ASUS Promotion - COD Black Ops 4

Anyone else getting the run-around from Amazon on the ASUS black ops promotion?  I purchased a qualifying motherboard and Amazon says they don't know anything about this promotion?

 

When contacting ASUS their response was that the retail participant will provide me with the ASUS access code to use on the promo website.

this one would be better off in the hot deals tread. normally those are registered on the asus website as far as I know

Why would Amazon know anything about it.  It says to register at Asus Promotion site.

Microcenter had no issue with the promotion.  They sent me my ASUS code and I was able to log it into the ASUS website and then ASUS gives me the cd key.

Not really.  Retailers the size of Amazon don't know every product.  It's Asus's promotion, their site would list the eligible items.  Buy said items.  Then as it says, open the box and get the code off the Thank You card.  

 

Then again, that may require work on the purchaser's part.  Much easier to blame Amazon for sucking than doing something yourself.  Entitled.

Entitled my ass.  I followed the instructions there was no thank you card inside the box.  Do you really think that manufacturers pull all inventory to add promo codes?  You're ignorance will be your downfall. I should have received an email from Amazon will the promo code.  They work just like any other retailer participating in the promotion.
