P20 Pro was announced in March, so that should be around the time the P30 will beannounced too.

The Price today should still be around 25-30% cheaper than MSRP, then it's a very solid price to buy, even now.

But for MSRP, absolutely NOT. You only pay MSRP for an Android device, if it has launched in the last <4 weeks, is about to launch, or it's a google Pixel or Oneplus smartphone.

P20 Pro is one of the best phones 2018~. Not the absolute bestest hardware ever, but:

- Very nice design, especially Twilight color

- VERY great Camera for Pictures (average for videos), 40MP Camera can do alot. And their Night Mode is very good.

- Huge 4000 mAh Battery, leading to a very good battery life

Alternatives: Galaxy S9+ (also, S10 rumors have started, will launch march~), Oneplus 6/6t, Pixel 3, Pixel 2 (XL)~

Every Flaggship kinda can hold 3-4 years . Of course, after 3 years, battery life won't be as good anymore, and you won't have the latest update anymore after that time.

But it will still work, should be fast enough for the typical daily tasks etc.

I doubt they do that. Maybe if you buy any no-names.

Huawei isnt no name, it's the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, with a huge presence even outside of Asia. They can't allow to use spy ware on their devices ?
