Trying to combine two partitions Please Help

I have a 970pro with two partitions I'm trying to combine. When I create a simple volume then try to extend that volume I get a warning that the drive will be converted to dynamic. Once it converts it, an error pops saying not enough space so then it doesn't combine. All I want is one partition for the entire drive.(pictures included)

Not sure if something went wrong but I don't see a link to the partition tool.
