Andorid box on TV - quiet sound

lorcav123

On my 32" TV I connected Android box TX3 pro but when I play some mkv movie in MX player it is really quiet, even with TV sound slider to 100%. Any fix for that? Android is 6.0.

Get a player with adjustable sound, like kodi.

With kodi you can boost the sound output.

OK, I try. By any chance does this has some connection with HW, HW and SW decoder?

Don't know about that, it just maybe the sound level on the file is just too weak.

It's more likely the source of the content you're watching has differing volume levels. Netflix & Amazon video content should be professionally volume leveled, while sources such as YouTube or streamed videos can differ depending on the actual source encoding.

i have found a lot of mkv movies it all depends on how it was copied/encoded.....some have been know to be crazy loud where others i have to crank up my sound...ive even seen it with netflix depending on what is used to watch...browser is normal loudness but if i use the app i have to turn my sound up a lot more....so it could also be the player your using itself to watch the mkv's

Crappy converts lead to horrendous audio tracks. Just happens if it's done bad. Also the player might not decode it fully and makes it sound like poo.
