Yamaha HS5 or JBL 305P MkII ?

Hey guys which one should I get? Both are good. I am confuse..

And do I need soundcard or Dac for this? 

I am a PC gamer. 

 

Or should I buy Logitech z906 vs Logitech 5500 this both is so popular...

Please give good advice.

Not necessarily. You can use onboard sound card, but studio monitors should be used with something that has balanced outputs for the best results.

 

Also, studio monitors have really flat response which may not be the best for gaming.

Those studio monitor sounds great on their own, but not very bassy

 

BUT

 

should you add a decent subwoofer and tuned correctly, they would sound awesome

I agree with @xtroria, I can't speak for the JBL monitors but HS5 monitors sound a bit "empty" without a subwoofer.

However if you also pick up a sub things are getting a bit pricey at this point, furthermore like @Niksa suggested plugging noisy / unbalanced on-board audio into highly sensitive studio monitors is typically ill-advised. To run them properly you'll eventually want an interface which adds more cost, and while I believe my HS5 + HS8 sub combo sounds great for ingesting media they're best used to create it.

It would seem you're okay with stereo audio (considering the monitors), I would honestly give Logitech Z623 a try, they're pretty cheap everywhere right now and I think you'll be surprised by the quality to cost ratio.

Unless you got money to blow.
