USB C to displayport Gsync compatibility

If my GPU has a usb c output, and I used a usb c to displayport adapter would I be able to run 165hz gsync? Thanks

It should be able to, if the DP capabilities of the USB-C port are provided by the dedicated GPU. However, if you are using a laptop, most laptops with USB-C with video output have the USB-C port connected to the integrated graphics, not to the dedicated GPU.

Hi! I recently bought a DELL G5 with 1050ti GPU. It has a Thunderbolt USB C port. Can you tell me whether I would be able to run an external 144 Hz monitor with Gsync? If not, then what can I do?
