Yes these seem fine. Out of these I'd choose the LG, cause all my life i've had lg monitors, and they have might have a 3day pixel warranty (they switch out your screen if it has dead pixels). Though i don't quite like the buttons on it. On the other hand it has usb passthrough for cheap.

I'm gonna go check out a 27 inch samsung screen. It's VA and curved, so i find it quite interesting. C27FG73

Yeah - I was looking at that one - the 24 inch one anyway. Just a tad over my price limit unfortunately x) Or I would probably get it. Probably gunna get the asus one - as I myself don't like the buttons on the LG either.

I only have a budget of around £200-220 - so I am planning on getting a 144hz monitor - 1ms response time. Can't afford gsync monitors.

This is my build.

I've been looking at:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Computer-Monitors/AOC-G2590PX-24-5-inch-Monitor-adjustable/B078S36M7Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1543246301&sr=8-2&keywords=g2460pf

Can someone tell me the difference? they seem the exact same except the usb hub. Ones cheaper. So guessing the usb hub is the increase in price?

I'm considering these, too, and that's all i found. USB and sometimes the stand is different amongst the versions of g2590. Some are listed with 400 cd, others with 350 cd brightness. In reality the brightness is much lower than that. I saw a guy on youtube who shared the data from a calibrator tool.

The monitor I bought was the LG monitor - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/24-lg-24gm79g-b-monitor-144hz-1920x1080-amd-freesync-1ms-350cd-m-vesa-displayport-hdmi-usb-30. Read reviews and it was one of the most praised 144hz monitors in my price range. The reason I didn't get the AOC one is because people have said the colour contrast on it is much lower than specified - and that the brightness is random with your monitor - didn't want to spend money on something that I might not get what it says it is. Plus the LG one was on sale at the time x) So it was a steal. Been using it since and no problems at all - except that my 75hz 4:3 monitor is considerably choppy because I'm running 144hz and 75hz. It fixes itself if i set my monitor to 120hz - which I should do - considering most new games out can't even get over 100 fps consistently.
