Hello, I have the Xiaomi Mi 11 and for some reason I can no longer (for the past month now) take further away photos without it being very blurry when I could flawlessly prior. I could even zoom into a performance in a concert before but that's not even remotely a possibility any more. Close up photos and videos like someone right in front of me is still as good as it ever was. The auto focus on those photos work as it should too. What could I do to try and fix this puzzling issue? Thank you.

is there a way to enable gestures navigation on xiaomi phones with Nova Launcher? If not, are there Launchers that support gesture navigation on MIUI and HyperOS?

I'm wondering if anyone has this issue with their xiaomi device where even when you set your notification (built-in xiaomi ringtones) that has a unique tactile vibration pattern; and when they receive a notification from whatsapp, instagram etc, it just completely ignores it and instead does the long double vibration. Even when receiving whatsapp calls, it does the long vibration pattern instead of the tactile ones. Only messages from SMS and incoming calls from the phone app follows the tactile vibration pattern. I updated from MIUI to HyperOS and the issue is still not fixed. (I had this issue on MIUI too) Current device: Xiaomi 13T Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, I'm struggling to find a good replacement for my old Xiaomi Mi Max 3. I'm currently using a Xiaomi Mi 11 something or other, and while I like it, I miss the screen size of the old Mi Max 3. They have discontinued that series but I'm hoping to find a new phone that's similar in some ways: - Relatively cheap (under $800 AUD or so, I'm lenient) - Large screen - Higher refresh rate (90hz+) - Decent speakers would be nice, I don't use headphones in bed - Good battery life (Mi Max had 5500 mAh, so around there) - Something with a bit of a lifespan, I'll use it for at least 3 years - Android (I'm used to MiUI but any android will do, not a fan of iPhones) I don't care about the camera at all, and I won't do any gaming or heavy use whatsoever. I only use my phone to scroll instragram and watch shows in bed, and listen to music. Hopefully there are people out there who appreciate a good phablet and have some suggestions for me to check out. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello there!!, I want to share an issue I'm experimenting since I bought my Router, When i ran speeds test and download large files, my Router always slow downs in a V graphic and later go up again, but later do the same slow down, I wonder if anyone experience this issue with this or other model, i had the same problem with a Belkin router. I'm currently using an Poco F3, Galaxy Tab A7, Moto g41 and moto G20 for testing my router. And of course I run the test with Wifi Only, a meter away, and different speed test and servers. I want to clarify my Modem ISP runs perfectly good without that issue as well the UTP Cat5e cable I'm connected. Thank for your attention and I'm waiting your help.

Hello people Is it possible to flash the smartphone chip directly with an adapter, similar to PC motherboard chips? I know this from PC mainboards: - SOP8 Chip IC Adapter - FVO Eeprom Ch341A USB Programmer Bios Flasher Is there something like this for smartphone chips? Unfortunately, my phone has completely bricked during the upgrade process (Xiaomi POCO M3). No Reovery Mode or similar available (on this device it would be accessible via the power button and volume down button). The device is completely dead, does nothing, so even when I try to charge it nothing happens. Already opened the device and removed the battery and tried the Xiaomi MiTool v2 without success.

Hi, Anyone recommend any cheaper alternatives to the Xiaomi Smart Pen (UK)? I don't want to spend £90 on an advanced stylus that I don't even know how much I'll usebut I've read that the Pad 5 authenticates if they're real (no idea if this is true)? Thanks!

xiaomi Can i skip wifi while setting up my xiaomi mi a2?
vital_fresh posted a topic in Phones and Tablets
I had some problems with my mi a2, and i did a factory reset (i think, it was some time ago), and now while setting up it can't find my wifi, i know there is notthing wrong with my signal because it's working on my laptop, and theres no option to skip wifi in the xiaomi setup, so now i can't get into my phone. I've looked into things like using android platform tools to maybe do something, but it seem like i have to do something with my phone to get it to work, and i cant get into my phone.Anyone got any advice? -
Hi, Recently new monitor is available in my local store, its new brand, never heard of except for the phones they produce but it has really good specs for the price Samsung VA Panel 3440x1440 ultrawide 21:9 Curved 121% sRGB 144hz Freesync Premium its priced at around 480USD which is cheap compared to other premium brands like LG which are priced at 800+ $ in my country. I didnt find many pro reviews except hardware unboxed, its behind the competition when it comes to G2G and other specs. But I want personal opinion, is it worth it for casual gamer with mixed online and offline games?

Has anyone reviewed the Xiaomi Android TV Mi P1? I was thinking of buying it but I don’t know if it’s any good, the specs for the price are decent. Any suggestions?

Some time ago today, my phone went unresponsive to touch. Since it’s xiaomi and random events like this are quite common, I’ve just rebooted it. After boot everything worked fine until I’ve lock the screen. After wake up it touch became unresponsive again. This happens every time. After reboot everything works just fine and then after lock and wake up no touch. I’ve tried already wiping the phone and it didn’t help which is super weird as it seems more like software issue. Screen was replaced like a year ago and couple months ago the phone was in repair due to getting wet. But again, this seems more like software issue, so I don’t think it’s related

I am planning to switch from an Xiaomi A2 Lite to a Samsung phone because my current one is starting to crap out on me and I liked my previous Samsungs a bit better. Currently I am thinking of an M21 or M31. I was also considering something like an A40 or A41. But as far as my research goes, many A series phone have only a 720p display and usually have lower mAh for the battery. Should I be concerned? Also, it may be relevant that I am planning to buy a used phone because I am on a budget. I can get an M21 or M31 for 100-130 Euros if I am patient and haggle a bit. What other Samsung phones would you recommend that are in the M21 ballpark? I would prefer a newer model as I would like the battery to still be healthy and so I would like to avoid stuff like the A40 or anything from 2019 honestly as I think that the best part of the battery life is already gone, but if I am wrong, let me know. Do any of the A or M series models have some charging management technology thing? Because, I usually leave my phone to charge over night and that apparently wears out the battery over time. THANKS A LOT!

Hey, I was searching through websites and couldn't find a fix for "I think" quite common issue. I have HyperX could mix Bluetooth headphones connected to xiaomi 10t phone (through Bluetooth obviously) and when I connect to voice chat server or private call quality of the audio everywhere drops significantly. It happens only while headphones are connected through Bluetooth, when I wire them up it works normally. I'm using in-built headphones mic not the one you can plug-in. Also when I disconnect from discord VC server phone lose connectivity to headphones, I need to turn off and on bluetooth to fix it (headphones are showing as connected to phone, but don't receive sound [signal] from phone). Specs etc: - Xiaomi 10t - MIUI version 12.5.3 - Android version 11RKQ1.200826.002 - headset HyperX Cloud mix Bluetooth I tried: - "Adjust media sound in multiple apps" in sound assistant, cool feature but it ain't it - installing older version of discord with communication and call mode, interestingly call mode broke things further, since only discord sound was working... - fiddling with OpenSl es (off/on) in discord options, didn't feel any change at all, maybe mic was working differently? I think the best bet is in developer mode Bluetooth settings, the problem is everything I change won't stick.. beside changing MAP version. I assume if the options are there then my phone should be able to use them, no? And even if my headphones wouldn't be compatible with them, they should still change, but they don't..

I had a Tp-link router, WR841N, a very basic router. My Xiaomi camera had no issue connecting to it, but it doesn't seem to work on a newer model Tp-link Archer C20 router. The wifi bars in the Xiaomi Home app are greyed out when the C20 router is listed. Is there a way to get the camera to work on my current router? does the camera have issues with some routers in particular?

Does anyone have experience using a China ver phone (specifically Xiaomi) as their daily in the States or Europe? I recently saw a really good deal on a Redmi 10x but I know that phone has never gotten a global version. Would it be as simple as choosing English, removing bloatware and installing the playstore or is it more complicated than that? Would I have to flash GAPPS or would just installing google apps like maps & gmail be ok ? Preferably I'd like to not root the phone but I do have experience with rooted phones ( although I've only ever rooted android emulators which probably doesn't count tho). Basically if anyone has experience using a China rom as their daily driver I'd like to know what I'd need to expect ?

Hello, I have an issue with my phone which I wanted to ask about. For the last week or two I feel like it drains the battery way faster than it used to. I downloaded AccuBattery and as you can see on the screenshots, it says i only have 5 hours screen on time when on 100%. It is a xiaomi redmi note 8 pro with a 4500 mAh battery, so I feel like it should have way more sot. Right now for example I am on a train for like half an hour, just watching memes on 9gag, and it already drained 7% of the battery which just doesn't seem right to me. Any idea what might be causing it and what should i do to fix it?

I've always used an android phone with a SDCard (previously a Nokia 5 running Android 9, never experienced any big issues) and recently I switched to a Redmi Note 8T, and every time I restart, soft reboot, shutdown or update my phone it corrupts my SDCard, I've tried multiple tricks including converting the partition style between GPT/MBR, formating in NTFS/exfat and it still would break I tried cleaning up the /Android folder and it still happened (I always ejected before restart) I'm looking for a solution and the reason of this I also wanted to know if this is Android or MIUI related and if anyone has experienced this? And if it is and Software or Hardware issue Please help!

I have a Redmi Note 4(mido). One day it suddenly froze (while watching ltt video by coincidence), and started boot looping on MI screen. I had not installed any custom rom or unlocked the bootloader, so I couldn't even flash twrp and get data back. I had to send it to a repair person who somehow reset the android and got it working, however all my data is erased and I don't have any backup of that data I have switched the phone off from the time I have got it to prevent any data overwriting. Can anyone tell me how can I get my data back? (It would be very helpful If I could do it for free) Edit:- I also have a laptop (I don't know whether telling this will help)

Summary Xiaomi has announced MIUI 12.5 with new features such as more natural notification sounds, better memory management which will reduce memory usage by 20%, MIUI+ and Xiaomi are adding more dynamic wallpapers users can pick from in this release. This update will be available for the Mi 10 series, Redmi K30 series, Redmi K20 series, Redmi Note 9, Mi 10 Lite, Redmi 10X series, Xiaomi CC 9e/CC9, and Redmi Note 7 series in January as a public beta and the Mi 11, Mi 10, and Mi 10 Ultra/Pro will receive the update in April. Quotes My thoughts This is quite a minor release on MIUI but it will still be good for Xiaomi users, especially ones with low end phones, who need all the extra performance they can get Sources https://www.techradar.com/news/miui-12-5-features-devices-list

(graph below) I've been having insane battery drain since the past 2 weeks where I would charge my phone to 80% like I normally do then use it and notice my battery visibly draining at insane rate, that is until just now when I restart it and charge it to 100% and now it has returned to normal. I'm very confused as to what is going on and what should I do if this happens again? initially I just thought the battery is going bad but now this clearly isn't the case.
