Hello everyone! I need a little clarification about something: What happened: I was about to play COD: Warzone, when starting, the game showed a message that indicated that It had to be updated to play. No problem with that, I started the download. After a while I came back to my Xbox (XBOX ONE S) to see how was the update going. Because of some problem with my internet the download started at a very slow speed. Ok, that happened before, not a problem, I just gotta pause it and start the download again. But, this time, I mistakenly press the "cancel" button, instead of the "pause", and my game was completely uninstalled from my console. Is that supposed to happen? Cancelling an update deletes your game? For real I gotta download 103GB right now?

ArsTechnica made a small article about Eurogamer announcing that it will have exclusive info on the 'Project Scoprpio' revision of the xbox one. Ars says that Eurogamer has been one of the harshest critics of the Xbox One specially comparing it against the PS4, so this move is either because of confidence or desperation. I don't know if this has been posted before but since I'm anxiously waiting for Arpil 11th, this other reveal may help me feel realized source: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/04/xbox-scorpio-reveal-coming-on-thursday-morning-with-technical-emphasis/

Just want to know if BF 1 has native controller support, or if it will work the way it did with BF4? If anyone has it already, can you see how it is with an xbox 1 controller. (I am aware of the inherent dis-advantage I will be at using a controller, but I simply cannot play with KB/M, and tbh i've never been good enough at these games to worry about it. Thanks.

Hey guys Lifeguard here, my dad plays GTAV religiously on his Xbox one. He only plays on the online Multi-player and often has problems with connecting with other players, mostly only connecting with one or two players at one time. TL;DR: Trouble connecting to high populated lobbies on GTAV online Multi-player, need help/suggestions -We've called AT&T's uverse and asked them to open up the ports that Xbox live support suggests you port forward open. -We've tried to open his NAT type to Open but it reverts back to moderate for some reason -We've worked for months on this issue with nothing really improving his situation. Rockstar is obviously no help, so I came to you guys for any more suggestions. Yes, he's still a filthy console peasant, but I want to help him be able to connect with more players in lobbies. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys! -Alifeguard

As in the news lately, you can stream games from your PC to your XboxOne now (or better than before) with their "Wireless Display" app on Xbox. I want to use this feature but my PC cannot see my Xbox as a device to connect to wirelessly. I downloaded the "Wireless Display" application on both my Windows 10 PC and my XboxOne, I have them connected to the same wifi and when i use winkey+P then click "Connect to a wireless display" I don't see my Xbox as an option to stream to. The "Wireless Display" application is open on my XboxOne at the same time as well. i7-7700KR9 290XGigabyte Z270XPWindows 10 Home build number 1809

I literally just made this account to ask this question before I trash this cord. Since out of the blue today my original Xbox One console has been shutting off and having trouble turning on. Ive deduced it to be a problem within either the power cord or power supply. When I plug in the cord from the supply to the console, it shuts off, however the power supply itself seems to have no issues, since when plugged into any outlet it turns bright orange as it should. Im asking if its maybe an issue within the power supply itself, I have tools to open it and engineering friends who can help, or whether if its a problem with the cord, which can easily be replaced. Or both, which both can be replaced

I have an interesting problem with hotspot and would need some expert advice... Here's the deal: I have Xbox One (Original model if that matters) set up with Android hotspot. I used to have Nokia 8 with Android 9 and 4G connection and everything was working fine. No lag or anything for example playing Rocket League (Also worked fine with Honor 6 Lite hotspot which is a trash phone). This went on for about a year without a single problem. Then my Nokia died and I just got Oneplus 8 with Android 10. I set up hotspot and instantly got huge bouncing lag. Then I tried to join my friends Rocket League game but joining would not work. We tried Remnant but game said something like "Host is not on a secure connection". I tried changing Access point bandwitch from 5 to 2,4 but to no avail. Android 10 also has an option to use "Wi-Fi 6 standard hotspot", tried that but no change. Restarted Xbox several times, nothing. Then I remembered reading that if I share my internet to a computer and share that connection to Xbox, it might work. So I gave it a try and boom, I got to join my friend's game and first got a little lag but then went pretty smoothly. Windows 10 laptop was used in between. Lag happened also the day before so I don't think it is something that occurs because of my provider but because of the sharing properties. Sooooo after this long introduction: Has something changed how the Internet is shared between Android 9 and 10? Or is it Oneplus's fault? And more importanty can I do anything about it? File a ticket and wait for an update of course... :) Also tried a speedtest, should be sufficient: Download: 10.3 Upload: 3,3 Ping: 21ms Jitter: 1ms

I have the Audio Technica AD700x for my PC and I would like to use them with my Xbox One X. The console is connected to my monitor via HDMI. The monitor is a BenQ XL2420TX. I have connected the headset to the monitor via the 3.5mm jack and it feels like I am missing something. I have found this post where 3 years ago it was recommended to use a Turtle Beach Dss2: Is this still a good option? How can I get the best audio with my headphones? Additionally, should I try to find something compatible with Atmos? Note: I am planning to buy a 4K, HDR10/DolbyVison, VRR monitor whenever they are available. Any idea if they will come with any audio enhancements or connections? Thanks in advance!

My recon 50x headset outputs chat volume extremely quiet even when the volume is all the way up and the party chat slider is all the way to the right (so it is only outputting party chat not game chat). Even with this the audio is super quiet but when I switch it to game sound only it is really loud. Is there something I’m missing?

I'm absolutely baffled by the download rate on my Xbox One compared to my PC! After one of the Xbox One's updates it now shows my download speed which sits at about 7.5Megabytes per second to 8.5! Now the problem is that my PC only hauls in 1.1Megabytes per second at max through either Origin or Steam. What's up with that? I've always had a suspicion that my Xbox Had a way faster download speed than my laptop! Any help would be awesome!!

Not sure whether to post this on Deal section. It seemed like a news to me. So, I'm posting this on News section. Now students who are living in US can get a free XBOX One [old bigger one, not "S"] if you purchase Surface Pro 4. Basically, they're getting rid of old stocks. I can say. Source: Engadget.

Living with my wife in a 1 bedroom apartment has shown its issues. Like gaming on a custom PC is not all quite possible when using the space as efficiently as we try. I have resorted to console gaming on the Xbox One and PS3 while needing to be creative. This build log shows the work in progress of cleaning up my little bit of gaming space while also showing the creativity of keeping an apartment classy and clutter free (at least in to a tight corner). Also, this was a good time to learn creative wood techniques. Hope you all enjoy. This is my current setup, complete with wiring. I keep game cases in the tiny box to the bottom right. My old Xbox 360 could sit on that coke box, but the Xbone doesn't allow for vertical standing. Tried. I hide power plugs behind the coke box and an extension cord when I get my SNES to play some Donkey Cong country. Here is a close up look of the TV. A no frills Sony. It feeds down under the carpet. Didn't do that on purpose. Landlord had to fix the subfloor and the wiring got tucked under it. Quite nice. Yes, that is a first gen Zune. Best media player on the planet and it still works. Only a 3 hour battery now. Here is the culprit that I am going to fix. I will build a shelf to stack the PS3 and Xbone. Idea is to add an HDMI switcher to allow the computer behind the bag to run on the TV as well. I will do a separate post when I get around to getting the PC up and running as a media server and NAS. I am going to fix all my problems with this. Scrap wood. Courtesy of my father in law, as well as the power tools to make my storage organizer. I won't show the steps in cutting. Pretty standard cuts with very basic joints, glue, and 4 in screws. Most of the pieces together to form a frame. Ran out of time and grabbed a piece to take home and verify it would fit. Perfect! And yes, the Xbone will squeeze in there with micrometers to spare on each side. I won't be boarding up the sides for airflow sake. I will finish putting all the pieces together this week and will upload more pics. Thanks for taking a look. All thoughts are welcome. ~TheCamba

Hi, I want to buy a wireless Xbox One controler, but I have a lot of games that supports only 360 conroller. There's a video by Austin Evans (sory that not LTT) that shows how to connect wired controller. The wireless controller has a wireless adapter and i'm not sure that these drivers will work. How to make it compatible?

In the wake of the newest console generation, more and more videos have been popping up in an effort to credit PC as a better bang for the buck at ultra budget, spoiler alert, it isn't. Some Youtuber puts together a budget build around 400USD, but sometimes as low as 300USD and very rarely as high as 500USD. Usually the builds are woefully under powered for the price, or they bought them used, which is good for them but is not exactly useful information for the masses. Here are the idiots. Video: Parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xCP4kL By his own parts list, only 80USD out of the 300USD went to actual performance parts. But you could argue the little bit extra spent on faster RAM can be counted as a performance part, and not there as bare essential. So about 100USD out of the 300USD budget went to performance. The 300USD fallout 4 PC Video: Parts list in the video. By his own benchmarks, the A10-7800k with 1600MHZ 8GB Ram averages 31FPS at 720p all low settings. With dips to 24 and maxes at 61FPS. By newegg prices, only 80USD out of the 300USD went to actual performance parts. Video: AMD A6-7400K + 1866MHZ memory. Video: Parts: http://austinnotduncan.com/builds/boson/ Athlon 5350 + R7-240. I won't go on any further. But check it out, there are way to many of these videos out there. I oppose to the idea of ''console killer'' budget computer builds as a whole. PC doesn't need to compete with consoles at the 300-350USD price tag, nor can it. The reason it can't is because when you shop for motherboards, computer cases, power supplies, HDD, Ram and a DVD drive. You are paying for more than what you actually need. You don't utilize 100% of the slots on your motherboard, there is plenty of space left over in your case, your power supply is not stretched to it's limit by a 100USD AMD APU, your HDD is not full and you buy 8GB of RAM because 4GB is to little. Sony and Microsoft don't have this problem. The motherboard is fully utilized, the case is full, the power supply is as powerful as it needs to be with little headroom. The only unnecessary parts is the unused RAM and the unused HDD space, which isn't really a notable minus. But here is the shocking revelation! Sony and Microsoft can sell their systems cheaper because when you buy a game for their system, they get revenue. And in the case of Microsoft, you must pay them for using their online service. The main selling point of PC is the fact that it's an open platform, which simply doesn't allow for any one or two companies to sell them for next to no profit. Mainly because they cannot collect revenue from the user buying software for their computer, though i'm guessing Valve is trying to remedy this with their Steam OS and the ''steam computers''. But lets look at some budget builds: 300USD = The bare essentials + an AMD APU and maybe 1866MHZ or 2133MHZ ram. This is useless garbage. 400USD = The bare essentials + an Intel i3 and a GTX 750Ti. Hey look at that, you're already as good as if not better than modern consoles. Witcher 3: Fallout 4 : COD: AW: 450 to 500USD = Switch out the 750Ti for an R9-380 This is as low as i would recommend for PC gaming, unless there is no way you can get any more money. Further up, around the 750USD to 900USD mark, you end up at the performance sweet spot. A decent PSU from a reputable manufacturer. An AMD R9-390 (non X) An intel i5 quad core. The lowest 2.7GHZ model is good, get the overclock able K version if budget permits. A decent case with modern solution to cable hiding, CPU cooler mounting and so on. An HDD with 1TB+ storage, plus an SSD for OS and some games if budget permits. A cheap DVD drive An operating system Then you easily get at least 3-5 times the performance of consoles, by spending 2-3 times the amount.

I recently learned how to solder and repaired an xbox one controller with stick drift. I bought a replacement analog stick and successfully repaired the controller with no issues. My friend then mentioned to me he needed the same repair. I attempted the same procedure on his controller but now it will not turn on without usb connection. Every time I try to turn the controller on with just batteries it blinks once then shuts off. Any advice on how to fix this and what I may have messed up during the repair.
