Is there a way to install a 64 bit Android operating system in a PC, specifically Android Nougat. I'm building a Media Player from old desktop hardware with android installed to it. I specifically want it to be android. I've searched it but everyone is showing an Android x86_x64, don't know if it's a 32bit or 64bit OS. I have 4GB of RAM so i'm afraid if i install a 'x86_x64' OS, i won't be able to use that 4gigs of RAM. If this 'x86_x64' is a 64 bit operating system, will it show up as a 64bit OS? I have attached a pic in which someone has installed android on a laptop. Link to the video:

As the title says, I'd like an Android emulator for my PC, primarily because I have no actual Android device in my possession, and I would like to use a mouse/keyboard.

With the launch of The Anniversary Edition i7-8086 (based on x86), I had some questions. There is already a techquickie of the difference between x64 an x32 bit architectures ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IknbgnJLSRY ) but with the release of the new CPU, I was wondering: Is there any difference in regards to performance to it's x64 bit (i7-8700K) counterpart? Is it compatible with same hardware and applications? Does it have any refinements like cache, materials etc.? (Note: Pardon me if I make any mistakes while naming the processors) Also, I would like a techquickie on this as the last one was quite some time ago (3 years)

Why are there no laptops with both x86/x64 and arm based processors on the market? (Besides the extra cost of an additional processor) Since this would make laptops have good battery life and performance at the same time (even if it would be required to restart the pc, in order to change between the processors)

So, i use the mod called TexMod to mod XCom, I mainly use it to get better visual cues like brighter text, symbols so i don't need to strain my eyes looking for stuff on screen since i am visually impaired, and its really difficult for me to do so and uncomfortable. I have used it previously, a few years ago when XCom was still new and had no problems and i was using windows 10 X64 Version 1511 at that time. Now i just cant seem to make it work, i mean when i launch it, it just stays there with a blank screen and nothing happens and it just stays like this forever. Tried running it in compatible mode for Win 7, XP SP2, XP SP1 and running as admin and no luck, am at my wits end here and have no idea what else should i do. The thing is i still have an old i3 Laptop that's running the older windows 10 X64 Version 1511 which I have managed to keep it that way for experimenting, and Texmod seems to work just fine on that one. Am currently running the latest version of windows 10 X64 My system specs are as follows - i7 8700 GTX 1080 Ti 32 GB (2x16) Ram Z370 Motherboard 250 GB Samsung SSD 500 GB Samsung SSD 2 TB Toshiba HDD (7200 RPM, 64 MB Catch) Any help regarding the issue is greatly appreciated. The game is not the same for me without that Mod.

I have a big and weird problem with installing Nvidia Geforce drivers and Geforce Experience. The installation of Nvidia Geforce drivers (397.93) and geforce experience (3.14.0.139) cant install anything because it askes for the instalation package (vc_runtimeAdditional_x86.msi in a folder from which you can install the product microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x86 Additional Runtime 14.0.24516 See picture) depending on what version of the C++ runtime i have installed is askes for either a x64 por x86 version of the same runtime but it is always the version 14.0.24516 I tried deleting all the visual C++ programs and reinstalling the latest versions. I tried having only 2015 versions and only 2017 versions When installing 2017 versions the installation program also askes for the same file from the 2015 14.0.24516 version (since when does an installer need an older version of another program to install) I tried cleaning registry with CCleaner I have the latest windows 10 64 bit updates I tried selecting all the C++ .msi installation files from the folder C:\ProgramData\Package Cache nothing was the right one because I dont have the required version number The latest thing I did was look in the windows registry for all the files with the version name 14.0.24516. I found 3 versions: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x64 Additional Runtime - 14.0.24516 Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x86 Additional Runtime - 14.0.24516 Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x64 Minimum Runtime - 14.0.24516 As you can see the x86 minimum runtime - 14.0.24516 entry is missing. could this be it! This is the one it is asking for and this is the only one that has no registry entry. Please help, I dont have any video card drivers now and cant install them. EDIT!! I found the problem: I search the registry for all entries with the numbers 14.0.24516 in it and deleted them (I backed up every change ofcourse) and this did it. So i think that windows was looking for that old version because that was registered and it overwrote the new versions of the program.

____________ My good monitor is in RMA right now so I dug out my old ACER X223W 1650x1050 16:10 and trying to get the drivers to install but theres only 32bit vista drivers. Is there any possable way to tweak it to install as 64bit. And I'v tryed windows update and nothing comes up. Operating System: Windows 10 Pro x64 Build 1803 / 17134.48 Monitor Acer X223W DVI-D 59/60Hz Because if I can install the drivers I can enable 75 Hz on my monitor. If I can not install them can anyone link me to a monitor overclocking guide so I can overclock to (75 Hz) because I'v seen on some websites it says 76 Hz ?? so it may be able to overclock the monitor. ____________ The Website With Drivers https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/834?b=1 ____________

Source:http://www.hotchips.org/program/ So it seems that on Tuesday of this week at 5:45 P.M. AMD will be hosting an event on "A New, High Performance x86 Core Design from AMD." This is quite obviously Zen that they're talking about, so by the sounds of it it looks like we'll be getting more architectural details on the Zen architecture. This will definitely be an interesting follow up to the info AMD gave us a few days ago on the memory heirachy of Zen, and hopefully they'll give us more info on the design of the individual cores in Zen as well as perhaps some more benchmarks (though I personally am not betting on this happening). So stay tuned for more Zen coming at ya in 2 days!

Hello, I've got a spare Vista box but it only comes with a 32bit disc. I would like to install the 64bit version on my laptop though but can't seem to find any downloads or information for it. May I ask if someone could point me in the right direction on obtaining a 64bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium and how I would go about burning and installing it (should I need specific steps)? Thanks!

Long time fan, first time poster. I'm looking for help with my laptop. Only recently noticed that Windows is only recognizing 3.47GB of the 8GB I have in the system. Well first thing I did was go into MSCONFIG and see if max memory was selected. Well it wasn't so windows should be getting all of my ram. Then I wen't into my BIOS to check and see if the mem slot was bad. No, BIOS recognized all 8GB. I am running x64 Windows 7. I have looked on resource monitor and it is saying that the 4GB i'm missing is "Hardware Reserved". Next I went back into my BIOS to see if I could take a look at memory remapping. Turns out this laptop's BIOS is extremely locked down. So memory remapping is out of the question. Do you guy's have any idea what I could do about this? I am already out of my warranty period. In case when I tried one ram of 4gb 1666mhz and 1 ram of 2gb 1333mhz it work all when windows need to load. Windows show loading animation and restart. I tried both ram in other laptop and it works (same processor and same windows x32) Its MSI CR620 My System: Proccessor: Intel Celeron P4600 @2.00GHz i3 BIOS: E1681MS Ver.10C HOW CAN I RUN THIS RAM

Hi, I recently upgraded the ram in my laptop, and was wondering what`s better the chrome for x86 or the x64 one. From what I read, the x64 one improvements is neglijable except for the extra ram consumed. The major advantages of the 64bit is the extra layer of security. But in performane is there any difference?

Hi everyone, I am doing a part list on PcPartPicker for my new PC and I am just wondering is it true that when building a gaming PC that you are much better off getting i5 over i7 in terms of value for performance? If that is true then would getting an i7 instead of i5 mean I don't have to upgrade for longer than if I were to have an i5? Thanks! Stórm.

Built on the 14nm process, Xeon D will be the very first SoC (System on Chip) from Intel to have the Xeon brand, targetting at the enterprise market for hyperscale workloads. It's also the 2nd CPU based on the Broadwell archtecture besides the Core M. The CPUs will range from 2 cores all the way up to 8 cores, in total of up to 9 SKUs, with one under the Pentium name. It will have your typical instuction sets for virtualization like VT-D/VT-X as well as others like TXT, TSX and AVX2. It will support both DDR3 well as DDR4. The very first Xeon D will be out around Q2 2015 with limited networking features, even though it has integrated 10GbE, with the come out around Q3 2015. Xeon D 8 cores will have a TDP of 45w. The Pentium will be a dual core with a TDP of less than 20w. Intel has already shipped samples to some of their clients and they're already testing with it. Xeon D is Intel answer to AMD's SoC code name Seattle under the Opteron brand, which features up to 8 64bit ARM Cortex-57 cores, dual 10GbE, a cryptographic co processor, and support for DDR3 as well as DDR4 with ECC support and more. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/xeon/xeon-processor-d-family.html http://www.cpu-world.com/news_2014/2014112501_Preliminary_Intel_Xeon_D_lineup.html http://www.v3.co.uk/v3-uk/news/2367155/intel-begins-sampling-third-generation-14nm-xeon-d-soc http://www.greendatacenternews.org/articles/share/753581/ AMD SoC http://www.anandtech.com/show/8362/amds-big-bet-on-arm-powered-servers-a1100-revealed http://www.tomsitpro.com/articles/amd-opteron-seattle-arm-soc,1-2105.html http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2014/08/amd-shows-off-the-guts-of-its-first-arm-chip-for-the-server/

Hi, For the past year, ever since Windows 8 was released, I've noticed that most tech critics have called it the worst Windows release since Windows ME (deserved the hate) and Windows Vista (got more hate than it deserved). What's the problem that people have with it? If the start screen is an issue, you can always install "Classic Shell" or something, right? I have been using Windows 8/ 8.1 since over a year now and it seems to be extremely stable and faster than Windows 7. So what's the problem? Enlighten me.. Cheers! -SgtBug
