Hi, At the moment I have following network setup in our home/SOHO. Internet subscription of 1000Mbps down and 50Mbps up. A virtualized pfSense on VMWare ESXI 7.0 (Host Spec: HP SFF8200 with I5-2500 en 8GB ram) and a TP link Deco X60 wireless solution with 3 units. I use them with an internet backhaul. I bought the TP link Deco X60 in the end of may as replacement of my router and acces point setup at the moment. The installation was kinda easy because there weren't any settings to configure. I got fantastic wireless speeds. My house consists of two floors and concrete walls. I was able to get at least 300Mbps down and 45 Mbps with my iPhone 7 and at least 700Mbps down and 45Mbps up with my MacBook Pro 2015 around the house. However some devices (An iPad Air 2 and a laptop with an Intel 8260 wireless chip) where loosing their connection all the time. Tis worsened when the new firmware came out on the 19th of juin ( firmware: 200527), at that point every wireless device experienced disconnects every few minutes. So I started mailing Tp-Link support, they said it had to do with double NAT (kinda weird since all my wired devices where perfectly fine), and they wanted me to put the main deco in bridge modus at my ISP modem/router. So I did. Unfortunately the Tp-Link was not able to fetch a public IP adres (it took me two weeks of mailing to convince the support office of this fact). So their next suggestion was to put the Deco X60 in AP mode instead of router mode. Unfortunately my ISP's router/modem does only support 15 devices at the same time so this wasn't feasible for me (we have 30 devices). So I started working with pfSense and was able to configure it and get It working. I was able to put the pfSense router in bridge mode. So the decos only work as APs. Doing this the stability of the connection between the devices improved greatly. However a few problems remain with the Deco X60: - The TP-link setup is completely dependent on an app, there is a web interface but it can only be used for rebooting the satellites and upgrading the firmware. I'm afraid for the longevity of the device. - The device has bad security it uses a combination of WPA/WPA2 personal (There have been network attacks in the past so good security is important for me). - Everything is locked down, even the channels can't be chosen. (The device has chosen the busiest channel and there is no way to change it). - In AP mode there is no possibility to assign a static IP to the devices. - Also I did pay for the router function but I will not be using it anymore. - The device it not yet ready to be sold, due to unstable firmware. The Tp link support guy allowed me to return the product. The question is, what do I put in instead? I've a budget around 400 Euro. The nice thing about the deco X60 is, that it is very very fast and that it had WiFi 6 for future proofing. So the devices I replace the Deco set with need to be at least as fast as the deco X60. Wifi 6 would be nice but not heaving it, is not a dealbreaker. For the moment the three units cover the house perfectly. So qua range it would have to be the same or better. It's also important that there is a seemingness roaming feature. I only need one SSID, the Deco mixed the 2.4g en 5g signals which worked very well. I do not need multiple VLANS. I had following replacements in mind: - Two Ubiquiti UniFi Flex HD (ca. 350 Euro) - Two Cisco Meraki Go GR60 (ca. 344 Euro) - Two Asus ZenWiFi AX (XT8) (ca. 467 Euro) - Maybe four Cisco 1815i (there is a global deal buy one, get one)? (ca. 276 Euro) I'm open to for other suggestions, also I find it important that the device I'm buying receives updates for at least a few years. Kind regards, SuperAn

I need help with my new build. I can't find out whether the NZXT X60 liquid cpu cooler can has enough clearance to fit in the Raidmax Vampire case. Help PLZ.

OK, so I did everything per instructions: connected 3-pin pump cable to CPU Fan header, (2) 140 mm fans to the Molex, and USB cable to the USB port on the motherboard. During boot up, NZXT logo lights up, 140's are spinning, but I'm getting the "CPU Fan 1 Error" message from BIOS. CPU temps were initially at 69F and quickly risen to 71F within a minute. Am I doing something wrong here? What am I missing? Thoughts, suggestions?

Hey guys, it's me again. Since my previous questions regarding which cooler to get have been answered, I thought I might create a new threat to sort thing out. So the current idea is: getting a NZXT Kraken X60 running it in Push-Pull (4x 140mm fan) @low PWM/voltage (regarding the fan) controlled through the NZXT software placing it underneath the top plate so that the rad + 2 fans are inside and 2 fans are above/outside the case I'm running AeroCool SharkFans with Red LEDs at the moment and since I "colored" my whole setup in back-red I'd like to use LED fans for this as well. So here is my question: Are LED fans (which obviously aren't as powerfull as the NZXT FX-140LB PWM that are included with the Kraken) recommended/usefull on a watercooler? Since I'm running Push-Pull I guess the loss of airpressure isn't that big but what about noise and lifetime (one of my SharkFans broke because he had to create too much pressure so he began getting noisy with a broken bearing). I have the NZXT FZ-140 in mind since it's their "best" performing LED fan. But that is for case cooling so I'm really unsure regarding CPU/water-cooling on an AIO unit. Do you have any other recommendations or should I stick with these or my SharkFans OR even go with the NZXT FX-140LB PWMs? Thanks a lot in advance! Anybody Running the Kracken x60 with NF-A14 fans? Any better fans for the Kracken?

I am planning on buying an AIO water cooling unit for my system so I can overclock my FX-6350 to at least 5GHz on weekends. I plan to mount the fans on the exterior of the case in pull because there isn't enough room for the fans in case. There is 30mm of space from the top of my case to the top of the motherboard and the Kraken is 27mm thick so it should work. Also the 140mm fan holes are 15mm apart at their edges. Let me know what you guys think.

Hey guys, in january I'll make the switch to a NZXT Kraken X60 to replace my CPU-aircooler (Noctua NH-U12P). The thing is that I'm quite unsure if I should run it as exhaust like I planned to since my GPUs aren't blower style so the hot air from them goes through the cooler/radiator and heats it up. You can see my rig in my signature and I'll post the current cooling setup and the planned one below. Current cooling setup: Planned cooling setup: Any suggestions to improve airflow and lower temps at least on the CPU? (GPUs would be great as well but is hard to achieve with their stockcoooler - 84°C is the best I managed under full load) And yes, once the CPU temps are lowered I'll push the OC to 5GHz (should still be below 65°C under full load). Hey guys, since I'm going to get a NZXT Kraken X60 somewhere around january and my current case (Sharkoon T9 Value) won't really fit it (I cut out 2 140mm fan holes - would have to mount the fans outside), I've started thinking about switching it. While I'm at it, I remembered having a lot of problems with cablemanagement and airflow in this case and since I want to get 2 NZXT Kraken G10 for my graphicscards later next year I need at least one additional fan-mount on the bottom of the case. So what I'll need is: 2x 140mm top fan-mount support for NZXT Kraken X60 radiator 1x 120/140mm rear fan-mount (later used for G10 radiator like a Corsair H55) 1x 120/140mm bottom fan-mount (later used for G10 radiator like a Corsair H55) 2x 120/140mm front fan-mount (alternatively on the side - storage and airflow) Since I want to reuse my cathodes (red) and maybe get some LED-stripes I want a case with a window. The one I've come across, meeting these is the CM Storm Trooper SGC-5000-KWN1. But I'm not so sure about it. What are your thoughts? Kind regards, Trek

i have "be quiet!" 140mm case fans in my phantom 630 and i want to get a kraken x60. since the bequiet fans have different mounting how could i attach them to the radiator? I don't want to go out and buy new fans.

Hey guys I have an old IBM/Lenovo X60 tablet/laptop that I use as a second screen when gaming and other stuff when I'm too lazy to turn on my desktop... I was thinking of replacing the old harddrive with an ssd, but I don't know if is worth the cost... do you think it will help on the performance of the machine? It was "born" with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, and has an Intel Core Duo L2400 @ 1.66GHz and 1.5GB of ram. I hope you guys can help...

Hi everyone! I am currently building a new gaming pc with a Kraken X60 and a switch 810 and I was wondering about the best way to mount the radiator (2 x 140mm) and the fans to get the best temps. Here's how I think I should do it: white = radiator location blue = airflow direction (don't pay attention to the left rad and the bottom rad and fans, as they aren't present in my case) As I would have 4 intakes and 1 exhaust only, it may not be very well balanced.... Tell me what you think! Thanks!!
