I'm considering to buy this monitor for daily productivity (mainly programming) use. I would like to hear opinions from other people who have this monitor, or other 34" ultrasharp series. I've been looking on reviews but couldn't find more than few that were not so much useful. The only con I see so far is that it has 60Hz refresh rate. I would personally like to have more because it is better for your eyes if you sit 8h a day in front of it, but since I'm not gaming this should be good also. How is the text quality and sharpness, is it sharp enough and good for reading, coding whole day. Are there any problems that I should be aware of? I've found it for pretty reasonable price (550€). Feel free to type your experiences

We all know that on launch, the extra $50 to go from the 7700 XT to 7800 XT was well worth it, but what price would we consider the 7700 XT worth it? Considering I'm seeing the 7700 XT go on sale for $430, at what point should we start recommending it? $400? $380? Obviously, the relative price/performance should exceed that of the 7800 XT, to follow the standard 'value' argument cards should follow (exception being RTX 4000 series but that's a nightmare in its own when the $1600 card is one of the best value options...) I have an ASUS VG27AQL1A Zaku and the problem is, my GeForce GTX 1070 is too old to 'support' GSync compatible monitors. The 'support' is italic and bold is because, it works, however, I got no display on POST until the log screen, means I can't see the UEFI and my motherboard add-on speaker will sound off error that there's no display detected. Taking a look at my local retail price lists, I'm looking at the Gigabyte's GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Vision, which is $1.45-1.5K (after reversing, it's about nearly US$1.1K), not sure if 3080 Vision might be in stock, I need the slight VRAM bump due to some hobby work. I think a month or so, the 3070 series was $500 more, and the newly released 3050 was $800, it's now hovering $550-700. Also my 1070 is the Founders Edition, I would like to retire it ASAP.

I am saving up for an I7 6700k and a Noctua NH-L9x65, Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler. for a total of 350$ with shipping so to offset the cost I want to sell my I5 6400 and stock cooler bundle together What should I sell it for. Also, Should I spend the money to get a real 6400 box or can I just put it in any old CPU packing material add the cooler and box it with a lot of bubble rap.

Hey there gang. Recently my MOBO+CPU has failed (not sure yet, a CPU dummy substitute on the way, but i'm starting to think about upgrading) and i need to buy something new. My previous configuration was a Rampage V + i7 5820k @4.5ghz daily. I also rock a Sapphire Vega64 Nitro+ and 16GB Dominator @3000. Mainly, the use of this pc would be 4K gaming (on a 4K native monitor) and heavy coding session (Deep Learning/Machine Learnng & Computer Vision operation mostly) Looking at the best i can get RN i stucked with the 3900x and im considering if this is worth the price or a 3800x is pretty much the same (in my country, the 3900x is priced around 450€ while the 3800x around 330€). Also, if i'd like to overclock, what should be a good motherboard candidate? Since i'm used to the Rampage V i'd like something similar but in the price range of 350€. Also, is the i7 9700k / i9 9900k an option? or this round AMD blew up everything? Thank you all for your suggests.

I can't work out if i should upgrade or not, the answer for people with i3's and i5's is a bit more simple, as in, just get Ryzen. But for myself and other's ive spoken to who also have haswell i7's, we are a bit unsure if it's worth it. IF i was going to get a Ryzen i would probably go for the 1600x, but that obviously involves a new MOBO and new RAM which i don't really want to deal with. The fact that i already have a fairly expensive platform, minus the CPU and GPU kinda puts me off replacing it. Basically i want to know if my 4790s is gonna hack it for another few years, more specifically if it will play nicely with a Vega when they drop ? I really want to give some love to red team this year but Ryzen seems a bit pointless and expensive for me. What do you reckon ??

So I've been thinking about putting my GTX 1080 ti to use. I'm currently rocking a 1080p monitor with 144hz. What do you guys think about the Acer Predator 27" at 1440p? Is it worth the money?

First of all, hello to everyone. Recently I changed a FX8350 for an I7 7700k and the MoBo that I bought was the z270-HD3P. There is no review about this MoBo on Internet, but I like Gigabyte and I like the price of it haha. Ok, but the problem is that a friend of mine said that this MoBo is a piece of crap, he didn't say any arguments but made me think that I must bought a better (more expensive) MoBo. What do you think? Thanks a lot and sorry about muy english

Hi guys so recently i got my hands on a bunch of computer parts and i built a desktop out of it, i need to know what would be the aprox price of it. Specs: Intel i7 - 920 (i overclocked it to 4.0Ghz no problem) Intel 160 GB 3/Gbs SSD P6T Deluxe v2 motherboard Ati Radeon HD 5870 1GB ( i got my hands on 3 of those but put in only one due to lack of PCI-E cables on the PSU) Corsair 600w PSU 8GB Kingston Ram Cooler Master Force 500 Case Windows 10 Pro Legit copy This computer was even able to run GTA V on lowest setting at 1080p with 60 fps. Other games like CS:GO and stuff run on ultra above 160 fps. So there is the rig. I got my hands on 2 E5 1620 Cpus 2 spare HD5870´s left so i am gonna muster up something with those in the mean time.

Hey I built my first ever PC back in August and I've loved it so far. So much in fact I think I want to make the jump to 1440p OR 1080p 144hz monitor. I want to upgrade to a 1070 from my current 1060 but I am worried my CPU will bottleneck. My build is below and note I will be getting more RAM and an SSD https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vGqhLD Thoughts? Any specific cards I should look at?

I currently have gtx 750ti, 1x8gb ddr3 (the black hyperx one), x4 860k with stock cooler (its REALLY LOUD like srsly loud under load), so i was wondering if coolermaster 212 evo is worth buying with this current config? cpu under load is running at 67 C and the stock cooler is so loud, sounds like a jet. And is upgrading to 16gb ddr3 worth?i might buy ryzen cpu in the near future (probably 1 year from now lol) and, you know, new motherboard with ddr4. I want to have 2x8gb because single channel is bad, everyone says that its bad, sometimes i have microstutters and im sure that its happening because of single channel, bcs my friend has same pc but with 2x4gb ram and he doesn't have microstutter in games like lol, dota and csgo. Sometimes even my pc stutters when i have bunch of word documents, few power point presentations and stuff like that, and ram isnt full, i maybe use 5-6gb. And ye im pretty sure that microstuttering is not happening because of cpu, temps are low when im playing league. any suggestions? here is the sound of my cooler, raise the volume a little bit because my mic not so good.. but just listen to the cooler

Is a i7-920 worth 20 $ ?

So I'm making the jump to x99. Picking up a 5820k, unfortunately budget is a little tight. Is the msi X99A Raider a decent mobo or should a sit on it for a month or so and get a different one ? Things to note: will be pairing with a aio water loop, probably the new nzxt line because shiny. But also open to suggestions there. All told with loop mobo and cpu budget should fit about 600$ usd.

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the best place to be posting this sorta thing, but I could not find anywhere else that was closest to this. I got a few Pokémon Cards I want to sell, and all I need to know is how much they are worth. If you have any questions about the cards, I can answer them... because they're right next to me. Anyway, here are the cards. (BTW, they are all from 1995 accept Snorlax, he is from 2007. This is just in case you can't see the date at the bottom that well.)

Hi. With the recent Coffee Lake and Ryzen release, I've wondered if I should upgrade my now aging i7 4770 (It´s paired with a 1070 and 16Gb of generic 1333Mhz Ram). But every time I'm looking for new parts for the build I always get to the same question: WHY? I mean, productivity wise, It's not affecting my workflow in any way, as I mainly use Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator and it works fine with anything I throw at it (or maybe i just don't know better) , and with gaming, it´s paired with a 1440p monitor, which means most of the time, there is gonna be a GPU bottleneck, and the CPU is just gonna sit there waiting for information. Yet, I still wanna upgrade every time I see a benchmark video (knowing that I really don't have the need) Why you guys think that is? Have you been in a similar situation?

Hi everyone, I'm looking into buying an almost new (open box) of a 2016 MacBook pro 15" with touch bar. (256gb config) I can get a really good price on it (still to be confirmed). What would be the maximum you would pay for this MacBook. General opinions. And how much do you think in "windows laptop value" is the MacBook pro 2016 worth. don't hesitate to give really low prices. I'm just curious to know what this forum think of the "true" worth of a 15" MacBook pro.
