Hey, I'm back again and with another problem, I'm trying to work out how to move my word, PowerPoint basically everything inside of Microsoft 365 office etc... Obviously standing in my way is windows 10 and it's 'clever' error codes reading: We couldnt move word. Error code 0x80073d0b. I've looked online for solutions and so far I've disabled EFS, NTFS and I reset Microsoft store. My problem now is that it is still happening. So now I'm trying to get some extra help to solving this issue. Many thanks, Fire

So everything was working fine until today. For some reason I can't print a Word file anymore, atleast I can't print most files. Some random Word files on my desktop can be printed. But even a month old backup of the files I already printed can't be printed anymore. Yet PDF works like without any problems still. I tried restarting the pc and also tried uninstalling and installing Microsoft Office. Not sure what else to do. Someone please help me. PS: Idk if this is the right place to post this, forgive me if I am wrong Edit: Forgot to mention that Word file printing goes to the job list and clears immediately as if it was done printing

do anyone know how code a word document into a html file?

I am currently archiving and sorting old files. I often have files twice, one in PDF format, one in Word format (.docx). It is the result of writing a document in word, but sharing it later on via E-Mail and creating a PDF version for that. I won´t be editing nearly any of the documents, so is there any benefit in keeping the Word Version?

Hello. I have a problem: I am running Win10 and MS Word 2019, and when I select a font or a font theme, the letters are jagged and look like they are from WinXP. However, when I type, the fonts are smoothed like they should be because I have cleartype & font smoothing enabled! Please help.

I have documents with a lot of content that use collapsible headings. I now have colleagues with Macs who are unable to expand any headings (no idea why the Mac edition of Word is missing this feature!) and therefore access any of the document's content. If I expand all headings before saving the document they're collapsed when opening it. What's the easiest way to remove the collapsible headings without loosing any content? Ideally I'd also like an alternative that keeps navigating the document manageable...

Hey guys, I have an assignment where I have to copy and paste answers into an expand and collapse thing in Microsoft word. Just to clarify, by expand and collapse I mean that little arrow that when you click it, the text collapses. When I paste answers in, the expand/collapse arrow moves and I can’t collapse my answer. How can I paste stuff in so that the arrow doesn’t move below my pasted content?

I'm working on a project, but I'm having issue with something that i had previously overlooked. I have a computer with a 4 byte word size, and i want to store values in an sram module, in big endian format. Problem is, SRAM chips only support byte-addressing as far as i know (only one byte can be accessed and written/read from at any given step) The particular chip i am looking at is this http://www.mouser.com/Search/m_ProductDetail.aspx?Alliance-Memory%2fAS6C4008-55PCN%2f&qs=sGAEpiMZZMt9mBA6nIyysPeGHDtAZQ%2bHv1ODopTep98%3d I need a through-hole design, and i also need a reasonable capacity (over 1mbit), while using a parallel interface( not serial SRAM) I've come up with several potential solutions, but they all have unacceptable drawbacks. - run the ram clock at 4x the speed of the rest of the circuit, and perform additions on the address 3 times. Problem is i would need a full adder for those calculations on the memory address, which would be too expensive, not to mention the latency of the SRAM chips would require stalling the pipeline on the processor, which would cripple performance (over 200ns latency, worse than DRAM) - I could use 4 banks of SRAM, with information cloned on all banks. That would be expensive, and i would still need an adder for address calculations. Any easy way to do this?

Word lags on laptop while on battery power
Zandor300 posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Hi, I'm having an anoying problem with my laptop while its on battery. Word starts lagging really bad. It works fine when I plug it in and lag goes away instantly. I've looked in my power saving settings but wasn't able to find anything. Also, other Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel) run just fine without any lag. Running Office 2016. It's an Asus GL502VM-FY536T which has a GTX 1060 and an i7 7700HQ along with 16 GB DDR4 SODIMM. No overclock whatsoever. I hope somebody knows a solution because this problem is very annoying. Kind regards, Zandor Smith -
Hello everyone I recently noticed that my fans started to ramp up when using word, and even when I was doing nothing on it, so I went in the task manager and saw that word was using 80% cpu usage on my i5 6600k OC at 4.4GHz ! Even weirder, the more pixels word is using, the more cpu it will use Here's different window placement with their cpu usage Fullscreen 4k Corner 4k Fullscreen 1080p (second monitor) Corner 1080p Minimized, either monitor Does anyone already had this problem? Note : the document opened was 13 pages long, with 2700 words

Hey all I need some help! I work for a police agency where we make daily assignments and attendance sheets for Monday to Friday. When we make them we normally do it one month in advance. My question is how can I make a formula in word that will let me print out the whole month of September without having to manually type in the day month and year like this "Friday August 11, 2017". I attached a stripped version of what it looks like without any personal and sensitive info. If anyone can help me out or has any questions feel free to post. -Seemore Daily Attendance test 2.docx

I got a few problems with word lately, but that doesn't matter anymore. I've switched from 2007 to 2016. Now I'm getting an error whenever I try to open a downloaded document. Unblocking the file will solve the issue. I've found and executed a program that unblocks every file in a specific folder with success. The only issue now is that all new downloaded files are still blocked. Is there a way to turn the function off? I'm using Windows 10 Home, so gpedit is a no-go. I've also tried setting Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments\SaveZoneInformation to 1, but that doesn't work either...

Hi Everyone New here but just wanted to get people opinions on a small business workstation build. If anyone has any alternatives or better ideas I would love to hear them! Not built something for this use before so if anyone has and has some insight that would help a lot! What will be the main use? Main use for this PC will be every day office tasks, a lot of spreadsheets and document writing, along with email and web browsing. It will also be used for CAD using autodesk inventor and content creation using Inkscape, gimp, photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and premiere pro. Basically it needs to do everything at a reasonable pace but will never be used for gaming. Budget: I would like to keep this sub £2500 (4220 CAD according to DDG) The Monitor: This is one thing I'm really not sure on, I have gone with 27" 1440 as I've heard that unless you go 40" with 4k then stuff like spreadsheets and document writing can become hard on the eyes. Also any video editing will be 1080 (along with 2k go pro and scaled down) for the foreseeable. 100%sRGB is good, don't really want to splash out for 100% Adobe RGB, unless you disagree with this and its more useful than I realise? MOBO: ASrock X370 TaiChi CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 (Looking for a 3.8 - 3.9ghz overclock if stable) BOOT DRIVE: 250gb Samsung 960 EVO PCIe M.2 STORAGE: 1TB Samsung 850 EVO SATAIII GPU: Sapphire RX580 Pulse 8GB RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4 Vengeance 3000mhz PSU: 650w EVGA G3 Modular CASE: BeQuiet! Pure Base 600 Mid COOLING: BeQuiet! 280mm silent AIO w/ Arctic MX-4 Thermal MONITOR: 27" Asus MX27AQ OS: Windows 10 Pro Thanks for any help!

Hi everyone, I am go to studie economics in Switzerland next month, a part from that i do some video editing (mostly in Full-HD and more simple stuff) for some companys to gain a little bit of cash. So i need a new laptop because my Surface Pro 4 is really struggling, and the battery is at 0% after 5hours. And im not really satisfied with this laptop after two years so no more Surface Pro in my life. What i need: -.Enough Power for simple video editing -Long Battery in Office Work: min. 7h-10h per day -13inch not more -a Bright Display to work outdoor -USB-C (even better with Thunderbolt 3) -Future Proof for the next 3 to 5 years -Good keyboard (the Butterfly Keyboard is okay for me but not the best) - A Display with good resolution min. 1440p -Easy Log in with Something like Windows Hello or Fingerprint scanner -And not thick -Good Design (because in Switzerland it´s like 80% have MacBook and 20% a Surface, so you really and outsider is not one of them) -Preference for MacBooks (not the Air) or Surface (not the Pro) Devices and no Huawei Devices (or all kind of Laptops who copy the design of a Mac, because i found that stupid) -Eventually enough power to play sometimes a game of CS GO a 60fps low resolution (just for fun not competition) -My Budget: 1300€ or 1.461 USD (You have to know that i can get as a Student in Switzerland the devices much cheaper, as example an device who cost 2000€ (2248USD) i can get it for 1600€ (1748USD) 748 That´s all I hope my english is not to Bad and i thank everyone for the answers

So I have been writing/refining my resume for the last several weeks. And it’s finally done. I am really happy with it. Thank heavens! Anyways, it was a bigger task than expected because I didn’t want to pay for MS Office. So I used Libre Office instead. At first it was absolute torture. The menus are all over the place. The toolbars don’t make sense. And the worst part is I still can’t figure out why images have black backgrounds instead of « no background ». Fortunately, it’s easy to play with the images in Google Docs then paste them to Libre Office. I know I sound like a total noob LOL. And then I remember that Word was never that great. It was also a headache! And it’s like: “why do Word programs suck?”. So I’m just wondering if LinusTechTips would like to answer my question in a funny/informative way.

I’m currently working on building a workstation which is a whole other matter ? but I’m looking for a small laptop roughly £300ish that just needs to run word, download files and surf the web for when I’m in class. Any recommendations? I seem to see a lot about the surface go but this laptop needs only basic features as it’s almost exclusively for notes. I would prefer it to be slim and stylish with small bezels.

Hi guys, So when you build a PC you need to install windows correct? If I buy a Windows 10 Home edition USB like this - (https://www.pbtech.com/product/OSYMST3701/Microsoft-Windows-Home-10-32-bit64-bit-English-USB) will the basic microsoft applications come with it? Word, Excel etc. Thanks in advance!

I have a Dell XPS 15 9560, and for almost a month now, when I try to use word, it keeps going black every few seconds. (I don't know if this is an issue related to this or not, but when gaming on my laptop, after about 10-15 minutes of playing Rocket League, it starts to over heat then.) Over the course of this month, I've tried cleaning out the vents, updating the drivers, even reapplying thermal paste to see if that would do the trick. The only things I haven't done that I could think of doing is uninstalling Office (I bought a code for it) or reinstall Windows, but other than that, I don't know what else to doing over this.
