Hello, So i've had connectivity problems with various types of wireless headphones for a long time. The issues are different from time to time but the headphones have all been tried on different computers where they work flawlessly. So my conclusion is that the problem is somewhere in my computer. I've tried re-installing the whole computer and updated bios, drivers and everything there is to do in the software. Now to the issues i am experiencing: If the headset is not receiving any output like for example music for any longer than 10 sec the headset disconnects. If i restart or turn of the computer the headset disconnects If i charge the headset the headset disconnects In between Youtube videos the headset disconnects. To connect it again i have to reinsert the USB device that came with the headset. Headsets: Razer Kraken V3 pro Logitech G935 Motherboard: Asus rog strix b450-f gaming So to the question, is it possible that the sundboard in my motherboard is broken or something like that? Full PC parts list: CPU: amd ryzen 7 3800x GPU: asus rog stri 2060 super RAM: corsair 3200MHz 32 gigs CL16 OS: Windows 11

Almost every Steelseries Arctis series headphone is probably going to break at this one point, specifically if you wear one ear-cup off of your ear to talk to the people around you. Has it happened to you? I wasnt sure if I should post this to Peripherals, or Audio, etc. Googling: "steelseries headphones break". Results below I'm amazed it's not a class action lawsuit yet. I feel like it should be. I am not personally affected (yet) and I dont have the following to organize one. (EDIT: I DONT CARE ABOUT A LAWSUIT, i just wanna talk about the broken headphones.) I have the grandpa of these headphones, the Steelseries H Wireless, and I'm 8 years in on it. Bought it when radioshack was going out of business for half price. They've only just started to crack (and i wear them off one ear literally nearly all the time). When mine break, I was really hoping to upgrade to a newer SS headset, but not if this is constantly happening. And obviously they're not going to fix it until someone calls them out on it. (Linus pls!) They have the gall to charge up to $350 US for their top of the line ones, but I feel like this affects almost all Arctis designs? Seems especially to affect the most expensive one? (Or people who bought the most expensive one are more likely to complain online). From everything I've heard, the price is worth it, but not if they're gonna break. I think it's pretty messed up. I tweeted about it but have no followers, so I thought I'd post here too. I know it prob wont change, but here's me giving it a shot. I think they need to be called out. I think it'd be a good video, but I just wanted to talk about it.

Thats right, yet another "which headphones should I buy" thread. I currently have a set of Plantronics Gamescom 777s that I absolutely love, they have huge cups that are incredibly comfy, I put them on and my (somewhat large) ears barely scrape the edges, its magnificent. Sadly they're now getting a bit long in the tooth (probably 7 or 8 years old); the mic is broken and I now have a cat who loves to play with the cable. So, I've been looking around for a new wireless set but I can't seem to find any that have cups that big. The only ones Ive seen that look like they might be close are the Corsair Void headphones (and even then I'm not 100% sure) but I'd prefer non-gaming pair tbh. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd prefer not to spend more than $200-$250 if I can avoid it. Thanks very much.

Ok so yesterday someone rang me on my phone and my headphones switched over to it even though I was using them on my pc in Overwatch at the time, since then my computer refuses to notice it has Bluetooth, when I go into the Bluetooth settings there is no turn on or off setting, in device manager its shows up but says it is not connected, ive rebooted my be, troubleshooted through device manager, reinstalled my drivers. The WiFi aspect of the adaptor as its built into my motherboard is fine (asus z270G) but this Bluetooth is doing my head in. Any ideas?

I have a hyper x cloud stinger, which is quite good but I would like something wireless. I just had all the wires on my desk. I do have a dedicated microphone so I don't need anything with a mic in it. Thaaanks

So I currently have Corsair void pro’s which use a USB stick for the connection. For instances where I want to play ps4 on my setup while also watching live-streams on my PC, is there a way to split the connections between the two? I’ve been using the ps4 stream app on pc but the image quality and latency gets old.

Hello! I would like to walk around my flat with headphones on and listen to music. Currently I have wireless headphones, but they don't reach very far (dongle on PC) My PC is on one side of the flat and my living room on the other... Sometimes, if I turn my head correctly, they do work... I have excellent WiFi coverage. Are there some kind of WiFi connected headphones (so via TCP/IP or whatever ^^ and not a dongle)?? Or anything similar, so I can listen to music anywhere in my flat from my PC (or home server)?? Thanks in advance!!

Hi, I’m am currently in the process of deciding on new headphones. Recently my beats broke (Yea I know beats are overpriced but at the time I bought them I really had no idea about how bad they actually are) and my gaming headset is falling apart. So now I am looking for a good pair of headphones that I can both listen to music with at home and in public as well as game with. After some basic research of the current headphone market I have narrowed my options down to 3 pairs: Audio-Technica ath-m50x (BT or wired), Bose qc35 ii wireless, and sennheiser pxc550 wireless. There is one major thing that I am wondering about that may help rule out the Bluetooth headphones. I understand that the Bluetooth wireless headphones will have a high latency which I cannot have for gaming. However, I would be willing to plug in a 3.5mm aux cable when I game if that would reduce the latency significantly. Please if u know anything about this help me out or if u have any suggestions for me share them, Thanks!

Hey, I don't suppose anyone here knows of any good replacement mesh ear cups for the Sony WH-CH700N wireless headphones? I love my headphones to death however after prolonged use, especially in hot weather or more humid/sweaty conditions, the ear pads/cups get super stinky, sweaty and wet and it's really uncomfortable. I don't want to get new headphones just for this issue since like I say I adore them otherwise but if there is any way I could change out the stock faux leather/plastic ear pads for some breathable mesh/fabric ones that would be amazing! Hi, I was wondering if there is some way I can connect my radio frequency headphones (cloud flight) to my phone wirelessly. Can I use USB to jack adapter and just plug the dongle there or do I need anything special.

Hey guys, What I'm trying to do is use a pair of wireless headphones with a built in mic(some kind of gaming headset probably). However, I would like it to be able to work across all my devices with a functioning mic. Also, I'd like it to just work, without having to unplug stuff and plug stuff back in. Like a USB dongle. So perhaps a DAC is needed. The audio doesn't need to be mixed. If I can switch from source to source that works too. I don't know much about audio equipment so any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello, I am looking on the market for a -gaming- wireless headphones with 7.1 surround sound (for fps games). I don't need a mic as I am getting a blue yeti. I want them to last a long time so I would prefer a durable one. I am willing to spend upwards of ~$300. Audio quality and the materials it is made out of are very important to me. Does anyone have any suggestions?

So I have a need for a wireless headphone with a range of 15-20 feet. I brought a wireless bluetooth sennheiser earlier, but the ear cups were too small and they cut out at about 10-11 feet. So just asking if anyone here has some recommendations for some decent wireless over the ear headphones (big comfortable ear cups are a plus) and a method to boost the wireless signal to 15-20 feet if required. Thanks.

Ok so i feel old and silly for asking this... I have an NZXT puck on my case and from them im hanging my bluetooth headphones will this affect the battery ??? Not sure if it matters but its the Sennheiser 4.50 BTNC.

Hello all, Long time watcher - first time poster. I'm in the process of upgrading my audio gear and I've just bought the AKG K612's for my main @ desk usage, however I'm now after a decent set of wireless cans to use from bed. I'm having a really hard time finding something that meets my requirements though and I'm hoping someone can help. I will be looking to use the wireless cans primarily with my PC (with a external DAC/AMP) for playing more casual/controller friendly games from bed (racing, fighters etc) and watching movies from an Android media player. They will also be connected to a PS3 for BluRay's that I've yet to move to the WSE2012 box. Ideally it would need to have an optical input as the Android box doesn't do analogue audio (but I can work around it) and as these are going to be used for late night consumption closed would be best. Budget would be around £200 ($288 current ex.rate) I've found plenty of headsets that meet the requirements (such as the Turtle Beach Elite 800) but given that headsets tend to be a bit c**p VS headphones I was wondering what was out there in terms of proper cans. So far I've only been able to find are Sennheiser units such as the RS175 or RS120 (don't like the latter though as they appear to be RF as opposed to 2.4Ghz), Anyone have any other suggestions or experience with the sets above? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve.

Hi everyone! I'm currently studying the possibility of buying some wireless headphones to watch TV in the late evening without disturbing half the house with my surround system. My current system comprises of a TV connected to an Android TV box via HDMI. The TV is them connected to a 5.1 Home Cinema/DVD player system via SPDIF. Any suggestions for a pair of cans in the range of €100 which would give me decent sound quality, connectivity possibility? And, what would be, in your opinion, the best way to connect the headphones to the system? Thanks in advance!

Hello I'm looking to get some nice new wireless headphones. Hopefully with a changing station/dock off some sort. But I'm as useless as a brain dead cabbage when is comes to audio tech. I have a budget of around £100 and I have no clue what to look for, what brands are good, etc I'm only going to use them with my computer so don't think range is going to be an issue. If you know any good headphones that I should check out or even can point me in the right direction. It would really help

Hello everyone! Can someone explain me, please. Last week i have bought Sony MDR-RF810R wireless headphones (on the bottom of the transmitter it said TMR not MDR, i don't know why). I'm using them with my PC for listening music mostly and i notice something. In most songs i experience drop in the vocals when the bass is louder or i lose volume in general when theres some louder part in the track (something like auto volume control). Not in all songs, but in most of it. I don't know why. I'm using WMP12 but tryed several other players - same problem. Youtube - same problem, but if i played the video at the lowest quality the sound is terrible, but there are no drops in the volume. Tryed to reset the soundcard settings to default, switched off the EQ, turning off THX, but the problem is there. When i connect my Galaxy S earphones to the PC there is not such problem with the sound. Same with my pc speakers - no problem. Then i connect the Sony headphones to my Galaxy S - excelent sound, a little low, but no drops. When i connected them to my wife's Xperia P the problem is back - same as with my PC. If u are wondering the song is the same on the two phones and the PC when i tested the headphones. So what's the problem and can i solve it. I want to listen the music in the way they created it to be, not with this auto voluming thing... or auto corecting frequencies... or something like that, don't know what to tell it. Please if someone know how to fix it? Thanks! P.S. Sorry for my bad english.
