Hello, guys. I am looking for opinions and advice for my case. Yesterday literally, after I asked my desktop to restart, it stopped booting on Windows. I can't go to safe mode, and the Windows logo doesn't even appear on my screen. After troubleshooting it, here is the following statstatussing Windows 10 USB Recovery Tool: System Restore point for 3 days ago = Operation Failed, couldn't restore, and this is the only one available. Uninstall recent Windows Updates and Features, operation failed for both options. I went through the whole format process and recreate Windows Boot Loader UEFI using BCEDIT via prompt, assign a new letter for the volume 2 100MB partition and etc. Still, Windows doesn't boot. My M.2 970 Plus 1TB looks all right, tho. I could see the Windows 10 installation on it, my user login, the documents folder with files, games installed and etc. At this moment, I am using my old 970 Evo 500GB. What are my option since I want to save at least my documents folder and files? Is there any other option to make Windows 10 Boot on my 970 Evo Plus? Is my recovery system on Volume 1 D: 500Mb, NTFS? Okay sooooo, figured I would explain everything to understand history of my computerfrom the start as my local tech guy cleary doesn't know enough for the situation of my computer (this is all in a 6 week time frame since this started happening to my computer) Orignally I would turn on my computer and sometimes it would go into the wrong boot device screen. (I would have to turn off and than on, go into bios than load optimize defaults and would always than work) and than sometimes my computer would only turn on for split second than off again. I would leave it for 5 mins and than would power on and I would more often than not I would have to go into bios and load optimized defaults. But than it just never let me boot into windows againand I tried every youtube tutorial out. So than I took it to my local tech guy the guy that installed my 5900x cpu for me like 10 months (important info for later btw) and told him what was happening and he immediately was like oh yep your windows has gone glitchy/faulty you are going to have to hard wipe your ssd and reinstall windows. I was pretty annoyed as this meant I would have to lose a shit ton of footage but my computer would be fixed atleast. So i wiped my ssd from bios and reinstalled windows from usb and when I turned on pc it worked and I didnt have to do the load optimized defaults so I was happy. So once logged in I thought I would turn of my pc and see if it would turn on straight away and ofcourse it turns on for a split second exactly like before and my heart sinks as I had now realised I had lost all the footage for nothing. I take it back to him and he mentions nothing about getting me to hard wipe my pc not even a sorry and tells me that it must be because my 5900x is too beefy for my motherboard as its only kinda compatiable? Aorus b450 pro wifi. He than tells me I need to get anew motherboard so I buy one of him and he puts its in for a price. And now the pc is atleast turning on flawlessy but still geting the boot device not detected and would have to go back to the load optimized defaults for windows to work. Fastforwad to today 5 days after the new motherboard and my pc turns off randomly while on and wont turn back on but my motherboard lights are on and I cant take it back to him as I have just got covid (i have had great luck recently I know) I also don't really want to take it back to him (and cant fkr the next 5 days till covid is gone) and I reallly dont want to give him more money to fix it when he made me factory reset my ssd and buy a new motherboard and its still not working ahhaah (ps I will be active in this forum and happy to give any more further detail pictures etc as I cant really do anything for the next few days without a pc and covid ahahah)

I've recently built a 2nd Gen Ryzen PC, with some new parts and some left over from an old system. From the old system came a 2TB mechanical HDD that is failing. It is 100% active all the time, but frequently hangs or simply takes forever to browse or transfer any files, so I'm pretty sure it is on the way out. When I remove that HDD however, I can't boot my machine into Windows, even though my current install of Windows 10 Pro is on my 500GB NVME SSD. It works fine in general once I am able to boot into Windows and is super fast, but it can't boot to that SSD directly for some reason. The 2TB HDD that is failing is from my old setup and still has an installation of Windows 7 on it. So when it is working normally I get given the option of booting into either Windows 7 or 10. Once Windows 10 is selected, booting works fine and is super fast, but without the HDD plugged in, it won't give me any options to boot to the SSD. When I try to use my recovery SSD, the startup repair is unable to do anything and I have tried one round of bootrec fixes to no avail. It seems like the boot record of some kind is actually housed on the mechanical HDD and I really need that to change somehow, preferably without needing to use that HDD as it is painfully slow to complete any task and could die at any minute.Please help, what can I do in this instance?

I was turning off PC and i accidentally clicked on restart. We were in a rush so, friend held the power button down just to make it shutdown fast. And now i have this issue Log file C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt
