Hi everyone, I have tried to troubleshoot my rather slow WiFi connection and I tracked it down to my WiFi adapter falling back to 802.11a while my setup is 802.11ac capable (as I understand it). I am running a desktop Win10 x64 PC with an ASUS PCE-AX58BT WiFi adapter, updated driver to last version from ASUS website. Any guidance for why and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated! Here is the information I can already provide (sorry my system is in French, feel free to ask if you need translation). Problem: Just recently my wife's pc started having connectivity issues, we can connect to our WIFI but cant get online. Only device in the house with this issue, so I've ruled out the router. The windows troubleshooter wasn't able to find the problem either. I've already updated drivers & BIOS, purged the DNS cache, disabled the firewall & restarted it about 20 times, I'm at a loss with this one. Any help would be appreciated! I'm trying to make a decision. Which Router would be best for me. The Asus RT-AC86U or the Asus RT-AX86U? Stream 4K wirelessly and game wired on the PS4 Pro. Mobile is a IPhone 11 and I'm the only client. Is the extra € 100 necessary or is it future proof? Sorry for my bad English

Hello all, I've been having this issue for a while, but have not found an answer from my own troubleshooting, so I come to you. To start, I have a DSL bonded modem connection totaling around 75 Mbps down, and 15 Mbps up. I have an ASUS AC3100 Router as my home access point. Now, the question/issue. Since the 2.4 Ghz band is able to total 54 Mbps of service I should be able to (more or less) "max out" the speed of my 2.4Ghz Wifi, and then get my full 75 Mbps speeds on my 5Ghz wifi network, BUT I am not seeing this. The largest speed that I have saw on my 2.4 network is only 35 Mbps, or around half of the total speed I can recieve (wether on a weird or 5G connection). Interference asside, as I have removed all of the factors I can in my testing, it does not change. Why is this happening? And how do I fix it? Thank You!

Hi, I have problem that just appeared few days ago. When I turn hotspot in windows on, It works perfectly on my phone but internet doesn't work on desktop at the same time. When I turn hotspot off, internet on desktop works again. Where can the issue be? It worked perfectly few days ago and I didn't change or install anything. The only thing I do to turn my hotspot on is by a macro, because of an issue with asus wifi card ax200 160mhz -> from this video Thanks for helping

Hello I have recently gotten a Lenovo Legion 5 and can't get it to connect to my WIFI 5GHz ssid, but it will connect to the one we have set up at work, I have tried to update the nic drivers and restarted the router, my phone and many other devices connect fine.

//Friendly For Newbies Hello Everyone, If anyone is facing an issue with Tenda AC-10 Gigabit Routers, going into a boot loop when both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz SSID are set to the same name( at least I faced the issue, where you have to just reset it ) and you are on version 15.03.06.45 of firmware version, which for the most regions is the latest version of the router. I would suggest going into advanced options and upgrade it manually to version 15.03.06.46. I got this from Tenda Russia - Product support Website for Tenda AC 10 ( for the same model ), where it is the first file, you can download it from here. If your original language for the router is English, after upgrading it will remain the same - English. Or whatever the language you had originally. Only it may change upon resetting the router ( not tested ). The language doesn't change automatically to Russian. I have tested the firmware yesterday, so far no other issues at all. I have also attached the files, in case Tenda removes it sometime later, you can download any one of those. One is a zip file which you have to extract, which you will get on the website, Other is an extracted file ( about the same size ) which you have to flash to the router via the router firmware upgrade page To Upgrade go to tendawifi.com or tendawifi.com/main.html or 192.168.0.1 ( only if your Local Default IP Is ), enter your Router login Password ( If you don't know, you can always reset it by holding the reset button on the router with a paperclip for 15 seconds, just check your ISP settings, ( I'm Not responsible for its loss) ). Navigate to System Settings --> Firmware Upgrade --> Local Upgrade --> Select File which you downloaded. Note - Always Use LAN Cable to upload firmware to the router for router safety reasons. Caution - Do not manually restart/unplug router while upgrading. Nor turn off your computer/laptop. ( Power Blackouts may turn it into crap ). It takes around 120 seconds or 2 minutes for an upgrade.
