I'm trying to use the A-RGB in my Arctic Liquid Freezer II AIO 280mm (latest revision), but my motherboard (MSI B450 Tomahawk Max) doesn't have any A-RGB headers. I bought this A-RGB controller: (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H241TFT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and tried connecting the AIO 3-pin female connector to the controller's male 3-pin connector, and one of the fans lit up but not the other. So I hooked up a micro-USB cable to the controller and to my PC, installed the A-RGB Small Controller firmware (https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/rgb-accessories/argb-led-small-controller/) and followed the steps (including connecting the micro-USB cable; and the app said that the firmware was updated successfully), and installed MasterPlus (https://landing.coolermaster.com/faq/install-the-cooler-master-software-in-windows/), and restarted my computer. I also have SignalRGB installed for other RGB components and peripherals, and made sure to completely turn it off so that I would be able to open MasterPlus. However, only one of the fans light up still. Does anyone else have a similar setup as I do and has been able to use the A-RGB in both fans successfully? Thanks.

I have a Corsair H115i AIO water cooler. It’s the original one with no RGB that came out a few years back (link here for reference). It’s an older model before this new 1200 socket type came out and therefore doesn’t specifically indicate compatibility with the 1200 socket type. Does anyone know if 1151 compatible CPU coolers will also work for 1200 sockets or does it require an upgrade?

I wish to buy an AIO water cooler for my XFX R9 390X 8GB double dissipation graphics card. But I don't know which exact model I have. Looking at the EKWB water cooler website, they provide the following options (see picture). The other picture is the picture of the tag on the back of the gpu. Could someone help me identify which of the options on the ekwb site, is applicable to my card?

I built a trash water cooler to cool my FX 6300, my question is: does it make any difference in the direction of water circulation? Currently it looks like this: Reservoir (pot of mayonnaise) -> radiator -> CPU Block -> back to the reservoir

Hello, I'm planning to buy a water cooler for my Ryzen 9 5900x, I was thinking of buying this one (https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-liquid-coolers/masterliquid-ml120l-v2-rgb/) My case is a Masterbox MB600L V1 (https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/legacy-products/cases/masterbox-mb600l/#specifications) I want to know if it will fit my case and if it will be enough to cool my cpu. I don't do too much intensive tasks on my computer outside of rendering premiere pro videos on occasion, but mostly gaming CSGO, APEX, LEAGUE OF LEGENDS. Thanks for the help

So as the title says I have some noise coming from my AIO and im pretty sure its air bubbles cause the sound completely disappears when I lay the case down on it's side. I've mounted the radiator in the front with the tubes at the bottom. Whats the best way to remove the air bubbles? I've tried placing a book under the case so it kinda tilted, but after 4 hours the noise from the air bubbles is still there.

Hey everyone, I've always wandered how we waste energy on cooling down our systems. Our set of home appliances are not really energy efficient if observed as a whole. We have fridges to cool down food and owens to heat it up. Our fridges cool stuff down by pumping heat out of the main cabinet into a big radiator in the back of the fridge. We also cool down our homes through AC with the same principle. We pump heat out of our rooms to a radiator outside that would release the heat to the atmosphere. But again we heat water up for our showers using electricity or some sort of gas. So, we basically cool some things down and heat others up without really connecting these devices. I don't know how domestic water systems work on other parts, but here most of our homes have its own reservoir. Most of the time hidden in the ceiling or up in roof. These reservoirs store water coming from the street and they are installed high. When we open a fawcett the water runs from the reservoir through gravity. When I had big aquariums I used a double serpentine system to exchange heat from the water inside the aquarium to my domestic pipe system, to cool down the water in the aquarium that was heated up because of the intense lights. The double serpentine system is nothing more than two independent serpentine (like a coil) loops welded to each other in a way that would exchange heat by induction. The fluid in these loops never get in contact with each other directly. Normally what we do with our custom water cooled loops is just to pump heat into our rooms and overload our room's AC, finally releasing it to the environment after that. So, why couldn't we use the same process I used for my aquariums to cool down my computer? Coolant would flow trough one loop a double serpentine and at the same time room temperature water would flow through the other loop. The water would return to the reservoir, maybe a little tiny bit warmer than it came and no water would be wasted. I doubt that we could heat up a water reservoir using heat from a computer, that is not what I am proposing here. Probably the reservoir won't keep the heat and it would transmit the heat to the environment. But I do believe on the benefits of such idea, you would get a fanless, radiator less water cooled system, and you wouldn't be pumping heat into your room and overloading your AC unit. Wouldn't be that much more efficient? Cheers, Marcelo

Looking for a CPU cooler that allows me to decently overclock my 4690k. Was looking at either a Corsair Hydro Series H55 or a Phanteks PH-TC14PE to fit in my Phantom 410 case. Any opinions or recommendations would help (£60 budget)

Hello guys...I'm new to the Community here... I was wondering if anyone knew if the Asus gtx 1080 turbo (90yv09s0-m0na00) was compatible with the EVGA GTX 1080/1070 Hybrid Waterblock Cooler (400-HY-5188-B1) Thanks for all the help!

Hi, I have a second hand Corsair H80i I bought off someone on Gumtree, it did say in the description the LED didn't work, so I am not complaining. However, it would be nice if I could get it working. When I first got it, it didn't turn on AT ALL, now it has suddenly turned on green, but when I try it with any other colour it doesn't work. I have taken off the plastic cover on the pump block, and I couldn't see any obvious disconnections between the LED panel and the PCB, however I do not know what I am doing, so it is very possible I missed something. Is there anything obvious that would stand out when I open it up, and if so is it easy to fix, as getting it to change colour would be nice to go with the rest of the LEDs in my case. Thanks

UPDATE: So its pretty clear ill just have to replace my cooler... Im considering the Dark Rock 3, how would that do? Would it perform as good as the H100i? If not, any other recommendations? I have a budget of no more than $65. My GTX H100i water cooler had been working fine until just this morning, I went into the BIOS and noticed that my CPU was at like 50 degrees! and it normally idles at 20! The tubes are getting really warm, but the radiator fans are still blowing cold air. If i try to stress test, then i get a bluescreen in about 2 seconds to prevent my CPU from bursting into flames (around 90 degrees). I'm pretty sure the pump is working properly, because corsair link says it is at 3000 "rpms", and i hear it. The fans are on max, and I dont know how the block would have become improperly seated overnight. I just cant seem to understand why its not working! PS: before my water cooler started failing, I had my CPU overclocked to 4.6GHz, and it had been that way for weeks without problems, but now i have it at 1GHz so that it wont overheat System Specs: CPU: i7 6700k GPU: GTX 960 4GB Mobo: MSI Z170A CPU Cooler: Corsair GTX H100i RAM: 8GB of something idk what brand

Hey LTT! So, I had a Raijintek Triton AIO CPU cooler. It worked great for over a year, ran my CPU at 27 degrees. It started to crack and leak, and I had to immediately remove it because it spilled a VERY alarming amount of water onto my motherboard. Luckily my motherboard survived thanks to the fact that it's an UltraDurable motherboard. Anyway, Raijintek sent me a replacement. I'm not stupid, so I am not going to put another raijintek cooler in my PC. What cooler should I get? I want an AIO cooler so I don't have to mess with it or refill it. Yes, I know the corsair ones are great and all, but they're just black and boring. The Raijintek Triton matched my green build, at least. I am interested in the NZXT Kraken because they're LED. Are those any good? Which other coolers are good options? Thanks for reading, I hope you have some recommendations

Hello Everyone, I am planning on building a PC and unfortunately I encountered a Problem . I have a PC Case (link given below) which supports 120mm radiator at stop and 240mm radiator at the side. I plan on using the Corsair H100i V2 (link given below). As this radiator wont fit on top part of PC. I will have to install it on the side. Unfortunately there are three RGB fans on the side of the PC Case which I really dont want to move to the top , so is there a way to mount the radiator on top on RGB fans so I dont have to move my rgb fans to the top . Help would be appreciated. Hey, I'm planning to upgrade my current pc made for gaming (specs below), since the only change I've done in years was the GPU and the Power Suply. I play in a 21:9 2560x1080 monitor. Gigabyte GA-Z77M i5 3750K 1x GTX 970 G1 Gaming 16GB Ram (4x 4GB DDR3) 2x HDD (1x 1TB and 1x 500GB) Cougar GX 800w The upgrades I would like some help with: i7-7700K ($345.51 on Amazon) i5 6600K ($219.99 on Amazon) ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero ($225.15 on Amazon) Corsair Hydro Series H100i ($119.99 on Amazon) That's what the options I have so far, I would like some help with what is worth to get. Any new suggestions are welcome.

Hi Myidea is to change the tubes on an aio cooler like a Corsair h105 and add a reservoir. Is it even possible to remove the tubes and change them with clear ones? Any experience either with changing tubes or adding a reservoir? May the pump handle more water from the reservoir? And can you change the normal tubes with hard tubes? Greetings

My Silverstone TD02-LITE leaked and destroyed my $218 ASUS Maximus VIII Hero motherboard. ASUS wont RMA and Silverstone will RMA but with a refurbed TD02-LITE. So I have had to buy another MOBO and bought a ASUS Z170-A which seems to be working well. I thought at first that I had lost my i7 6700 but after remounting it twice it came to life. I dont trust liquid AIO coolers anymore. SO I have a Noctua NH-D15. It seems to do well but not as well as a liquid cooler overclocking. Yes, I have remounted it twice and it seems to be the same each time. I have read reviews on many of the AIO coolers and they all have had leaks reported. I guess its just luck whether you get a a day, a month or a lifetime out of the AIO coolers. I am thinking about a custom cooler but I will only have a water block and hoses exiting the case to an outside pump, reservoir and radiator . No more motors or liquid storage inside the case. I see a lot of all aluminum radiators. I remember just enough that copper and aluminum dont play well together in water. And I assume that an aluminum radiator would eventually be eaten by a copper water block, so I will get a copper radiator. Any suggestions on what pump to use? Or is there a better air cooler for overclocking and forget liquid cooling? Thanks!

I have bought a Corsair Obsidian 750d (airflow) for my new PC build and upon deciding to get the ASUS Maximus VIII Hero, I am getting concerned that the CPU cooler (corsair h100i v2) won't fit due to the motherboard. Does anyone know if it will fit or do I need to get another mobo or CPU cooler?

So Im tempted to move down from a large ATX case (H440) to an M Atx case, I already have M atx motherboard however even with all the info online im struggling to wrap my head around the space and configuration inside the case. Firstly I would like a water cooler preferably an NZXT kraken x41 (however I have a feeling the tubing is too long so if anyone has an RGB software controlled watercooler lmk). Is there anywhere one can be mounted. Secondly GPU clearance, I have the asus 1070 strix OC, would this fit? Thirdly, I see the case takes a full atx psu but can sfx psus be used to save space? And also the drive mounting bracket looks like it can be removed but can it as Id want to get a window side pannel and if removed is there anywhere to install 2.5 SSDs or is m.2 needed? To anyone answering any of these questions THANKS Edit: water cooler doesnt have to RGB as long as it looks nice

Hi guys, I just bought 3 Cooler Master 120 mm fans to put into my case. 1 is for the rear and 2 are to be put on top of the radiator to replace the two stock fans that came with my h100i v2. The front fan is a stock 200mm fan and will stay there as an intake. My question is, how can I orient these new 3 fans (intake/exhaust) in order to maintain positive airflow for an optimal case fan setup? I have some pics down below if you guys need more visual aid and If you need more information please ask. Thanks!

So I am building my very first computer and I have an ASUS Prime Z270-AR Motherboard to be cooled by a Corsair H115i and I installed the incorrect standoffs and did not determing that until I attempted to attach the thumbscrews and realized they would not fit. Unfortunately I had already expose and seated the pump on onto the cpu but never powered up the pc yet for first boot. So I removed the Pump from the CPU and replaced the standoffs with the correct ones but realized that thermal paste was smeared on the top of the CPU. Do I need to clean and replace the TIM? I have reseated the pump on the CPU with the correct standoffs and was able to fully tighten the thumbscrews and there is no gap. Should I expect temperature issues? Should I clean the existing paste that came with it pre applied off the pump head and CPU and reapply new paste to both prior to inital boot? Help! Thanks!

Hi, I'm considering delidding my 4690k to replace the intel thermal paste with that coolabratory liquid ultra stuff. I currently use a Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGB 240 cooler with the thermal paste that was pre applied so may also change that. Will the overclock be worth all the hassle? what more can I expect? Attached image is current overclock running Prime95 small FFT for a few minutes.
