*See solution for results* Proof of life: Nothing wrong with my current hardware, this is purely for testing purposes since I have the hardware laying around. Applied the same overclock through MSI Afterburner to my RTX 4090. Screenshot of task manager is simply to demonstrate the hardware, at this moment the system was installing several applications and installing Warframe through Steam, which mind you, was CPU limiting the ~800Mb/sec it would otherwise download at. See the below posts for the data, solution marked as the end result.

My cpu normally runs around 1.1-1.7Ghz at idle, but when I open Warframe and get in-game, the clock drops to 798Mhz (minimum frequency) and stays there until it really needs to go up, which causes stuttering and lag, super annoying. The cpu temps are fine, sitting around 60-70C, so its not a thermal issue, I have tried Proton 5.21-GE-1 as well as 4.2-9 (Proton GE and 4.2-9 are the only two that work with Warframe) they both have the same issue, although Proton GE also makes frames appear to load out of order, giving a shaky feel to the game, making it unplayable. The only cpu related software I have installed is Corectrl, in which I have tried every cpu frequency governor and they all give the same result. Specs: Intel Core i7-4600u Intel HD 4400 HP Elitebook Revolve 810 G2 OS Info: Manjaro KDE 20.2 Kernel 5.10.2-2 64-bit I just want to make it clear that this issue ONLY occurs in Warframe, no other game, and that the cpu is NOT overheating, it sits around 60-70C under load. This issue appears to be very rare from what I can tell, no one on ProtonDB has this issue in Warframe, so I am assuming it is not specifically due to the game and is being affected by something else, but again, this issue does only appear in Warframe, no other games or apps. The graph shows the cpu clock, as you can see it drops down to minimum when warframe opens

Hello everyone, I'm currently using a Lenovo yoga 700 laptop as my main rig. It's rocking a I7 6500U (It's a 6600U chip but I don't know why they locked it to that specification), 8 GB of DDR3L, 256 GB Samsung SSD and a 1080P IPS touchscreen. I'm using my laptop for work, internet surfing as well some light gaming. As you guess it, I play Warframe. My settings are currently Low preset and the resolution is 1366x768. I'm getting 60fps and the lowest dip are around 40. So, I wonder if someone here used the Intel graphics HD520 to play warframe and if so, what were your settings? I'm trying to get the most out of my 2-in-1

Hello. I'm having issues with my Warframe dropping frames almost every mission My CPU load never hits above 70% and my GPU load fluctuates from 20-40% Is there a way for me to remedy this issue? Thanks! Current setup I use now: i5 2500 GTX 1060 8GB RAM

First of all, I want to note, that I've checked out this thread: PC specs: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/thhsQV Please note, that I got the stock cooler for the CPU I've also clocked CPU to 3.3GHz, running 3.29GHz Not sure I've seen it run much higher than 40% CPU usage, with the exception of benchmarks. Warframe: Although disabling HPET worked, to some extent; I'm still never reaching in 80%+ GPU usage, when in-game. (usually hovers on 40-60% gpu usage, with around 1,2gb vram usage.) There are two exceptions: The first is login screen, where I get 500~ish FPS, 99%gpu usage; and similarly, the second, is when I'm in loading screen, and someone else is hosting, I get up to 700 FPS,99% gpu usage. (Guessing, that this is because, some sort of limiter is off, and/or lowered settings/less to render.) Dark souls 3, is probably the one that's doing the, worst on my setup, since it hitches quite often, and quite badly... Also even if it says I'm 58-60 fps, it's not consistently timed; hence, even if the fps is correct, it's mini hitches most of the time. (Say 45fps in the first half second, then 15fps then the last half, just as an example; I've not tested, the consistency, because I can see it's not consistent.) What I've tried: Overclocking GPU/CPU (individually & together) Testing to see, if GPU auto throttles due to low wattage/not enough power; it doesn't as it works on 99% some games, that are more HW intensive (Tested CoD AW + filling memory settings, no problem, runs at 99% quite stable.) Nvidia Power settings, fiddling around with sync, & other settings: No difference. Disabled, and I deleted HPET (Enabled using more than 40% of GPU.) (I think, I deleted it, said so in Powershell window.) Drivers should be up to date; if not, the pc is just 2-3 months old, got it the 28/29th of July, I think it was. (Installed all, of the newest drivers, when I got it; so if they're not the newest, they're relatively new.) Everything is connected properly, in the right slots. Tried other games, only other I've found any similar problems with, is League of Legends, where FPS starts out 220-250, then drops to 100-120 after a few minutes. (GPU usage start out at 30-35%, then drops down to 15-25%) Tried benchmarking, GPU uses 99%, and got good results. Using genuine Win10 Pro, 64bit (Only because win7 doesn't support M.2 NMVe drives, and being used to windows + I've heard Linux has just gotten Dx9/Dx11, from a Linux user; can't remember which.) Tested Dark Souls 3, on max settings, averaging out on 45% gpu usage, topped on 55%, about 3,1gb vram usage. I'm also getting a lot of hitches, ruining gameplay; considering dodging & similar, becoming hard to time. (Also aware of the 60 FPS limit of the game, although this is still no excuse for the hitching.) Looked for VT-d settings in BIOS, did not find any Tested Nier: Automata, got 80%+ gpu usage, around 4gb vram usage, occasional fps drop, on maxed settings. (Usually 90%+ gpu usage) Overwatch works like a charm, even on maxed settings, getting 90%+ gpu usage, & 150-180 frames on "epic" settings, w/ 100% texture scaling. The tests, that I ran, to check GPU usage percentages, I ran on default clock speeds (1506MHz GPU clock, 2002MHz mem clock.) (Says 1835MHz, on core clock, under sensors tab, in GPU-z) Have yet, to see my GPU, go over 65 Celsius, and my CPU over 68-70 Celsius What I haven't tested: Underclocking PC Disabling VT-d (Since I couldn't find it anywhere.) Disconnecting extra monitors, via plugging out cables. (Although secondary screen wasn't plugged in for 2-3 weeks; before getting extra cable for, so ran without it for a while.) Secondary screen for browser + monitoring GPU/CPU, 3rd screen is TV. (For viewing stuff/playing with controller; is usually off.) All 3 monitors are 60Hz, but some games have other bonuses by running higher FPS. Random picture, of small ds3 hitch + HW monitoring. (Had far worse hitches, but hard catching them on print screen.) Edit: Forgot to add cpu temp into HW monitor.

This occurred to me recently my game crashes when im in the middle of a mission and the system reboots displaying a warning message. I thought it was the SMP but after cleaning it the crash still happens. Any ideas ?

These are my laptop specs:- i5 2450M Radeon HD 7670M 6GB DDR3 RAM I would like to know what are the maximum settings that I can choose to game at 30fps(minimum). I checked gamedebate.com but I don't really rely on these websites because whenever they said I won't be able to handle it, my laptop stood out surprisingly well.

Just to show how much changing settings can make to frames per second without making that much difference. I personally prefer the higher frame-rate. Game: Warframe On Processor: i3-4030U Graphics: Intel HD 4400 (Note: The scene in in a small area so frames are higher than in-game ~+10FPS) First Image: 1366x778 Highest Graphics Preset Second Image: 800x600 Lowest Preset P.S: Sorry, my method of showing fps is not accurate. I am aware of that.

If you own a Surface Go (Intel Pentium Gold) or a laptop with Core m3-7y30 or generally a device that use the Intel HD Graphics 615, can you test if warframe is playable? I played the game on an Intel HD Graphics 630 on lowest settings & 720p and it was very playable (above 60fps) and that's the closest I have to test with. I plan to buy an ultrabook with Core m3-7y30 and I just want to make sure that warframe is playable or the purchase won't be that worth it. The only place I can find that showcase warframe playing with the mentioned GPU is on a GPD Win 2 but I need another source to confirm if it's playable or not. I really appreciate it for someone can help me out. Thank you.

All right, I'll start by listing my specs. CPU: Intel Core i5 4460 (Quad-Core, 3.2 GHz) GPU: EVGA GeForce GT 720 Graphics Card ‑ 2 GB DDR3 RAM: 8 GB DDR3 ROM: 1TB 7200 RPM HDD Alright, there. Now, can somebody please explain to me how a computer that runs every other program on it at ~50 fps minimum is only running at ~20 max on Warframe, before crashing the entire system? How can it run Minecraft at 220 fps (remarkably solidly) and only run this at 20 fps? HOW!? Is it something I am doing? I did try to lower the graphics settings on it, but then the computer crashed! Well, I had to emergency shut it down. I am also going to seriously optimize the RAM on this baby. What do you guys think? Is it because, as stated in this video, low-end GPU's are just terrible? Is the CPU bottlenecking the GPU? Am I going insane? Most importantly...should I post this somewhere else?

I recently downloaded Warframe through Steam and now my brother wants to play too. Problem is our internet isn't that great and I'd rather give him the game rather than have him DL it. Is there any way to do this? Does he have to download the game? It's a free to play so I assume it's fine to just give it to him right? EDIT: I've tried putting putting it onto his PC and letting steam discover it, but it doesn't... it just downloads the game.

I have seen others playing warframe on a triple monitor (AMD Eyefinity) but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help? I know my eyefinity setup works (3x1) because if played other games with it.

Just finished the U15 update, swapped to Valkyr to change my mods and all the ability based mods are missing. Is there something I'm not understanding about the update or is my game broken? Here's a link to what I'm talking about since apparently I can't embed Steam images.. Update: Upon checking the Codex, ALL ability mods seem to be missing. Update 2: Turns out they're automatically applied now?

So here's the thing, all my friends have been begging me to play Warframe so we can be a 4-man team, but i'm not really into that whole.."oh!, gotta get this armor so I can raise my stats and feed my tree to get this special so I can get this buff and use my ability, brb gotta tab out and check the forums to see what the perfect way to beat this guy is so I can get a good score to increase my player rank and collect all the shinys!" I'm just a casual, but all my friends are hardcore. I don't know whether to say no and risk being left out, or go for it and have them find out i'm a noob who doesn't have custom keybinds set for every level. Can a casual enjoy Warframe without having to read through it's entire wiki just to figure out to jump? Help?

A 4 month old PC open beta third person shooter/hack&slash game. AND THEY HAVE NINJAS....IN SPACE. Currently PvE with the exception of dojo 1v1 duels with other clan members being the only PvP aspect of gameplay. Only recently announced to be on PS4, you're probably thinking cross platform, right? Maybe, or even a little more than maybe. Developers of Digital Extremes were given the green light by Sony to have PC and PS4 players play together but have not confirmed anything yet. Well, here's to hoping. And some game play: If you haven't played this yet I can't recommend this enough and with the new Update 9, its looking better than ever. It may seem repetitive at first but man does it get addictive. Oh and did I mention its free? Thats right kids F2P (with microtransactions of course) Add me ingame if you wanna play: XzlsT (cos someone stole my name and a lower case L looks like an uppercase i LOL)

Finally, the devs released Update 13.0!The main thing I was waiting for in this update was the melee rework(Melee 2.0).Before,melee combat was pretty much useless, and the only melee weapon which was worth using was the Galatine, mainly because primaries and secondaries were waaay better than swords, etc. The new warframe looks interesting, but I won't be able test it out.(Not enough platinum for extra slots) I'm not into the Clan thing,so these "Dark Sectors" don't mean anything to me.

Hi! ON the forums I was able to cut costs and was able to opt for a Gtx 770. However that was when I was afraid and not able to get a Z87 mobo, and a K skew https://pcpartpicker.com/user/BlazeMike/saved/3YFc (Parts have changed in my old list, So just focus on the CPU and MOBO for this list) Now! I am convinced that z87 and K skews are the way to go : So my updated list is: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/BlazeMike/saved/4vIo (Note: the VGA Card has been removed from the list as it is under discussion) So is a 770 worth that extra 70 bucks or so... Comprimise for the noise?? PLs don't directly say that 770 is better (State the facts), as now I've moved to z87 build need to Keep it under 1200$ I will be playing these games (in order of most) : Minecraft, Warframe, Microsoft Sims, Dirt 3 etc I will also be streaming, video editing and recording most of my gameplay What do you guys think?

When my friend boots up warframe a message comes up saying insufficient video memory. The game then prevents him from playing the game. Sometimes it boots up properly with no problems but that is very rare. He has a nvidia 600 series graphics card with 1Gb of vram so it cant be that. He is also running windows 7 64bit. If anyone has had this problem and/or knows a fix could you please tell me thank you.

I am having some SERIOUS issues. I cant play any of my games except mine craft. Whenever i try to play a game, i get a black screen and then it kicks me to desktop (the game is still open) and i get a alert/popup in the right hand corner saying "Amd display drivers have stopped responding and have successfully recovered". The game still shows up in the task bar, but if i click on it, nothing happens. This happens on every game, and takes about 10-20 seconds depending on the game. Things are different with battlefield 3. Multiplayer and campaign, after about 10 seconds, i get kicked to desktop , and a window is in the middle of my screen saying GetDeviceRemovedReason and then says that it crashed due to badly formed commands on my 7770. I am using 14.7 beta drivers. It happens alot faster on campaign then it does on multiplayer. Please help!!!! It really sucks not being able to play my newly purchased goat sim

Hi, so since warframe recently had update 14 with the kubrows, I was wondering if anyone got any interesting kubrow designs and were maybe willing to trade them for stuff? Or you could show of your kubrow designs if you liek, and yes I know this is not warframe forums, but here people are more active
