So recently (within the last 2-6 months, think it was about 3 or 4) I remember seeing a video hosted by Anthony and Linus checking out a Windows (11 i think) clone and raving about it's performance. There was some hiccups along the way as to be expected but they genuinely seemed impressed. At the current I don't have the money to upgrade my cpu as planned and windows although I recently reinstalled windows, it's already becoming a bit of a bloat and games that ran smooth when I first installed the cpu and now pegging the cpu at 100% and stutter is becoming a real issue. I've scrolled through both LTT and Short Circuit but can't seem to spot the video anywhere. Does anyone remember the title of the video and are able to link me to it? Or perhaps the name of the operating system? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance James

I've seen a lot of educational videos on YouTube including our beloved TechQuickie. I noticed that their videos doesn't have any background music which seems fine to me, and then there are other educational channel who use background music for their videos and sometimes i found it kinda distracting because unlike say Kurkezagt, they use animation and sound effect to explain the entire thing and the music they choose fit the theme. So if your type of video is similar to TechQuickie, would it be better to use music or not?

I've been watching LTT for awhile now and I must say that the quality of the videos are almost unmatched by any other creator. It got me thinking though. Why don't you guys upload HDR Videos? Most phones/Televisions support It, along with LMG having the resources to do so. Will we possibly see a branch out in the future?

Well, the title kind of states it all: I want to know how one would edit art/graphics out of a video that was downloaded from Youtube? In case you were wondering, the videos themselves don't contain regular video footage; just music, & I'm wanting to remove the artwork & any animations/graphics from them. But I'm not sure how I would go about doing so. [Considering I'm a newbie editor, I would very much appreciate someone providing me with a guide or some steps, etc. Also, which software/tools to use for this task?] If I ended up forgetting anything or you just need more details, please be sure to ask away & I'll do my best to answer your questions. Earlier today, I was attempting to send a video file I shot earlier this week to some other members of the family to enjoy for the holidays. But, when I tried, the file size was too big so I chose to compress it. I used Video Compressor by MobileIdea Studio (Downloaded from the Play Store of course.) & it DID manage to convert it, but I now have a problem: I don't know where the converted video file went or where to even look! Also, for anyone who is curious, my mom's phone is the Motorola E5 Go & it's running Android 8 Oreo. I would very much appreciate if someone can give me some guidance/advice/pointers on this matter since I haven't mastered Android yet! Well, we all saw it coming... Google Photo infinite storage had to end some day, that day was las week and I am not paying for more cloud storage like most sensible people. I still haven't decided what to do but it will involve a home NAS, not now, but next year for sure. Meanwhile I have to keep storing my wife's and my photos somewhere, Google Photo will hold for sometime but I need to start getting in the habit of storing my photos and videos in one single place, possibly at home this time. I started re-considering iPhoto on MacOS, I have an old Mac with a time machine backup routine that will give me some peace of mind for the moment but it was a very long time ago I last used it. Getting to my point, how is iPhoto working these days? Last time I remember once I got my photos into iPhoto I could choose the Albums to sync, via iTunes, with my iPhone 3GS or iPod to take on the go but since iTunes lost its importance or got trashed altogether, I'm not informed, how do you keep your photos around in your iPhone right now? I'll point out the iPhone 4s was my last iPhone after I switched to Android but I'm considering returning to iPhones again for better integration with iPhoto. Thank you for your time.

So the library of my youtube has this "your clips", and i want to remove the item because i cant see my liked videos though i can see my liked videos but i need to press the "show more" so its bothering me. I already deleted the clips of the video that I made and still it didn't disappear. I already search everything i could and found 1 thing and its locked so if you have any idea, i will really appreciate it.

Hey, ya'll! So, in the last couple of months, I have switched between two monitors, and ever since I upgraded from a laptop to a desktop, I have found that I am a bit too sensitive to very bright white colors. While I have managed to set up my monitor to something comfortable when switching between very dark and very light backgrounds, I have noticed that the videos of all LTT channels seem a bit too dark compared to others. Am I alone in thinking this?

My problem is simple. I love watching 8K stuff. Now, with my 1650Ti, when I run 8K videos, (with hardware acceleration enabled, graphics settings of the browser set to my dGPU both in NVidia Control Panel and Windows Settings), some videos decode with the GPU and run dope, smooth and crispy! But some don't. These ones work super smooth with GPU decode. This, this and this are smooth. Even the Yule Log works! And the MKBHD 8K Recap from 2017! BUT... For some reason, the 2020 LTT and MKBHD 8K videos don't decode with GPU! Why? The choke my CPU! Please explain why this is and how i can solve it! Note for moderators: I know this maybe the wrong sub forum, but please resolve before shifting. I couldn't decide where to post so I posted here.

Hello! I am an applied maths and computation student who also happens to be an english teacher and have a growing passion for LTT (and everything technnology), their highly entertaining content has helped me ease some of the stress encountered while persuing my degree and it even has helped fill some gaps in my knowledge. Sadly I can't share with a lot of my peers because of the existing language barriers. I'd like to do the spanish subtitles for the upcoming videos, at least the main channel ones, I already have experience translating, mostly volunteer proyects across different fields including some youtube videos. However it seems like I can't add subtitles to LTT's videos since they seem to be locked. I know it seems like a huge endevour and a big exception, but is there some way I could do a trial for a couple of videos to to assure you that I'll keep the quality of the content up? The spanish speaking market is huge, and we have yet to experience a technology content creator boom, so I belive this could be a great opportunity to expand LTT's reach and make it more approachable for a lot of people. Obviously as a volunteer.

I'm one of those weird people that enjoys reading along with the subtitles while watching a video, and recently I've noticed that a lot of subtitles on LTT are slightly... Off? Just the tiniest bit incorrect. [24(indistinct) is seated correctly.] 8:44 David is given the subtitle... title, then a few seconds later when the same person speaks, Alex is given the title. 9:11 "3200 mega trasnsfer, CL18." [3200 mega trasnfer seal 18.] 10:55 When Alex is in frame and visibly reacts to Linus' joke, the subtitle title of "Laughs" is given to David. 13:06 "Okay. Do they have XMP enabled?" [Okay. Do they have X and P enabled?] 13:33 "or was intentional thanks to Lian Li" [or was intentional thanks to Lee and Lee] 0:34 "the premium feel we expect from a modern ultra book." [the premium field we expect from a modern ultra book.] 0:50 "and I never shut up." Dear Linus Team, I have been watching your Videos for a long time now and have learnt a lot from you. One reason I am watching is that most of your reviews are very unbiased, leaving the viewer with the ability to make their own decisions. However, recently I have been noticing a trend in your videos that turn more and more into biased / opinion driven content. I`ll use your recent video about the audiophile network switch. Overall the video clearly points out a problematic product that seems to decieve the customer. But specifically in the first part where Linus takes a look at the website and the product in general, It is absolutely biased and with yet no proof given. Opinions are to be told, but only after facts and data are presented so that the viewer can decide for him/her self wether they agree or not. Maybe putting that part after the tests and starting of neutral would be a better approach. Also, I didn`t think the tests you did were sufficient, as one viewer commented: " dungeonseeker Its actually incredibly easy to compare two audio waveforms thanks to waveform interferometry. Grab a really high quality PCM recorded, record a .wav from each stream, pull both waveforms into an audio editor, invert one of them then combine them together and you will be left with the exact difference between the two. " The rest of the video was just as informative and great as I am used to by your channel. A similar Issue was presented in a video about apple. While you did address it in the podcast, i don`t think the real issue is solved yet. Opinions have to clearly presented as such. Ranting cant be included in a level headed review. It helps neither the reputability of your channel/reviews, nor does it help the viewer decide what is best for them. (And btw, I am not defending apple on the points you made, i believe many of them are true / are valid opinions and criticism. I am just not happy with the way the were talked about/ brought up.) Being unbiased and level headed in reviews is extremly important. Expecially if you are trying to bring these tests closer to a wider audience and making them more understandable / reputable comes with sticking to facts, as you always have to back up your opinions. Even more so to a big audience, where you have an actual responsibility to do so. I hope you consider my criticism and maybe dial back the opinionated content, as you have for so many amazing videos in the past. Hello, Firstly, I want to say that I love the videos and watch pretty much every one! I want to make the suggestion to include price information on every single graph when comparing any product to keep the comparisons in context. I'm a ML scientist and do a lot of presentations on data bias/normalisation analysis. I'd like to point out that showing performance comparisons without context and only mention price briefly could result in biased impressions. For example, on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D video, viewers would focus on the comparison between Ryzen 7 5800X3D and i7-12900KS the entire time. When you mentioned the price, the out of context performance comparisons are already over. People should have focused on comparing 5800X3D and 12700K. Some might rewind the video but most probably won't. Btw, this is why we normalise data and correct biases when building visualisations to make sure that the comparisons make sense. I feel like before the channel really took off, the team focused a lot more on price with performance/dollar metrics and such. Now that the channel is doing very well, the team seems to care more about i7 blahblah vs Ryzen 7 blahblah. I'd like to point out that most viewers care about performance comparisons for products of various price ranges. All of us are budge constrained when thinking about acquiring hardware. Hopefully this suggestion makes sense!

AMD Ryzen 7 5800H - GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU - Windows 11 Every YT and saved videos are washed out, but if, for example, while im watching a video I press the windows key and type something, the video in the background fixes itself, then i can close the windows menu and the colors dont change until i do something like switching tabs, or if the colors are wrong, if i can press win+m the colors fix for a second then they go back to washed out. What can i do?

I'm at a bit of a loss with this and wondered if anyone might have some suggestions for a workflow. There's Google Photos, Amazon Photos and OneDrive. I have a NAS full of photos and videos and want to back them up on these platforms. I also want to be able to back up the photos I take with my phone in real time (incase the phone gets trashed before I can offload them). Enabling this will create duplicates on all of these platforms that then show up in the timeline view. Am I missing something, is there a better workflow?

So i started using AMD ReLive to record my videos for YouTube, but I've realized when i would import them into premiere pro, the audio video sync is completely off. The video is a good 5 second behind the audio. When i watch the video outside of premiere pro its completely fine, but when i import it into premiere, it gets all messed up. Anyone know how to fix this?

So ill make this quick, i need a good microphone for Youtube, Twitch, and maybe other stuff I plan on doing videos and streaming (mostly videos), with an Elgato HD60S and probably a Logitech C922. I was wondering what the best microphone was for about $150 or less, and hopefully USB (no like third party thing necessary). And with that, whether it would be good with one of those stands that you can move around or let it go near your face and such, that would be cool too Hopefully you guys can help me and give me some suggestions! I have been going through the old WAN Shows (I'm slightly addicted... send help) and I watched the one where Luke brings up building an entire PC from parts costing $69. Where is it? I want it. I want it so bad. It needs to happen. Also I am new to the forum so Hi! But seriously, the people need this build. Also, addressing the terrible GPU one would have to buy, just SLI. Its $69 per component but I heard no rule stipulating you couldn't do multiple of the same component. That's all I have. I'm looking forward to seeing this before May!!!

Hi,I want to give some feedback to the LTT team on how they display statistics in their videos. And don't get me wrong I love statistics but how you display the statistics are sometimes equally important. And I find it very strange that when they display the performance of a card or a program they swap the positions of the objects. For example: in their latest ryzen overklocking guide video where they compared results between the 1700x, 1700x (over clocked ), 1800x and the Intel i7 7700. When displaying these results they always ordered the performance from better to worse performance. This is a common and a useful practice when there are only one or maybe two graphs you want to show off. but if you show multiple graphs in a short amount of time, then it's much more intuitive to have the processors "locked" in place. First make an logical order (I.e price, performance or chronological) and then stick with it. Then the viewer doesn't have to look at the labels all the time to make sure they are reading the graphs right. The viewer wanna look at the fancy graphs, not in what order the names are in. And sure it's less of a problem when there are just a few things to keep track of but in some of their videos they can have 7 or more different elements. Ironically the i7 statistics was the easiest processor to follow since it was always at the top. Even though the video was about the amd line and the i7 used to put the ryzen in correct perspective. If you want to re order the tested products in every graph then you should at least link each product to each own color so that you can then get a rough idea. Maybe in this example the i7 could be blue, the over clocked processor be gold since it's the focus of the video and have the other two ryzen processors use red and orange. Anyway this is all my opinion and I might be the only one feeling this way but I'd like to give this feedback since I'm super confused whenever they show any type of bar graphs from performance tests in their videos. Hi Everyone Recently I've noticed my families home internet has become considerably slow, especially for videos such as in the Float Plane Club, Facebook and news websites. They're basically unwatchable, having to buffer every second, even loading the forum here was very slow. However despite this I can play YouTube videos at 720p with no buffering at all, they just play straight through from start to end with no issues (in fact I just checked and I played a 6 min 1080p video with only less than 5 sec buffering at the beginning). The same issues is noticeable on both an ethernet connected PC and on mobile devices over WiFi. I'm wondering if this is an issue with our modem and router settings or if it's just some weird issue with our ISP. Any suggestions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
