They are both priced the same & i like that the AIO comes with a screen but the only problem is not being able to put a GPU as i value peformance. So my question is if we put a gpu on the 7060 & an eGPU on the AIO will the peformance be the same?

Budget (including currency): max €1000 Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: DaVinci Resolve 4k h.264 videos, Lightroom Editing, Mostly older games (Skyrim, Minecraft, Factorio, They are Billions, ...), but I would like to be able to play games like Bladurs Gate 3 and Starfield without having to upgrade once again. Other details: Current Build: Ryzen 5600x GTX 1080 from GIGABYTE 16 GB 3600 ddr4 600w BeQuiet 80+ Gold Power supply My PC Case cannot hold anything bigger than a 30 cm long Graphics Card 60hz 27" 1080p Display The CPU is clearly too weak to handle my Video Editing demands, and the GPU is too weak for even Minecraft with Shaders and good view distance (24+ chunks), and nowhere near powerful enough for Starfield, RAM is a limiting factor when creating timelapse Videos from thousands of single Images, ... So now I am unsure where to upgrade to and what to upgrade. Yes I need to Upgrade CPU, RAM and GPU, but can I do that while keeping the same Main board and Power supply and PC Case or am I better of Upgrading all of that as well? Because I have seen that I can get a RTX 3080 for 400 or less on the used market, but for that I will have to upgrade my PC Case and my Power supply, Which will make the Upgrade cost at least 600 for the GPU alone. I am also not sure if the limiting factor for my Video render issues is just multicore performance, or if I need to upgrade to ryzen 7000 or Intel 12/13 series, because single core is more the issue. And I also don't know how much CPU power I need for smooth Video playback in DaVinci resolve when rendering 4k Videos. This is where I need advice on. Thank you for any help!

So I recently picked up video editing and the quality is only 720p so I thought my PC which I built for gaming with a decent upgrade path but fairly low end parts to start with would do the job. But the render time is ridiculously slow. Here are the specs: i3 12100 64GBs of RAM (I got some free lol) ARC A750 WD BLACK 500GB NVME SSD all on a b660m asus tuf gaming. I will clarify that I am a complete noob to video editing and it's ins and outs. I do understand that it requires a good processor, but I felt that with an i3 12th gen that 720p shouldn't take that long but again I'm a noob to it. I'm looking for some advice on what I should upgrade to or if there is a setting I have messed up or something I'm doing wrong. Your help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Budget (including currency): 1800 euro Country: Ireland (any shops in EU will do) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: DaVinci Resolve 18, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Handbreak, FFMPEG, Reaper, Cubase. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): No gaming will be done on this unit, it's strictly a dedicated work PC where 80% of use will be Video Editing the other 20% are social media, business apps (O365, CRMs etc...) and watching YouTube videos. I am looking for input on what to go for in terms of CPU+MBO+COOLING, GPU, SSD, PSU and CASE. No need for input on peripherals/monitor or software. The main app that is used is DaVinci Resolve. All help is welcome!

I recently got a 3060, was using a 1660 Super. Now I cannot get full utilization of the GPU, or the CPU, when I am trying to edit and render videos. It took all night to render, and neither the CPU or GPU went over 15%. I use Corel Video Studio Pro 2022, which I recently started using. I used to use Movie Studio, with the 1660, and it always displayed the GPU usage. The new software doesn't. I have the settings in the software set to use the GPU in Corel. It is really frustrating. I know my pc can do better, but it isn't. How do I fix this? I have already went in and changed my 3D settings in the control panel. Specs: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core i7-11700F @2.5GHz 32.0 GB RAM DDR4 Windows 10Home 21H2 Version NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 CUDA cores 3584 Graphics boost clock 1882MHz System Video memory 0MB Dedicated video memory 1288MB GDDR6 Driver version 527.56

Helo am gamer, video editor and want to stream again Link to the pc build i want to do: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bfgakdfg/saved/4RJTJx (The cooler master fans are not actually cooler master fans, they are aigo dr12 fans) I was planning to do a under 300$ under 200w build but i checked the prices for electricity and they werent that bad so i decided to go under 500w.. But i still wanna do a cheaper setup(>700 euro) but need help to do so. My aim is to get like 720p/1080p 60+ fps on any game rn and so it'll be future proof enough. Also i wanna start streaming(720p60) and video editing again in 1080p in premiere pro or sony vegas. What i need help with is the power supply. Im very confused on what brand to buy and will the psu be reliable for under 70 euro Also can i maybe have some suggestions or tips on if my build is shit or not. Thanks for reading and hopefully you guys will help me out.

First time building a PC, This will be used for mainly 4k video editing and moderate gaming. Premiere Pro CC, After Affects, DaVinci Resolve, Light graphic/animation Is there anything i am not thinking about that i might need. I already own a 4k monitor and other accessories. Do I need a tool kit to put this PC together? Is there a better mother board choice? do i really need a 850 eve pro or can i save the $$ and got with the 850 evo will a 650W PSU be enough for the future? Noctua D15 or D14? is the extra silent proofing worth the extra ~$15 is the 1070 gtx overkill for 4k video editing? i plan on adding more storage in the future as needed and a bluray write/read Thanks in advance for the discussion, would love to know the communities thoughts http://pcpartpicker.com/list/NvQ98K

I'm trying to build my first PC, but I know nothing about hardware, so I would need some guidance and ideas. The maximum I can spend at the moment is $500. I'm fairly young and broke, so I'll be buying parts separately as I save up (I just don't want to wait any longer). My current budget is $200. I would like to build something that can be upgradeable later on when I have more to spend, or I need more power, whether it be more power for my projects or for gaming, maybe, most likely not gaming. For now I basically just need the bare minimum to be able to do my work without issues. Also I was thinking about repurposing some parts from my old EMachines EL1850-01e. Maybe use the hardrive, or disk reader, idk. My work on the new PC will mainly consist of Digital Painting (Photoshop and Paint Tool Sai) Video Editing (I don't have a good editing program yet) Streaming and Recording (OBS) and 3d animation (Blender) I always use 2 or more displays for my work, I don't mind if one is HDMI and the other RGB, or DVI, but two HD displays would be preferable. I have all peripherals ready from my old PC: mouse, keyboard, monitors, lame speakers. Some things I would like with the build are WiFi connectivity, maybe (if possible) built-in Bluetooth, and plenty of USB ports. One last thing, I'm getting into streaming, and I've heard about two-PC streaming setups, would it be possible for me to do this with a laptop I currently use and this new PC? I would be streaming what I do on the laptop through the PC. I understand if this sounds demanding or crazy, I'm a complete newbie and I seriously can't even comprehend all that goes behind building a computer, so I would greatly appreciate any help and advice. Damn I said PC so many times...

Firstly, Hi... Just signed up after watching many of Linus' Youtube vids and thought this would be a good community to come to for some thoughts and advice. Unnecessary Info I built a PC when I was starting Uni back in about 2013, pretty much stopped using it when I left Uni in 2016 but recently decided to boot it up and see how she's doing... somewhat surprisingly (after re-seating some components because it was boot looping) she works. But not really anywhere near what I'd call acceptable in 2019. Original Spec; CPU: i5 - 3570k MoBo: Gigabyte B75m - D3H (This wasn't original, it was a backup as the original died and I never bothered buying a new one... dont remember the original model) Cooler: Corsair H100i RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16GB (4 x 4GB) @ 1600Mhz PSU: OCZ-ZX850W (850 Watt 80 Plus Gold) Storage: Some random HDD's ... 500GB & 1TB GPU: GTX 770 (Now sold and using a GTX 650 I found laying around the house) Never did OC the CPU cause the MoBo is too basic, so yes the H100i is basically useless! Necessary Info So now I'm looking to get a solid upgrade that's much more coherent and thought out than the previous. Usage is like: 50% Video/Photo Editing - 25% Gaming - 25% Browsing. Budget £1000... for simplicity's sake (For essential components & case, not incl. GPU/PSU) - Realistically though I'm flexible, I'll likely be buying components bit by bit (like £200/month) so if it's more expensive it'll just take longer to build. Realistically I want a base, working machine ASAP (3-4 months) cause I'm impatient and all that. Location UK... As you may have guessed by currency used in budgeting. Aim Though the bulk of use for this machine would be video editing, I'd like it to be capable of playing AAA games at mid-high settings. Though I'm in no rush to get a GPU so happy to get like a £200 GPU then upgrade further down the line on that one. Monitors Currently only running one 1080p monitor, in no rush to upgrade it just yet but I will be shopping around. Probably looking at a 4K colour accurate ~27" monitor for video editing. Peripherals Dont *need* to upgrade peripherals but after the PC is built I'll be looking at Corsair M65 Elite mouse and Corsair K70 MK.2 Keyboard. WHY? A few reasons, the machine is fairly outdated in general. My Mobo is useless so I can't OC, and Mobo's with this socket are hard to get and probably a waste of money at this point. So if I buy a new MoBo I'll need a new CPU anyway, and DDR4 RAM, I'd want an SSD cause obvious reasons (I don't want to use my old drives in-case I downloaded anything dodgy on them. My case used to be white but has now yellowed so that needs an update. I believe the PSU is fine though to be honest, I never really overworked this machine too hard, and it's been sitting dormant for a long time so I'm fairly confident I can continue using my existing PSU. Until I need more power of course. So yeah, may as well build a practically whole new machine. BONUS I want this thing to look the shit, like most people would I imagine. So I'm pretty bought into the Corsair RGB eco-system (LL120 fans and the RGB peripherals) mixed with the Asus 'eco-system' (Essentially I've primarily been looking at Asus boards) So based on all that - I've come up with the following components in the attached picture. Not yet decided on a GPU. Ultimately I'd probably invest in an RTX 2080ti if and when I can afford one. For now I'll take recommendations on a like ~£200 card that'll hopefully allow me to play AAA titles at mid-high settings. Sooooooooo... thoughts? Oh yeah, I already bought the RAM cause it seemed a good price on Amazon...

Hey all, I'm aware you may have had these questions before, and I have been looking through multiple previous threads - but I just want to get a few things clear in my head as I go into my next build. I'm a professional videographer/photographer, that does a lot of fairly intensive 1080p editing (occasionally 4K also) in Premiere Pro. I am currently working off a Dell XPS 15 2017 (i7-7700HQ, 16GB RAM, GTX 1050, 500gb SSD) - and it has been good for when I first began but is beginning to feel slightly limiting as I move into more intensive editing, and increasing the amount of 4K work I do. I've been doing a lot of research, trying to find which parts are most important to include on a new desktop build. Here are a couple of questions I ran into: - Timeline playback, fast scrubbing through footage in premiere pro - what hardware helps this and causes less dropped frames? - From what I can see online, render times are predominantly down to the cpu, but with colour grading, visual effects on my footage - how important is the power of my GPU in my render time? - What effect will upping my RAM from 16gb to 32gb play in premiere pro editing? Essentially I want to know how to distribute my budget appropriately to ensure I have the optimal experience using Premiere Pro (and also occasionally After Effects). To add another curveball to the mix, I do also enjoy gaming, but I'm not planning on running another above 1080p for the foreseeable future (60fps at high settings in games like BF5, Farcry etc would be nice!) My budget is around $2800 AUD - and the sort of thing I am currently thinking is outlined below: - Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM008 2TB 7200 RPM 256MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - Thermaltake CL-P021-CA12BU-A 120mm Hydraulic Riing Silent 12 Pro Blue LED 170W Intel/AMD PWM Fan Black CPU Cooler - MSI GeForce RTX 2060 DirectX 12 RTX 2060 GAMING Z 6G 6GB 192-Bit GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z390 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Core i7-9700K Coffee Lake 8-Core 3.6 GHz (4.9 GHz Turbo) LGA 1151 (300 Series) 95W BX80684I79700K Desktop ... - CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model CMK32GX4M2B3000C15 - NZXT H500 - Compact ATX Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case - Tempered Glass Panel - All-Steel Construction - Enhanced Cable ... - WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB Internal SSD - SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5"/7mm Solid State Drive - WDS500G2B0A This comes to around $2600 AUD. Thanks in advance for your help people!

I am finally going to upgrade my 2012 PC that i use to edit and game on. Here's what I picked, I got he i9 as I have large HDDs and will at one point try to speed them up with Optane. Moving hundreds of gigs to back up one clients video takes for ever sometimes. i picked the cooler master case and liquid cooler cause I'm hoping it be less loud than my old one. and be able to cool the cpu enough to overclock in summer (when I get most of my jobs) (BTW do y'all know if the cooler master combo has settings to run really quite when not in loud like when watching Youtube, simple things?) I'm opened to changes I can't really go up to much on my budget. Hello, below I have my current build listed which I use and I want to switch my CPU-MOBO-GPU to AMD build while keeping the remaining components intact. (My Mobo failed, hence the switch) I use my PC mainly for 1080P video editing (Not interested in any 4k editing). Focusing mainly on Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and shooting my videos on OBS I have a Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam ) I don't play any games other than Old School Runescape and I'm not interested in trying any new games so a Gaming oriented PC is not what I'm looking for. -------- MOBO*: (Asus Maximus vii hero motherboard) <- Current, want a decent AMD switch.* CPU*: (Intel Core i7 Processor (4790K) LGA-1150. I have a 1950x Threadripper + an Msi GTX 970 as a streaming PC. Now the question is whether the video card is also enough for video editing with Premiere Pro. I previously edited my videos with VSDC Free Video Editor. And that went fine. So the question is: Do I also have to upgrade my video card?
-
Ingredients ~Mobo, Gigabyte Z87X- UD5H ~CPU, i7 4770k ~RAM, 24 gigs ~PS, Corsair CX750M ~GPU, EVGA NVidia Geforce GT 720 ~Windows 10 running on an SSD I built this back in Nov of 2013. I just added a 3rd monitor. All 3 are 27 inches and are connected via HDMI 2.0. Two to the mobo and one to the 710 graphics card. The only editing software that I use is Sony Vegas Pro 17. I don't create video a lot but during the few times that I do, during editing and playback the preview screen plays choppy most times. Sometimes it flickers and video would go completely black while the audio continues unscathed. While rendering, it sometimes freezes and doesn't finish. The rendering issue has been the case for yrs. Since I've added the 3rd monitor 2 wks ago, I've BSOD'd twice. (memory management) That never happened before with just the two. All drivers were up to date and I had the system scan itself to fix any corrupted files. If found and fixed a couple of miscellaneous files - not associated with RAM or graphics. I believe it is time for me to step up to a REAL GPU. Can anybody recommend a low to mid-range that would work with this OLD build? Trying to not go over $130ish. Or do I have to upgrade to a 'Realer' card than that? Thanx In Advance!!

My current computer is not power full enough for video editing witch I have just gotten into for YouTube and School and I have about 600 dollars to spend but I would like it to be closer to 500 so I could spend some cash speakers, Keyboard, mouse, 2nd monitor. I would prefer ddr3 system because ddr3 is cheaper and ddr3 era parts are cheap on the used market. Thank you for any information.

Within the next few months I'm going to be slowly ordering parts for my new multi-purpose PC and an HTPC. Most of these parts are final but some can change if you can give a reason that explains why it should be changed. Just tell me what you think please and give any useful tips if you have any on these two builds. Thank you very much and have a good day Linus Tech Tips Also, I do have one question to go with this post. Does anyone have any previous experience building in the HTPC case? I am in need of some help. I am building a pc for both gaming and video editing. the budget is under $750 without windows but would love to get it to $750 with windows. I would like the option to OC but not crucial. I am not a big gamer but do play from time to time. I do however need it for video editing for my business. I will also be using a 34" ultra wide 1440 monitor or 2 4k's at 27-32". I am not worried about keyboard, mouse, monitor as those are part of this budget. Here is my current build idea, any help is greatly appreciated. Oh and yes I need the optical drive for x-ray and MRI files. Hello! I need a 300-350 € video editing pc. Is that even possible? If yes, I'm considering about buying the Intel Pentium G3258 or AMD x4 860K (I'm not going to OC the cpu) are those good choices? I'm not planing to play any games on that pc so the video card doesn't need to be that good... Also I'm not planing to upgrade the pc. It would be just for video editing. The OS doesn't have to be in the price. I'm maybe going with Linux or buying Windows 7 or 8.1 from G2A or Kinguin.net. EDIT: I looked at AMD FX 4300 is that good a choice? Thank you!

Hey guys, so ive been rocking my laptop from HS for a couple of years now that has AMD A6 // 4 gb RAM very basic and well really bad now. Ive got a good job now so im looking to build my own PC for my needs, i really only play League Of Legends, CSGO but id like some room to be able to play some steam games like that ARK Surivial dinosaur game and some MMOS. My main concern is also that im getting into cinematography so im going to be doing video editing. Aside from that i also do a good amount of photoshop and lightroom work from time to time. Id like to stay under 2k with the the other stuff like the OS, Monitor (dual monitor if possible with set up or at least have the option to upgrade something later to be able to do it) etc. Im not too crazy about 4k. Id like to stay with an i5/i7 tho, im not to familiar with AMD Processors & graphic cards. Any list/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys! I have to make a new build for my college needs and I am avoiding to buy a laptop because of no good laptops available here in India. Therefore, I have decided to make a Micro ATX or a Mini ITX build for my Gaming and Video Editing Needs. The budget is $1300-$1500 (Rs.75000-Rs.85000). Parts Required: Processor, RAM, Motherboard, Graphics Card, DVD Drive, HDD, Monitor, Cabinet, PSU. Preferred Parts: Processor - i7 4770 or i7 4770k, RAM - 16GB, Graphics Card - GTX 770 or above, HDD - 1 TB or above, Cabinet - Micro ATX or Mini ITX should be easy to carry. I will be buying an SSD from separate money, therefore don't include it with the budget. And should I buy a separate CPU Cooler? If yes, then suggest one within the budget. The build should at least be able to play games at 1080p medium settings 30+ FPS for the next 5 years with minor upgrades if required. I don't plan for overclocking but will do it if required. Thanks in advance.
