Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to put it but i feel the 'report an issue' option on floatplane isn't doing much good. anyways i've been trying to watch videos for over a week but am unable to. while trying to download the videos my speeds don't go over 24kbps and buffering is the same story. i have 100 UP 100 DOWN connection here so the internet connectivity isn't an issue at all. streaming was perfectly fine until a week ago but ever since then it's been horrendously slow. i put the videos to download on my way to work every morning and by the time i'm back in the evening they're almost done unless the download gets cut in between which usually happens. Has anyone else been facing this issue? i've been reporting it for over a week but i feel like my words aren't being heard. has anyone got any solutions to this? this problem has been going on all the videos not just one. I've tried both the downloading methods and all resolutions. i've attached screen shots below for reference.

Unlike others I am going to mention this in what I feel is a fair manor. Since the new office move I feel LMG content has declined in quality. I understand the lack of new product releases lately is ultimately gonna lead to a lack of GREAT videos, however yesterday I watched Linus put 8 GPUs into a 32 core beast server and today 'How to Install a GPU' like come on. I know this is a scrapyard wars week and this has led to videos that have to be faster to produce but I don't feel scrapyard wars, which will probably drag on too long at the end should lead to a week in which content is imo pretty sh*t. I feel aside from the xmas pc modding, fallout build guide, server videos, 7 gamers 1 CPU and the latest holy sh*t video it has all been quite disappointing. We haven't seen a build guide in the new office, like a full tutorial - I love those - especially the ULTIMATE ones! I would however like to say the quality of editing has drastically increased, as has filming - not to say some sexy graphics overlays from Edzel really gave LTT videos a quirky look before and I feel LTT needs more of this. To address the exclusive Nerd Sports, I'll be honest I was initially p*ssed. However seeing @LinusTech post on the forum about it I now fully understand why and have ti say I love the idea. Exclusivity and content behind a paywall is always gonna be controversial, but providing it doesn't take away from other content (for which it seems that way this week) I fully agree with the move, and whilst I am yet to make a decision may be the sole reason i renew vessel membership! Linus my personal viewpoint/advice on this would be not to take on too much I love some of the latest LTT videos but others have been awful imo. I understand this time of year lacks for product releases but aside the 'show style format' more reviews would be great - because that's what you do best. From new employees that you have mentioned it seems you are facilitating for all this new content you plan to make. Tech quickie has also been superb lately. Finally Brandon, Edzel, Taran and John are great on camera and seeing more of them would be great. This is all subjective I know but these are my opinions and if you were to see this I hope I have put across an unbiased argument and would love to know what everyone on the forum thinks.

This is my first time posting on the Forum, so if I'm doing something wrong - don't hesitate to tell me and I'll try to do what I can. Also, if this has already been answered, show me where. As many of you know, LMG is making a new Vessel exclusive series - "nerd sports" (ChannelSuperFun). However, many people have complained, because it doesn't seem fair to them that vessel should be getting an exclusive series that requires you to pay. And I'm with them. In fact, Linus said himself that ALL LMG videos will be available on YouTube as well as Vessel. I'd say CSF counts as LMG. Linus even states that after the first year, you won't have to pay to watch his videos. Personally, I don't like this either. Doesn't seem fair to people who don't want to pay for Vessel. The launch video (which is unlisted) is below at the point where he states LMG videos will be all on YouTube. Enderman linked to another thread where Nick responded - sorry I didn't notice that.

i was on reddit and i found a subreddit called /r/vesselrips they have a ton of ltt content and this is illegal so i just thought i let let u guys know

In the vessel videos, you have the video boxes/annotations for where links are when the video is on YouTube. But in vessel, those are just parts of the video and don't link to anything; unless I am just dumb and haven't figured out how to use them. Also, at the end of the videos you talk about "click our links" to sponsors/affiliate codes/whatever, and those links are again not on the vessel video, since this is still a YouTube thing. These extra links you talk about are rarely in the description, or anywhere on the video's "page". It is actually kind of a pain to find those videos or links sometimes if you actually want to click them. Please simply add the links in the details section where you have the links for the music and such. @LinusTech @Slick

Me and others with Me has noticed a steady decline in the 7 day exclusive content you published on vessel .. I understand doing this where releases of major hardware that's embargo'd is concerned .. But honestly lately it's been standard content as well .. One good example being the one which came out a few hours ago about pokemon GO and how to cheat it.. Btw .. what the hell kinda video was that? Anyway, I do pay for my Vessel subscription, as I assume the majority of the current viewers there do, and i do so because it allowed Me to access content 7 days early on LTT and CSF and I imagine alot of the current viewers there subscribed and paid up for the very same reason .. Supporting LTT and getting early content .. If LTT however fails to live up to their commitment then why the hell should we continue subscribing? More and more of the content gets release on Youtube the same day anyway! You're abusing those who financially support you, and it's not OK.

Lately I have had issues with different videos lagging when gaming (both in Win Movie Player, YouTube, vessel, twitch etc.). It seems to happen whenever I run a game in "Full-screen", now, back in Win7 i had the same issue, and fixed it by disabling Windows Desktop Composition, however, I am unable to find any sort of fix or equal setting in Win 10 (which I've been running for about a year now) It could just be that my Google-fu is failing me, but non the less, I need help I don't believe it's a hardware issue, since I'm running a i7 2600k and a GTX 970 with 16GB RAM, and there are no thermal problems or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am paying customer and i can't see those videos... I put 1080p the video option, after that it doesn't work. I can use youtube and every where else 1080p. How i can reset the vessel video setting in chrome?

As we all know, Linus Tech Tips has a very diverse community that provides feedback across all platforms. However, the opinions expressed can very from time to time. So, my question is, what is taken into account and how often is it actually utilized? I've seen somewhat popular videos/series seemingly ending in the past (i.e. Kickfarted), yet others that have received more negative feedback still exist today (i.e. NerdSports). I am in no way asking about this for privacy reasons or to accuse LMG of ignoring us, but I'm just curious to how the data the community provides is actually used so that I myself (and others) can better project those opinions onto the content produced.

Well, Vessel played the first few minutes of the last Scrapyard Wars 4 episode and then froze when I tried to change quality to 480p because it was taking far too long to buffer, and the audio cut out. Now, the video won't even load. The loading icon appears to be there to stay, no matter how many times I reload the page or restart my browser. I'm using Google Chrome, and it was working just fine moments ago. Does anyone have a solution to this? Is there a browser where this buggy excuse for a media platform works without issues?

Not sure if this is the right section to put this, but has anyone noticed that there have been a few videos released recently on Vessel that are not 7 day exclusive, yet do not appear on YouTube? Are they supposed to be exclusive and Vessel just derped?
