I need to create a Timeline video of Historical events with images & text that move. I used this technique earlier but I think its too much now. So, I tried to create a very long horizontal vector on Illustrator and I thought that I'll simply Import this in Premiere Pro and give a horizontal motion and video done. Now while creating the vector, I simply extend the artboard horizontally i.e N x 1080 (Width x fixed Height) for 1080p video. Now vector canvas is out of bounds horizontally and I can't create anything horizontally on that same artboard. Ofcourse, this doesn't sound like an ideal method for very long horizontal motion video but I would save huge amount of time instead of animating every single item on Premiere Pro. What can I do to make such video?

I have the regular O11 Dynamic with the EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3090 on an Asus Maximus XII HERO. I however can not get the side panel on anymore as the terminal protrudes out a bit to much. I was wondering if anything has the O11 Dynamic XL with the EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3090 and is able to get their side panel on. -

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble calculating feval of a multi variable function because I need to pass values as a vector. Example: I have this function: x1^2 + x1*x2 + 0.5* x2^2 + x1 + 10*x2 (defined everything using syms x1 x2 and converted it using matlabFunction() ) and I have a point x0 = [0; 0] where first value should be x1 and the second one x2 Problem is when I call feval(f, x0), Matlab throws an error saying "Input argument "x2" is undefined." I know it works if I call feval(f, 0, 0) but that is not what I need because my function can have more than 2 dimensions so it needs to somehow know that first vector value corresponds to first variable, second vector value to second variable and etc... Is there a way I can do this?

Hello! I recently finished a sketchup model of the custom pc case I'm building. I'm going to be getting some aluminum and steel laser cut to shape in the next few months, but to do so they need a vector file format of my design. How do I make one from what I have in sketchup? I know how to make a PDF or JPG image of what's currently on my screen, but I need a blueprint, basically, with dimensions and everything.

So I hope this applies to this topic since it is programming. So as we all know, Anki shut down nearly a year ago, and while Vector and Cozmo(I'm fairly certain) are both still connected to servers and are still a ton of fun to play around with, especially as we wait for the root team to figure their ways into Vector so he can be "modded" and made to do more than he can already do, Anki did indeed release the SDK for Vector, well as of last night I learned that Vector is programmed in Python, which may not be a surprise to most but I'm still learning some things, some of the programs that come with the SDK allow for you to display images on his face, make him play specific sounds and noises, force him to dock without telling him, there is even a remote control for Vector that I honestly had way to much fun messing around with. They even had what was supposed to be sign language recognition that was certainly a work in progress, but Vector still understood a fair amount of gestures. Then I took to Notepad++ and began looking for code for him and learning. Eventually his eyes were rainbows and then different hues of purple and white. For anyone learning Python I would highly recommend getting a Vector, he is more than worth the money as both a fun little desktop buddy but a cool tool to teach coding. I think this could also be a cool thread to share your code for Vector as well as offer ways to fix and better his current code. For instance I'm currently looking to change the image vector displays when I hit the image button. Its cute to see his big brother Cozmo but I figured there could be some funny things to do with that.

So I'm planning on buying a vector because I mean why not, I figure it would be a cute thing to have on my desk and to mess around with when I get bored, but is there anything neat that he does that most people don't know?

I've created a vector<thread> t; and I've tried the following, vector<thread> t; for(int i=0;i<count;i++) { t.push_back(MyFunc,i); // count is an Index variable passed to MyFunc() } . . . void MyFunc(int Index) { Array[Index] = Index; // Just an example... } but Qt Creator says "too many arguments" when I hover my mouse pointer over the above statement. Any idea why? Thanks!

laptop for vectors photoshop and bitta gaming

So im buying a laptop on ebay probably used mainly for editing vectors and using photoshop/illustrator,some gaming and djing so wondering whatd be the best laptop to get for less than 600 dollars on ebay used as itll be better value. been looking at the asus rog what everyones thought in this machine..looks good value. dont know what im lookin at when it comes to specs but looks like it would be good going off reviews..know jack about computers tbh tho. any helps a big help! -
Hi, My applications tend to stop responding as soon as they have to do anything. I suspect it is because of my OCZ Vector SSD because in task maneger the disk is at 99 % load most of the time and I was unable to run CrystalDiskMark (I clicked run/start but nothing happened). In CrystalDiskInfo and OCZ SSD Guru it says the drive has a health of 54 %, at 13000 hours, which it says is good. My laptops OCZ Vertex 4 has 99 % health after 2000 hours. When I start CrystalDiskMark the disk usage in task manager goes up to 40 MB/s and then starts falling as disk usage hits 99 % and ands up at about 4 MB/s Is there any way I can be sure the problem is with the SSD before I send it in for repair as it will cost me money if it's not faulty? How low can the healt go before it is no longer good?

So the first thing I noticed on Vector's website was "Design Truly Matters - LESS GADGET, MORE STYLE". I think this was discussed on the WAN Show not too long ago. It seems to be more of a watch that happens to connect to your phone than a tech gadget. So it looks good while also having a great battery life. From what I gather, it runs it's own operating system and app store (which will soon be opened to third party developers) and has an app for both iPhones and Android phones. I'm thinking of purchasing the "Photography" edition of Creative Cloud, but since I'm planning to move away from my precious Windows 7 about 2-3 months after the Windows 10 release, it seems like a waste. Well more to the point: Can I install Creative Cloud on multiple computers? Will I be able to disable a license, in order to use it for another PC? And a side-question: What is that "ProSite Portfolio Website" feature in the next tier? If It's just a regular website hosted by Adobe for portfolios, I see no reason to use it over a SquareSpace subscription that would IMO allow me more control and freedom over my site.

Hi all, Firstly, some system specs: i7-2600k Asrock z68 extreme4 OCZ vector 256GB(OS + main programs) WD black 1TB(alternate) WD green 2TB(storage) Seasonic 860W gold PSU Sapphire 6850 x2 Define r4 etc.. Had system for about 2 years. Overclocked cpu to 4.5 on stock voltages. Added SSD and have been using it without problem for 1 year. Recently, being bored, i decided to try pushing the limits of my CPU. Got to 4.8ghz and started to increase voltage. all was well until i got a x124 bsod error. I read that increasing VTT would perhaps help keep overclock stable under load so i increased it by one notch(nothing out of the limits of the cpu i believe) this was when on reboot, my motherboard suddenly could not detect my ssd, not even in bios. other drives can all be detected. I have never encountered any problem like this before. Could it have been something to do with the overclock/vtt increase that ruined my ssd? I have tried changing sata cables, changing between achi/ide mode in bios and changing the sata port the ssd is attached to. I am now taken my system apart and just attaching ssd to motherboard tweaking bios settings. when i boot it up it goes straight into bios and ssd cannot be detected. Is the problem with my ssd or am i missing some setting in the bios. Any help would be greatly appreciated. i'm kinda desperate at the moment. EDIT: tl;dr: Year old ssd, suddenly undetectable after overclocking attempt

Hi all, I have been wondering about this for ages. And I have posted something about this topic before hand about SSD's dying. But I was wondering if anyone has any idea if OCZ drives are bad for RAID or I just have the worst luck in the history of the world. So here's my story: First I had 2x OCZ Vector 128GB SSD's in RAID 0 on my Gigabyte X79-UD3 motherboard, and after about 3 months they both died, at practically the exact same time. So at first I thought my SATA ports were screwed so I bought a new motherboard (my motherboard was a bit screwed anyway with the front USB so it wasn't too bad anyway) I bought the AsRock X79 Extreme 3 motherboard and I got warranty on my SSD's and got 2 more brand new. And again I put them in RAID 0 and then again 1 of my SSD's has died at about 3 months of use. I know it can't of been the motherboard, because I have tried 2 now. Are OCZ bad for RAID 0? Or am I just the unluckiest guy in the world? Thanks in advance for all answers

Hello guys, I have a SSD OCZ Vector Series 256GB SATA-III 2.5 inch for 1 year. Everything was fine until 3 hours ago when I woke up and found the PC shut down. When I launched I got that classic "boot" thing, SSD being my windows drive. Went to BIOS and I can't make it see my SSD. I tried to move it to a different cable. Now it sits in the "drive rack bay" that the Corsair 650D has. Still no luck. I pulled out all the other HDDs and only left him alone, no luck. In the morning (it's 3:21 AM here) I will try to go at someone to test the SSD on another PC, but in the meantime, is there something else I can do? This was my work drive, I only lost a game save file and some game recordings + an episode I recorded. Nothing major... but still annoying. Thank You /PET

So I got me one of the OCZ Vector drives, the 256 GB model to be specific. Now starting about 2 months ago, Windows has been telling me from time to time that it's found drive errors and needs to reboot to repair it. After rebooting it's fine for a week or 2, after that the same message pops up once more. Some information from the log in Event Viewer:
