Subject: PC Shuts Down Unexpectedly When Playing Valorant - Need Help! Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to this community in hopes of finding a solution to a persistent issue I've been experiencing. Whenever I play Valorant on my PC, it suddenly shuts down without warning. This problem only occurs while I'm in the game; my PC works fine with all other applications. Here's what I've tried so far: - Updating my graphics card drivers and other drivers. - Monitoring the CPU/GPU temperatures (they seem normal). - Running a full system virus scan (no issues found). - Checking for Windows updates. - Moved Valorant to a different drive and reinstalled. - I've tested other games like Palworld and also ran Kombustor and Did not experience any crashes or issues. - Updated BIOS (Resulted in stuttering in games. I may have resolved it by disabling FTPM and turning Game Boost to auto in bios) My PC specs are as follows: - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor - GPU: ASUS TUF NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti - Motherboard: MSI B650 Tomahawk - RAM: 32gb 6000mhz - PSU: Deepcool PX850G - Operating System: Windows 10 I've checked the error logs in the Event Viewer, but nothing there points me towards a clear cause. The shutdowns are abrupt and don't lead to a blue screen or any error message; it's as if the power just cuts out. The image below shows the critical message for the restart. Has anyone else faced a similar issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Could it be a problem with the power supply, motherboard, or something else entirely? Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help! Best regards, Adnan

Hello, my laptop, which I bought in June, started to tear and feels laggy. I never had such problems in the summer, I was playing all games without vsync with high fps but it started suddenly. My Specs: ASUS TUF A15 2023 Edition. RTX 4060. Ryzen 7 7735HS. 2x8 DDR5 4800MHz RAM. 500GB M.2 SSD. 144Hz G-Sync Screen. Win 11. I dont know why this started to happen. My roommate has asus tuf 2022 edition with RTX3050 and when we compare 2 laptops on CS2 with no v-sync my computer has more tearing and feels like not 144hz. His computer gets 180fps and mine is getting 220fps, we both have 144hz monitor and his laptop dont even have gsync but mine is not smooth. I tried to uninstall drivers with ddu and reinstall but nothing changed. I might refund or send to warranty. If someone help I would be happy, thank you. https://vimeo.com/891160344?share=copy This is the video that I recorded.

I have recently gotten a new computer with Windows 11 and I tried to download and play Valorant, I would be able to play for a couple of minutes before an error would occur telling me that I need to have Secure Boot and TMP 2.0 enabled. I've attempted to troubleshoot it to no avail, after startup the command 'get-tmp' in Windows Powershell works as well as typing tmp.msc. However after refreshing it would show error 0x80284002 and the command get-tpm no longer works. Hoping for some help, thanks. My PC Specs are Asrock B550M PRO4 RTX 4060 AMD 7 5700X 16GB RAM

Hey, my girlfriend bought a pc from pcspecialists in july last year. The pc has worked without any issues until about two weeks ago when she started dissconnecting and reconnecting to online games while we were playing. We have tried countless different methods and sent emails back and forth with pcspecialists support team. Today she reinstalled windows clean and it still has not fixed the issues. She told me that she thinks it is the pc's pcie network card that might cause the issues but we are unsure. She has updated the drivers for her network card. Before these problems started she her power cord to her pc was sticking half-way out of the powersupply and she could hear the electricity so she shut the pc down and put the cord fully in. Can anyone help us resolve this issue, she is unsure if she has to buy something new or a new pc all together or if it can simply get fixed by some software updates. Best regards Endre

I have a Z420 workstation and upgraded it recently. I swapped out the Quadro k4000 for an RX 580 and switched the E5-1620 out of my system for an E5-2690. After I swapped out the GPU, I've been experiencing severe FPS drops mid-game. At the beginning of a game, I get and average of 130 fps, and then out of nowhere, it spikes down to 30 fps then back to 130 fps, and keeps happening repeatedly sometimes with short intervals if I'm lucky. I really want to get to the bottom of this because this happening when I had the old GPU in my system so someone pls help.

So I'm trying to set up my pc to run two instances of windows and so valorant on it using the Aster v7 tool. Everything worked pretty great till I started the game and realised that Valorant locks any other mouse input to the system the moment you start the game. I haven't been able to find any way online to get this up and running. I even tried assigning 2 different usb controllers to the individual instances, but it still wasn't successful. If anyone has any tips, that would be really amazing. Thanks

Ever since I uninstalled my valorant and re installed it, I've had a prompt come up every single time I boot into windows saying: "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device" It's annoying because it never used to happen... So why is it all of a sudden doing it now? Anybody know why?

Budget : £1000 Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant with some screen recording and light ML training and coding for personal projects( planning to dual boot with Ubuntu). Specs chosen: AMD Ryzen 5 7600x, Nvidia 4070 12GB ( MSI Ventus), MSI B650P pro WiFi motherboard, Corsair vengeance 32GB RAM (6000 Mhz CL36), Corsair RM 850, Corsair 4000D airflow Other details : I've a 240 Hz 1080p monitor, G pro Superlight and a decent mechanical keyboard. Doubts : is the 4070 an overkill? But downgrading my GPU makes sense if I downgrade my CPU too right? Also not sure about the PSU as well. I also need a cooler for the CPU, which would be best in a budget sense?

I'm using an Asus Tuf f15 fx506lh. i5 10300h and GTX 1650 16 Gb of ram and 512Gb ssd. Around a month ago, I got about 290-330/340FPS in Valorant as I use an external monitor (LG ultra gear 24gn650-b). It gets the power from my external GPU; recently, I hardly get 120-220FPS, and most of the time, the FPS suddenly falls to 100-120. As I use 144hz display, it becomes laggy, and sometimes the screen gets frozen, and even the cursor gets stuck. To solve this issue, I reinstalled the game, reinstalled my Windows, changed my bios version, and updated graphics drivers and other drivers, but I could not solve this problem.

Hi! Seemingly randomly, about 3 months ago, whenever i started walking into smokes on CSGO or having the enemy Reaver skin finisher animation play in valorant (when I’m alive and die last or I spectate a teammate that dies last, to only the reaver skin), my PC would shut off and restart. All parts in my PC are less than a year old (besides my GPU), so i’ve got no idea what could possibly be causing this. I have had an issue where my CPU overheated a few times on Overwatch 2, but I’ve reapplied thermal paste and monitored temps (~65-70 celsius on Valorant and CSGO) and they seem fine. Nothing shows up in event viewer either. I’m stuck, please help me as this makes competitive gaming literally impossible. Thanks EDIT: Forgot spec list, here: GTX 1080 i5 10400f (stock cooler) 16gb 2666mhz ram b460m both games installed on m.2 nvme drive (tried hdd as well) 850W Antec PSU

So in setting when I open valorant it wont let me change my resolution or monitor it just says custom for resolution and says nothing for monitor.

My PC is a frankenstein of parts that I started and parts I been boughting after since 2020, I'll say the parts I've changed if it helps. CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X (Newer, bought with the M/B) (Stock AMD cooler) GPU: Galax GTX 1650 Super (Newer, bought before the ) Motherboard: Asus Prime B450M Gaming/BR RAM: 2x8 GB 2400 HyperX (One bought with the GPU and other since the start) PSU: KCAS 500W 80+ Bronze (Since the start of the PC. I know I should have changed it since it isn't good, but it didn't stopped working still, so I didn't changed it. Also I plan on changing it when I buy a new GPU) SSD: Kingston A400 120GB (Since the beginning) (Windows is installed here) HD: Some random Hitachi 500 GB (A lit bit later) HD2: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB (Newer) (Games are installed here) Well, that's it. Some random times the whole PC lags for a moment, like everything in the PC suddenly lags for a moment. If I'm watching a video it gets slow like a slowdown effect on a video or something like that. When I play Valorant my game freezes sometimes. I have a friend that has basically the same setup as me and doesn't have problems. I've already tried every graphics config but nothing stops completely. Only happens in Valorant, though. Other games are fine. Temps seem fine. I want to know what can I do to solve this. Maybe my SSD is old? Maybe my PSU is bad? I was planning on buying a new NVMe drive, but money is scarce. Well, I would be really happy if you guys could help!

Been wanting to have a PC since ages and I think it's time finally. I need help with the parts though. Budget (including currency): Considering a budget of around £1500 (in the UK). Willing to consider going above the budget for better performance. Country: United Kingdom. Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant ( might screen in the future?) Machine Learning models for personal projects and freelancing stuffs. I do have access to a powerful server for complex ML model training and do not require high VRAM. Other details : I've a 1080p 144Hz monitor which I plan to upgrade or use as my second monitor soon. ( Don't know about higher resolutions as I only play Valorant) I've been thinking about the Nvidia 4070 or should I look out for used 3090s instead? Don't want to go AMD for GPU as the stability and support for my ML modules are relatively less and support for Nvidia is available throughout the community. For the CPU, the majority of my work needs high single core performance ( bonus for gaming too IG). So Intel is the way to go then? I need a new Headset and mouse though (wireless maybe? Fairly happy with my keyboard even though it's wired.). I've a MacBook air which I'd ideally like to connect and work on some casual stuffs. (not a necessity though) Currently using a my 8 Year old GTX 1050 laptop which is on its last leg.

Hello! I've recently got a gpu upgrade from an RX 570 to an RX 6750 XT (Reference Version) as a gift. I play quite a few AAA titles here and there all I can say is that I can crank everything to max except for ray tracing of course. The problem is that whenever I play Apex Legends or Valorant, for some reason I would significantly notice stutters while I am in the actual game. However, when I try to play those games in their respective firing range the hitches seems to go away ever so slightly, it's still there but it's no longer that noticeable. I did a little bit research about my card in Youtube and found some benchmarks about my card and saw that they have a consistent 300fps in 1080p while I have about 165-250 here and there. My settings are in 1080p all low, both Anti-Aliasing as well as V-sync are off. Before installing the gpu, I also used DDU as a pre-cautionary measure as I've seen that previous driver settings might interfere with the newly installed card. I wanted to know/learn if the cpu is the one whose responsible for the stutters. I also wanted to know if there is anything I can do besides upgrading my cpu. Thank you for taking your time reading my lengthy paragraph and I hope to hear what you might suggest. I have really bad input lag that can last between 1-5 seconds for only two specific games: Apex Legends and Valorant. It seems to happen randomly and I cannot find any rhyme or reason for it to occur during gameplay. I'm not sure what the cause could be but I've done a few of the typical troubleshooting tips such as updating graphics drivers and lowering/ adjusting settings in-game. Regardless of if I run high or low settings (v-sync is always turned off) I still get input lag. Specs: CPU - Intel i5-7600k Motherboard - Gigabyte B250M-DS3H Ram - 1 x 8GB HyperX Fury DDR4-2100Mhz (placed in channel 4), 1 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 - 2133Mhz (placed in channel 2) GPU - Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Storage - 1 x Seagate Barracuda 2TB, 1 x Samsung Evo 960 SSD 500GB Power Supply - Corsair CX 450M 80 Plus Bronze Operating System - Windows 11 Keybaord - Logitech G915 TKL Mouse - Logitech G Pro Wireless Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! Honestly it's driving me nuts because I can't even explain my problem properly as I haven't seen anybody else complain about it. Basically, whenever I game (typically VALORANT) and try to peek a corner 3 out of 10 times I will most likely be teleporting a millimeter to the left or right. I mostly notice it when I press A or D so basically whenever I go left or right. I've tried showing my friends my issue but since I usually record in 60 fps they couldn't really see it. For the purpose of this post I amped up my video quality to 1080p and 120 frames but usually it's less and I get the problem regardless of my recording program running or not. Even though my graphics card isn't the best I was wondering whether that might the problem or if I should take a look at something else since I don't want to upgrade it just yet when the prices are so high... Some additional info: - I've recently reinstalled my Windows - I've reinstalled VALORANT - All my drivers are up to date... Clip 1: https://medal.tv/clips/61170084/MMSqqeMzIknQ On this clip it's pretty easy to see that I have the weird teleporting issue before I got the 23th score (second 5-6) Clip 2: https://medal.tv/clips/61170127/7C84rtnzEIdl On this clip it's a bit harder to recognize but right after I scored 11 I'm teleporting a little to the left even though I didn't make such a big step... My PC specs: Windows 10 64 Bit 700W Power supply 16GB RAM Ryzen 5 5600x GTX 970 Please let me know if I need to specify anything as it's my first time posting something on a forum Hopefully somebody can help and thank you in advance :)... Hello, For a i5-13600KF, 240hz gaming i was wondering between the : 3070 ti and 4070. If there are any better graphic cards in term of performance, price and low bottleneck i am all for it. AMD and NVIDIA I looked at benchmark, but between videos the results are changing too much, and i am not sure if i can trust them. Thanks for the help

Hello everyone, I am having an issue with voice chat in Valorant and in Rainbow Six Siege. My in game communications are deafened and mic is muted. I made sure my mic is set to default on sound settings and the loopback test in the actual game works. I have tried the following for trouble shooting: 1. Making sure all appolications that require mic access are allowed through windows firewall 2. I have reinstalled the applications 3. Tried connecting to different regional servers in game. I am honestly at a loss where to go from here. Please help :(

Hello , I have just bought hp pavilion gaming with Ryzen 7 4800h , gtx 1660ti max q and 16gb of RAM . the problem is that the ram is single channel , it s teamgroup 2666mhz 16gb of ram and that really affects my fps in valorant because i was getting average 120fps while it should be over 180 watch this video to see the difference : so now i don't have much more money to buy another 16gb of ram . so if i get a 8gb from the same manufacturer and the same clock speed ( 2 slpots 16gb + 8gb ) will it run as dual channel or should i get the 16gb version.

slowboot Windows 10 Load times increased after Valorant install.
Tech Reprise posted a topic in Windows
Why did Windows Boot time to lockscreen increased from 10sec to ~25sec after Valorant install? Is it because of their Vanguard anticheat that runs with Windows Boot? Is there any way to disable that without breaking the game or Windows? -
Can my laptop with Ryzen 3550H 4c/8t 8gb 2400mhz ram gtx 1650m be able to stream games @1080p 60fps on YouTube? Are the specs enough for streaming?

i cant hear anything in valorant except for when i hover over an upgrade in the shop and when my teammates talk in voice chat. Ive talked to the valorant support but they didn't know what was wrong. Does anyone have a solution to this?
