Hi I want to upgrade my pc, in term of speed and that's it really. I also bought some part already and I was wondering if this suffice or maybe I need more. (P.s I bought this part couple of months back because I thought these part is good enough and also my budget was very tight back then). -H61+/B75 motherboard -Intel i3 2100 3.1 GHz -(2×8) GB RAM DDR3 1333 MHZ -SSD M2 NVME 128 GB And (I think) this is my current setup -Intel i5 650 socket 1156 -Motherboard Chipset Intel h55 -8GB (4×2) RAM DDR3 -500GB HDD -GTX 950 -Casing Varro/power up standard My current budget right now is around 60 dollar (I live in the third world country so most computer part is probably affordable I think....) so I was hoping I can get a good recommendations and hopefully I can run some cpu dependant game or just be able to play Witcher 3 smoothly lol. Thank you very much to anyone reading this.

My pc https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZcxhYN I have been having games lag and pc turn off. It's the 750x PSU. I am going to upgrade but want to know, should I buy the 850 or 1000. I am planning to buy the rm1000x shift. It has ATX 3.0 and it's good. Great result and review. Should I buy the 850 or 1000. There's an offer on right now 20%off. Thanks.

I want to upgrade my Cpu in my laptop and i was wondering if the i7-4910MQ is possible to install into the laptop. many sites have said no and yes so, I am confused on whether or not it would work before I buy one. my second option is the i7-4712MQ if it would work also. i currently have a i5-4310M Cpu and my bios is A24. my ac adapter is 65 watts, and my ram is 16Gb DDR3 1600Mhz. i am mostly wondering what the best Cpu i could install in my laptop. it also runs windows 10 pro if that matters.

Hello y'all, I need to hear other peoples opinion. I mostly play video games and have an interest in learning UE5 and modding maps (on Ark Ascended). Im currently running a Ryzen 3600 and will be upgrading on Black Friday. A 5900x is 10 bucks cheaper than 5800x3D. I know about 3D v cache is good for gaming and all but having more cores is also nice as well. Can y'all give me y'alls opinion on which CPU you would choose and why? Thank you!

Hi all I hope you had a nice day today, I wanted to ask your opinion on an upgrade that I was considering recently. As for a little background, I had this build (link) for over a year and it's been a pretty decent experience with it. As you might recall, however, by the time I built this PC, the GPU prices were EXTREMELY high and therefore I went with a 3060, which costed me about 380-400€. But, since the new RTX40 series made their place in the market, I am wondering how effective it'd be for me to upgrade my RTX3060 which honestly is not used that much anyway... I'm definitely going to sell my GPU if I decide to upgrade, which I'm thinking I can sell it for about 250-300€ range, so that gives me an additional boost to afford maybe something like the RTX4060? And lastly, I'd be doing this change most likely after Christmas, but before that I wanted to hear your ideas about the upgrade, as this is my first ever build. Thank you very much!

Budget (including currency): Under 30,000k sek (Swedish Krona) Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Apex Legends, CoD Warzon 2.0, Streaming, video edeting Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am looking at getting a pc that can stream and game at high quality for under 30,000 sek. It could be nice to fit a second monitor into this buget and for video editing it would also be nice to have a fast SSD both main and secondary. I am upgrading from a Pre-build lenovo with a I5 9400f and a 1660ti. I am planing to buy this winthin a month, so some fast advice would be nice to get Here is the current parts list I have for this build. Would be nice for some opinions to change, https://se.pcpartpicker.com/list/QpbZL9

Budget (including currency): No budget future plan so cheaper will make me get it faster.. Country: Norway Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Plex, game servers (Minecraft, atlas, eco, rust, space engineers, unturned....), nextcloud, unify controller, uptime site, maybe steam cache. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): the main reasons for upgrading are that I need more space and the server is pretty loud so trying to find something that's more quiet. also my current system cant transcode anything (unless it's 1080 to 1080 for max 2 streams) due to no GPU. My current setup: ProLiant DL360 G7 Os: xcp-ng (vm then truenas) (info: didn't know what I would end up using so that's why I have 2 os while I only need 1) Ram: 64GB (4x16GB) 2RX4 PC3-10600R CPU: 2 x Intel Xeon X5650 Storage: 1,6TB (600gb*4 in raid 5) Maybe a new setup: I watched the "I built this computer for Mark Rober", and started with this: Motherboard: ROMED8-2T (https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=ROMED8-2T#Specifications) CPU: AMD EPYC 7302P (or something like) Case, ram, CPU fan, and storage: (https://www.komplett.no/wishlist/shared/423bc95e-3188-498c-9287-aebcd8689037) I already have one of these, but I can't find any information if the motherboard supports PCI bifurcation, if not is there one alike I could use?: https://www.asus.com/no/motherboards-components/motherboards/accessories/hyper-m-2-x16-card-v2/ I also need a Psu and maybe a GPU for transcoding, but how much do I need? I want this setup to be future-proof... so Imma start with 3 disks and add more as needed

I want to get a 5 5600 to replace my 3 3300x . But i will need to update my bios from P3.90 to P5.30 for the 5600 to work with my motherboard. Do I need to go from 3.90 to 4.20, to 4.30, and so on until I reach 5.30? I know this is a dumb question but I am asking this because some BIOS updates in the description say "*Caution!!! Please do NOT update this BIOS if 3300X CPU is being used on your system. *ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if you are going to use Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU on your system. *Before updating this BIOS, please also read the description in previous BIOS version." It says this in the 4.90 and 5.00 description. Also a few add on questions, what is the "CPU Rev." column that the 5600 has nothing in?, and if i'm updating my bios should I just update it to the newest version, or is that not recommended? I wrote this badly but the main thing I was trying to ask is, will it be fine updating my bios from 3.90 directly to 5.30 with the 3 3300x in it before I replace it with my 5 5600 that I will get? also i know this isn't the right topic forum thingy, but might as well kill two two birds with one stone. i'm planning to upgrade my gpu to the RX 6700 xt as well. with the R5 5600 bottleneck it or vice versa?

Budget (including currency): $2000 USD (22 000SEK). Country: Sweden. Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Only gaming, possibly some photo editing in the future but no deal breaker at all. Other details Upgrading from my 7 year old pc, currently have a 1060 6GB, i5-7500 3.40GHz, 16GB 2133MHz of ram. Struggling a lot with the newer games, especially on the CPU end of things, it always seems to max out on pretty much whatever I play. Ram has also been a slight issue lately, playing lots of Arma 3 hosting servers which eats it all up (constantly sitting at 16/16GB ram). I am in no need for any peripherals or storage, upgraded my pc a few years back with a 2TB SSD which I plan on switching over to my new pc. I'm always using two monitors, my main one being 144hz 2560x1440, and my other one being 60hz 1920x1080. I'm pretty lost already when it comes to picking out what I want, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I've always preferred Nvidia GPU's, but when it comes to the CPU I don't really have a preference. I'm extremely thankful if anyone has any suggestions!

Budget (including currency): Either £500 or £750 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p gaming (only 60hz) - minecraft, fortnite (not oftern). Programmer and coder, so fast and efficient for every day. Other details (I all ready have monitor, Alienware AW3418HW and got myself a hold of the Alienware Area 51 R2 case, looking to fill it, with a decent system) Currently using my dell inspiron 15 5667 (gaming) to power the monitor, but want a nice and quiet pc system. P.S. Not sure about how easy compatability for RGB of case with motherboard, so any tips on this would help. Any setup suggestions for setups for both £500 or £750 budgets.

Budget (including currency): RM 2K (500 USD) Country: Malaysia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FL Studio, Photoshop, AE/Premier/Resolve and gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have this build at least 3 years now and decided to upgrade it. I was originally wanted to go for R5 3600XT for the balanced workload of gaming and workstation setup (+ MORE CORES for basically the same price when I bought this CPU) but now I dun kno if it was necessary at all. Other program was running completely fine. If anything, I want at least have a bit more headroom for video editing programs coz they eat so much cpu utilization. I had other peripheral and important component, so those thing isn't my priority. Just the mobo and cpu from AMD.

So I was given the choice of picking 4-5 prebuilt machines that have been slightly upgraded already, but I don't know which ones to pick. I need help picking the best ones from the lineup. the choices and spec are below: OPTIPLEX 3040 Processor Type: INTEL CORE I5-6500 / Speed: 3.2 GHz / Memory Speed: 1600 / Memory Type: DDR3 / Size: 8 GB OPTIPLEX 3040 Processor Type: INTEL CORE I5-6500 / Speed: 3.2 GHz / Memory Speed: 1600 / Memory Type: DDR3 / Size: 8 GB ProDesk 400 G3 Processor Type: INTEL CORE I5-6500 / Speed: 3.2 GHz / Memory Speed: 2133 / Memory Type: DDR4 / Size: 8 GB PRODESK 600 G2 MT INTEL CORE I5-6500, Speed: 3.20GHZ, Size: 8 GB, HD Capacity: 1 TB ProDesk 400 G3 INTEL CORE I5-6500 / Speed: 3.2 GHz / Memory Speed: 2133 / Memory Type: DDR4 / Size: 8 GB ProDesk 400 G3 INTEL CORE I5-6500 / Speed: 3.2 GHz / Memory Speed: 2133 / Memory Type: DDR4 / Size: 8 GB IDEACENTRE 700-25ISH INTEL CORE I5-6400 / Speed: 2.7 GHz / Memory Speed: 2133 / Memory Type: DDR4 / Size: 8GB THINKSERVER TS140 INTEL XEON E3-1245 V3 / Speed: 3.40 GHZ / Memory Speed: 12800 / Memory Type: DDR3L / Size: 32GB Lenovo P320 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz / Speed: 4.20GHz / Memory Speed: 2133 / Memory Type: DDR4 / Size: 8 GB THINKSTATION P300 INTEL XEON E3-1241 V3 / Speed: 3.50 GHz / Memory Speed: 1600 / Memory Type: DDR3 / Size: 4 GB These are each of the computers. Some of them do have GPU's but they are fairly old and don't have more than 1GB so they will all be replaced. I was thinking of not using any of the XEONs and only using the i7 and the i5 that are using ddr4. I am also aware that most if not all will need a new PSU to supply enough power for the GPU and everything else. I am trying to purely focus on if the case is good enough to try and building in and if the hardware that's currently in there is worth the work of building in the case and my other hardware. my GPU's I have on hand is nothing newer than just a basic 2gb 1050 (not the Ti) and older. I think I have mostly 970 and 960s on hand

Budget (including currency): Budget for upgrading is 150 Pounds (207 USD and not including money for upgrading gpu) Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming/light video editing at 1080p Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So, I want to upgrade my computer my current parts are: MSI A320m-a Pro Ryzen 5 3600 Dell Rx 560 2gb (I already know I need to upgrade this, been looking at 3060/3060 Ti, Can't get one for obvious reasons) ADATA SU630 (SSD) 16Gb DDR4 3200mhz

Budget (including currency): Not very relevant, I'm just searching for the "top line" Country: Ukraine Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I just wan't my Doom Eternal to give me 60fps at minimal graphics on 1080p (but more is better of course) Current components: CPU: Intel Core i5-10400F 2.9 GHz 6-Core Processor Motherboard: ASRock B460M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1200 Motherboard RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-3200 CL18 Memory (planning to buy 2 more sticks if that's relevant) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive and Crucial BX500 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive PSU: Cooler Master MWE Bronze V2 500 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply And finally GPU: Radeon RX550/550 Series (yes I know, not exactly the best choice to put it mildly, but I was stupid and impatient) Also my monitor is 1080p and 60Hz I made this build about 2 months ago and quickly realized that my GPU turned out to be very lacking, so now I want to sell this one and buy a better one and am looking for tips on what would fit best here. Thanks to everyone in advance!

I just had some questions before upgrading my build. I'm planning on switching from an intel 7600k to a ryzen 5800x, and I wanna make sure I don't mess anything up. Questions I have: Will I have problems switching from intel to amd? Will I have to buy another windows license? Or will my old one still be good? I have a 250gb wd ssd, which is my bootup drive, in my current pc. If I need another windows license, do I still need the 250gb ssd? Or could I just use a different ssd? Thanks in advance!

Budget (including currency): unknown but not bank breaking Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Dayz, Csgo, tf2, Halo, minecraft, shadows of war, shadows of mordor, future games like warzone, elder scrolls, racing sims, new games I've wanted to play but never had the chance, maybe recording and editing music Other details (1060 3gb Nvidia Card, i5-7400, 8 gbs ram adding more soon, MSI b250m bazooka, unsure with the power supply): So I have had this prebuilt cyberpower (C series ET8064-2376) pc since 2017 or 2018. I bought it from a gentleman ,who used his console more and rarely every played on the gaming rig, for a trade of 330 cash and an old 720p polaroid hd tv i had at the time. I was around 16 or 17 when I got it. It retailed for about 1000 to 1100 in that range and has done me good for a while. Got me through a lot of CS:GO which has been my main played game ever since starting in 2015. Im having issues where i'm just not having enough power anymore when it comes to new games. Cant play warzone bc its too intense. Modded Dayz is slow for me and drops frames bc it needs a lot of ram. CSGO i only get 150 frames on average. The new halo I don't even meet system requirements, even though I was still able to play it after a couple games it would crash all together. Rust I bought but cant even run and it takes ages to get into a server with all the preloads you do when connecting. My parts are for the most part outdated and I plan to upgrade. I have buddies I can have help me build a new pc or upgrade using my existing case. I'm also 20 now and i'm sure its not rocket science so. Would it be plausible to save money to build a complete new rig and attempt to sell my old one( might be difficult given the parts are pretty dated.)What are the best bang for your buck parts that will get me through the next 3 to 5 years of gaming without too much drag. I would really appreciate the help. If using a monthly payment option on a website is feasible I could also look into that route. Thanks, Zach Bonus: This is my pc case and is very similar overall to what I have in visible parts. I couldnt find a direct buying ling to my current pc due to its 5 to 6 year age

Budget (including currency): $60 USD for Ram I currently have an 8 gig AD4S240038G17-B GENUINE ADATA DESKTOP MEMORY 8GB DDR4 PC4-19200 UDIMM chip in my MSI B250M Bazooka Motherboard. I am needing more ram because I play dayz with mods and 8 just isnt cutting it. My ram is maxing out so im trying to see where to go with having 16 gb or 24 gb. I dont want to just throw the ram stick i have now in the drawer. What are my possibilities with what I have. I also have an i5-7400 and a 1060 3gb nvidia graphics card. Also since doing research I found that in cpu Z. My uncored ram is at 3000 mhz but my dram is at 1199.8 mhz which is 2400mhz almost exactly. Do I have anything to worry about and is mixing and matching fine doing a 16+8 setup in a single to double channel. I watched linus's video from february of this year and got soem answer but im still very confused. https://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Power-3200MHz-Heatsink-SP016GXLZU320BDAJ5/dp/B08QV1V17R/ref=sr_1_14?crid=27GIX6L1HGD60&keywords=ddr4+ram&qid=1638680600&s=electronics&sprefix=ddr4+r%2Celectronics%2C177&sr=1-14 https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-2400MHz-PC4-19200-Unbuffered-Computer/dp/B01LE0CG60/ref=sr_1_26?keywords=ddr4%2Bram&qid=1638672321&refinements=p_n_feature_twenty_browse-bin%3A16158157011&rnid=9729693011&s=pc&sr=1-26&th=1 Are either of these suitable for my needs. Hi folks, Looking at upgrading my CPU (Ryzen 7 1700x) and RAM (16G G.Skill SK Hynix) but wanted some clarification before I went ahead with it. Based on my MOBO manufacturers website (MSI x370 SLI PLUS - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X370-SLI-PLUS/support#support-cpu), there are RAM compatibility requirements based on the CPU not just the MOBO. I'm planning on getting a 3000 series Ryzen and confident that will be compatible MOBO (after a BIOs update) but will I also have to get RAM that is specifically on the manufacturers website? Cheers!
