Another Saturday, another meetup. This time we actually tried one of the suggested war games and had a blast until the server decided to boot us of. After that we tried to get another group shot which failed horribly due to other players. Setting up the missile testing was equally interesting and revealing. Some stupidity and crashes later most of us have left and we did some more testing with the available ships (read Sabre) in Vanduul Swarm. As Always the whole thing was streamed to our YouTube Channel (this time without a piece of window hanging in the frame) Time table thanks to @colt92

***COMM LINK ESTABLISHED*** ***COMM MESSAGE INCOMING*** Operation Eden is to prepare the org for the baby pu .. Operation Trident tries to take it a step further, by introducing departments and helps fellow members to choose from various departments and sub departments by explaining the roles of each and thtracking which are recommended to play these roles. Since we have a large number of members with variety of ships . I took the liberty ( as a fellow member of uoltt ) to suggest the department structure for our organization . Firstly , my native language is not English and therefore I've tried my best to keep this post as readable as possible for everyone So please bare with me .. Thank you ! Secondly OPERATION TRIDENT doesn't take into account the fps module of the game and hence doesn't mention anything about the concerned roles or departments. OPERATION BLUE STAR the successor to OPERATION TRIDENT is supposed to extend upon the suggestions made by it by adding roles and departments concerned with the fps module. Stay tuned for details on OPERATION BLUE STAR ! Thirdly , OPERATION ARGUS which will follow BLUE STAR will suggest laws that all members and high council should abide by and also gives veto power to certain officials of the org and the high council. It will also provide suggestions on the election of org officials and the addition or removal of officials from their post , including the members of the high council. These are of course , merely suggestions and require the approval by founders to become laws. If you feel the need to suggest , omit or modify these , you are most welcome ! Since our founders like military style rank system , I think the categorization of tasks should be based on real life systems . Project Eden has classified the members in four groups namely 1. Military 2. Exploration 3. Mining 4. Salvage I would like to change this into 1. Military 2. Exploration 3. Mining 4. Support I will explain what each of them mean , and their sub divisions and what their roles will be in the org Let's star with the military : The role of the military is to :- 1. Capture and hold territories 2. Escort highly valuable assets of the org 3. Patrol the areas under conflict with other orgs or pirates and other valuable areas like mining fields 4. Intercept targets 5. Eliminate of targets 6. Take over certain areas of the org by the order of the high council under the act of treason. 1. Capturing and holding territories:- ( CHT ) Role :- I believe that we will be able to capture star systems , planets etc and setup our base in these areas like eve online . In order to make money , we will have to setup mining stations and should be able to capture areas Rich in minerals which are under control of other orgs. We should also capture areas of strategic importance like those star systems with jumppoints to other important star systems. These roles requires some serious fire power . So I would recommend using carrier fleets to do this. I will talk about the carrier fleets later. 2. Escorting high value assets or HVA's : High value assets include , big cargo ships carrying valuable minerals , mining ships , commanders , damaged frigates , carriers , corvettes and other expensive ships and valuable ships Which cannot protect themselves effectively. Recommended ships :- Avengers excluding Titans , cutlass black and blue ( or gold and white ? O_o ) , mustang deltas and alphas , 325A , 300i , hornets , gladius , Aurora ln , vanguard warden , gladiator , khartu-al , scythe , glaive and sabre. I wouldn't recommend ships any bigger than the warden or the sabre as they are not very effective for the task and are slow 3. Patrolling areas:- The mining fields which are close to disputed areas will be patrolled by the military. Other areas of the org which were taken over by the order of the high council will be patrolled by military too. Recommended ships :- same as the ones used for escorting . 4. Intercepting targets:- This includes intercepting enemy fleets to slow their advance towards uoltt captured areas and intercepting escaped fugitives and terminating them. Recommended ships :- 325A and gladius. These two ships are best for this job as they are some of the fastest ships we will ever have. And interceptors need to be fast. Glaive and khartu-al can also be used , but they are less common. 5. Eliminating targets :- We might need to eliminate certain targets like enemy mining outposts or certain enemy cargo fleets in order to cripple their economy . Recommended ships :- Heavy weight fighters , bombers and stealth ships. Stealth hornet, sabre , gladiator , vanguard warden and all bombers. These should ideally escorted by escort ships for their protection. 6. Take over certain start systems controlled by the org under the command of the high council. OPERATION ARGUS provides veto power to the high council which bypasses the chain of command and allows the high council to interact with squadrons and battalions directly to command them in certain situations . ***IN WORKS*** ***COMM MESSAGE ENDED*** ***COMM CHANNEL TERMINATED*** ***COMM LINK ESTABLISHED*** ***COMM CHANNEL RENAMED TO "SUGGESTIONS"*** ***AWAITING SUGGESTIONS***

Hey Guys, I know we had a little chat about it last night about us recording and trying to get some uploads from different perspectives. I was wondering if we had got any further than just the idea, I have started recording our games and I think a couple of us also have recordings so I was just gonna see if we were going to try and get anything sorted so we could get some cool vids out there

Only slightly more crash-y than last time we tried the wargame we did last week, again. This time with switched roles. And some more pictures were taken and of course there had to be some trolling Unfortunately while streaming my sound driver decided to go south and after 20 minutes I was missing the audio from discord. I'm already rendering the local recording and will upload it but for the time being you can listen to my soothing voice, without much distractions Now with more audio than before: And since we had some people recording I'll try to collect them and have a cut version of the wargame following later next week. Update: I totally forgot to upload the pictures

We've set up a TS for the org! Cmon in and say wazzup etc etc, We're doing a test run of the TS atm, if it proves popular, we'll probably go get a proper license and up the slot count. Keep in mind though that it is going to be used tonight for the org battle thing, so please, if the server gets full-ish and people who are playing cant connect, you're probably going to be asked to leave/kicked Rules and stuff: Don't be a dick I'll be on there quite a bit tonight playing SC and just hanging around, so feel free to come join me IP : ts.lttconglomerate.org

Okay guys. I've got a question. What do you want to accomplish long term with the org? For me, it's to get us, as an org as stable and as powerful as possible, with as much ease as possible. So, my goal list for the org at the moment is : Grow the org numbers Establish a workable community Set in place regulations and a format to elect members to the council Elect people to the council Engage the council in org management duties Elect members to special posts within the org (diplomat, etc) Wait for game to fully launch After this, my goals for SC post launch is : Establish a base of operations Secure base of operations Establish mining outposts Establish trade routes Establish manufacturing/trade control of a system Establish a defense force Establish a military Establish a command structure for military Establish a exploration hub and outposts Build sufficient credits to advance other secondary org goals Establish org run businesses such as insurance, etc Expand to a second system Rinse, repeat Anything else you would like to achieve? Currently the secondary org goals sit at : Complete OP:Monarch Gain control of a Carrack Have enough credits to offer org benefits (should be covered pretty quickly once the first tax cycle goes round)

Ok i couldn't find anything else saying anything about this. but is anyone in the faction participating in this? I think its a great idea and as star citizen will have a growing lore and history we have a chance to be a huge part of it by getting the UOLTT fully involved. Maybe we could make a signup sheet or something? I know im committing my constellation andromeda to the cause. Edit: Ive added a poll for extra razmataz purposes

Do you think UOLTT needs a custom soundpack for teamspeak, for users to download to enhance their experience over teamspeak? What about the unofficial LTT teamspeak, interested? This is just a poll to look at the interest. If there is a high level of votes with interest, then will proceed with working out all the details, management, deployment, hosting, legal, and forum-sourcing. Members of high council, your thoughts are welcomed. ixi_your_face Blade of Grass Slick - a shipless space peasant looking to assist the glorious UOLTT in some manner. ALL HAIL #2 ranked UOLTT!

Hey, fam. I'm creating this poll to help the op' team figure out some of the angles we will be using for operation planning. If you take the time to look at the poll shown above, you'll see what I'm talking about. I want to get a feel for how often you'll be playing as well as what gameplay aspects you'll be mostly engaged in, and not just what you plan on doing in the game. By taking this census you'll be helping us create better operations which will cater to every player type in the fleet. Specially because when we create the operations we really push for them to be as entertaining as possible, but we always feel we may be leaving some fleet-mates out. And keep in mind, we're creating operations but we are not group leaders or fleet leaders. We're regular members just like you.... Unless you're not a regular member. Well, in that case this doesn't apply to you at all so stay away from my poll. *DRUM ROL- This is just a case where the community is driving the fleet forward. High Council does whatever they can to help us all stay organized, but what we do and how we all have fun together is really up to us. It's one of the great features of joining a community like this, having a public forum for us to be creative, work together and in the end take over the Star Citizen universe. Another thing to note is that this poll will also help everyone have a better understanding as to what sort of experiences we may share with each other. Everyone has been so positive and working so well together, but there are certain things where only a fraction of the fleet will be collaborating on. Let's fix that. Since this is all for the fun of it, the team and I want to try to do whatever we can to help bring us all together as often as possible. So, yeah. Please, if you have time, just take the poll over the next week or so. Help us do the best we can for the fleet, please. Current operation status: Operation Monarch (On Hold) Operation Ocelot (Active) Operation Citadel (Inactive) Operation Dragon (Active) Operation Royal Salute (Finished) And two additional operations which will not be released to the public without strict consent from the High Council. --- Should you wish to answer via post along side of your poll vote, please use the following example as a guide and format: @b45op What type of player are you? (Please base this more on time investment) Weekend Warrior with some enthusiast playing based on schedule, if its planned in advance I can possibly accommodate it. What sort of gameplay is the most appealing for you? PVE and Solo flight, this fits my main play style of the happy go lucky hippie dude in the banged out freelancer, However I am available for PVP should the requirement arise hence the 325a in my hanger. I might know which way the guns point. What operation type do you find the most appealing? Due to schedule again I have opted for small scale, short time table, Group gain and Self gain (a dude has to make a living) --- Anyways, fam. Thanks again and we'll be talking to you later.

After all the waiting you've all had to endure, I am finally pleased to announce that Operation Royal Salute is now finished and active. We ran into an insane amount of delays which kept pushing back the dates over and over: Carpenter was not available for the job immediately and the second wanted much more than the quoted price; One key component of the gift had to be flown in from the other side of the country; Fittings were not available locally; And the print shop's large printer was being repaired for over 2 weeks. But the community stuck behind us and we finished with what's appearing to be amazing results. The package will be arriving soon so we will have 2 full weeks to have it aired on Wingman. I think they'll choose it to be. Thank you UOLTT fleet. And above all else we want to express an extra bit gratitude to the following members. Though this is a fleet gift, this would never had been possible without you. @ixi_your_face @Hazy125 @foxhound590 @looney @Str_Mape @OMEGA SUPREME @Wauthar @DaRk0 @b45op @CatCloud @Jobobee @Thunderjolt @XiaoPigs Mega thanks to Josh Bill for the cedar box and Mark over at CopyWright in Tacoma, WA for the poster and label prints. Additional mega thanks goes to: @Artofinca for creating and providing both the LTT poster and the container label. These are absolutely amazing. @iLash for creating the UOLTT logo which we all know and love. @Nit3Rid3R, @LukaP and @Jobobee for all the support through the creation. So please enjoy the following build log. And thank you again. Operation Royal Salute. Notes: -EDIT- 23/05/14 at 2034: Adding the images and logs below in following posts. -EDIT- 23/05/14 at 2111: Added photos of the main contents to the gift. -EDIT- 23/05/14 at 2236: Added photos of weathering, fittings, staining, sealing and all foam work. -EDIT- 23/05/14 at 2245: Added photos of the finished product and the packaging methods. Now, noone bite my head off for the shipping time. The expected delivery date is 29/05/14 or 30/05/14. The shipping price to get it there by Tuesday was $320. The shipping price to get it there by Wednesday was $265 The shipping price to get it there by Thursday was $175 And the shipping price to get it there by Thursday or Friday was $75.27 Since I was covering the additional charges that went over the budget, and believe me we went over, I had to go with $75.27 to get it shipped out tonight since I didn't want to wait to have a fundraiser since there's no way it was gonna be featured on next episode anyways. Memorial Day weekend. But... It's on it's way and it'll have a full 2 weeks and 2 episodes to be featured on Wingman's. So mission complete, fam. And good luck getting through all the thumbnails. -Edit- 30/05/14 at 2350

So, I was just wondering, since the initial percentages for distribution of ships in the LTT Conglomerate were calculated the number of members has near quadrupled, which ships people will primarily be using? I'm just curious to see what the proportions are, which are the most popular ships and so on.
