Hi, is it normal for the battery of my Galaxy tab s9 ultra to drain slowly, while being conected to a ugreen hub (100w pass) and my hub conected to a ugreen 65w charger and a hdmi 4k Tv (self powered). I would expect to charge the tablet since the tv is powered and I'm conected via the hub to a 65w charger and not many applications are running.

First of all, if you're in the "the eye can't see more than 24FPS" camp, this post is not for you. If you want to comment "this doesn't happen for me, my phone is smooth", then try the tests I'm gonna share below and you're going to see that your device is affected as well, but you just don't notice it, which is completely fine. If you're happy with your device, nobody can take that away from you. Personally, I've always been super sensible in regard to frame rate variance. This has been the bane of my existence as even small stutters are noticeable and annoying to me. I can tell the difference between 30, 60, 90 , 120 and 140 FPS in a blind test. Ever since I got this phone 2 months ago I felt like something was off with it and would feel stutters here and there, but would be shocked to see that most people, especially reviewers would say that the phone is the smoothest out of all the phones that are currently out. If you want to test this out on your device as well, just go to Developer Options and enable GPUWatch. This will allow you to have an FPS Graph on your screen. Keep in mind that in my examples due to the screen recording being turned on, the FPS is capped to 60 but either way, the drops still happen regardless of being in the 60hz or 120hz mode. Follow the FPS graph on the upper left side of the screen. Let's start with an example of "everything works as expected" Here's me scrolling aggressively in Sync and Google Chrome. FPS is pretty much locked, with only minor dips which are impossible to notice. Here's an example of FPS drops I'm literally scrolling the home screen and App Drawer, and the frame rate is all over the place. Going to the left side to the Google Feed seems to trigger the most drastic drop, but sometimes this would also happen by simply going through the apps list or dragging the notification drawer. These drops are definitely noticeable. Here's an example of a horrendous drop I believe that this might be a bug, as it seems to almost happen consistently on Facebook, when sponsored posts show up, however, I'm including it either way. The framerate tanks as long as the sponsored post is in view, and then returns to normal as soon as it's no longer on the screen. Notes: Using the "show refresh rate" developer setting is not relevant here. It will show you a value of 120hz pretty much constantly as long as you're touching the screen. Refresh rate is not equal to framerate. You can have a refresh rate of 120hz and 30FPS, which will make everything still feel like 30FPS would feel. The examples that I've given above are just a few. This behavior can be noticed in multiple apps and sections of the screen. Sometimes it feels random, while others are consistent. The excuse that "developers did not optimize their apps" is not something acceptable. We're literally seeing drops in the OneUI home screen. I believe Samsung is doing something wrong with the variable refresh rate (possibly having the timeout way too short?) which leads to this horrendous performance. I don't really expect anything to change, since I know that a lot of people can't even tell the difference between 60 and 120hz, so I'm in a minority of users that actually notice this stuff. The fact that Samsung's top of the line product in 2023 can behave so poorly is mindboggling. There are midrange phones out there that do not have this issue.

Hello! I am thinking to buy a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and I have never used a Samsung phone before so I was wondering what storage option should I choose? Indian Variants: 12 / 256GB 12 / 512GB 12 / 1TB I am not a photoholic, but I may click some photos here and there like the swags I receive from companies and maybe click photos of vacations(very less frequent) but I do store a good amount of screenshots. How much usable storage is there when you first turn on the phone? Is there any bloatware? Is it removable? How much storage does it take? How much storage does the system take? I may download shows for offline viewing from netflix and amazon prime when I go for a trip or something... Probably 1-2 seasons with 24 episodes maybe more depends on the trip...

I recently won an s22 ultra from the DBrand giveaway, I've heard the s22 can't do 8k @30fps. But why? I know the s21 ultra can, why not the s22? Thanks

Budget (including currency): £ n/a Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Yesterday I made a post about upgrading my current setup (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/jmKwQq) to try and play upcoming games in 1440p @144Hz, however, this doesn't seem very feasible (thank you guys for all the solid advice!). In lieu of this, can anyone advise me as to which GPU would still get the most out of my non-OC'd i7-3770k for 1080p 60Hz gaming at max settings on the most demanding mainstream games; Tomb Raider, The Witcher, Battlefield, Fallen Order, Cyberpunk etc. As a side note, I also have the very same question about upgrading a second system based around a m-ATX board, Pentium G4560 dual core and a 1050ti.

I was wondering if a AMD A10 7890k can run a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor. I'm giving my old LG curved ultrawide to my parents and I didn't know if the A10 can handle that resolution for everyday use and Facebook games.

wondering if anyone has tried the sata cable in the link? https://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-90-Degree-Low-Profile-Connectors-CP11B-300/dp/B00KTLGDGA i know its just a sata cable but i want something with a small plug to avoid gpu interference but don't wanna waste my money if these are unreliable or poor quality, also thought on using these on a small atx build where space saving is essential?

I'm looking for a Monitor Arm for my Acer Predator X34 that I had just purchased at Nebraska Furniture Market (For those outside of the cities they are located, they are basically IKEAs). I've been trying to search for the mounts/arms online and all I'm getting are mounts/arms for 27" monitors. I'm looking to spend a max of $75 on the mount/arm

Hi guys Thus is my first post on this forum. The reason I signed up is that I'm having trouble deciding on a new monitor I currently have a 24 inch 60htz 1080p monitor and think it's just to small. I went to the scan horwich store and got to try an ultra wide monitor the £1150 Asus one with gsync which is displayed next to the 27 inch rog swift I think it was and found the ultra wide looked amazing. Now the Asus goes to 100htz and when I put vysnc on just to see if I could notice 60htz going to 100htz I didn't see the difference. But 1440 resolution looked great so looking online I find the 34uc88 which would fit the color theme of my setup but the reviews all seem to say this is not a gaming monitor? Does the term gaming come mainly from what hurtz the monitor goes up to? the z35 has 1080 resolution and 144 hurtz but the resolution is to small for 1080p at that size of screen for me.so why is it more gamery than a 1440 at 60 htz. I currently have a gtx 970 but don't feel it matters if I get g sync or freesync as a new gpu will get bought next year anyway. My desk is 60cm deep. Does any one here have a 34 inch ultra wide on that size of desk. I have a friend who has the x34 on same size of desk but the stand is insanely big and has the point at the front all the way on to his mouse mat which would drive me crazy. Which is another reason why I was looking at the LG 34uc88. The prices that these ultra wide are on make this a massive decision for me as I feel a monitor should last many many years and want to buy the right one going forward. Another note is that my desk is glass and I can't put a monitor arm on it to put the monitor any further back than what the stand it comes with allows. Thank you for reading. I know most of this is general thought's and waffle.

Hello there! I have a Core 2 Duo machine (E7500 OC @3.35ghz) paired with a GTX 970. Basically, my new motherboard for my new CPU is taking some time to deliver. So, I am stuck with this for the moment. I was thinking of playing GTA V and was thinking what settings to play on. I have two displays, one is 1920x1080 @ 60HZ and the other is 1280x800 @ 75HZ. Is choosing any make it more cpu dependent? I am also confused on how game settings work. If i choose low settings, lets say cpu workload is x and gpu workload is y. If i choose high settings, will cpu workload stay at x and gpu workload increase from y or does cpu workload also increase? GTA V is a terrible game for this type of setup as it is more CPU dependent, i know. Thanks for taking the time to read!

I currently have a small LG 25" ultrawide/ 21:9 monitor. I want to upgrade to a higher size and hopefully at least 1440p - I don't think there's anything larger in 21:9. In addition to that, I'm thinking of looking for one that is curved. My question is, is a curved 21:9 monitor worth it? Has anyone tried one and compared the experience to a monitor that is not curved? I intend to do mostly everything on the monitor. Gaming, movies, work, word processing, programming, web development and some other things I have probably forgotten. I also game on consoles sometimes so I would be restricted to 16:9 but that isn't really a problem for me - the Xbox is in reality just a Halo machine. Putting programming and in particular web development out there, where straight lines can become important, would the monitor being curved hinder my ability to accurately make websites? I'm wondering whether the curve perverts straight lines or not. Or whether it makes them look more natural instead.

I have been buying parts because they are on sale. I am planing to build a 1080p Monster on 144hz. i want to run the most demanding games on 100% maxed out settings 1080p on 144 fps example ghost recon wildlands. At least that is my goal. I got all the parts except the graphic card and i happen to own a 1080p 144hz freesync monitor. Now i saw the new rx vega 64 and everyone says it will be at 1080 levels and not close to the 1080ti. I dont want to change my monitor however i dont mind throwing an extra 300 dollars for a 1080 ti because it is kinda futureproofing. So the question becomes, Is adaptive sync technology worth it? what would you guys go for? 1080 ti and give up freesync or a 1080 level card with freesync if you wanted ultra 144hz gaming experince? Specs: Ryzen 5 1600x be quite pure rock (fan replaced with ml120 pro by corsair) Asus prime b350 plus 16gb of corsair lpx vengeance ram clocked on 3000mhz evga supernova 750b1 ( so watercooled rx vega is not a problem) 750 watt 250gb samsung evo 3tb seagate barracuda 7200rpm hdd phanteks eclipse p400s 4x 140mm sp corsair fans for intake 1x 120mm af corsair fan for exaust all intake is dust filtered gpu not sure either 1080ti or rx vega 64 water or air cooled gimme any advice about my build as well, thanks
