I've narrowed down my choices for an external monitor to get for my laptop MSI 860m Asus Vg248qe vs Dell U2414H I play somewhat competitive games like Overwatch And CSGO But im sensitive to picture quality since I like to play AAA RPG's and casual games with great graphics like Witcher 3, mass effect andromeda and skyrim with enhanced graphics mods. I've seen reviews on both monitors and here is what I found: Asus VG248QE: Excellent for gaming 1ms response time and low input lag BETTER color quality compared to some TN panels of same price like benQ but not better than an IPS panel. Dell U2414H : Excellent picture quality IPS panel 8ms response time but very low input lag which is good Some reviews even say that for FPS flick shooting games this monitor performs good compared to other IPS panels (can anyone who owns this monitor confirm this) My level of "competitiveness" in Overwatch (currently 3100 diamond SR) And CSGO(currently master guardian 1) What I'm trying to say is, I'm not a professional gamer but im better than average... But I want good image quality. Should I get the asus one for the faster response time and 144hz(even tho my gpu can't output more than 60hz) Or should I get the Dell U2414H that has better colors with decent response time and low input lag

I need to replace my 10 years old NEC MultySync 20WGX2 and I could get good deal on Dell U2414H. But... The more I read about it more I'm getting discouraged to buy it. Some of the points: -I would like to use it with Nvidia card and DP. There was a problem with RGB range being limited and monitor in TV mode. I don't know if that was repaired but it sounds very bad. (also some various problems with DP) -backlight bleed on left down and right upper corner -IPS glow (mentioned on this review site https://www.overclockers.ru/lab/58872/Dolgozhdannoe_obnovlenie_obzor_i_testirovanie_monitora_Dell_U2414H.html -use translate page) I'm coming from glossy screen, will matte screen look too bad? Also, NEC had 97ppi density and Dell has 92ppi. Will I notice that difference? What about going from 16:10 to 16:9? I will be using it for coding, some photoshop, movies and Youtube, casual gaming. Any input is welcome. Thanks!

Hey, Could I run 3 Dell U2414h's on a Pentium 4250? (Intel 530) Through DP ideally. Is this possible?

Been using a crappy 22" inch TV that only supports 720p. Been looking for a monitor to upgrade to, and IPS monitors have caught my attention, particularly the Dell U2414H and the S2415H, because of their super slim bezels. Which one should I go for, or are there better monitors with thin bezels out there?

Hello..so..I've been saving some money the last few weeks and I have come to the conclusion I need a new monitor. My current one is an LG E2260 FLATRON. It has terrible colors, viewing angels, only one VGA connection and that's that. I've been having this monitor for 4.5 years and I always wanted to upgrade due to the reasons mentioned above. Now, I've been lurking on this site for quite a while and I noticed that everyone here likes the DELL U2414H as a monitor, whether it is for gaming or videos-movies, photoshop and movie editing. I have seen many reviews on many websites about it but not really a GOOD informative video on youtube so that's that. I want a monitor for gaming that my build can handle. I'm really really tempted to get the DELL but I'm just afraid that I'll go overkill and I don't know why I see this monitor as a high class video editing - photoshop monitor, so basically if I want a gaming monitor I'll go overkill with it. No reason, get it? I'm playing games like League of Legends and CS:GO - Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm. I play LoL at quite a high division so will the DELL U2414H cause a problem regarding anything? Anyway, my current build is : MOBO : ASUS Z97-C CPU : G3258 GPU : R9 270 RAM : 8GB 1866hz SSD : 250 850 EVO What's your thoughts about it? Also, my budget is around 200 pounds (UK) if you can recommend something. I'm flooded with options and I don't know what to do..

Hey guys, so I'm looking to get a monitor(s) for my new rig (4690k+r9 290x vapor-x 8gb) and I will be gaming on far cry, cs go, minecraft (mainly I game on CS GO). I was set on the U2414Hs but then I discovered how 144hz monitors can improve game play tons. Bare in mine that I will be only gaming on one monitor and also that my budget is roughly £700.

Pros and cons of the Dell ultrasharp U2414H for gaming, working and pretty much everything. And dual monitor setups.

Ladies, Gentlemen and / or other assorted Genders of the LTT Forums, I would like to propose a question to you. No I am not asking you to marry me, my apologies. No I happen to have a question relating to PC Displays (or Monitors depending on where you're from). If you would be so kind as to let me explain the story first: My friend and I are currently looking to upgrade our #PCMasterRace machines. Well...technically he already did and is just looking for a monitor and I'm the only one who still needs to upgrade. However, we are currently looking at a couple of new Displays (Monitors) for our machines and we were wondering a couple of things. First off let me introduce our candidates. First up is the Dell U2414H, a 23,8 inch, 16 by 9, Full HD (1920x1080), AH-IPS, LED screen that is boasting an 8ms response time and a 60Hz refresh rate. Great viewing angles, high contrast, etc. And all of this can be yours (or ours) for a mere € 214.40 ($240.62 USD) including shipping. However, the U2414HH is competing with it's bigger brother the U2715H, a 27 inch, 16 by 9, 1440p (2560x1440), IPS, LED screen that nearly has the same specs as it's little brother, how ever it's response times are just a tad faster at 6ms compared to the 8ms on the 2414. This big boy how ever will set you (or us) back a whopping € 482,95 ($542.02 USD) including shipping. Oh and both monitors also have things like DisplayPort daisy-chaining and some other shenanigans like that that, realistically we don't care about. The main difference between these two bad boys being the size difference (that's what she said), the resolution and the price. Now my question to you wonderful and lovely people is as follows: Are those 3 inches of space and is are those extra pixels that 1440p boasts worth roughly 270 euro's (or 303 USD)? Is 1440p that much of an upgrade compared to 1080 and are those 3 inches worth that much (she said yes )? Especially my friend is doubting this decision. I myself have kind of settled for the 2414 because it is so much cheaper and you can get two for the price of the 2715. How ever I'm curious as to the insight of the mighty and powerful #LTTForumzz1337. Let me know fols, keen to pick your brains about this...well not literally of course I mean it's not like I'm a zombie...right? .......RIGHT?

I ordered the U2414H from Dell Canada on Black Friday since it was a pretty good deal at $229 Canadian. My estimated delivery date has been December 18th, but was just updated to February 3rd I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation.

Hey everyone, I want to buy 3 U2414H for gaming, but also to connect it to my cable box over HDMI and watch TV. I thought to buy Dell's Soundbar AC511 The question is if will the monitor accept audio through the HDMI port and output it through the sound bar? Hi Guys, I need some help now that I have multiple displays. I'm currently using 2x U2414h (HDMI to HDMI and DP to miniDP) and an Asus VS248H-P(DVI to DVI). The HDMI cable is some spare cable we have around the house, I'm using the cable that was in the box with the u2414h(DP to miniDP) and VS248H-P(DVI to DVI). I set up my Skype on my left monitor (u2414h using HDMI) and i use my main u2414h. When i close my left monitor, i hear a sound how a USB disconnects and the Skype window gets shifted to my main monitor. When i have it on my right monitor (Asus), the window stays there. Is there a settings i can change so that whatever window i have on my left monitor does not shift to my main when i turn off the left u2414h? I never had this issue before when i was using my Asus monitor and my old LG tv/monitor screen. I'm using a Windows 8.1 OS and an Asus GTX 780. I am going to buy one Dell U2414h now, and going to add 2 more. First, where is the cheapest place I can buy one? I found $262.53 so far on Amazon, but there is probably a cheaper way to buy it. Second, what GPU would you reccomend, $300-$400 budget USD. Can I daisy-chain these monitors while using NVidia Surround? Also looking for 70fps on BF4 Ultra (Why 70 fps on a 60hz??? ANTI-ALIASING!!!) Tell me if I would have any problems and recommend me some gpus, thanks!
