Hi, yesterday I bought a brand new MacBook Pro from Apple. I did a clean set up from absolute zero and in Hungarian. Seemingly everything went just fine, texts shows up in Hungarian, but as I said it in the title, some notification, like the software update and the display settings, show up in Chinese (it might be another east-asian language, I'm sorry). I'll attack a picture, sorry for the bad quality. Could someone help me out with this one? I have never a mac before, I have no idea what to do. So far I have tried to restart the laptop and tried changing the system language to English and then change it back to Hungarian.

Hi Guys. I’m hopeful that someone might be able to assist me. I recently got a new Sony XR75X90L 4K tv with 120Hz refresh rate that I use as a monitor for my PC. my pc runs on windows 10 and I have a GeForce RTX 3080TI 12Gb graphics card. I also run a 8k UHD 48GB HDMI cable connected between the tv and my pc. ( so I can take advantage of the 4K at 120Hz refresh rate) The issue I am having is that my pc seems to drop the audio to the tv and connected sound system at a random time frame. Between 30min and 2 hours of playing games the sound cuts out and there is nothing. When you look at the volume level on system tools you can still see the audio bards moving but there is no sound coming from the tv or Attached sound system. If you press the menu button on the TV remote you can still hear the chime that the remote button make playing through the tv and the attached sound system which makes me think it’s an issue with my pc and not the tv. Sometimes I unplug the HDMI cable from the tv or my pc and plug it back in and the sound works again for a period of time before doing the same thing. Other times that won’t even work and I have to restart the pc for it to work. I have tried changing audio settings on my tv and my pc and have updated my drivers as well. I have been looking for answers everywhere and haven’t had much luck even though there are a few people experiencing similar issues. when I was using my old tv I had no issues whatsoever. Any help that you may be able to provide me would be greatly appreciated. not sure what else to do. thanks.

All of a sudden the net goes away and says ethernet is simply not properly connected. If I unplug the internet cable and plug it back in, everything is fine again. I don't understand why this problem keeps happening. If I unplug my ethernet cable and plug it back in, everything is fine. Again a week later the same thing happened. Does anyone know the solution? Hi I posted here a few weeks ago but I still having problems to see if anyone could help me. To summarize: For the last day my computer had been unable to detect any network. I have gone into my network and sharing center and check my Ethernet status and it’s displaying the correct internet speed. I have also connected the Ethernet cable to my laptop and confirmed that it’s connection work in that case. I have tried resetting the router. Downloading and installing updated network adapter drivers and flushing and renewing my dns. I also tried turning off the firewall for one try but no luck. I bought a PCIe Ethernet card and a usb wifi card to see if any of those work work but I get the same results. When I run trouble shooter I get this error "your computer appears to be correctly configured but mincrosoft.com is not responding" I even went through my internet providers terrible support system but all they did was reset my internet name and password. Any help would be greatly appreated with this issue as I am about ready to rip my hair out working on it.

I believe that means there is data activity with a connection.

(my first build) I turn on my pc for gaming then game then it automatically shuts down after about an hour(I purposely set it that way so that I don't play overtime), Then Sometimes I want to play more so I turn it back on but it doesn't turn on, it loops through cpu and Dram(Lights on my mother board keeps switching to cpu then Dram normally it's supposed to go CPU-Dram-VGA-Boot). I tested it out if i just shut down regularly to see if the force timer shut down was the problem but when I turn on my pc and turn it off right away it turns on fine after, when I launch a game and play for a bit then shut it off it doesn't turn on again. I always have to wait at least 5 or 10 min. Hello all, my first post here about my first build which i have no idea how this happened. specs: Ryzen 7 5800x msi b550 tomahawk AIO Nzxt Z73 msi 3070 So i had just finished installing all my drivers, updates, and updated my bios to the latest (not the beta) build. I also enabled XMP and turned precision boost overdrive to auto and then eventually off. When I went to download NZXT CAM, to control the lighting on the AIO then i’m not sure when, how, or what I touched on the CAM app but all of sudden my temps rose to a steady 58 degrees fahrenheit. They were at a stable 30 ish 40 before this and my fans cranked all the way up and i check on task manager and hold behold my cpu is clocking in at 4.7ghz. Does anyone know how i can get it back to the normal base clock speeds? I tried uninstalling the cam app, making a new profile and reverting back to those, turning off xmp, and “removing” the cmos battery and still nothing. i’m afraid to start gaming on it because i don’t think my motherboard could handle the high clock rate and temps. Does anyone know any other way to lower my clock rates back to the basic out of the box rates? Everytime i check the bios it says it’s running at 3.8 ghz when in reality it isn’t. Please and Thank you

So I was 1Day 19Hrs in on a 4 day print when I came home to see that the entire print had shifted 1/8inch towards the back. The print was well secured to the bed and it just seemed to have been a slicing issue. BUT I did a test print with a file I had sliced and printed before which just exploded into a nest. I dont have any pictures just because I was so upset I tried to fix the first one to hopefully fix it but couldn't and I was just passed off with the second one. I still have the first print but I got rid of the second one.

OK so my PC has stop booting and posting, when I plug in the cable to the psu it starts without pressing the power button, there is no display output at all, the fans go straight to max rpm, there is no beeps or bios nothing, not even power to my keyboard and mouse, the power button on my case doesn't do anything, the only way to turn off the PC is to unplug the psu? Any ideas guys, I'm in quite the pickle... BTW its a dell pre built, the motherboard is a H11H4-AD and I feel that's the issue but I really really can't afford a replacement so any help would be golden!

I built the pc, installed windows, and fired it up. After starting to download drivers, I went and chilled to wait for the hour downloads to finish. When I came back the Monitor was dark and wouldn't wake up, so I pressed the power button and waited for it to shut down, then turned it back on. It booted into the ssd, brought up the windows lock screen, and as i started to type in the password, the monitor froze. I couldn't move the mouse or anything. I powered down the pc again adn turned it back on. Now it won't boot into the ssd anymore. Any Ideas? Parts used: i5-9400F Aorus z390 Elite MSI Geforce GTX 1050ti

Hello, thanks for stopping by ; was wondering if anyone can help me. Whenever my computer goes to sleep I often am unable to wake it up unless I replug into a different port on my wall outlet; keyboard, mouse and power button do nothing. My computer sometimes doesn't even sleep at all despite being idle for hours, sometimes it does after 15 mins. The other day my computer also couldn't boot up unless I replugged into a different outlet. I have tried various guides online already but have no success: - Mouse and Keyboard permission to wake device - Disable USB power saving and suspending - Update Display and Graphics drivers - Turn off fast startup - Windows power trouble shooter - Reenable hibernation, I think PC Specs: Motherboard - Asus strix B550 A gaming Graphics - Gigabyte Vision RTX 3080 CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU Cooler - be quiet! Pure Loop 360mm AIO PSU - be quiet! 1000W Straight Power 11 80+ Gold Power Supply RAM - Corsair 16gb DDR4 3200 Storage - 1x Samsung 250 gb nvme SSD, 1x Samsung 1tb pcie gen nvme SSD, 1x Samsung 500 gb SSD, 1x Western Digital 500 gb m.2 ssd, 1x Western Digital 1tb HDD I have yet to try replugging everything. I'm thinking its either a PSU, motherboard or wall outlet issue; however, my pc runs fine otherwise.

Alright so I just started building my gaming computer with my dad today for 5 hours and we finished everything and then when we turned on the power supply the motherboard lights up and turns on but my ram took a while to turn on and the cpu fan and case fans won't turn on. We are still waiting on the graphics card to arrive this upcoming monday or Wednesday. Do I need the graphics card to turn on the fans or is it threw the bios???

so i got a dell optiplex and put it into a new case, then added a new psu and older second hand graphics card, the pc was worken fine before i put the new stuff in even after the psu was in it was working, then i added the graphics card drivers then the pc froze when the driver was installing on 95% then after that the issues came so im guessing its a corrupt display driver, but the pc isnt stable, i cant restore windows to an earlier point of time because it will just crash. what can i do??? specs i5 2400k dell optiplex mobo 6gb ddr3 ram msi radeon hd 7850 oh yeah the cpu wire has an extension i got off amazon on it and the gpu was running off 2 molex to a 8 pin ( ik its a bad idea) and the gpu is a 6pin so i just plugged in 6 of the pins leaving 2 out and i took the gpu out and im having the same problem

Okay so my pc had been playing up lately and my internet will drop out for days and when I diagnose this issue the wifi card says my internet isn’t in range even though when I’m connected it’s full bars, it’ll randomly connect every known and then and work fine but until then it’s useless no matter where I put it it cannot find my router, I’ve diagnosed the wifi card, restarted my pc, removed and readded my internet, done a network reset and nothing :/ Diagnosis: “None of the networks you have previously connected to are in range” Edit: I have the latest drivers too

Hi everyone and thank you for looking.. Lets start with pc specs windows 10 64bit latest build ( ryzen 5 3600, 32gb corsair vengence 3200mhz 16-18-18-18-36, asus prime b450 plus running the latest bios as of december 25th , gtx 1080ti FE, 250gb nvme for os and 1tb baracuda 7200rpm hd for games and a corsair cv650 psu)... right now onto my issue I am finding my pc is randomly hitching in games like the whole thing freezes even the coil whine from the gpu stops and in vr with the rift cv1 the hitching is more often.. I have tried reinstalling windows installing drivers etc and updates still does it. The only obvious thing i can see is my pc has a rgb strip in the front pannel and when under a full game load it goes nuts and flashes like crazy so was maby thinking a psu issue just wanted to get some feedback from people alot more tech savvy then me lol.. Thank you in advance

I bought this R9 270x for $50 at an auction and wanted to put it in my new build as a substitute while the 3070 comes available. so I finished my build with an i5-9600k and plugged it into the x16 slot and nothing I saw a similiar post to this one but it didnt solve my issue and it said "this post is old, rather start a new thread than to revive this one." so decided to come to the forums for help. so yea it run the fans spin and fluctuat as programs run but theres no display, I tryed installing radeon graphics driver and it said "incompatible build" and the support page said the card is improperly installed and is not detecting radeon hardware when its literally slotted in with power running and fans spinnin I went into my MSI Z-390 A-pro motherboard's bios and it didnt detect it(or im not seeing it atleast). I even disabled onboard/integrated graphics and took out my GT 1030 and forced it to look for PCI-E video but nothing. so the other post said to press the button on the card but ive already tried it. mabye im not getting something, or im doing something wrong. oh and also updated windows to the 2020 version from the 2004 build so... if anyone has the solution great but if not I guess I can manage a $50 loss.

cpu HELP i9 12900k CPU causing BSOD/Crashes
Otaku ikigai posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Ever since I installed the i9 12900k CPU into my build it has been a crashing nightmare.(BSOD, and game crashes) I collected several memory.dmp files and it all seemed to lead towards kernel crashes. It happens in any game I play after a random amount of time I play. I reinstalled Windows 3 times, I tried dxdiag/SFC, aswell as updating all windows files / GPU / bios / chipset and all mobo updates. I even swapped out my RAM and would still have the same issues. XMP was enabled so I tried running with it disabled, it ended with the same result. I gave up on the issue thinking that it was a faulty chip, so borrowed my GF's 12700k CPU and did not run into any crashes for months to come. Eventually I got enough money to buy another 12900k to replace the prior, but after installing.. the same issues came back. I only crash when the 12900k CPU is installed. System Specs: MOBO: Asus z690 Maximus Extreme GPU: EVGA 3090 Kingpin RAM: CORSAIR Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 6200 SSD: SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2 2280 2TB PSU: Seasonic PRIME TX-1000, 1000W 80+ Titanium AIO: NZXT Kraken Z Series Z73 360mm CPU: You should know by now lol. I linked a .dmp file from my most recent game crash in Apex Legends. But this will also happen in Valheim, and VRChat. If anyone could help it would seriously mean so much, I have been dealing with this for way too long and it has been a MAJOR pain. - 00 000000cb`1c1ce268 00007ffa`efbc2a0e ntdll!NtWaitForSingleObject+0x14 01 000000cb`1c1ce270 00007ff7`641d3575 KERNELBASE!WaitForSingleObjectEx+0x8e 02 000000cb`1c1ce310 00000000`00000000 r5apex!GetDenuvoTimeTicketRequest+0x4a7b5 e68f91e2-f0bc-4dbd-a422-71f756a5f87c.dmp- 3 replies

I built my pc at the end of august and at first everything worked great but then I stopped playing games and didn’t boot up my pc for 2 weeks at most because college started and ever since I booted it up after that anytime I try to play any game after a couple minutes my screen goes to no signal with the pc still running. I tried updating the drivers and the bios but that didn’t help. I noticed that when I open task manager when my computer is idle my cpu usage says it’s at like 80% for a second then drops down to 1-4% don’t know if that’s just task manager opening or if something eating up my cpu usage. I tried unplugging my psu from the graphics card while pc was off and plugging it back in and that actually worked for a little bit but it’s doing it again. Any help would be appreciated Specs: Yeaston 3080 Sakura Ryzen 5 5600x Corsair vengeance 8gb ram x2 B550 pro-VDH wifi Aresgame AGK 750 psu I’ve had people tell me it’s a psu issue but I was wanting another opinion or a way to check if that’s the issue. Plus my psu is rated 80+ gold so idk why it would be psu unless there’s something wrong with it.

Hello there, I'm looking for some help solving this problem for a computer I am building for a friend. I built this computer outside the case and found that all the parts seemed to work, but when I put it together inside the case it wouldn't post(fans spin but no display out) about 1/4th the time. Through a long process of trouble shooting and rebuilding I found that the booting issues only happened when the Radeon Pro WX 9100 was put into the Asus Prime Z690-p WIFI D4's gen 5 PCIE x16 slot. I tried a few things to see if it would help get it to work. I reseated it a few times, made sure bios and drivers were up to date, and tried set the speeds to gen 3 in bios to see if it would help. It seemed more consistent, but it would still occasionally not post. I changed the slot it was in to one of the other gen4/gen3 slots and it seems to be working fine now, but I would like to get it work in the gen 5 slot, know why this wasn't working and if there would be a real world performance difference running this graphics card in the other slot. Specs: i7-12700k Asus Prime Z690-p WIFI D4 Radeon Pro WX 9100 4x16 G-Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3200 WD black 1TB nvme ssd Corsair AX860 Corsair 4000D airflow The power supply and the graphics card are from their older system. Tested this with another power supply and had the same results. Thank you for your time.

I know corsair power supplies have joint cpu and graphics card connectors on them. Could you plug a cpu cable into any vga connector for the extra 4 pin cpu power if you wanted to

For christmas (which was a while ago I know) I wanted to step up my graphics card, I was running with an NVIDIA and it wasnt to bad, sorry i dont remember what it was but it wasnt an amazing graphics card. I ended up buying a Radeon AMD RX 5700. Since then I have had non stop issues. My graphics averaged from about 40-70fps and with the old card i was running around 100-130fps. I had all the requirements for the card so i dont know why this new card was failing so much. Then i ungraded a few other things and im still not seeing any performance fixes. I now run the following: AMD RX 5700 24 GB ram Intel core i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00 GHz I have a ssd(128gb) and hdd(1Tb) ASROCK Fatal1ty B250 Gaming K4 mother board and more than enough power from the power supply, i believe 750w and again im barely able to hit 70fps and i have frame skipping all the time Please someone help, ive been struggling with this for far to long.

Hello. For some reason, my computer keeps crashing and completely freezes up while playing games Euro Truck Simulator and War Thunder. I'm not sure why it does this. I think it may be a fault within the ram but i'm not sure about it. It is specific to these two games so far, as I can play other games such as Arma 3 and Csgo perfectly fine with no errors. My specs are: Bitfenix NOVA case Gigabyte 990X gaming motherboard. AMD 8350 black edition (No over clocking, water cooled with Corsair H60 single fan.) MSI R9 380 (Factory clock, no tweaking) Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHZ 4GB DDR 3 x3 HyperX fury 1600MHZ 8GB DDR3 x1 kingstone 240GB ssd Seagate barracuda 1T Tp link pci-e internet card Aerocool VP pro 850 Watts I have not done any modding or tweeking for any of these parts, and i have had them for over 6 months. These problems have ony started appearing within the last month. Thank You.

javascript Need help with some javascript code. Just leaning
HoennHero posted a topic in Programming
Hello I'm wondering if I can get some input on This very simple program I'm writing as part of my learning javascript. what I'm trying to accomplish is to ask the user a question, using a prompt command. Take the data they provide and give one of two responses. This also might be the wrong place to ask this is so could you direct to a relevant source? The problem is that after asking the user for Yes or No the desired response is not displayed // I'm trying have the user enter Yes or No, this should be put into the variable answer, if im correct. var answer = prompt("Jacob loves Pizza, do you like pizza to? Yes or No?."); if (answer == Yes) { alert("Jacob is glad"); } if (answer == No) { alert("Jacob doesn't believe you..."); } //thanks in advance for any help!
