I am currently running three monitors (1x1440p @ 144 Hz, 2x1080p @ 144 Hz) with a Surface Book 2 using a DisplayLink hub and a USB-C to HDMI adapter. I am having some issues with the monitor running off the USB-C port being detected, as well as only the integrated graphics being used due to hardware limitations. I am looking to get a replacement computer to run these and am having a difficult time finding something that is small enough while having enough power to run all three monitors. I have looked at Intel NUCs and other SFF prebuilts, but would love any input you have about other good options. Requirements: -3 native display outputs or Thunderbolt to run multiple -Dedicated graphics -Small size -as affordable as possible

So my games have been getting very low fps on my RTX 3080 FTW with the games being run on one of my 3 monitors in 1080p (in game). I have a triple monitor setup with each monitor being 27in 1440p monitor with 144hz refresh rate. The specs for my computer are below: CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x Motherboard: ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming x570-plus Memory: 32GB (3200mhz) GSkill Trident Z Royalz Games are on Samsung Evo SSD Windows on separate SSD Graphics: RTX 3080 FTW Power supply: Corsair AX760 80+ Platinum Games i have been playing with low fps include: Destiny Call of Duty Warzone I have tried closing all windows and other programs and still get fps from 80-145fps in both of those games when in game. If anyone can help i would be very grateful. Thank you.

I have been dealing with a weird issue for a while now. I have an admittedly odd monitor set up, with 2 main pc monitors (that match each other) and a tv as a third screen. The monitors of course are side by side on my desk, and a tv a few feet to the right (part of an entertainment center, i watch movies and play games from my pc on the couch) the second monitor and TV are duplicated so the same content is on both screens. this works completely fine for everything but Youtubes, which drops alot of frames (over 2/3 of the frames sometimes looking at YouTubes "stats for nerds" info) which causes videos to be laggy and skip alot the skipping only happens in full screen on the tv/second monitor videos play fine : - on the 1st monitor (when not duplicated) - on any screen (without duplication on at all) - not in full screen - in full screen with something covering the video (like the task bar, another window, etc) - on a different browser (like Edge) any ideas for a solution other than having something covering the video/not having videos in full screen/turning duplication off/changing browsers It's weird that YouTube is the only program that does this, Netflix, hulu, crunchyroll, and all games are fine with this setup thank you -Mayo extra into: 5820K FTW 1080 FTW 32gb ram

I'm looking to upgrade my three monitors (which are years overdue for an upgrade). I'm looking at going 1440p as I primarily do software development and the extra real estate would be much appreciated (especially as I'm currently using 16:10 monitors and will be losing a bit of vertical space with the new monitors). This machine is also used for gaming however so I'd like decent refresh rate/input lag/etc. Ideally I'd like a 1440p 120-144hz monitor, but when you need to buy 3 of them the price gets a bit up there. I'm not a big competitive FPS gamer or anything so the higher refresh rate isn't critical - but would be appreciated. 25" is the maximum size I can go as I'm using a triple monitor mount (so VESA mounting is also required). I'd prefer 25" over 24" if sticking with 1440p. Because of the mount, a thin bezel is a definite bonus. My top choice right now is the ASUS PB258Q. It hits most of my requirements - except for the the 60hz refresh rate. I do like the IPS panel over a TN panel as the viewing angle is helpful for me. However I have read a lot of complaints about the backlight bleeding through on this monitor and that makes me think twice before pulling the trigger. So, anyone have any suggestions? PS: I'm from Canada

Hi there, So I've been doing some research for a while, and NVidia, for years, still has not enabled Surround to work with mixed resolution displays. In the end, I'm ok with that. Running my racing sims on my central 35" ultrawide is still a pretty good experience, but I'd love to get it running on all three of my monitors (2 27" side monitors, plus the ultrawide for a total resolution of 8560x1440). Does anyone know if someone has made a utility to make this work, or if someone has released some hacked drivers or a workaround of any fashion?

Hello and greetings from France :) I would have wanted to receive a professionnal advise concerning the configuration i want to install in my new futur setup. I am currently gaming on my ps4 on a 24 inch monitor, sandwiched by two 27 monitors for my pc. I am trying to figure out a way to use a triple 24inch monitor setup for my pc, in a matter to be able to switch on my ps4 whenever i want to play on it ( by keeping it connected to the centered monitor, right in front of me) without having to unplug any cables, and still being able to use my computer, to navigate between my left and right monitors. You may answer that it is not a problem, i can simply switch between the inputs on my centered monitor, in order to keep the view on my ps4, although want i want to avoid as well, is the " presence" of the centered monitor on my pc. You see, if i switch to my ps4 input on the centered monitor, my pc will still recognize the three monitors, even if i am not on the pc's display, so if i open a software or something on my pc, it would start displaying in the " background" on the monitor that i am actually using now to play my ps4 game. I am very sorry for my horrible english, if someone could offer me a bit of time, i would be glad to give more specific details if i am not clear here :) Would anyone have a solution for this matter? Thank you very much :D

Hello everyone. I currently have a MSI Optix MAG271XQP 27" with a really bad 2nd monitor. I just bought a new pc with 2080 ti so I want to update my monitors. I want three monitors, one 3440x1440 in the middle of two 2560x1440 and I have some questions. All ultrawide monitors I have seen with high hz are crazy expensive, the new AOX CU34G2X/BK is 3440x1440 and 144hz for just 600$, is it really good? Which second 27" monitor should I get? Maybe sell the msi and get two 60hz 27" because they are cheaper? Also if the AOX is not that good, which 3440x1440 with high hz do you guys recommend? Thanks for the answers.

I currently have a 980ti and looking for upgrades rather soon; I’m planning on buying another 2x 1080p monitors so I want some extra power to keep games running at ultra. Would it be better to buy another 980ti for ~£250 or sell and buy a 1080ti for ~550-600. Thanks

They are Acer K2 Series K272HUL 60 Hz monitors. I'm not concerned about gaming. They are just for a triple monitor setup on a workstation that currently has a GTX 660 card in it. Right now it is handling three 1680x1050 monitors just fine but they are 10 years old and one is starting to go bad so I ordered those Acer monitors as replacements. I didn't think it through until after I ordered them and now I'm wondering if the GTX660 will even handle a triple 1440p setup. I looked up the specs on Nvidia's website and it says the Maximum Digital Resolution is 4096x2160 (I assume for each output) but it has this footnote: 3840x2160 at 30Hz or 4096x2160 at 24Hz supported over HDMI. 4096x2160 (including 3840x2160) at 60Hz supported over Displayport. Support for 4k tiled MST displays requires 326.19 driver or later. The GTX 660 only has one DisplayPort. The others connections are a HDMI and two DVI's. I was going to use the Displayport and the two DVI outputs to hook all of the monitors up but does that mean I'll only be able to run one of them at 60Hz?

What I am looking for might be a bit of a long shot, if it is even possible at all although I have already convinced myself it is! For a little back story on how I have come to think of this contraption before we proceed! In life there are only a few things I truly love! One of them is that late night gaming session with the friends, while the other one is racing. That's right like NASCAR, you know where we only make left turns. In the past I have had dedicated stations for both, but it was unpractical in my opinion to go from the racing simulator, powering a new system up then gaming on that right after. I guess what I am after is something that could use a single system. Yet that I can either choose to race with a triple monitor setup or game on another monitor as I sit at a desk.

Hey all, I just purchased a gtx 1070 and wanted to get a triple monitor setup. My budget is $600 ($200 for each monitor) but I can go up to $800 ($267 each) if it’s really worth it. Any help?

With the price of Ultrawides being quite high (especially for gaming ones) I was wondering if it would be better to have a Triple Monitor Setup for a similar price? The Acer Predator Z35 seems like a good priced 1080p Ultrawide with a UK price of £689.99 http://bit.ly/2baEPu8 Then there's the Asus PG348Q which is a 1440p Utlrawide with a UK price of £998.99 http://bit.ly/1UsTs7E With Ultrawides being £700-1000 for a Single Monitor seems a lot for something that could be achieved with Triple Monitors for a similar pricing. Is it worth investing in Triple Monitors over an Ultrawide? And if so what Triple Monitor Setup should I go for

My buddy got himself a Sapphire Nitro RX 480 4GB, he has a problem with the triple monitors. What basically happens is that it refuses to work with more than 2 monitors, one monitor has to be always off. He has it connected by: HDMI, HDMI (Using passive DisplayPort to HDMI adapter) and VGA (Using DVI to VGA adapter). If anyone has the solution, please help.

I'm looking for the best gpu solution (sli or single card)to run 3 monitor gaming at 1080p (22-27") I plan to start with three smaller monitors(21.5"-22") but wish to upgrade to 27" in the future without changing my system. the games I want to play are(If supported): Rust Minecraft The Forest Stranded deep Possible games I'd like to play(but not necessary): GTA 5 Far-cry 4 The witcher 3 Mad Max Thanks for your time p.s I've spent a while looking for a solution but always get pointed to the gtx 980 which I don't have the money for

I was planning on getting the gtx 980 SC, but then there was a sale where I work, so I got the 980 FTW cheaper, later to realize that it only had 1xDP unlike the SC edition that had 3xDP. also, on full load my card seems to have coil whine. I hear that G-sync is not compatible with 3 monitor surround. a DP MST hub would cost around $130(also means I am limited to 60hz on each monitor). If I adapt DVI to DP will I be stuck at 60hz as well? I want to get a 1080p triple monitor setup. any suggestions? thoughts on a center 1080p gsync monitor and 2 non gsync on the sides?

Hello there, I want to make a quick thread asking you guys for help with my triple monitor setup. Currently i have 1 main monitor which is a BenQ 23 inch monitor. And a few days back i bought 2 identical other monitors which are LG's 21.5 Inch. Now i love tripple monitor setup in the first place and i would personally never want to go back to 1 monitor as i was stuck with having only 1 after completing building my gaming rig (upgraded from laptop which had 1 monitor aside which is now my main). Now the obvious question: How would i be able to play ETS2 and ETS2MP (mod) without having screen diffrences ingame. i know diffrend sized monitors asks for difficulties when it comes to gaming as it is only greatly compatible with workflow. But is there any option for me not having to swap my main monitor? I don't play games only, but i also make great use of all three monitors while working on my desktop or when normal multitasking. I have surely multitasked my way into google's search engine to only find out i can't seem to find any proper answer to my problem. The link below is a screenshot taken by Gyazo's screenshot engine to specify my setup. So right now I have two GPU's in my system, an R9 280X and a 7970 non-Ghz not in crossfire (due to programs i use disabling it, and no connector attached) and I was wondering why the 280X is taking the load for the 7970? the way I have my monitors set up is a single 1920x1200 Samsung plugged into the 280X, and two ASUS 1080p monitors on the 7970, and for some reason when I have anything like a Twitch stream on one of the ASUS monitors, the 280X is the one that ramps up, instead of the 7970. The weirdest part is, is it clocks up to 1000Mhz when on the ASUS monitors, but only 500Mhz when on the Samsung? The only reason it's a problem is if I want to play any games, I have to turn settings down, or not have anything open that would use the GPU. Anyone have an idea or solution?
