Hey, everyone. I recently downloaded Microsoft Launcher for my S7 Edge to try and pair it with my phone. However, it seemed too intrusive so I opted to stick with TouchWiz. I also had to factory reset my phone yesterday, but that resulted in no issues and I was able to restore from a backup. However, I woke up this morning to a VERY nasty surprise. The launcher had changed and everything looked different. I tried to change the default home screen app back to TouchWiz, but the only app I saw there was 'Samsung Experience Home'. I despise the new look and would really appreciate some help changing back to the default look. Thanks, Aereldor.

I need some help I've been wanting to change my Samsung galaxy s6 UI from TouchWiz to Pure android my warranty is already over and I been wanting to change it ever since now I did the rooting from the phone but nothing happened and I search all over the web how to do it! it just say's the pingpong app I tried it but it just say there they don't have root for my build number and my baseband version help guys!! any more day ill freaking break my phone. hahaha kidding :3

Hi. I got my dad's old Galaxy S2 and I'm customising it to be how I like it. I'm stuck at trying to remove the stock Internet app from the dock and replacing it with Google Chrome. The phone runs Android 4.1.2 with TouchWiz skinned on it. I just want to get rid of the stupid internet app so I can put Google Chrome there. I am willing to root the phone, I would like to not have to do it though. Thanks, Alpha.

So i'm qurious if it is possible to put samsung's touchwiz on my one plus one. Please dont go "Why would you want touchwiz" Its just a quriosity of mine if it is possible and i want to try the double screen mode. also if it is not possibe please tell why it is not possible. If it is possible please tell how.

Hey guys, I'm writing this on my phone incidentally. I'm after a way to completely disable the data usage warning on my Note 4. It doesn't seem to be possible to set it past 100GB in one billing cycle. Now I'm one of those freaks who can use more than that in one month, and I don't want to see a warning all the time. Hopefully the screenshot should be attached just fine, using the forum on my phone is quite glitchy if you ask me. Thanks, Tedster

I Install an update on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and I get the new Android 5.0. But, I get a new Touchwiz too and it had colors like rainbow. I wanna my old Touchwiz, is there any way to do that.

Many people had been complaining Samsung's TouchWiz and their bloatwares for years, and there are rumors for months that Samsung may redesign their TouchWiz UI on the upcoming Galaxy S6, but we have not much information on how they would do it. But now, SamMobile.com may have part of the answer for us. According to SamMobile.com, besides optimizing its softwares to near-Nexus levels, Samsung may remove every add-on features that can be downloadable. Instead of making them as pre-loaded softwares, they will turn into downloadable apps. SamMobile didn't have much info on which apps will be affected by this, but they predicted that selling point features like S Health will most probably stay on as pre-installed apps, while others like Story Album, S Translator, or even S Voice may become downloadable apps. This may be a good move for Samsung, as they can slim down the OS, and those apps and OS can be updated far more quickly than that in the past. My wishlist isn't that large. In fact, it's pretty simple, but there is an important point I'd like to make. - Keep the phone at 5.7-inches or make it 6-inches but design it in such a way so that it's not overly large. - Keep improving the already superb S Pen. Add more features or cool stuff. - Keep what made the Note 4 awesome and improve on its flaws. - Do not increase the resolution of the screen, and do not make the battery smaller - Improve the software experience over the improvements made in the S6, namely the overly-aggressive memory management Basically that. But notice that I didn't say 2 things. Removable battery and a microSD card slot. Why? Because looking at the S6, they're unlikely to make it to the N5. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of both, which is a big reason why I opted to go with the LG G4 over the Galaxy S6, but the Note-line has always been based off the year's S-line device, so if the S6 doesn't have both, chances are the Note won't as well. Not to mention the lack of expandable storage is due to UFS 2.0. Now, I'm not going to say the usual baggage "that UFS 2.0 is so fast and it turns your phone into a rocket ship, blah blah blah", but it's still the reason because UFS 2.0 uses an entirely different type of memory controller that is apparently incompatible with SD cards, even Class 10 ones. The current workaround is to put 2 memory controllers, but that is hard and may lead to compromises that Samsung probably didn't want to make. It might be possible, but it'll take time, and with the Note 5's reveal rumored to be a month away, there's not much time. As for specs, I'm expecting the most bleeding-edge hardware Samsung can use. So that's a 1440p SAMOLED display, a revised Exynos 7420 with a higher clockspeed (rumored to be called the Exynos 7422), 4GB of LPDDR4, and a battery above 3000mAh (hopefully 3500mAh or larger) with Qi/PMA wireless charging and quick charging as standard. Internal storage may be 64GB base, hopefully. If the Note comes with a 3500mAh+ battery and 64GB of internal storage base, then we'll have another product worthy of the Note family. I can't wait to try it out! Hope it doesn't disappoint.

I made a post last night on whether TouchWiz was terrible or bearable. I got a lot of replies and stuff to think about, so thanks! But, at the end of the day, the one and only problem I have with buying the Note 4 is sort of a major one: TouchWiz. On one hand, I'm sort of happy that if I buy it, I'll have too many features, which is better than none IMO. On the other, ANDROID L IS BEAUTIFUL. I was originally going to buy this year's Moto X just so that I'll get stock Android L later on. But the camera + battery life really turned me off. Photo taking is one of my favorite things to do on a phone- Moto X doesn't deliver. My phone has terrible battery life, so this time I wanted a phone with a nice, big battery- Moto X doesn't deliver. But this year's Moto X delivers on every other aspect. On the other side of the spectrum, the Note 4 is literally the opposite of the Moto X. Great camera, great battery life, loaded with (perhaps too many) features, has the S-Pen (which I'm really looking forward to), and a MUCH improved build. But - unlike the Moto X - it has one of the heaviest skins on Android on the market, which can really deplete from the experience. Sure, there are some things I actually like about TouchWiz, but stock is so much better IMO. Which leads to the title of this post: If I used a different launcher on a Note 4, would it get rid of the features that Samsung has put into the phone? Also, is it even possible on a Note 4? I'm a newbie to Android, in fact the Note 4 is likely going to be my first Android device. I'd really enjoy your feedback.

As anyone who have used a Samsung smartphone or tablet knows, Samsung devices comes loaded with a ton of apps from Samsung. A lot of these offers the same functionality as apps Google has developed, which means that you get two web browsers, two stores, two gallery apps, two emailing apps, two music players, two translation apps, two voice assistants, the list goes on. This will change however thanks to a recent deal between Google and Samsung which stats that Samsung will have to cut back on the amount of duplicate apps they ship on devices. It is speculated that their browser (which I actually like), their email client, the calender and their Media Hub will get axed. I think these are good news because I am tired of having like 50 preinstalled apps on my phone when I only want maybe 10 of them. I have a samsung galaxy s4 i9505 (the american version) and i was wandering if it is possible and how to dual boot touchwiz (stock or simular rom) and cyanogen mod? And are there any walkthroughs on how to do it, like a step by step video or helper??
