I'm trying to install my old GTX Titan card in my current system, as I'm planning to put my current GPU into a new system I'm building. However, everything seems to power on just fine, I can't get a video output. My hardware is as follows: Windows 10 AMD Ryzen 7 2700X B450M Mortar (MS-7B89) motherboard 32GB RAM The Titan card's part number is: 06g-p42791-kr I've thought of maybe installing the drivers prior to installing the Titan, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. I can't actually seem to find drivers anyway, so if someone could point me in the right direction that'd be great! Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello and greetings from Poland, I'm new here, and as I saw a lot of briliant people here, maybe one of You could help me. Some time ago i saw an adverb on a local internet market place, that someone is selling graphic accelerators and is claiming that those are like an GTX Titan. https://www.olx.pl/d/oferta/karta-graficzna-jak-nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-6gb-CID99-IDJ8ODP.html I made some reserch and determined that those were made on a Nvidia Tesla K20x. So after a bit of search, I found a topic of a guy that changed a GTX 780 to a Tesla K20 http://www.guztech.nl/wordpress/index.php/2013/11/researching-nvidia-gpus-geforce-gtx780-and-gtx-titan-to-tesla-k20-and-tesla-k20x/ With a bit reverse engeneering I was able to change the hardware id (with those resistors) to 1001, and after flashing the cards bios I got a GTX Titan. After downloading and instaling drivers, gpu-z sees the card as a proper titan. The first problem is that I can't get windows to see the card in display control. like the guy that sells those Frankensteins Second thing, is that in the nvidia control panel I can pick GTX Titan to run 3d rendering but it makes no difference. The card is cold, and not running 3d apps. Anyone did such a swap, and may share some thoughts?

The GTX Titan has 6GB of GDDR5 memory, and 2688 CUDA cores with a 1502MHz memory clock speed. I'm trying to upgrade from an MSI RX 560 (4GB) to a new card. Recently I found one for $350. Is it worth the money?

Hi Guys... Any Idea When Will The Titan Ampere Gonna Launch? Any Specs Leaked?
-
So, I am (like everyone) looking for a GPU and came across used Titan X Pascal for 600eur (would try to lower to 500 ish probably). Considering 3060ti costs just about 680eur here (well, it would if there was stock) and any GTX/RTX cards on 2nd hand market are crazy as well, I just might consider this. However, it's kind of hard to find benchmarks for a Titan so any info on this would be great.

Hi everyone, If anyone has been following the build I've been planning for the last few weeks, I have finally finished it! Cpu - 5960x overclocked to 4.7ghz @1.22v Aio - Arctic Freezer II 420mm Motherboard - Asus X99-S Ram - 32gb 8x4gb ddr4 3000mhz GPU - GTX Titan X Pascal PSU - Corsair 1000w 80+ Gold Case - Phanteks p500a Ssd - sata 240gb Kingston drive HDD - 4tb Toshiba 7200rpm Sensor panel - cheap raspberry pi screen I will be adding benchmarks to this post soon, and comparing it to my 3700x build which has a comparable cpu (8c 16t) I play at 1440p 144hz (gsync) and so far it's running great. I've played Devil May Cry 5 and it's been a solid 140-220fps, but appreciate that's not an ideal test for the setup Let me know what you all think, and if you have any questions or specific tests you'd like me to do This platform seems like a viable option given I got the motherboard, cpu, and ram for about £200, whereas the 3700x I was considering would have cost that on it's own

Hello i've been able to obtain this GPU: https://imgur.com/a/0HFWxsI But i do not want to a custom water cooling system since i cant afford it and i cant find used systems in Denmark. I was wondering if i could use this on it https://www.arctic.de/en/ax4 or i should go with the kraken g12 universal mount + aio. I would really prefer if i could do it aircooled but i do not know if the card inside the waterblock is compatible. Does anybody have any advice on how to go about this because i am totally lost and youtube did not give me any helpful answers.

Summary In a Chiphell post it was explained that this cooler was supposed to be used for an RTX 40 series card with a peak power of 900W; since that’s of course peak power, the actual TDP could be much lower. The leaker has other photos apparently, but only some were published. In the released pictures you can see a massive four slot cooler frame, and heatsink for a supposedly unreleased Ada Lovelace GPU. Quotes My thoughts Now it's obvious this cooler was meant for what was described as "The Beast" or the Ada Titan. But many news outlets have since claimed that card has been cancelled and there will be no Ada Titan. MLID claimed the reason the Ada Titan was cancelled was because it was "melting power supplies, and sometimes melting itself." I'm wondering if this cooler will be repurposed for the 4090 Ti, as the 4090 is not the full fat AD102 die; so there's still room to release a fully enabled AD102. Utilizing this cooler would definitely keep the temps in check like the 4090 cooler does. As the 4090 is not thermally limited by any means. We will probably have to see what RDNA 3 brings to the table before we see NVIDIA make a move on releasing a more powerful card though. From the album: Devils Reject
I know that the titan is in the wrong slot but I did it just to see how my second titan would look and if it will block anything. -
Summary Images claiming to be renders of an upcoming Nvidia Titan GPU have been released by Moore's Law Is Dead. The as-of-yet-unconfirmed images show a card that pushes the boundaries of believability, boasting two of the now infamous 12VHPWR connectors, giving a max theoretical power draw of nearly 1500 watts. This is accompanied by a full 4-slot wide cooler that dwarfs the already extreme 4090. Quotes My thoughts Even if does turn out to be fake, the fact that something like this could even be taken seriously is a testament to the absurdity of the high-end 4000 series. cooling Heatsink Sizes for GDDR5 Memory & VRAM on Titan X Maxwell
Timotheus865 posted a topic in Cooling
I recently picked up a NVIDIA Titan X (Maxwell) for $50 on eBay, which did not come with the stock cooling shroud or fan. As a learning exercise, I figured I'd try to put together my own cooling solution, and I am heavily considering a Kraken G12 with a 120mm AIO (though the Raijintek Morpheus II is another interesting option). My question is what size of heatsinks should I use to help cool the VRAM & Memory chips? Since I'm not worried about going back to stock, I'd also like to hear about suggestions for thermal adhesives/ cement. -
Hi everyone, I've had this Titan X for quite a while now and decited to do the periodicly thermal paste change. But this time after everything went back on and powered the card started to behave funny. As soon as I put it in full load with some heavy game or benchmark, my whole system shut down. So i tried again and the second time it cutted the video signal off and i had to restart the pc. I though it might be the power supply or mobo, So i swapped the card into a different entire system with a 750w gold plus evga psu, and nothing, while the system didn't shut down the video signal cutted off. So i tried to re open the card, making sure the connectors where ok and nothing seems burned or damage and could't find anything. One time tho i managed to make it run normal , without some of the screws, but as soon as i took it off to finish mounting the others, it started again with the problems problems. To recap now the card as soon as it is in full load for a couple of seconds cuts off the video signal and no matter what cable you connect it too, you have to restart the system. Ps: light games as Valorant or LoL works fineand the temps are good to (below 50 c)

So, i'm working on watercooling my PC, though as full custom loops are too high maintenance for the amount of time im actually at the pc (its more of a show-off machine than anything else). I've taken to AIO coolers. Ive fitted my cpu with a Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate 360mm up in the top cooling my i7-7700K @ 5.1ghz and currently have a Titan X maxwell with the stock cooler blowing out of the case from that first pcie slot. Ive ordered a Kraken G10 bracket that lets me mount cpu AIOs to the graphics card, so i'm awaiting that (it will need some tweaking to fit with the wifi / sound cards that are in the slots below), but until i get an actual cooler for it i've got nothing. So, my question is, what AIO will fit from the gpu core itself, and mount in that front 240mm area in the front of the case (it will be intake so the fans will still be there) i have a fractal design arc mini r2 case. TL:DR; I need an AIO to fit from TItan X GPU in the top PCIe slot, to the front 240mm mount in my Arc Mini R2 case.

Hi, Well I what to buy a Titan XP and put a water block on it. So I think I'm going to water cool the cpu first and run the Titan stock air to make sure it works before I add the block to it. or Does Nvidia test each card before selling?

Hi guys I'm going straight to my problem. One of my Titan's died a couple of days ago. The model is this one https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/GTXTITAN6GD5 After the shutdown of death, I removed the card and saw one of the vrm mosfets on smoke! Don't ask why, I always had perfects temps, not overclocked, voltage@1V max. I removed the burnt mosfet to replace it but the thing is I'm out of warranty and Asus won't give me any info on the mosfet part number.(as expected) So I'm asking if there is anyone who may know sth about the mosfet models used for the Titan or at least where I could find a similar one. I'm willing to give a try before throwing the card. (the photo shows which mosfet is missing)

Hi all, the question is straight forward, i'm looking for opinions on this active PA, besides of what a data sheet can give, already did my google search, that's why i'm looking for human subjective opinions. (Btw, i know a Yamaha, Alto, etc. will sound better, and passive PA with nice Amp + EQ + Mixer is desirable, that is out of the question). Picture so i don't get left in the dark (?) thank y'all

I can't afford any of them, nor am I selling any (rocking my gtx 650 HTPC but also broke my wallet on an alienware just now). But i thought a lot of guys (and gals and inbetween and out) her would appreciate these listings I found before biting the bullet on a productivity device instead of gaming god (I needed a laptop and wouldn't have enough left for a decent one if I bought the monitor that would make the cards worthwhile). These are from UK sellers. I just got a 600w PSU but i'm gonna have to wait a while :(. Anyway i wanted to try and help people on my first post and not just go on about my alienware, cause it is cool af now I've got used to it. Disclaimer: If this breaks any forum rules, sorry I'm new here :(. But it's just craiglist is virtually non existent in the UK and gumtree prices are usually high AF so I thought in light of scrapyard wars and my own scrapyard digging on ebay I'd try and help some brits get those used magic systems we usually only get through dodgy van drivers on facebook pages GTX Titan 6gb (Currently peaked at £110) - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201938527926 GTX Titan X (Currently @ £155) - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252960945517 [He has another one too] GTX 780 ti (Currently starting bidding under £1 due to low interest and no reserve, benchmarks indicate around the same as a 970 in most applications) - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122523355286 GTX 980 ti (Currently @ £190, reference but think this is the best one I saw. Kind of wish I saw it before getting laptop) - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/gigabyte-NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-980-TI-GPU-/122518934041 Most of these go up near the end of listings but these are generally half way through and they seem to not be getting as much attention due to reference designs or bad tagging by the seller, the sellers are positively rated and have good descriptions and reasons for selling which I generally value when I'm buying on this. If I'm again missing forum rules or etiquette feel free to shove your sock n sandal into my anus for a good kick, this is a forum after all.
