So I'm looking to buy closed-back headphones for around $100 USD. Amazon prefererred as I live in Australia and shit is expensive. Being used for gaming (CSGO mostly) and music, namely pop and chill music (go to Poolside.fm to see a little bit of what I mean). Need clear vocals. If open-back can get me a little bit better value I'd take them as well. @Aytex suggested HD598Cs, how are they as a suggestion?

Getting frustrated with google trying to find this thing (if it even exists), a friend has a little ITX build and his mobo has one of those often-useless female USB3 type-a ports right in the middle of his board, which he wants to use, as his case only has one port, and his mobo I/O only has 1. So i assumed that somewhere in the world, there existed basically a USB3 male to female extension cable, with a PCIe bracket on the female end, so you can screw it into a blank space, but i really am not having much luck finding it. Anyone seen this before ?

I was just on here the other day getting help finding a gaming laptop that was thin and portable. Well I might not need a gaming laptop, it really all depends on whether or not I'm going to be able to bring my desktop to school. So as a way to broaden my horizon on laptop options I'm back to see what kind of laptop I would want if I CAN bring my desktop (which can handle anything) to school. Needs. -Good battery life. This is the only must on the list, I just cant have something that's gonna die on me halfway through a lecture, or whatever they do in college. Wants. -4k display. (Idk I think it'd be cool) -Performance -Good build quality -1500$ (I can be a little flexible but not to much) Alright so I know I just described the Dell XPS 15, which is a laptop I really want...but it's a little over budget for the model I would want (i7, gtx 1050, 512 ssd), and it seems to have a lot of quality control issues. The Razer Blade Stealth seems like a good option too, I just really wish they had a 4k display on that 13" model with the thinner bezels...I am considering the 12" 4k model too. So basically just throw whatever at me, use the list of wants as more of guidelines than rules. Thank you in advance for whatever you throw my way, it's much appreciated.

So I have a system that I built quite a while ago. It still performs quite well but I'm looking to upgrade. I have Intel Core i5 4570 @ 3.2 ghz 8 GB of DDR3 GTX 970 reference I do a lot of gaming and Blu Ray ripping. I use handbrake to compress the Blu-Rays to much smaller files for my Plex server and it takes forever on my little Core i5 with 100% CPU usage while doing it. For this reason I've been wanting to upgrade my CPU. I've been looking at a (4 core, 8 thread) Xeon E3-1275L v3 2.7 ghz (turbo 3.9) for about $170 used on ebay as I wouldn't have to upgrade my motherboard or ram since it is LGA 1150 like my existing system. Would that be a value buy or should I be looking elsewhere? I've also been considering a Ryzen 5 1600 build but that would be a much larger expense seeing as I would have to upgrade everything in my system. And would the Xeon impact my gaming experience with my 970 negatively or otherwise? -

Hey guys, so I just recently had this problem of my desktop turning off a split second after pressing the power button (have confirmed that there's not short on the power button) which happens occasionally. I have tried reseating every component on the motherboard, resetting the CMOS, using the default settings in the motherboard BIOS and no bad capacitors on the motherboard but the problem still persists. I have done the paper clip test on my PSU but it checks out fine. It seems to work fine when I remove the graphics card and some USB devices. Is there like a power delivery problem of some sort going on with my motherboard? (Particularly the USB ports and PCie slot?) Lastly, can it mean a problem with my PSU (using correct voltage BTW) even though it checks out fine with the paper clip test? I have no spare parts to do trouble shooting so I'm kinda lost lol Buy a new motherboard or power supply? Suggestions? I'm looking to upgrade to a powerful enough graphics card to run games at decent framerates without needing too much power. I've been looking at the PNY XLR8 GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC and it seems pretty good for only $120. My system isn't much and I desperately need a new graphics card but I'll need to upgrade other parts of my system before I could use a better card so this one will have to do for now. Is it total garbage or does it work alright?

Okay community I need help. I just got a new case fan for my PC so I went to install it. While installing I made sure to use a static bracelet and I put all the components on a wooden surface. Sadly after I installed the new case fan and hooked everything up to my monitors and outlet again nothing would show up on the screen. I've double, even triple checked the connections and still nothing happens. The only thing I can think of is the video card being fried or the HDD. Thanks Guys/Gals!

Hey guys,Andrew here and I really need help with this.. The last time I asked,people said that it was the fault of Wireless USB and wireless card.. I have yet to change to the Ethernet cable as they told me to,but just so happens that it happened again today,so I quickly took a video. The lagg gets even worse when I try to move my character,also,my ping is low at that point of time. Hello all! I found this old motherboard and I can't figure out exactly what brand/model it is (pictures attached). Here's some stuff I've found out already from looking at it and a little research. - has AMD-645/AMD 1997, tm TECH, and Winbound written on it in a couple places - socket-7 (originally had an AMD-K6-233ANR in the cpu socket) - looks almost exactly like the Shuttle HOT-569 released in 1997, but has a few parts in different places as well as saying AMD instead of INTEL written all over it. (picture of Shuttle HOT-569 for reference- http://redhill.net.au/b/jpg/b-hot-569a.jpg ) Is it some kind of weird knockoff, a different version of the Shuttle HOT-569, or something else entirely? Please let me know if you find anything out.

I need a PC case with terrific (use your judgement) cable management abilities, and great airflow. But I also need it to work with a Noctual NH-D15 CPU fan and work with EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0. I also have some additional things to look out for: No LED colors unless it's blue, must be compatible with an ATX Mobo, and lastly no case window. Thanks a bunch folks EDIT: Also I don't really want to pay any more than $60.
