Country india what’s a good thermal epoxy I can find in Amazon which will work well enough for holding on the heat sink on my cpu? It needs to be good enough to attempt to cool an i9 13900k. Note: it can also be significantly inadequate if it is cheaper than 3000 INR

Quick Preface: I'm not a hardware engineer and I have an internet-developed sense of how hardware works refined by a couple computer builds, a single college class, and being tech support for my family. Let me know what books/blogs/etc. I can read to get a better understanding of this stuff, I'd love to hear it. I recently watched a few videos that went over PCIe gen 5 and the theoretical maximum bandwidth being 16 GB/s on 4 lanes. Curious as to how fast that was, I made the connection that CPU cache was fastest, RAM was right behind, and the last-ditch effort involved paging using whatever drive had space. While enjoying some wine, I decided to look up the transfer speeds for DDR4 RAM and found a table that told me DDR4-2666 has a max transfer of 21300 MB/s (hence PC4-21300, didn't realize that was the standard). The big B tells me divide by 1024, and that gives us ~21 GB/s. I then decided to look up DDR3 speeds (used to have a rig with 1600 memory - sold it to a family member that still uses it) and saw it was 12800 MB/s or 12.5 GB/s. I was a bit shocked by how close those numbers were. I understand they differ in their function and build, but tag #2 on this post wanted me to ask anyway; would it be possible for manufacturers in the future, should the trend of rising speeds continue, be able to create a single stick combining RAM and your SSD into one module? Or, could it be done in a marketable manner today? I could see an argument for citing things like speed, space savings, material savings, etc. but also arguments against citing the fundamental differences and specializations, anti-consumer cases popping up for the inability to pick your RAM/Drive sizes and speed separately etc. My idea is more for the average consumer - I could see some OEMs trying this to make a slimmer/smaller laptop that's "still upgradable" by buying a new combo module, or boasting better cooling performance from combining the two and freeing up space for a beefier cooler. Linus' "pipe-dream" scenario in this video from before Lumber-Linus for an M.2 SSD connected through a RAM stick-like structure is a similar concept, but does give me an idea that it's probably not the right way to go about creating a new memory format.

(TL;DR available) I currently have an EoP set-up from my modem to a secondary router in another room about 30m away, however desipite the EoP being rated 500mbps (which is supposed to be 10MB/s correct?), I'm only getting ~4.5 MB/s. My ISP provides 100 mbps, and my wireless speeds at the modem reach ~95, however over the EoP the maximum I get is between 45 and 50 mbps. Wireless is not an option for my PC, as there are too many double-brick walls between the PC and modem. I will suggest a theoretical solution, and if anyone can tell me if it will work/have tried it before: Say I have a pair of Ethernet over power devices that are 200m apart and i will call them A and B. Say the speed A receives from the internet modem is 100Mbps, however there is a loss of 20 Mbps over the EoP connection. It I place another pair of EoPs (called C and D) between A and B*, would this reduce the amount of bandwidth loss over the network? *(where A would connect to C 100m apart, and then C connects to D directly next to C, which then links to B 100m away) TL;DR would adding a second pair of ethernet over power adapters between a current set reduce speed loss over the network?

Okay, so look. Let's say i'm in a theoretical non physically existing school where i'm at lunch and wanna get on Snapchat, Instagram, and what not. I use any VPN app on the store, and it works. One day it stops working, so I switch phones, again theoretically, in fear they blocked my mac address. The thing is, the VPN works on all the other theoretical kids's phones, except mine.. What's going on? Again, I'm not actually at school doing this, this would be a clear violation of rules and I would never do that, this post is just because of curiosity. I would like to additionally I was on a LG G4 and now a Galaxy S7 Edge. The exact same VPN app works on my theoretical friend's phones and on the non physically existing chromebooks.. Any clue why my VPN never works?

This is a random idea that fell into my mind the other day. It's not something I would do, for the same reasons others would not; it's likely impractical. Still, it's a nice thought experiment. So the premise is as follows: Pressurized gas (like propane or nitrogen) is liquid and very cold, which is why bare metal gas tanks can be cold to the touch, sometimes even be covered in condensation. Liquid cooling is there to bring heat away from components and let the coolant via radiators dissipate the heat outside the case (unless you mount intake fans on your rads, like in the front). The idea would be to run metal pipes inside a filled, pressurized gas tank and let the coolant run through the pipes, possibly providing high heat dissipation. Naturally with sub-zero liquid gas like nitrogen, it might be a good idea to have an anti-freeze in the coolant, like LTT did with the whole room watercooling loop. So, what are your opinions? Again, it's just a theoretical question and thought experiment.

Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible theoretically when you put 4 two slot gpu's in an 4 way sli/crossfire configuration on a motherboard(let's say for example on a asus X99-E WS) through gpu risers in a custom case and you fit in the remaining pcie slots 3 other one slot cards(e.g.: a network card, pcie ssd's, or a sound card), that those other 3 extension cards will be working? Hey there, I'm in the process of writing a proposal for an implementation of a network for a public library in my area... I'd like to ask for suggestions on what hardware to suggest for them... The main factors to consider are that the computers will be serving for a decade or so, that the budget is minimal, and that these computers will be for public use.. Purpose: General office work, web browsing, media consumption. No gaming. Budget: As low as possible. Other considerations: 10-year expected lifespan, public use, include peripherals. 18" Monitor preferred. I need 2 builds for this. One for the clients, and another for the librarians... Fire away.
