So I downloaded the latest update for The Division last night that enables the DirectX12. I was interested to see the difference in performance so I proceeded to the Benchmark tool and the result was a average frame rate of 85FPS on ultra settings with DirectX11. I enabled DX12 restarted the game client and reran the benchmark and my my average FPS when up to 110FPS. I was surprised and as this is a benchmark I played for a couple of hours and the game consistently maintained a a frame rate of about 105 to 110 which where previously it was around 80 even when it gets extremely "busy" with large mobs and explosions. It also felt much smoother than it previously did. What is the experience in the rest of the community I would love to hear your feedback. Hi. I've purchased The Division, and I'm looking at the DLCs. Does the season pass only last a year before you need to buy it again for all the DLC, or is it just the monthly rewards that go away after the year is over. -Alpha

Hi to who is ready this, i am going to be going into the market for a 1440p monitor. my budget is around £250-£350. i have what i would say is a fairly good pc. GPU: 1080ti the games i play are; rust the division hearts of iron 4 these games get very dark at times so monitor would need to be able to render dark colours pretty well. any other information you would need from me just ask. i would be hoping to go for a 144hz with anything under 5ms response time.

I have another SLI issue, last time i sorted it out with DDU, but this time, the problem persists. I am playing the division, on 2x gtx 980 sli, and when i turn it on, i drop 10 frames in the game. So these are what I have tried: Uninstalling drivers using DDU and reinstalling latest normal and BETA nvidia drivers. Re-installing the game using only the game and nothing else. The issue that i am having is that when ever i check GPU usage, i get 99% on main and 70% on the second one, that should be a GOOD thing. BUT, it ends up COSTING me frames!! Specs are as follows Asus Z87-A Motherboard CX750M PSU 2x MSI 980 In SLI 2 SSD 240gb 1 500gb HDD Intel I7 4770k processor 16gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram connected to 3 monitors, one being the predator x34 and 2 generics 1080p monitors. I want to know whether the SLI bridge could be an issue, the motherboard ? the power unit ? what am i doing wrong!? If anyone can help that would be fantastic, I would normally chalk it up to drivers / game optimization, but others have reported good fps with sli, sigh. Running it on my acer x34 at 3440x1440p

Hello once again, mighty pc enthusiasts. I don't know if this is the right category that I'm posting in, but I just want to hang from the ceiling at the moment, so please forgive me... My issue this time is with the Ubisoft's newest gamt title - The Division. I am constantly having a left input ingame, which completely destroys any joy in playing for me. As you imgaine, it causes my character to walk left and graphics sliders and stuff go left too. It seems to stop when you enter the first menu with ESC ingame, but reappears when you hover around graphics settings. I am at a loss as to what can be causing it at this point because I literally reinstalled this computer minutes ago... (although only the SSD, which is the system drive, was formatted, so the HDD is untouched). The displayed controlls are all xbox controller and they start changing super fast to pc controlls when I press down and hold a keyboard or mouse button. So this looks like a controller issue, but I have not even plugged that peripheral in since the reinstall... All other games seem to work fine. Please, send help.. Edit: I tried running the game on laptop and the controlls work just fine.

I recently upgraded my cpu to i7 6700(non k as i don't oc), other components are a zotac gtx 970, kingston hyperx fury 8gb on a gigabyte b150m d3h motherboard and 1tb wd green hdd. I noticed that during my session with The Division the cpu liad spikes up to as high as 100%. Mostly it stays somewhere between 80-95% and for the rest part it hovers around 60-70%. No issues with Fps though, I recieve a solid 60+ for the most part. almost everything is set to high except those fog and wind affected snow details, aa turned off and shadows lowered. While for the rest of the big titles like crysis 3, watch dogs, GTA V, The witcher 3, The crew the load is generally in between 30-60%(everything set to ultra). Is this normal? If this game(the division) maxes out this Cpu I'm worried how this Cpu is gonna run upcoming titles like Ghost recon wildlands, watch dogs 2, battlefield 1, and many other. I usualy play at 1600x1024 resolution. Any thoughts?

So Clocking in 86 hours and facing various struggles and meeting some great friends. I present my review of the, The Division. The Review will be split into sections in order to make this easy to view and see. =Overview= =Gameplay= =Pros= =Issues/Cons= =Suggestions/Personal Thoughts= = Overview= The Division is based off of Operation Dark Winter. Operation Dark Winter was a attack simulation, which involved the smallpox virus, this was to show how chaos would eventually overwhelm America's health care system and cause major issues with isolating the virus and the people of the virus. Now In The Division this has happened, you're a sleeper cell in New York city, becoming finally activated, and will try anything and everything in order to save your hometown and the people you made friends and family with. Its up to you to save New York City either by yourself or with your other fellow Division Soldiers. =Gameplay= The game play is a cover based shooter/RPG/MMO. Your character unlike normal cover based shooters like Ghost Recon, requires numerous amounts of bullets, which usually earns this game as a bullet sponge game. Also unlike other RPGS/MMO's while you use equipment to increase your stats, in The Division however equipment determines everything, from the extra bonus damage your guns do, to your health and skill power, so leveling does nothing but enable you to equip more and more higher tier equipment, they also provide other protections from enemies and other things. And like MMO's and RPG's you can see how much damage each attack does, which we see as numbers, each number color shows something different, sometimes white, gold and blue. These means three different things, white means health damage which is the " True " health bar, blue numbers means damage to armor enemies are wearing and gold numbers mean critical damage which of course means extra damage than usual. In The Division, we can see each stat and the values, however there is an issue that arrives in this game. Unlike normal RPG/MMO's there is a set limit to certain stats, however In The Division there isn't a very clear distinction, because sometimes higher values lets say, %To Critical Hit is 90% however in the recent patch it caps it 60% which is Ok, but the game doesn't stop the value from going higher which can cause massive confusion and issues because while your expect to get 90% of your shots to do a critical hit each bullet in reality only has a 60% of doing critical damage. Which to a RPGer whom does Min-Maxing ( The act of achieving the most effective build or stats that doesn't require changing the build or stats for the remaining of the game ) can cause major outcry and even massive confusion. There is also some stats that clearly don't note what they do. A clear example of this is Threat, in the game all the value says is percentage of threat, which doesn't tell the player anything whatsoever, and simply is a guessing game unless you scourge the internet for information WHICH A RPG shouldn't require unless doing the hardest of hard missions or quest. I still don't currently even know what Threat does. The game is a RPG, however level don't give a clear distinction of the power enemies have against you. Even when you're the same level as the enemies. For example during a intense struggle of me trying to do a mission solo, at level 18 and the enemies are at level 20 and 19 you think you would stand a chance against them, however unlike a normal RPG where since your near their level which means you would have a mild struggle at best, this game cranked the enemies to doomsday levels. Enemies that killed me within 3-4 shots while am struggling to even do a dent to their armor and health. Which lead to me being extremely salty and asking players in the chat for massive help, when they told me 12k health wasn't even enough to do that mission it lead me to a massive conclusion that levels and equipment are not even one in the same when it comes to baddies like normal RPG's or MMO's unless its clearly a boss or a special monster. In the game there is skills and talents which is a very nice touch, meaning your Agent can on top of having three skills they can have 4 talents which help actively in battle and activating at once and forever as long as you met the requirement to activate said skill such as battle medic, which increases healing by 40% and heals nearby allies within 20M when using a medical kit. However unlike MMO's and RPG's there are talents which can destroy or disrupt other players or even your own skills/talents. WHICH IS A BIG F******* NO NO IN THE RPG WORLD. If there is a BLOODY talent that destroys your skill THEN WHAT IS THE POINT OF USING THAT TALENT !? Of course if it said using this talent destroys X skill then that would be fine however IT DOES NOT SAY THAT ANYWHERE IN THE GAME, Combat Medic talent said above destroys Smart Cover a skill which reduces damage and increases damage for players. Mobsters mobs in this game level up as you do, and by level I mean they sure as hell stay stronger than you unless you got the equipment. However the problem is that there is so many mobs that have armor, from wannabe gangsters to trashman who use makshift flamethrowers, that DOESN't MAKE ANY SENSE. Sure you the character has armor HOWEVER this doesn't do teh same thing as enemy armor. Armor for agents reduces damage to you by a certain percentage capping at 75%. However for Enemies its a white bar above their health which gives them extended health AND is a requirement to destroy their " Real HP" not even headshots to unprotected faces still deals damage to the darn armor which can a massive pain to deal with. NOTE! : will finish after doing some business with family. STAY TUNED.

Well, things are not going well for The Divison, Ubisofts latest excretion. Source: http://www.tweaktown.com/news/52533/divisions-player-count-dropped-gigantic-93-launch/index.html Well, Ubi had better get their ducks in a row. Thoughts? Moderators: I know we aren't supposed to quote the entire story, but since this one is so short, I figure it doesn't really matter here. Not sure what else I could add to it besides my obligatory point and laugh.

Okay, So figured I'd go all out and treat myself to a 2nd 970 after I got in my student loan (because, who uses that for books?) and I was so excited to see the benefits in my favourite AAA titles. However, since I got it. It's been sluggish, I have everything enabled and I really see the increase in the likes of Battlefield and Tomb Raider. But, I was just wondering if there's any sort of guide I can follow with Nvidia Control Panel for the 3D Settings because I don't understand quite a few settings. I will attach a few screenshots of my current settings with this post, hopefully someone can check them out. I'm really looking for a median between FPS and Quality. Now for the division. I seem to be getting better FPS with a single card than with my SLI enabled. I get stuttering non-stop and when I enable SLI with the same High Settings I used with a single card, I use way over the VRAM limit for some reason? Is SLI just really not supported in as many games as I thought? Should I have just sold my 1st 970 and paid the difference for a single 980ti? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Let's be honest, The Division is one of the best games out right now! With some time to kill and parts that need a home, I decided to give myself a challenge (not to say that Project Ravage wasn't a challenge) and do a case mod. The system will be orientated around the game so i'm going with a black and orange theme build which will also be watercooled to keep things nice and cool. That's really all I have to say, hope you guys enjoy and make sure to click follow next to the title to stay updated Parts are subject to change, just using what ever I have lying around* CPU: Intel Core i5 4690k Graphics Cards: 2x Asus Strix Gaming 970 Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4 LGA 1150 Ram: Corsair Dominator 4x 2GB Hard drive: Samsung 840 250GB SSD Power Supply: Zalman ZM650-XG 650W 80+ Gold Case: Silverstone TJ11 Update 1: Case Preparation Update 2: Spray Painting Ram

Hi everybody! So The Division is coming in March and i would like to play it. My current pc cant run it so i thought getting a better pc. I would only need a cpu, mobo and ram. I have a decent gpu and a 400w PSU. My budget is also quite strict (150 euros) so i am going to use second hand parts. What do you recommend guys? Should i go with AMD or Intel?

Hello LTT forum! So I'm planning to purchase a 980 ti hybrid from EVGA (yay) but as I saw on their website they are currently hosting some kind of limited offer when buying some of their GPU's. That offer is that you get one or two free games upon buying a GPU. However I can't really understand what they are meaning, they say on their website that you have to purchase the GPU from their store but also that you can do it from other retailers and still get the game. Due to my bad English and lack of understanding I would like a clarification if someone of you have done it or understand what they mean. If I buy my GPU from a rather big retailer here in Sweden will I still be able to claim the Division for free? Anyways thanks for answers and have a nice day1

Hello, I have a question about how things work when buying PC-Disk and PC Download. First of all I got to play The Open Beta and it was awesome and can't wait for March, 8th to come. I even made a friend to play with. I recommend it to everybody. But I have a question. I have a choice between buying the game from Steam and download it where my friend is, and buying it on Disk from the local store. Buying it on Disk is like $20 cheaper here, but my question is if I do buy it on disk, how do I play with my friend? I know the game is Uplay only - meaning it goes through Uplay even when using Steam. But does that mean that we will be able to play together? How does that work? And how Do I find him in the game? If you have played it you know that you can invite people around you (their avatar is near you). And the game is not like WOW where you choose the server, at least as far as I know - It wasn't like that in the Beta, so how do I find him if he isn't in the same server?
