Hi! I'm currently having a problem when setting my monitors refresh rate to 180 hz as most of my texts appear to have a weird color fuzz (see pic). This seems not to happen when setting the refresh rate lower (165/144/120 etc) Monitor in use : LG 27GP850-B 165hz OCable to 180hz GPU: Gtx 970 using DP Also somethings to note, when setting the monitor to 180hz, I lose the ability to choose RGB + Full in the Nvidia Color settings and instead is limited to YCbCr422 and Limited Output Dynamic Range. Could this be an issue of an outdated Displayport version of the 970? Bandwidth etc? Thanks for the Info. P.S. I specifically blurred the image so that the color fuzz would be more apparent. The clear version is set at 165hz and the 180hz is the blurry one.

Hi guys! Last time, when i had a problem with programming I got quick and good answers here, so i thought I would share one of my other problems here. So, I have a task, which for the upper level IT High School exam. I have to read data from a txt file, into arrays. program eutazas; uses crt; var i,j,n:integer; megall:array[1..2000] of integer; datum:array[1..2000] of longint; kotojel:char; ido:array[1..2000] of string[4]; azon:array[1..2000] of longint; tipus:array[1..2000] of string[3]; lejarat:array[1..2000] of longint; szkoz:char;{szokozok beolvasasa} f:text; procedure beolvasas; var i:integer; begin assign(f,'utasadat.txt'); reset(f); for i:=1 to 2000 do readln(f,megall[i],szkoz, datum[i],kotojel, ido[i],szkoz, azon[i],szkoz, tipus[i],szkoz, lejarat[i]); close(f); {szamlalas} j:=1; repeat if azon[j]<>0 then inc(n); inc(j); until azon[j]=0; end;{beolvasas} This is(a part of) my code. 0 20190326-0700 4170861 NYB 20190404 And this is one line from the database txt file. I try to read every part of the line into different arrays. For the date and time(20190326-0700) first i used a string[13] array, but in a later task i had to use only the date part of it, so i had to make it a longint of array, with seperating the date and time. I used longint for the date part of it, a char for the '-' mark, and a string[4] for the time. But after that, it compiles, but when I try to run it I get Runtime Error 106(non-numeric value is read from a text file, and a numeric value was expected). Maybe the way i try to read it parts is messed up already. If thats the case, can anyone recommend me another way, to make it posibble. I have to use arrays, and it would be too much hassle to make new types, because the time for the exam is kinda short. Thank for any help in advance! Ps.: Oh, and sorry for the strange array names. They make sense in my language.

I got a new monitor recently, the Acer GN246HL, but I the small text is just not sharp. I don't know if this is because the monitor is cheap or if it's an actual problem. It seems to be the worst with rounded parts of the letters. ex. p,r,e,m,u Things I've tried to do: - Update graphics card drivers - Install a new color profile - Changed to native resolution (1080 x 1920 144hz) Reference Thanks for any help, LTT community.

So for some work my team needs a new tool that lets them write in rich text (as they don't know html), but easily grab the html source for it. So rich text they can easily edit on one side, and the html on the other. Basically we need this: https://html-online.com/editor/ ...but as a program. While that site is great, it has a few odd bugs, and obviously needs an internet connection to get to the site. However the biggest issue is that it doesn't auto save, so if you accidentally close the tab, refresh, click a button etc it can wipe out all the work. Essentially what we've got is a bunch of articles in HTML, that we need to edit, but in rich text. The best tool I've found so far seems to be BlueGriffon, but just wondered if you guys know of any other tools that might work. Thanks

So, at work, we just found out that a software we use to manage our databases will be making some major changes in the next year. One major change is how we upload raw data to the database. Currently, we can upload text (tab delimited) files and/or .csv and everything works fine, but they are changing it to only accept .xml files. It won't be a big deal to start creating them as these files, the problem is that we now need to convert years worth of raw data into xml format. Is there terminal based tool (or anything else in Linux) that can handle the conversion?

So, I was on my phone today, just wasting time. I went to put it away, and pressed the lock button the lock the screen - except apparently I didn't. I must not have clicked it properly (it's slightly broken on my phone) and a few minutes later I get a text. Turns out, my phone (because it's screen was on) was clicking all sorts of stuff in my pocket, and I found that it had clicked an ad for a company called SnackGames. The text said the following: "Thank you for subscribing to SnackGames' premium text service for £2.70/wk! Send STOP to 89365 to opt out." Obviously, I immediately sent the text to cancel this bullshit subscription which my phone had accidentally signed on to. I got a confirmation text "You have unsubscribed from SnackGames' weekly service" and that should have been the end of it, right? Wrong. 20 minutes later I got another text, "Enjoy UNLIMITED Games @ Snackgames!", etc. etc. Fuck. So, what do I do? I don't want to keep receiving texts from these people, nor do I want to be paying weekly for them. I texted them STOP, but I got another message from them less than a half hour later. Is there anything I can do to get them to leave me alone permanently, and ensure they're not taking my money?

I have just bought a 1440p ultrawide monitor for PC usage: gaming, work and everything in between. It's truly stunning for use on PC but I realised that this resolution is essentially 2x1080p meaning if you're going to display a 1080p resolution, the text gets disgustingly blurred, losing the sharpness of the text. This is disappointing for ancient tech such as the Xbox One and the Raspberry Pi that aren't capable of big boy resolutions. 1) Point being, is there anything I can do about this to make the text sharp again while using a 1080p resolution on a 1440p monitor? 2) Is this normal? I assume it is, it makes sense. It just didn't occur to me before. If nothing can be done, this new awesome monitor will unfortunately be getting sent back

Im in the middle of a small programming assignment right now, and am stumped. What needs to be done is-> Create a batch file called yourfirstname.cmd to perform the following steps: · If the value of the userdomain variable is equal to the value of the computername variable then Store into a file called yourfirstname.txt the following information: i. The current username ii. The current computername iii. The nslookup information for www.disney.com How far ive gotten on the other hand is so= IF USERDOMAIN == COMPUTERNAME GOTO Text :Text echo.>"C:\Abdullah.txt" rem Saved in C:\cake.txt echo USERNAME >> cake.txt echo COMPUTERNAME >> cake.txt This task itself is easy, but I only really know C#, and not batch. The syntax is a mystery to me, and ive spent a while looking at stackoverflow which has helped me get this far ( no idea if it even works ) , but I cant figure out how to do the nslookup and save it into the txt file.

Currently I use Ting with my Samsung Galaxy S7, and have been using it for around two years without any major issues (Aside from shit coverage in some areas that I frequent), however I'm wanting to switch to a different service provider as Ting gets too expensive once you start using a reasonable amount of minutes/texts/data. I'm located in SE Michigan, USA. I'd prefer to keep the plan to $40 USD maximum. A few things I want from it... - Unlimited talk and text - At least 2GB of data - Tethering enabled (I sometimes need to use my laptop tethered to my phone, and would rather not have to pay extra for this.) - Good coverage (4G/LTE) - Decent data speeds (At least 4Mb/s is good) - Reasonable technical support (As long as they're better than Comcast, I can handle them.) - Supports BYOD (I don't want to have to buy a new phone, I'd rather just bring my Galaxy S7 [International Unlocked, GSM] over with me) I'm considering Cricket right now, though have heard fairly mixed reviews on it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, if you are reading this, some/all of the text in your post is invisible. This is probably because you copy pasted text from somewhere, or changed the colour yourself. Please follow these steps to fix it: Thank you and have a nice day

It's really annoying. Any ideas? What do you make of this?

Hello all! I am looking for a new monitor for my music arranging rig. To give some context, this monitor sits above a piano and will spend virtually all of its life displaying black text and symbols on a white background. I am using this for sheet music music with occasional DAW workloads. So I do not need refresh rate, g sync, pixel density, crazy color accuracy. I am just looking for a monitor that can display a decent amount of text (If I could have 2 documents displayed side by side, that would be cool) that looks pretty sharp with the black on white text and little symbols. VESA mounting would be a plus, but not a deal breaker. Thanks! Tektek

So as of now i have an iPhone 7. And pretty much everyone in my family has one, which makes messaging easy. I want to switch to a Samsung note 9. But what's holding me back is having issues texting my family. Not everyone is the best with technology in my family, and using a different app like FaceBook Messanger might make thing confusing for some. So, my question is, does anyone have trouble sending messages back and fourth between and iPhone and a Samsung? Are there apps for andriods the make it possible to iMessage apple devices?
