I am only saying this because of one g2a feature: G2A shield. Holy sh** is it terrible. First they hook you in to a "free trial" which you cant deactivate for a month, and which also auto renews if you have attached a payment method. ALSO did I mention that you can't detach a payment method unless you wait a month. Then, after waiting one month, it takes you through a long deactivation process, where it tries to persuade, and then bribe you to stay with shield. After that you have to wait 20 minutes for an email (not UP TO 20 minutes, I had to wait a FULL 20). Then when I got my email, I clicked the link and was greeted with the message "Invalid Token". GREAT! I went through the process again and it finally worked. Only 40 minutes of my time wasted. NICE! This seems like an EXTREMELY shady business model, designed to hook you in to a subscription without your knowledge and steal a few dollars from you every month. CONCLUSION: DON'T USE G2A I have also used kinguin and have had positive experiences with the purchase and with customer service, so I would recommend kinguin if you have to buy game keys.

Buy Tablets on Amazon: http://geni.us/eP7k Tablets generally aren't good, but just how bad can they be?? We found one for $37, and it's about as bad as they get...

Alright so a while back I sold my Evga 960 and got a Gigabyte Xtreme gaming 1060. Everything seemed good except for a couple crashes that DDU solved (temporarily) but I have recently been attempting to overclock it a little but it just crashes even in the preset overclock mode. This card crashes when underclocked when it is stressed during a render (Blender, Paint.net, Firealpaca, Ethminer and even in some games like CSGO). What should I do with it? Should I see if its still possible to get a refund, just try an RMA or any other suggestions to do with this PoS.

So I needed a new laptop, as my old X5-Z8350 laptop wasn't cutting it. So I went on Kogan and ordered the UltraSlim X350 here: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-atlas-ultraslim-x350-notebook/ It took a while to get here from Hong Kong, but it came in some very basic packaging, much like private label "Home Brand" food packaging. It's a nice laptop, full aluminium body, very sturdy, except, when I turned it on, I noticed something wrong.... Notice the little "EVALUATION COPY"? The AMI BIOS is the testing version. It seems the BIOS doesn't really know WHAT the laptop is... And then it gets worse... The sheer number of settings available here is quite intimidating. There's a ton of menus and submenus, includng options to enable hardware the laptop doesn't physically have, mess with Trusted Computing and TPM, and, amazingly, enable all the debug points on the laptop's motherboard. Yikes! Apparently, I'm also able to "enable" software DSP processing in the BIOS. Not sure how this works, but it's there, folks! I can also unlimit the CPU wattage, which is NOT something I want to be doing in this passively-cooled laptop, which already gets hot enough when watching 4K video (HDMI 2.0 is nice). The wonky laptop setup also made for an interesting Device Manager list for HID devices... I wiped off the Windows 10 (after carefully backing up the EMMC!), installed a 128GB SATA m.2 SSD, and installed Manjaro Linux. According to user reviews on Kogan, I am not the only one to have received my laptop in this state. Besides the wonky asf setup, the laptop performs quite well, with an OK screen (looks nice, but has backlight bleed in edges), an above-average keyboard for this price point, and is very snappy, despite being powered by a Celeron N4000 processor. If anyone wants more details about the laptop, I'll try to give them as best I can!

So last Year i bought an RX 480 8GB Devil from Powercolor, and boy oh boy it was filled with troubles, Terrible cooling, despite having the largest aside the Strix version in Short, the videocard had a Metal Backplate to act as "support" and was told by powercolor themselves not to remove it, turns out that shit traps heat radiating from the back of the hard overheating components thus crashing (giving a black screen) even with the gpu die itself being at a healthy 70c so well, i simply removed every fucking piece of metal aesthetic bs and the card dropped from 72 (with fans at 65%) to 60c! while gaming heavily in OC mode (1330mhz) i even ramped the fans down to 55% and it stays constatly at 70c, Avoid Powercolor Cards, this isnt the first one ive seen like this, i bought it new from amazon.com for 220$, and returned it once, recieved another shitty card performance is great, is just that the card/cooling is crap

This is a 2009 Dell inspiron 537s. It has a Pentium CPU, which I could not find for the life of me, a motherboard that I have no clue about, no graphics card, and DDR2 memory. It is about the dustiest thing I have ever seen. When I opened it, I got a pain in the lungs and started coughing uncontrollably. It runs XP, and it can barely boot Firefox. The power supply has a bunch of Chinese lettering on it, so I am worried about the quality and weather my family will die in a fire when it eventually explodes. Bask in the glory of the 2009 537s.

Is the iPhone 5 completely terrible? I didn't think so until what is in the attached image happened this morning. I didn't drop it or anything, I was just holding it and texting and then I felt something else other than the phone in my hand, then I saw what had happened, I then put my case on and am probably never going to take it off again...any tips on getting this to stay in place again or why this even happened in the first place?

List software you HATE but HAVE to use. For me that would be the biggest piles of sh*t the universe has ever seen: ORIGIN/UPLAY Can't they just use Steam?

The quality of streaming on vessel is pretty bad for me in New Zealand. I am able to watch youtube videos at 1440p@60Hz, however vessel's service seems to stutter, or not load at all, when streaming 480p upwards. Is anyone else having these issues?

Why does Chrome suck so badly with battery life? Only Google knows, but its something that grinds my gears as well. I stopped using Chrome because of how much it ate my battery for no discernible performance increase over other browsers, especially when other browsers have the extensions I use anyways. Hopefully Google takes this seriously. I'm sure this isn't a problem exclusive to MacBooks. Either way, not amusing when people straight up switch away just to get back battery life they are owed. http://www.theverge.com/2015/4/10/8381447/chrome-macbook-battery-life

Ahh HTC, just when you thought it couldn't possibly get any worse for your company, it does. HTCs been on the brink for years, the M7 saved their bacon as being one of the first Android devices worth owning, but their bumbling of their finances and future releases has brought them right back to where they were at the tail end of the Windows Phone 6.5 days - staring down probable ruin. I'd say I wish them a speedy recovery, but not really. They've screwed themselves over far too often. They deserve it, IMHO. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-06-08/htc-drops-to-decade-low-after-cutting-quarterly-sales-forecast http://bgr.com/2015/06/11/htc-one-m9-sales-share-price/

So my internet has been inconsistant with Comcast. Some nights I get 8.1Mbps and some nights I would only get 1.5Mbps but I could load most pages and videos on youtube at standard resolution. I was ok with this. I could get by with daily tasks and most evenings I had no problem. The past four days have been especially bad. Like 107kbps download BAD! The past two days it has been all day, morning, evening, and night. It is also a very wierd pattern of issues. When I initially try to load my email or a webpage or a video my ping spikes and it struggles to load. Once it gets past a certain point, it will load at a decent rate and lowest quality. I have reset my router, changed passwords, scanned my personal computer for viruses, called comcast and nothing has helped. It's very irritating to not even be able to load email images, or videos, let alone games. My setup is a comcast modem/router with a linksys router connected. My personal computer is one story down and using wifi, but I have a second desktop connected via ethernet to the comcast modem. Both are having the issue. Any advice/input would be greatly appriciated. TT_______TT Thank you.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2369135/ The Need For Speed movie...ill admit the plot is kindof meh but its a go fast car movie, im not really lookin for a plot. This is very much like a FnF movie with one HUGE difference. Its vastly more realistic. The car and general action stunts are really really amazing while being immensely toned down as compared to a movie like the last few FnF movies, which were awesome, but increasingly unrealistic that leaves you with more of a "pssshhh yeah fuckin right" instead of a "holy shit that was awesome!" The movie gets a 6.6 on IMDB which is actually an alright score but on its release it was bemoaned by critics and torn down for a cheap FnF wannabe.

Am I the only one completely disappointed with the soundtrack on the Radio stations in GTA V? Not just the music, but the talk radio as well. I especially hated what they did to Lazlo, not so much as in the main story, but what they did to him on the radio. That and the other talk radio shows are just....god awful and annoying. Not as funny as they used to be.

If you're wondering who and what DxO is, they are a testing body who look at the objective side of things when it comes to camera perforce. None of the "it looks good", just a raw analysis of the hardware and how it performs, usually in studio/ideal conditions, to see just what good the tech underneath really is. And for the HTC One M9? The tech is kinda shitty. I mean, when you aren't even beating a 4S in objective tests designed to see where your sensors and software excel/fail...that kinda says it all doesn't it? It seems that the HTC One needs a software boost before it needs a sensor boost, given how the sensor itself isn't actually bad at all, which is frustrating given all the things HTC has been doing that they screwed the pooch on the camera software along with all the other hardware related mistakes of the One M9. Android users have no fear however, the Note 4, S6 and G4 are all stellar shooters with very robust software to complement their sensors to give you a great shooting experience. http://www.dxomark.com/Mobiles/HTC-One-M9-Review-M8-s-successor-on-DxOMark/HTC-One-M9-Imaging-Results

TV and movies are FULL of critical misunderstandings about how technology actually works. In large part, we can forgive them, but sometimes there are moments that are too terrible to forgive. List them all here. I'll start. NCIS: Just...just watch...the pain...I don't even...

One of the disappointing things about Skyrim for me is the intro, it's fine for the first time, but once you start making more characters it gets very boring quite quickly. There is no sense of epic-ness like you get with Oblivion, or drama like you get with fallout 3, how this intro passed Todd's quality control is beyond me. well you judge for yourself. Oblivion's Intro, short and sweet : Video Fallout 3's intro, atmospheric and dramatic : Video Skyrim's Intro, long and boring : Video

My friend sent me this link and I felt sufficiently terrified to share it with all of you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XStTAiiwDEw Captions are recommended and please do it while you are alone. I'm still not sure what he is trying to do.

Post at /. Well... that's interesting. Here's the link to the service. I REALLY like the background explosion thingie. But the question is: Will anyone use it? (I assume yes.) I won't for varying reasons (none to do with it being Kim Dotcom and the like, I just don't use music services.) What do you guys think? Both of the service and the album? I'm not an EDM fan, so ... yeah no. Not interested.

I am a long time user of Google Chrome and absolutely love it. I show Chrome off to my friends and family demonstrating the speed at which the browser pops up and the way the browser is intertwined with an android phone. I have tried to use different variants of Firefox but they all have limitations. For example, while I was using WaterFox, Battlelog just refused and said it didn't recognize the browser. When I tried to use the vanilla version of Firefox the browser is slow to open (compared to chrome). Now its time to discuss the reason why I am making this post. During the past couple months features that worked on chrome perfectly fine, no longer function. The first of my complaints is the 'Recent Tabs'. On the older version of chrome in the bottom right hand corner of the 'New Tab' page, which is simple to access and worked. Now I am just going to list off the issues relating to it to make this a shorter post and to stop the chance of a full blown rant. They implemented a keyboard short cut (Crtl + Shift+ T) to bring up the last closed tab, but it is more random than a Bing search result. The last tab function just doesn't work at all. I can use my laptop all day, connected to the internet and when I go to use a desktop. The Desktop claims that the last time a tab was opened on the laptop was 2-3 weeks ago. In older versions of the browser the computer could blue screen and return to desktop. The recent tabs would have all your tabs still there, it made it easy to pick and choose which tabs you wanted. Now, it opens every damn tab that you abused, 5-10 youtube videos start auto playing, and massive pdf pages re-download. So, I just end up closing all the windows and start again. Tonight, when trying to signing into my university's assignment drop box page ( i guess it can be called that), the finger print sensor refused to start. It turns out chrome had uninstalled the browser extension for the finger print scanner to work. There was a link for more info which had some really infuriating lines on it such as: Source Oh okay you want to make chrome safer, Cool, So... Can I just re-enable this feature that comes with my laptop. Oh, no? But, I know what it is. Still no, well okay. You want me to contact the distributor and tell them to put it on your web store? For my protection, that's the reason I have to do this? I want to leave this Chrome wagon but I can't, I need help. This wagon is being piloted by a drunk ape and its going down very quickly. My problem with firefox is that it is slow to open. I can count 3 steam boats before the browser opens, meanwhile with chrome if I will get confused because it feels like it opened before I clicked on it. I forced my self last December to use Firefox for a month. I did it, but I eventually switched back because the android version of Firefox is not good at all. Its slow and didn't even play youtube videos correctly (I don't remember what it was doing, I just remember it being an issue.) I also had an issue with Water fox not updating so I had to go back to the website and do it manually. I am going to leave chrome once again and hopefully this time for good. Writing that reminded me of an option in chrome to leave it running in the background and the 'do not disturb' button didn't work, I would get more notifications with it on than off because it would keep repeating the same notification. Google is like General Motors, no matter how many times they screw up people keep coming back. Is it just me with these issues or is everyone just kind of ignoring them?
