Hello my fellas, whats up? I'm going to need to upgrade my setup soon because my wifes pc is dying, so we agree to pass mines to her and i build a new one. That being said: My budget allows me to go with a 12th gen and a DDR4 mobo, but i need the chipset to be overclockable. I believe its the Z590/Z690 chipsets, but i need tips in building that pc. My GPU is ROG 3060 12gb and my PSU is a Corsair 850w Gold. I do a lots of tasks that use multiple cores and large bandwiths of RAM (Virtualizations, Ps, Ai, lots and lots of tabs on OperaGX), and of course gaming. Let me sse what you guys think

Hello everyone, I've been encountering some perplexing issues with my audio setup recently, and I'm hoping to seek your expertise in resolving them. Here's a breakdown of my configuration: Audio Equipment: Headphones: Audio Technica ATH-M30x Speakers: F&D HT 330 Microphone: Maono AU-A03 Condenser Microphone Sound Card: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd Gen) Additionally, here's a list of USB-connected devices on my PC: Logitech G102 Mouse Glorious Model O Wireless Mouse Focusrite 2i2 (Audio Interface) Logitech C920 Webcam USB to Ethernet Adapter (for internet connection) Keychron K10 Keyboard Rapoo V600S Controller Dongle Notably, none of these components are directly connected to my PC; they all route through the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. I've also taken the precaution of disabling two other devices in my Device Manager to prevent any interference: the Logitech C920 webcam (which can pick up audio) and the Asus VG248QG monitor (which can produce sound). Here are the specific issues I've been facing: 1. Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Troubles: On occasion, my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 ceases to function, resulting in a complete loss of audio. This means I can't hear anything, whether it's through my headphones or speakers. 2. Microphone Problems in Discord: When I join a stream on Discord, my microphone mysteriously stops working, unless I disable the "echo cancellation" feature in Discord. Furthermore, even when I'm watching someone else's stream on Discord, my microphone fails to function in other applications like Google Meet on Google Chrome. These issues cropped up after I recently reinstalled Windows a couple of weeks ago. I suspect that some settings may have been inadvertently altered during the reinstallation process. Okay, so my detailed hardware info is as below: CPU Primary: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard Primary: Asus ROG Strix B450-F RAM Primary: G.Skill Trident Z Royal RGB 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 3600MHz GPU Primary: ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1660 Super Twin Fan 6GB Case Primary: Gamemax Rockstar 2 Storage Primary: Gigabyte 120GB SATA SSD, Samsung 870 EVO 500GB SSD, Toshiba 1TB (7200 RPM) & Seagate Barracuda 1TB (7200 RPM) PSU Primary: Corsair CV550 550Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Display(s) Primary: ASUS VG248QG (24”, Full HD, 0.5ms, overclockable 165Hz) & Xiaomi Redmi 21.45" FHD (60Hz) Cooling Primary: AMD Wraith Prism Keyboard Keychron K8 Mouse Primary: Glorious Model O Wireless & Logitech G102 Sound Headphones: Audio Technica ATH-M30x, Speakers: F&D HT 330, Sound Card: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd Gen), Microphone: Maono AU-A03 Condenser Microphone Operating System Windows 10 Professional

Hello, while I'm playing games like League of Legends my game will stutter as in freeze for a brief moment before going back to normal (Brief as in a second or less, but this really affects playing the game) I'm confused why.. I can list my specs here but I think it may to due to temperatures. I have MD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor, 3701 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) gtx 1070 32 gigs of ram and motherboard BaseBoard Product TUF GAMING B550-PLUS usually nothing is really maxed out while playing games except my GPU but im not sure that can cause stuttering like that so I was leaning more towards temperatures. I took a pic of my idle temperatures. I built the pc a few years back and kept a gpu from a pc i had in 2016. It was only the 2nd one I built but its been working so I dont see how I couldve done something that would make it do this. I also reset my pc to see if that was the issue and its still doing it on a fresh install.. thanks for anyone who reads

Hello fellow tech nerds I need some assistance. My PC recently had some crashes and ended up dying on me. There’s hope yet, my wife’s PC! With an RX 6650XT and an AMD 5600x it’s a 1080p monster. Now to my questions, her PC has two M.2 Slots and 1 is occupied by her main storage and OS (Windows 11), I was wondering if it was possible to put MY 2TB M.2 that has my OS (also Win 11). I want to create a sort of Dual Windows PC with 2 of the same OS. Is this even possible? The plan is to upgrade her PC with my 3080 but use two different storage systems, one for her and one for me. I think this will be an amazing project for us to work on (we build our PCs together so it’s a hobby we both enjoy); but I have no idea where to even begin or again if it’s even possible, I was hoping someone in this forum has done this or can help. Any suggestions will go a long way and I hope to be able to accomplish this and share it with everyone here.

AMD 3900x and its poor gaming performance in recent titles
Pon3BoI posted a topic in Troubleshooting
So I have recently switched from team blue to red based off of recommendations from a few friends when making my latest build for gaming. I got the 3900x when the recent Ryzen 5 came out as I looked at reviews and cheap brand new CPUs for me to purchase. The CPU out of the box worked breat for a few months but as my games updated, newer titles released I can bearly get to a constant 60 FPS. At first I thought it was my GPU so I upgraded to a 3070 and I am still having issues. I cannot play warzone or mw2, I cannot play games like SMITE (conquest) which is over 10 years old. I attempted to over clock my cpu but ended up frying my m.2 as the AMD software did a test run for the oc. I am here mainly to talk about any grievences that anyone else might have with the 3900x specifically and if I can get any solutions other than just upgrade the CPU. -
Recently built first pc and had issues now VGA red light on and won’t boot PC: 5800x corsair lpx 32gb 3600mhz c18 palit 3080 gamingpro corsair rm850w gold psu msi mag b550 tomahawk cooler scythe fuma 2 kingston a200 1tb ssd all issues: 1.got small amount of thermal paste on cpu pins wiped some off with kitchen roll, thermal paste was non conductive 2.stupidly tried to boot pc without cou cooler on for only a few seconds 3.RAM running at 2666mhz instead of rated 3600mhz a. tried a-xmp profile 1 & 2: didn’t work b. tried setting d-ram frequency to 3600mhz: wouldn’t boot windows just returned to bios at 2666mhz tried different settings such as memory try it with 3600mhz and same timings as a-xmp: didn’t work reset to 3600mhz weeks later i attempted this again i slowly increased the d-ram frequency gradually (with everything else set to auto) only booting into bios not windows and it was working this way, when i reached 3600mhz it wouldn’t boot into windows so i lowered it to 3300mhz and it booted into windows (not sure if placebo but seemed like opening tabs and apps seemed slower) this worked alright until i tried to load valorant launcher and it turned off, turned my pc back on and tried again then computer started to make siren noise and screen went black but could still hear yt video i was watching in background, i turned the pc off with the power button and rebooted into bios and RAM was reset to 2666mhz. booted into windows fine all seemed good but pc crashed when left idle and entered sleep mode finally bringing us to today. played some games with relatives and all seemed good, ran userbenchmark and my pc crashed. rebooted and re ran it filming the operating it crashed once again and i saw it was as soon as it began to benchmark my gpu. rebooted pc and loaded into battlefield 4 and had no issues was running as expected msi afterburned showed gpu usage not getting above 75 ish %, closed bf4 opened internet browser and started watching yt and had msi afterburner up on second monitor which showed gpu usage at 0% during video after 10 mins of this i pressed my spacebar to pause video and the screen went black. tried to turn pc back on but wouldn’t boot with the gpu fans spinning but the vga red light on. re seated gpu and same situation. thank you if you made it this far im sorry for my immense stupidity and seeming lack of care i don’t know why i do the stupid things i do but please if anyone can help me i would be eternally great full. absolutely any help would amazing

HP Pavilion Gaming Ryzen 7 Octa Core 4800H - (16 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/4 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce 1650Ti) 15-EC1512AX Gaming Laptop (15.6 inch, Shadow Black, 2.19 kg, With MS Office) Is this machine worth buying? I am a student (college next year) and play games quite often on laptop... I wanted to know if this laptop is futureproof for me at least until 2025-26? Can it handle most of the games available today? Does it have sufficient battery backup? Is the I/O and cooling appreciable? Any other suggestions within this price range will be highly appreciated. Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing well. Just hoping if you could give a me hand with the following issue. I've just received my newly bought monitor (Viotek GNV27DB) and it works wonders, no dead pixels, came in perfect shape, it runs smoothly however... the buttons, they don't seem to register any input. When I first connected it to my testbench, the monitor itself wouldn't turn on and I started panicking, tried several different hdmi cables, power cables, wall outlets and even pcs to no avail. It wasn't until I fliped it over (While checking for cable connections) that I pressed the power button and it finally turned on. Relieved I thought it might have been a problem with th power cable that I was just checking, but I soon noticed that the buttons on the monitor weren't working properly. The OSD wouldn't appear everytime I pressed the menu button, I couldn't get the monitor to turn off, etc. This lasted for about 3 minutes until the buttons went completetly dead and I couldn't get a response from them ever again. My guess is that the problem resides on the pcb that controls both the buttons and the power LED as the LED doesn't turn on at all, even when the monitor is showing an image (Manual says it should) Would love if you could give me any tips or inisght on what could the problem be or how to solve it without having to resort to some RMA or refund process (I live in Argentina, far away from the rest of the world, and shipping times and cost are wuite high) Thanks in advance for your help!

What Mics are they using in scrapyard wars when they're just walking around, or out of shot and the mic pics up just fine. I assume they're lavaliers, but, does anyone know the model/brand mics they are. The quality is so good. I want to price some out. I'd pay a pretty penny.

Hear me out guys and girls and help me solve this dillema i'm in. There was supposed to be a huge giveaway with signed things and others from linus to anywhere in the world of sorts. You get the idea of it. You guys must have seen his giveaway video and the signing up for the other site instead of youtube and then free yearly subscription thingy and then to watch his videos there beforehand and other stuffs. The thing being my question is that video was taken off air and deleted perhaps nowhere to be found the threads gone where we were supposed to comment too. So, What just happened? Did it get cancelled? Did it not ? was there a winner? I have no idea and nowhere can i find any info about that either. So, I'm asking you guys to figure this out for me if anyone of you knows what actually happened because we do need an explaination for that right? Thanks guys, truly the best you are...

Basically the title says it all. We all love the professionalism/quality with wich LTT Videos are made today. I watch this channel since the first videos wich were at NCIX. And In the early Videos they often left some fails/bloopers in. But now with getting more professional they tend to not show em anny more. Sure in the regular Videos they should not be. BUUT ChannelSuperFun would be such a perfect place for it. I think its one of the most funny channels on YT anyway. So what about a monthly format on channel superfunn "LinusFailTips" or anything similar. This would be SO FUNNY. We all love the LMG guys and wanna see them fail . AND for sure it would be a perfect promotion for the ChannelSuperFun. So what do yu guys think? Who wants Fail/blooper videos?
