After 6 months of owning my first rig, I realized it wasn't using the full protentional of the ram I got due to my fault on finding compatible options. It crashes when OC to max speed in BIOS with XMP. The mobo specs only officially supports the OC speed in single channel 16gb as opposed to the full 32gb dual channel. I'm looking to replace the case and motherboard in the very near future to change the form factor and make use of the memory capabilities. Honestly I've been looking for a while but am struggling to find a compatible mobo without also upgrading the cpu. These are my current specs: Mobo: Z590 AORUS PRO AX with specs here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z590-AORUS-PRO-AX-rev-10/sp#sp Memory: 2x16gb TEAM GROUP XTREEM ARGB DDR4 4000Mhz as listed in specs here: https://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/product/xtreem-argb-ddr4 Gpu: NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX™ 3090 - EVGA FTW3 ULTRA GAMING Cpu: 10900K Psu: NZXT C1000 Gold Case: NZXT H510 Storage: Single M.2 (i know the mobo has a crazy amount of options just never used them) Cooling: Kraken X63 RGB Future build specs requirements by order of importance: 1. Reduce size of case dramatically | Preserve GPU 2. Preserve current CPU and RAM at max rated dual channel speed 3. Preserve current cooling 4. Preserve Psu Fr Fr I'm open to suggestions, I'm down if there's any mobo out there that supports the OC RAM speed + 10th gen i9 even if it isn't mini ITX so long as the case is smaller than the H510 midtower. The plan is to move to Mexico without bringing a bulky flashy pc that yells gamer/big bucks.

Anybody know why Team Group's elite packs of 8GB ram have become unavailable? I know this is only on Overclockers but I can't seem to find that pack anywhere else either. I'm going to assume they've become outdated, and moved on to better hardware? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team-group-elite-8gb-2x4gb-ddr4-pc4-19200c16-2400mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-tpkd48gm2400hc16dc0-my-065-tg.html Cheers

Hi guys. Decided to share a quick review regarding some RAM I have found from Team Group that seam to me to be a best buy. But more importantly that they will let me install the Alpenföhn Black Ridge low profile cooler in the Dan A4 v4 SFX case. Until that cooler arrives I decide to share some thoughts on the Vulcan-Z. Other popular choice for that are, of course the Corsair Vengeance LPXs, but I wanted to give these a try as well. They come up to 16GB kits all the way to 3200 MHz and are 32.8 mm in height (Just shy of the 33mm limit for the Black Ridge – still fingers crossed lol). Here they are compared to my 53 mm tall Night Hawks RGB ones. Missing the RGB though but sometimes you can't have everything. Then I decided to try to OC them. Exactly like the Night Hawks, I squeezed another ‘free’ 200 MHz just from the XMP/DOCP profile without any changes for voltages, latencies etc. Did some quick tests which show some gains and Witcher 3 profited from those extra increase in bandwidth – 1 or 2 fps as an average. I am not that into OC’ing so I didn’t feel the need to push them further than 1.45v for 3600 MHz. They survived a Cinebench R15 but failed the AIDA64 benchmark. With some extra fiddling I am sure they could be stable but again not my main interest especially since they have A-Die chips which shouldn’t OC that high as the B-Die ones but still quite impressed with the extra free stock profile headroom. My only complain is mainly to aesthetics, maybe they should offer more heatsink color options to match more system schemes. I will update with extra pictures how everything comes into place when my new CPU coolers arrives. Thank you

I bought a Team T Force Vulcan DDR4 3000 mhz 2 x 8 gb Ram Kit from outlet PC and it came Defective I contacted both Team Group USA and Outlet PC to get my ram replaced and they both stated they cant because I removed the warranty stickers. I searched online and saw that warranty stickers don't matter if the unit is defective, that its the manufacturers responsibility to replace defective units. And Outlet PC representative also agreed with me in this aspect.Am i in the right? Should i take this all the way with the FTC if Team Group doesn't replace my defective unit? The problem with my RAM is that it has caused the blue screen of death for the past month multiple times. the error being Memory Management and NFTS.sys file. Both micro center and Team Group RMA said there seemed to be a problem with my ram. Meaning hardware not software.

Recently did a massive system overhaul and put in 2 new sticks of ram. Just now finding out that slots A1 and B1 are extremely problematic. Sometimes if I am really lucky it will run at 2400mhz with very poor stability (minecraft and discord crash a ton, system randomly shuts off). I've tested every stick in slot B2 and they all boot fine at 3000 mhz (advertised speed). They also all work fine in A2 and B2 configurations (primary slots), but when I try to boot with any stick in slots A1 or B1 I will get some sort of error. Slot A2 will try to boot and maybe run for a minute at 2400mhz, and B2 will usually just either make the system POST loop or shutdown entirely. I've tried using XMP and manually configuring settings, nothing works. It's not a power draw thing, I've tested multiple configurations of devices. At this point I'm either thinking something is wrong with the memory channels on my CPU or there is something wrong with the chipset or slots on my motherboard. Basically all I'm asking is if anyone else has had similar issues, and what ended up fixing it. SPECS: ASUS B450-f Gaming ROG STRIX Ryzen 7 2700 w/ standard cooler MSI AERO OC GTX 1080 2x4GB Team Group Delta RGB at 3000mHz (Have an extra 2 I'm planning to install once this is figured out)

Hi, I'm going to build a PC with Ryzen 3 1300x and have several question to ask since I don't want it to be a false decision in any point. Is it better than Ryzen 3 2200G? The differences I know are, in term of cache, the 1300x has twice the 2200G cache. The system memory specification for 1300x is 2667Mhz, and 2993Mhz for the 2200G. Does the system memory specification means I can't go higher than 2667Mhz ram speed? Since I'm planning to put Team T-Force Vulcan 3000Mhz (2x8GB) in it. Will it run well with Asrock AB350M-HDV board? Since I'm on a tight budget and the cheapest B350 (but from a good brand) motherboard is this one. I'm planning to do some mild OC on it, probably will go to 3,7-3,8Ghz, will the wraith stealth cooler do good or should I get an aftermarket (air)cooler? If yes, what is the best low budget air cooler (with AM4 out of the box compatibility) that is better than the wraith stealth? For the graphic card, I found a good deal for Asus Strix GTX 970 OC 4GB Edition for the price of 1050Ti. Will the 1300x and 970 come along well or is there any possible bottleneck? All these will be powered by Cooler Master MWE 500W and I know it is a good PSU since it's on tier 4 of linustechtips PSU Tier List.

Hey guys I'm planning to buy a 1TB SSD for my games and some applications, the Team Elite GX2 1TB is the cheapest in my area only costing $100. The rest of the 1TB like Silicone Power A55 is at $125. Sandisk at $131. Western Digital Green $125. Western Digital Blue $160. For the 500GB - 512GB Team Elite GX2 is at $47. Silicone Power A55 $68. Western Digital Blue $69. Kingston $84. The 512GB Team Elite GX2 for $47 looks very good to me too. Is Team Elite GX2 a good SSD brand/model?

ram What should I do with a broken RAM stick?
BonkersTA posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I I have been having many Blue Screens lately and in some cases my computer just straight not booting properly. I did a bit of research and found out that one of my 4GB RAM sticks (out of a 2 x 4GB (8GB) pair) had a hardware problem (I found this out via Windows Memory Diagnostic). After doing some experimenting with both stick individually I found out which one was broken. I have now removed it from my PC (so while I now only have 4GB, it is better then constant crashes) but now I have a broken RAM stick that I can't use or trade in with. Those anyone have any idea what I should do with it that would be convenient rather than just throwing in the bin. P.S. I know that Windows Memory Diagnostic says that when I hardware problem is the case I should contact the manufacturer. Unfortunately it is a pre-built custom PC from Overclockers UK and I have replaced the Motherboard, CPU and HDD in it since I received that computer. Not only that but the RAM I have is from Team Group, who's head offices are set in Eastern Asia and I really don't want to go through the hassle when I will be just replacing it with fast RAM later on anyway. Thank you for reading and your responses will be most appreciated. -
Every week or so, one day i will I notice my RAM usage slowly climb until it reaches max and then i experience big slow downs. It uses about 100MB of RAM every 3-5 seconds until it uses all 16GBs.I have 16GB of DDR2400, Team Group RAM. Only about 1GB of this RAM gets reported as used in task manager but "System and compressed memory" appears and uses the most when this happens (and reports 700MB of used RAM). Any ideas on what is happening here? A system restart solves this problem until it happens again.

So i'm willing to buy a pair of 16 gig RAM and as i was searching for prices on Newegg i came across this brand called Team Group, that btw i've never heard of, here's their website = http://www.teamgroup.com.tw/en.html And this is what they claim on their website "With over 20 years of computer peripherals production and sales experience, Team Group has established strong sales and customer service centers in Taiwan, and has over 300 global sales and customer service agents. Team Group global sales made success from differentiating sales strategies through the real-time market information, focusing on market characteristics, and using global vision and localized channel management to build a tight distribution network. Team Group has always been customer driven, thus series of memory products come with a lifetime warranty. We guarantee to send highest quality RMA product into the hands of every global customer with minimum delivery time." 20 years is alot of baggage so i decided to search more about this company, see what's up, and maybe buy their products if they prove to be trustworthy, cuz damn they are cheap... look at this for example = http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313407 A good start would be finding information about the chips used on their products, who manufactures them etc, all i could find is that they use "Strictly selected chips from original factories", 0 professional reviews showed up on Google which is very weird for a 20 year old company, the model i'm mainly interested in is this one: TLD316G2133HC11ADC01 Would be good to have a decent explanation about their nomenclature system and their main differences aswelll, i have spotted five potentially good series, they are the Team Zeus, Team Xtreem, Team Dark, Team Vulcan and Team Elite, there are more tho, full list here = http://www.teamgroup.com.tw/filterable_product/filterable_catalog/data/en/9/0/439322.html Help will be very much appreciated, depoiments of who already had or is having an experience with the brand products and RMA are very important too, if products are good, bad, working properly, etc..... Besides everyone could benefit from this "discovery" since black friday is right on the corner, if their product prove to be good, reliable and cheap i can't see a reason for not buying it. So, what you guys think of this brand? Thanks in advance

Budget (including currency): Bang for buck really Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Other details Phanteks P500a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AX (chosen for memory clocking at that price point - aswell as connectivity) Ryzen 5600x 2018 RM750x (most likely) - if anyone wants to suggest alternative for any reason go ahead. Nvidia RTX2060 6GB (until gpus dont cost as much as my entire build ha) Anyway the big question is which RAM. I dont want to overclock like crazy mhz - but would like to achieve something optimal with my 5600x. As far as I understand it dual rank config is ideal so 2xDR or 4xSR sticks.. But i think high binned B-DIE is generally expensive.. and Micron Rev E is easier on IMC and a bit cheaper.. However this is the most competitive B-Die i've found here in the UK is (and dual rank):- Team Group 8 Pack 3600 16-16-16-38 2x16gb Also considering 2x16gb Crucal Ballistix (16-18-18-36) - I think will be Rev E and most likely single rank though (sometimes dual -- but those reports seem from much ealier in the year and they then switched).. And final consideration is 2x 2x8gb Crucal Ballistix (16-18-18-36) -- Again Rev E -- 2 kits to achieve dual rank? Anyone have experience with any of these in this config? Which would you suspect to perform the best overall. There is about £40 difference vs guaranteed b-die and guaranteed dual rank provided by team group. Thanks!
