I dont know why this feature has stopped working out of nowhere. I loved it that how samsung detects face same like google photos and we can tag those faces, which helps alot in segregation of data. I have been to samsung community and its a legit query which is not being resolved. Please provide any solution for such problem., and now i am in never ending waiting line of Samsung tech related customer service call. tbh LInus must include samsungs tech related department too for that video of sh** service call handling of such corporatessss...ughhhh -
So recently I was just minding my own business on my pc when my cat who is only a few months old comes in my room and eventually comes on my bed then she goes on top of my pc case and then I decided to pick her up and my cat Desperately tries to cling onto my pc scratching it i checked and it looked like it was impossible to remove so are there any ways of removing scratched on a pc case?

If any of you work with computers for a living, what does your job entail specifically ? I'm just curious, as computers obviously pervade almost every single industry and type of job, so there must be some of you on here that do some real funky shit with computers for a living, what do you do ? I'll start I work for an AV Hire/Production company, i maintain, repair, deploy and hire-prep a fleet of about 300 machines ranging from macbooks, dell precisions, media server cabinets, and video blending racks. So basically my entire life is, installing windows, running Ccleaner, using clonezilla, phone activating microsoft office, testing PPT's that i know god damn well will run on my precision 7510's but the retard clients worry it's "too heavy", watching progress bars, torrenting to a ludicrous degree through the glorious company internet, and drinking coffee.

So I'm going to university on the start of September and since my parent promised a good laptop, I'm looking to get the HP Spectre x360 13-ac002na. I'm looking at this because of the following reasons: Portable decent battery life Looks amazing My first high end CPU And most of all I can get £120 off ($150?) with a student discount. making it £1,279.00 The only thing im not so sure about is that due to the student discount a HP 3 Year Care Pack (pickup & return service) is NOT included as it would be without the discount. What do you guys think? and Does anyone have this exact model or similar? Ty

Hey guys, -I'm choosing new monitors- I'm looking for 1440p 144-hertz 27-inch displays. I'll be using these for gaming development also to game and to do a lot of stuff on Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Unreal. I also watch a lot of media. For now what I've found to be a good deal is the Asus MG278Q. Do you have any opinions, any good competitors with those specs or anyone with that model to give some advice? Anything is appreciated, thanks!

hi linus forum i use google chrome and i sometimes copy paste text and it looks different then the other text i am typing. i can fix it by copy pasting to a notepad file but it there a faster way?

I was wondering what would happen if you just painted your motherboard. Like you just took a can of red spray paint and had a fun time lol. Or your CPU as well. And I don't mean the boring top side. I mean you painted the bottom part. But also, like, still painted the top as well lol

I don't really know how education systems work in other countries but here in the Philippines, we have a really weird one. I'm an upcoming Grade 11 Student and I want to be a Game Developer someday. I am interested in directing and producing games in the future but I also think that coding and programming is REALLY cool. STEM (Science,Technology,Engineering,Mathematics) or ICT (Information and Communications Technology) STEM is more of a preparation for college. ICT is for starting an early career. Please help me. Thanks. PS: If you also got a college course recommendation, please post it also. PS: I'm not gonna make this as a basis for my decision, I just really need opinions from professionals. Hey i am searching for a solution to my very special problem. I want a Laptop, which has a great battery life and is light and is portable + it would be awesome to have a convertable (so I could write on it like on real paper), so that I can use it during my mechanical engineering study. But I also would like it to have good gaming performance. 1. The first solution would be to get 2 systems, one for gaming and one for productivity, but I dont like to have a Laptop and a Desktop at the same time. I am kind of weird, but I'd like to have one system to rule them all 2. The secound solution is to get a Laptop with a good cpu and usb-c/thunderbolt 3 support (x4 for best experience). But I didn't found any laptops that fullfill my needs entirely perfect. One option is the razorblade stealth, but I think it is not so good in the price to performance perspective (or is it?). Another option is the dell xps lineup (there is also a convertable, which would be neat), but they dont feature 4 lanes of pcie 3. (Or a Macbook, with Windows, but I think this would be too expancive) Could you help me solve my misery and give me some advice on what to do? (Rigth now I have a gaming rig and a laptop (which isn't that good)) (Sry for bad english. I am from germany)

I am in the process of converting a bunch of old video camera tapes to digital format. VHS -> DV file -> m4v -> ??? I have no problem storing the files locally, and I will do that as a backup to wherever else I put my files. Ideally, I would like to store them in a way that is more accessible, shareable, and searchable. My goal is to have clips from the videos prepared with keywords that would ultimately lead to finding a desired event or clip in the archive. I would also like to be able to access it from the internet and share it in a way so that other family members can search and find clips in the archive. I first thought about about using YouTube. It has search and keyword tagging, but I really don't want to make all my videos public. If the videos are made private or unlisted, people can't use the search function. I maybe thought about using Vimeo or another service like that, but I assume I would run into similar road blocks. I know Adobe Lightroom has a cataloging feature but it's not super acccesible for people and I don't want to have to pay for creative cloud. Other thoughts: -iCloud Drive, limitations are accessibility but it's easy to set up, forget and there is an iOS app available with OSX compatible tag search. -Host a file server -??? If anybody has some ideas of how to approach this or if any of you have dealt with this before, some help would be much appreciated. -
I was just at my friends house fixing his car i get in my car to listen to some music and drive back one problem though. I'm constantly fighting with my phones volume. its as if some ghost is holding down the volume down button. Its not stuck and it only does this to media volume not ringer or notification sounds if someone could help me diagnose this problem i would be in your debt P.s It is a Oneplus one. just to let you know

This morning I was gaming, and my computer just suddenly shut down and wouldnt power back on, after some troubleshooting I figured out it was my GPU ? I had a power surge the other day, and I'm assuming another one this morning, should I replace the PSU? Or is there something else I should do? I'm planning to do a rebuild in the near future with the following specs: Ryzen 5 1500X (probably overclocked to 3.7-4GHz) GTX 1080 (Could be a 1060 or 1070 but let's assume worst case scenario) 2x8GB DDR4 RAM (could also be 1x8GB but let's assume worst case scenario) AM4 B350 motherboard I have a Corsair CX550M power supply (the new black and white version from 2015/2017). when i try to plug headphones or speakers ino my pc it doesn't work with the front ports or back ports and my only way to have audio is through the tv i use as a second monitor but is a pain in the ass if i want to do anything else like ps4 ps2 or anything on my tv without loosing all sound on my pc thge only other way to have sound is through my ps4 control :L please help -Xan

Ever since Bluetooth Security Tag appeared on my login screen, it has caused my PC to boot slower (as there is a massive delay between me going from the lock screen and the users showing up). Does anyone know how to get rid of Bluetooth Security Tag? I've Googled, and haven't found anything that works for me yet -
hey there guys, I am having hard time choosing PCs. Before i talk about the PC, i will give 5 points as reference to what condition i am in 1. Budget and Location i would say the $1000 USD level, but since i can't go for PCPP because I am in Indonesia. Also the taxes here also the mining thingy makes 1070 as expensive as 1080 in retail stores.... 2. Aim I will do JavaScript things (not a problem), using premiere pro while opening chrome tabs, and occasionally game at high refresh rate 1440p (for now it is just an ordinary 1080p TV). The heaviest i will probably play is PUBG 3. Display As mentioned in the AIM section, 1440p/75hz>. i want my rig to be ready for that resolution 4. Peripherals Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum for $112, and Logitech G502 /w/ G410 5. Why am I Upgrading? This goes the long discussion. so i currently have a poor man's PC, which apparently contains: Core 2 Duo Pixelview GF9400GT (Graphics Card) 1GB DDR3 (RAM) Asus P5G41T-M LX mATX OEM Case 300W OG PSU I was wondering if i can actually save some bucks by just upgrading my old system with LGA 771 Xeon and a 480 8GB. But will it be sufficient than getting a newer system like these lists? Also is waiting for Zen+ and apparently get X370 board be the perfect way either? Does anyone know how to change the default windows key shotcuts- for example I want to change Ctrl+Shift+Esc not to open task manager but another program I use to manage my tasks.. and for other purposes that wound be very useful.

What is a reason I would want a sound card in my computer? Are they just for HTPC's? Would they serve any useful purpose in gaming? I obviously don't have to have one. I have sound from my motherboard. Thank you.

I have been interested in the world of audio for a while and I wanted to learn about it, and I thought to myself "Where other than a website run by some 'professionals' you saw on YouTube?" so here I am. My main goal is to find a pair of headphones and broaden my knowledge of the audio world, so please feel free to recommend anything whether it be cool facts, or just great headphones and have a good day. What I am interested in knowing right now: What is a DAC? What is the use of an AMP? Anyone know of good headphones for ~$200 USD? Does the song format make a noticeable difference and what format is know for good quality?

I'm with Windows 10, I have 2 1080p monitors (144hz and 60hz), and a GTX 770 now when any video plays anywhere youtube(on any browser HTML5), vlc, mpc, for exactly over 1:30 minutes after I don't touch the pc.. the video starts dropping frames, the GPU spikes and revs up the clocks not doing anything else to fix anything.This has happened only since I installed my second monitor, has anyone had a problem like this before? I've changed around display settings power modes and such but the problem remains the same. Can it be my PSU (it's a 600w bronze Corsair CX600) or is the GPU a problem?
