Hi everyone, I'm facing an issue with my video editing project. When I try to use Color Key to remove a white background from my videos, the project only utilizes the CPU for processing, bypassing the GPU. I've attempted various approaches using different effects and methods, but unfortunately, the results haven't matched the desired outcome that Color Key delivers. Therefore, using Color Key is essential for my workflow. However, whenever I activate the effect, the timeline color indicator shifts from yellow to red, which suggests CPU utilization rather than the GPU. I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have on how to enable GPU acceleration for Color Key. Thanks in advance for your help! - - Exporting Lossless 4k HDR 60fps 1 hour long video: without Color Key, takes only 20-30mins. with Color Key, takes 4-5hrs. - My PC Specs: Ryzen 9 7950x3d RTX 4090 Corsair Dominator Titanium 2x24 7200MHz

I'm not sure if I should post this here, but i saw other people post about things here and they have had help so here I am. Recently my pc has started randomly alt tabbing out of games, and i don't know why. Actually it's not the first time it's happened It's happened before and I reset my pc and it fixed it until about a week ago where it started again. I don't know how to resolve this issue and it's quite annoying as you'd imagine. I don't have much running in the background, mainly logitech hub, razer, steam, and nvidia. that's about it. i've downloaded absolutely nothing since the past few weeks and it's started about a week ago so not sure what could have caused it.| I was on windows 10 and I switched to windows 11 as I thought it may fix the issue, no it did not. Any help? Thanks

Hi all, I'm really lost for ideas to test at this point. Any ideas would be amazing! Overview: Using latest Asus strix laptop (2023, I9 / 4080) as a desktop replacement. The system is set up connected to external Samsung ody8 4k monitor + all peripherals (KB/Mouse/Mic/Headset). The system is set up in performance and or turbo mode, and always plugged into power. **The laptop is configured to only show monitor 2 (external screen). have not changed and or modified any color management programs native to the laptop or Asus issued apps. Issue: randomly the color or visuals on the external monitor go vivid and warm tones are exaggerated. When i grab a test window and drag it to the laptop screen it refreshed the window only* (blinks once) and the color on said window is normal tone again. and vice versa. Temporary fix sometimes: I noticed when i do a clean reinstall of the latest Nvidia drivers, this can sometimes fix this issues for a while. sometimes like today it does nothing but waste time. I've Tried: new HDMI cables, different monitor ports, restarts, driver reinstalls, checked all color management app or locations in widows. I'm really lost to why this happens, I'm sure its a driver issue. but where is it going wrong. and why is a temporary clean install fixing it? I feel like there's a color profile changing somewhere but i cannot seem to find a clear path to or if that location exists. Please tell me I'm not alone here haha. Cheers Daniel.

Hello, I am having trouble running Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and 4. Every time I would run it, it would crash in about 5 minutes with no error code or anything. Ive checked the crash logs for black ops 3 and nothing appears while for black ops 4, I get a "[0130/214608.462:ERROR:gpu_init.cc(523)] Passthrough is not supported, GL is disabled, ANGLE is " I have tried so so many things to try and fix the problem and I'll list them below. This also occurred when I was in windows 10 and I thought switching to windows 11 would fix it but it didn't. Also, on task manager, the CPU or GPU usage doesn't spike or anything, they stay in the 30-50% Exclusions in anti-virus power plan to high-performance running as administrator completely uninstalling graphics drivers reinstalling windows verifying/repairing the files uninstalling and reinstalling launching in safe mode setting priority to real-time/high running Malwarebytes to check for viruses checking windows updates switching to windows 11 There was probably more but I cant list them at the top of my head. This occurs only to these 2 games and every other game is completely fine. I have read so many articles for people with similar issues and solutions but they didn't work for me and this is my last hope ngl. I'll list my computer specs below i9-13900k RTX 4080 OC MSI B760 Gaming Plus G.SKILL Trident Z5 DDR5 6400mhz NZXT Kraken 280 Corsair RM1000x Samsung 990 PRO Series - 2TB Windows 11 forum.mp4

hi all, a bit of a weird predicament here. i had an old ssd that i had replaced because the OS was broken and yesterday i decided as i was cleaning my pc to plug it in to grab some old files and whatnot. i had to unplug it and re plug in the old ssd to get my computer to boot, but it was working and i got my files. i ran malwarebytes to make sure i had no viruses or anything and it came back clean. і left my pc on overnight and fast forward this morning, i decide to restart it and unplug my old drive to wipe later. now my pc won't boot, fans won't spin, no lights on motherboard or gpu. i already tried plugging it in again, clearing cmos (both with motherboard button and with the pins on the motherboard), tried booting with the old ssd plugged in, and then tried again with it unplugged. nothing seems to be working. does anyone have any ideas or insight? thanks! i'll try to answer questions in the comments, and i'll test some solutions when i am home from work Specs in case it helps: Ryzen 7 5800x Aorus b550 Elite mobo 32gb gskill ram 3070ti Boot drive is a 1tb nvme ssd 2tb games drive 4tb games drive and the old ssd is a 500gb sata ssd.

So recently I bought an RODE NT-usb mini, and I plugged it in, and all was working great. A couple days ago though I bought a new cable for it, so I can have better cable management, and after that my mic will barely pick up sound. It sounds normal and clear when I'm just barely touching my mic and talking, but as soon as I get more than 3 or 4 inches away it sounds dead quiet. My headset (Steelseries Arctis 7+) has a microphone, and when using that, everything works fine. I tried going back to the cable that it came with, but the issue persists even with that. I have messed with sound settings, making sure everything is set to max. I've tried various potential solutions that I've found from googling my issue a bunch, but to no avail. A couple days ago though, it started working again, and all was good, but then it went back to not functioning yesterday. Now just today, my headset mic did had the same issue, where it wouldn't pick up noise unless I was right next to it. That didn't last long though, only a couple minutes before it fixed itself. I haven't uninstalled/installed any programs that would be relevant to any of this as far as I'm aware, so I'd really appreciate it if any of y'all have any idea what's up.

I bought an RGB fan hub and a couple more RGB fans for my PC. Do I have to buy a separate fan splitter to power them, or will the RGB Hub power the fans and the lights? My motherboard doesn't have enough headers for the amount of fans I have.

I went through 3 motherboards, and can not seem to get things working. I have two cpus, one new, and one I bought second hand (5700x new) (2300x used) the First motherboard had an earlier bios that is supposed to work with 2300x, but didn't, the second one should have worked with both, but didn't, and the third motherboard (B550 Mini-ITX AORUS) I can't even determine what bios it has, but still works with neither cpu. After testing with the second motherboard, my known working testing gpu seems to have broke, and it is hard to determine if it was a coincidence, considering it is a 1050 ti and right now would be about the end of its expected lifespan. Setup acted different with each motherboard too. fans spun up with with one known working power supply, but pc would keep turning itself on and off with the other. No beep codes, and cpu did not even get warm. cpu heats up, and fans spin up with both power supplies, but still no post, just sits there forever. pc spins up as soon as either power supply is turned on, even though the power switch isn't even attached. no post, tried q-flash-plus-ing the bios but no light came on when pressing the button. Thank you for any help.

Hi there! I got new wireless sony headphones about a month ago, and today they suddenly stopped working, while I was watching a youtube video. I tried the troubleshooting steps which were listed on the sony website, such as trying to charge them, reseting them and so on, but no results. I get no LED output, i even opened them, and all the wires seemed fine and none of them were loose. I tried to contact Sony support, but i couldn't get into their support website, as it states that: "Access was denied". What should I do? Please help.

Hi all, was looking for some advice after my PC stopped sending a monitor signal after cleaning it. Here's all the noteworthy/relevant info: My PC was *very* dusty when cleaning it – I haven't really done a proper clean since I got it a bit less than a decade ago. I cleaned it with compressed air and carefully swept the top of the PSU and the hard drive bay with a dry microfibre cloth, making sure not to touch the motherboard. I didn't disassemble the PC, take off any fans or take out memory or anything, I just dusted it as it was. All the LEDs turn on, all the fans still spin. I got a new GPU a few days ago, a 4070 Super to replace my 1080 Ti. The PC worked fine with it. I've tried both GPUs and neither send a monitor signal. I've also tried cleaning the inside of the PCI-E socket with compressed air since, to make sure there's no dust in there, with no luck. I have also tried another monitor, no luck. I tried reseatting my memory, after spraying compressed air into the memory slots, no luck. None of the EZ Debug LEDs stay on. The CPU one briefly turns on, but turns back off in less than two seconds. I've heard testing if the Caps Lock LED on my keyboard would confirm if it's booting to Windows – the light doesn't turn on, so I assume it doesn't get to windows. It stopped working last night, and still isn't working this morning. I sprayed compressed air through the CPU fan down onto the heatsink. I can't think of why this would affect anything, but thought it was best to mention. No iGPU to test with (R5 3600) Would really appreciate any help anyone could give!

Has anyone here been able to get dp passthrough working through thunderbolt on the X670E Pro Art wifi mobo? I'm at wits end trying different cables and displays but the passthrough just wont work. I have a 3090 and currently have 1 monitor connected through HDMI and 1 through DP . For my 3rd dp port on the 3090 i have the display port cable that came with my mobo connected to the "dp i:n slot in my mobo as seen in the pic below but none of the displays connected through the thunderbolt 1 port or 2 port are working. Am I doing anything wrong? The strange thing is some display shows up in windows when i attach the monitor this way but I'm unable to identify it, change the resolution or chose options such as duplicate or extend. Everything is all greyed out and nothing shows up on NVidia control panel. My thunderbolt control center also shows no device connected I have the thunderbolt drivers installed from ASUS drivers sections and the latest 1807 bios Current things I've tested - 4 different USB-C monitors that work on usb-c and thunderbolt laptops - 3 different tested and working dp cables as passthrough - various USBC, USB4 and thunderbolt certified cables that work on laptops for display and charging on laptops - all dps on the 3090 as passthrough Is there something I'm overlooking?

two days ago while gaming I accidentally tripped a breaker, after flip back the breaker pc turned on and kept gaming fine. Recently I've noticed that the minimize animation of the apps to the right of a point on my taskbar would all minimize to that point instead of where the app is actually located on the taskbar. I'm not sure if this happened after an update or just popped up recently. The last time I updated was on the 13th Dec 2023 to KB5033375, but I don't remember this being an issue. I've tried restarting explorer.exe, my pc, and reinstalling my NVIDIA drivers through DDU (546.33), but none of those have helped. I've also tried switching to another user, and the issue isn't present there. I'm not using any software to alter the functionality of the taskbar, it's all vanilla. The issue is present both when the taskbar is centered and left aligned, it's just that the "point" is different. Is there any way that I can fix this or do I just have to live with it? Here's a video recording of the issue: Windows specifications: Edition Windows 11 Home Version 22H2 Installed on 12/22/2022 OS build 22621.2861 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22681.1000.0

My 1st problem is whenever i turn ON the PC the keyboard doesn't work. It's a RGB keyboard, the lights and toggels key's light are ON with keyboard is not functional. I've to re-plug the keyboard then it works completely fine. My 2nd problem is my keyboard doesn't work on one of the USB port which is next to the PS/2 port on motherboard. I tried to connect the keyboard on other USB ports it works fine, i tried using mouse on the same USB port which is also working fine then why is not the keyboard.

Hey guys, Long story but I recently found that my ASUS Zephyrus M15 laptop has a lot of factory defects that are making it ridiculously hard and expensive to repair. I want to talk to a higher up support tech at ASUS to see if I can get it replaced or repaired quickly, but I keep getting stuck with the low level support that don't really have power to help at all. I've called all morning and can never get past a level 2 "supervisor". Does anyone have experience actually getting to talk to someone that isn't limited to a script, and that can offer me more than a 20% discount on a repair I shouldn't have even had to make? Don't get me wrong, 20% discount is good, but it just sucks that I would still have to play $100+ for a manufacturing error. Thanks!

ASRock B550M-C bifurcation support
PurpleMustang420 posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Hey there, I'm wondering if my ASRock B550M-C supports bifurcation or if there's any way for me to find out if it supports it through the bios or smth, I looked at the spec sheet on ASRock's website but i couldn't find any information on it, I need it specifically for running 4 nvme ssds in a card. Any help would be appreciated -
So I'm completely new to this and need some help. I recently bought NZXT's "Player Three Prime" PC and received it two weeks ago. Yesterday I had an issue with the screen randomly going black. The machine wasn’t under any kind of load and the temps were fine. This happened three times, the first time after a quick search I cleared the CMOS using the little button on the MOBO and it came back on fine for a few hours, the second time I went straight to their customer support and while I was chatting with them it must have restarted itself for maybe a minute or two then it happened again and now nothing. On the motherboard the VGA light was on the NZXT support guys sent me a link with some ways to test it, part of that was taking the GPU out and trying to get a display through the MOBO and when I did that the boot light came on. They told me that's usually something to do with the storage drive and at this point it's best I send it back for them to look at. I was told it's covered by their warranty and they’ll send me a prepaid label and everything to send it back. They estimated two weeks. With it being the holidays I want to avoid sending it back to them and am looking to see if there is anything I can do myself to test it further and get them to send a specific part, or even just take the hit and replace it myself. Has anybody else had any experience with this problem or the company? Obviously I've spent a lot of money and I'm completely new to this, is it best just to wait for the label and send it back to them. PLEASE HELP!

So if I'm being honest I don't know what exact component is at fault but I'm assuming its the motherboard. When ever I turn on my PC it runs the flash codes on the mother board but gets stuck on B7 for quite awhile; 5-10 minutes. Then either one or two things happen; it either boots up and all is well or it turns off and the only thing glowing is the RAM sticks. I tried replacing the RAM and it still happened.
