My case is super empty and I don't like it. I plan on getting a smaller form factor case at some point, but in the meantime, is there anything I can put in my cases dead space to liven it up? I've seen people put Pops in them, but I don't know if those can stay in there, or if they're just got photos. Basically, is there anything that will mess up my PC if I put it in my case as decoration? Thanks!

I think Linus beard has gotten to the point where he needs to wear plaid shirts with suspenders and do his show from deep in the north woods. What say you? I don't think you need any pics.

So I am going to be making a new build in a couple of weeks but I dont know what case to use. I want something with tempered glass because the main thing is that this thing has to look sexy af. I also don't know what color theme to go with and whether to use water cooling or not. I know that i am gonna get a 1080, 16gb ram and an i7 of some description. Oh and I need a new desk too :)

Hello, I finished installing my Samsung SSD and needed to do a Secure Erase because of some issues. I was wondering whether I should set the the partion to MBR or GPT? I will be Migrating my current C Partition over to the M.2 drive later. I do not have a product key because this was a laptop and I do not plan on buying or reinstalling a fresh copy of windows without a key.

What I am trying to build is an old build for playing those classic games I played as a kid. Help me for looking for parts. Things I am looking for: 1. Small Case with enough room to fit an old graphics card 2. Best Amd or Intel cpu at the time period of your choice 3. Good motherboard at the time period of your choice 4. Psu (Already have) 5. Best graphics card at the time period of your choice (Something with hdmi if possible, if not then that is fine also) If you can help that would be great, thanks Try to list it in a number form factor as I did above if you could. Names or links would suffice.

I know there's been a lot of feedback on this but I couldn't find a specific thread on it, so I started one. Sorry if I missed a really obvious thread somewhere on the forum. Lately I've noticed that while LTT videos have gotten more professional, there are some videos I haven't found them as interesting as previous similar videos. TBH I like that LMG has grown and can create more professional videos so this is not an overt criticism of the change in direction, instead I just want to see how people feel about what I think has been the biggest change. So I was going through some old LTT videos and I realized what I think was missing in some of the newer videos, it's LINUS and/or LUKE. In a lot of the videos we get Linus' on-the-spot reaction to hardware/product as he experiences it, but in some of the newer videos that aspect is either reduced or all we get is a professional voice over. I've been following LTT from when it was run out of Linus' garage and I do it for Linus/Luke/Brandon/Taran/etc and their unique on-the-fly impressions on a product not for the more "professional" review style some of the newer videos seem to follow Best recent example I can think of are the videos on the drones (see below) , the one filmed in the warehouse is more enjoyable because we get Linus' reaction as he reviews it instead of the "boring" script reading he does in the second one. Both styles have their uses but I just prefer the on-the-spot feedback when possible and it seems that the more professional style has been used when we could have gotten a more "on-the-spot" style. The professional videos miss the energy and unique personality of the reviewers that could make the videos more enjoyable. Thoughts on this? or am I just the outlier? vs.

So I bought a Dell Optiplex 7010 and I thought I would be able to take the PC case to a hardware store and have the HDD cage removed because it blocks the GPU but apparently it's a big job. So I'm planning on getting a new case and moving all parts into it. The pictures below show the setup at the moment and everything is working fine, but how long would this setup be okay for? Would it be alright for another week until a new case arrives? Thanks in advance.

Long story short, my power splitter partially caught fire, and looks like my fire hazard of a power supply (CX750m) is even more likely to catch fire now. I'm using the PC right now, and it is fine at the desktop, and low loads, but I tried starting up a game, and there was excessive buzzing coming from the PSU that I had never heard before, so I want tor replace it before it takes out the cpu or gpu... I've got braided cables that work with my current PSU, and I was wondering if something like the EVGA G2 series would work with the same cables? If not I would like to know if there are reasonably priced corsair power supplies that would work with it. I'd like to not spend more than $150 CAD if possible.

I am thinking of purchasing either a MCM 5 or MCP 5. However, I have a $180 case budget and really like both cases. If I do purchase the MCP 5, then I would go with Noctua fans due to the fact that I have budget room to spend. I am siding more toward the MCP 5 with Noctua fans. My CPU is an i7 6700K, and I do plan to overclock. I would like overall great cooling and am in a bit of a jam between deciding between both of these choices. Please let me know any suggestions. - Thanks, Alex MasterCase Maker 5- Current Price $172.43 - https://www.amazon.com/MasterCase-Mid-Tower-FreeForm-Upgraded-Supression/dp/B01ER4898Y MasterCase Pro 5- Current Price $129.99 - https://www.amazon.com/MasterCase-Mid-Tower-FreeForm-Modular-Watercooling/dp/B013AY4V4S/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1469239838&sr=1-2&keywords=MasterCase+Maker+5 Noctua 120mm Fans- Current Price $19.88 - https://www.amazon.com/Anti-Stall-Bearing-PWM-Cooling-NF-S12A/dp/B00BEZZBFO

Hi evedryone, I plan on upgrading my gpu in the near future and I pretty much made my choice with a crossfire of rx 480's, unless the rx490 turns out to be something else than just a dual 480 on a single card. I really like the newly announced Asus Rog Strix rx480 (same cooler than the 1080/1070) but I fear that the open design of its cooler could be a problem with crossfire. I have a be quiet silent base 800 with 3 140's be quiet silent wings 2, two of them as intake and the third as exhaust, as well as a 120mm silent wings 2 Also, would my corsair rm750i psu be enough for a dual gpu setup? Thanks for your help

I want to know your opinions on some clothing-related questions... Question 1. Are sweatpants/jogger pants acceptable and would you wear them in public? Question 2. Is wearing a dress jacket and dress shoes (to school) too much? Question 3. Why do you think teens and Youngsters wear the same clothes compared to each other? Question 4. Do you prefer brand clothing or do you choose your clothes by how it looks?

I am looking for a cheap (less than £60) HTPC style case or any horizontal case that supports 120mm fans, a full size atx motherboard, a stock cooler, an EVGA mini GTX960, one optical drive, one 3.5 inch HDD and a 2.5 inch SSD. Any ideas's?

Hey all, just a quick question. I'm getting the Moto X Pure, and it comes with a 25w charger in the box. Now, I always want to have a secondary charger, so I went looking to get an extra one. Apparently, Motorola only has the 15w charger for sale, and the 25w is not sold anywhere. The question is, will it be ok to get the 15w one as my secondary, or should i wait for the 25w to be released? Will the charger(15w) or phone get damaged if I use them together? Thanks in advance!

Hey there, So, I'm in the process of completely upgrading my system. And I mean completely because, right now my pc's is basically wreckless.I'm talking dual core processor with 1.3ghz intel motherboard and 2GB DDR2 RAM and Nvidia GT 9600. So, basically the point of an absolutely new machine would be for me to find the most elegant, performance active and a real power saver and a real BEAST as well.I'm talking 4.1 ghz asus motherboard with 16GB DDR3 RAM. and nvidia GTX 970 and improvements in power supply cooling and all those So, Lets start off with the monitor... Now, I was hoping that I could get an LED 24 inches or more. with built in speakers so i don't need an extra 2.1 or 5.1 speaker sets with woofers and subwoofers so. built in speaker would be absolutely amazing. Now here's what I've found so far: 1). Can't decide whether I should go for displayport or HDMI. because most monitors come with the HDMI sockets instead of the display port. So, let me know on that and. 2). 60.96cm(24) FHD monitor with the Touch of Color - S24D390HL - now that's a machine i was hoping for. but wanted to know about the performance and if you guys suggest me anything newer or better than this one right here and the benefits and well basically as much true info as i can get. OH and to be fair at this, I'm currently at india, so as you can understand available products would be greatful.! but international products welcome too. I could manage to import them you know. What do you guys think I should do? Suggestions always welcome. and of course you could be a little sarcastic as well as long as you keep it separate from the actual answer in the reply so i dont be all sheldon cooper like and jumble both items and end up with a cataclysm. Thanks guys your the best.~!

After 5 years of using laptops only I decided to build my own computer again. The last few I built were kinda like: Get the best for the cheapest price, no matter the looks or quality. This time however my mind went a little crazy and I wanted to do something special. I will use this one for gaming (Witcher 3, GTA V, Space Citizen if it'll ever be released), writing/office (A LOT, I'm studying translations), watching movies, and (from time to time) doing 3D animations/video editing (importance in this order). As I was using ONLY laptops for such a long time, I have neither a keyboard nor a monitor so I also need suggestions for those parts (I do have a neat mouse though). As much as I'd like to have the Corsair Vengeance K70, I am pretty sure that it will be to pricey but I'm sticking with the idea of a mechanical keyboard. Unfortunately I care a lot about the looks of my system this time so it will be hard for me to stay in my price range. This is what I came up with on my own so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8RY2GX I am aware that the new Radeon GPUs are right around the corner (or even overdue) and I will consider waiting for those to look if they offer a better alternative (or maybe lead to a price drop of current GPUs). Also please bear in mind that I'm from Germany and that prices between the US and Europe vary a lot (I'm particularly jealous that graphics cards and power supplies are WAY cheaper in the US). My general color theme is black/red and maybe you can see it from the parts I picked: I am a sucker for brushed aluminum. I am also aware that 1080p on a 27 inch monitor is not perfect. However, I really want to have 27 inch but I don't want to spend another 100 bucks on the monitor. As I'm going to overclock the system (for the first time ever) I have no idea how much power I'll need but I am pretty sure that the Corsair 550 should be enough. To top off this impossible project it should be as quiet as possible. The reviews I can find online are not really helpful if it comes to the noise aspect. I also lack speakers but I'll tackle that problem later. Please let me know your thoughts!

Through the MSI Afterburner properties you can open On-Screen Display. Under MORE it takes you to RivaTuner Statistics Server. From the RTSS you can change font size, color and coordinates on screen on the right menu. What I'm wondering is if there's a way to change the font of the On-Screen Display. In this tutorial you see someone setting up Afterbruner and HWiNFO which appear to do about the same thing and can be used simultaneously if you wanted to. The yellow font isn't the default font and I don't see where to change it. What am I overlooking? I don't believe Totalbiscuit's Dying Light Port Report is using the default font either, so how and where do you change it to Comic Sans or whatever other options there are?
