Budget (including currency): Around 800 euro, must stay within 900 euro Country: The Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming. On my current PC which i got from my uncle I can only run games like Football Manager and Rocket league on really low settings (barely playable), and I would like being able to play titles like Call of Duty, Civ 6 or racing games and such (no real specifics). Besides gaming it will mostly be used for uni work, but that shouldn't be a problem. Other details: I don't have any existing parts except for two HP Compaq LA2306x monitors which I will replace at a later date. My intention is to be able to play on relatively high settings 1080p. As I said in the title I'm completely lost and am just going for relatively cheap options with a good amount of reviews. I decided that I want to buy new parts as I just don't trust myself with buying used parts at this moment. Any advice on what I should look out for with different parts or any alternitives are really welcome, I can't oversee what I should be looking out for. I'm mainly confused when comparing motherboards, memory sticks and power supplies. Also I can't seem to find a case that I like for the price, I don't care how it looks but I just don't want anything to overheat so I thought going for included fans would be the best idea. As I said any tips would be welcome, but please add why an alternitive would be better as I'm also looking to learn from this. https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/LJHK89 CPU - AMD Ryzen 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor (€165) Motherboard - Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 ATX AM4 Motherboard (€130) Memory - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (€36) Storage - Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (€65) GPU - MSI MECH 2X OC Radeon RX 6650 XT 8 GB Video Card (€272) Case - Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case (€75) Power Supply - Corsair CV650 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (€75)

Hey, next year I should be going to university and I'll need a laptop for that. I intend on studying AI or Software engeneering (not fully decided yet). I know, that next year is far away, but due to the ongoing chip shortage, I'm already looking out for a good deal, and having no time preasure helps a lot. My buget is about max 15 000 CZK (666 USD, 590 EUR) but I'd more like to pay in the 13 000 CZK (580 USD, 510 EUR) neighborhood. I was thinking of getting a touch screen (I don't have one currently), but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Otherwise my only somewhat requirement is full size arrow keys (I know, that sounds stupid, it is, but I just can't get over having two arrow keys in one key slot), altho I'd probably get used to it after a few months. I know, a year (more like 9 months) is a long time, so I don't expect specific laptops. More like tips what to look out for and where it's better to compromise. I'll be thankfull for any help.

So i'm planning to continue my studies in Canada, my home country is part of ASEAN (saw some specific scholarships, so this may help) For TL:DR read the bolded text. I have done some 'research' and i'm going to send an email to the Canadian Embassy for my country, and i also decided to ask here because LTT is a Canadian company I figured there may be experienced people here. I'm currently studying in a 4 year Vocational school ( got about 1 year left), it's a Vocational High School for Chemical Analysis how i got here (and why i'm not gonna apply for jobs) is another story, i'm still trying to know which of the studies i should take, and chemistry might not be one of them as i am more adept at physical work, which helped with some specific laboratory techniques but the one thing i'm quite fond of this school is the Microbiology (Analytical instruments are a close 2nd but still, chemicals though). The biggest reason I decided to post in a forum is to read other people's experience, not just hear the ones that made a Youtube vid. You could be a local who was involved in some way or you could be the one experiencing it. Is there an online resource that is dedicated to find the available studies of all available universities or educational intitutes, where else should i look what to avoid. (I would like to hear your experiences) I have looked into some of the available resources, and the first idea is i will get a part time job when i get there, as my mother said they (my parents) could fund my study as the cost of studying in Canada was suprisingly not that far from the costs of my brothers studying here ( i have 2 brothers, one of them is still studying). I have tried looking for scholarships, but i or my school doesn't fit their criteria, my grades dropped in year 1 to 2.5 due to personal reasons (mainly unresolved trauma i guess, or dysthymia). It's easier for me to overcome my shotcomings by physically being active, so i probably wouldn't perfrom well with a desk job. I'm close to my 2nd older brother, and he's studying IT so i asked if he would like to continue his studies in Canada aswell (his english is also good), and he said he would after working for a year and the reason i added this is because LMG is a Canadian tech company he has a better chance at a scholarship. (I talked with my mother first cause she is more reasonable to talk to, and an FYI she's not my birth mother, and as i type this that might be the reason she could be more 'true' with her discipline i guess)

hi everybody, I want to study software on university but I have some questions. Is it more beneficial to study abroad or is it in my own country? Are there any other sources you can recommend from these two sources? https://duzce.edu.tr/yonetim-bilisim-sistemleri/Sayfa/93B9/yonetim-bilisim-sistemleri-bolumu-mezunlari-ne-s-yapar/ https://www.aus.edu/sba/department-of-marketing-and-information-systems/minor-in-management-information-systems/

Hi there, I am currently coming up to the half way point of my university degree, I am studying cyber security and currently completing the Cisco networking as part of it. To help with my study when not at home I got an Ipad pro and got a keyboard case from Amazon. But as I go further I am finding I need a desktop environment for some of the programs we are using as they don't work on iOS or Android. So I am looking for some advice on what sort of laptop I should get. I am ideally looking at less than £1000(roughly $1200). The biggest thing for me is being able to use it for the next 5-6 years before I have to even think about upgrading again. Thanks.

I'm looking now to get a new build, since my old one it's pretty outdated, and I was wondering if the rumored new AMD cpus and the Nvidia 3000 series will be in a reasonable price range. My budget will be 1000€ max and I want to get the best that I can even if I have to wait an extra 2/3 months (hoping that the tragic event of covid will not have the price rise drastically).

Hello everyone! So I need a small laptop to study and to do my work on (approx 13 inches). I need to view and store ct scans that take up to 30 GB each and I also need lots of ram for browsing web simultaneously. I am probably going to edit some photos aswell. Type-C connectors are cool, but I don't have anything with Type-C. I would prefer going with a MacBook, but Windows would work too. I wasn't following recent laptop releases so I'm quite lost searching for the best overall laptop for me. Could anyone suggest something?

I've been looking for a while and have finally found two interesting models that suits me. Option 1: ASUS ZenBook Flip 14 UM462DA 14" FHD Radeon Vega 10, Ryzen 7 3700U, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home Option 2: ASUS Zenbook 14 UX434FLC 14" FHD Geforce MX-250, Core i5-10210U, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro It will mostly be used for studying but also for alot of entertainment, creativity and gaming aswell (won't be playing any hardcore games more like terraria and similar). I know Option 2 might be the obvious decision considering the specs. But i really like the features on Option 1 with the flip touch screen etc, so im quite unsure on which one is best for me. I would like to know ya'lls opinion on which one i should choose and why. Life expectancy is pretty important too since i'll be needing the laptop for 6 years from now.

So i'm very interested in studying the new Vulkan API, except I can't find many resources for it. I'm looking for videos, articles, books, anything really. I found a video series on youtube by a user named Niko Kauppi, but honestly didn't find it very helpful and got a little confused in his explanations. I really work best with articles and books then visual stuff to back it up.

I am a student at a community college and our instructor did not give us the ability to print off study guides for our final exam. I have the practice test that is an exact copy (WE WERE ALOUD TO KEEP IT), and I'd like to scan it and create a clean practice test to work on what I got wrong and to know my weaknesses. What program can I use to scan, clean up my pencil markings, and print off these sheets? I don't want to retype everything, that will defeat the purpose of doing it quickly since I have my final exam this coming week on Tuesday. Help me please. I need an A to get into the Nursing Program. Thank you in advance. Nights are my best study time so I can do everything during the day without taking away from studying. I'll post pictures when I get it accomplished.

Hello! I may be asking questions a lot in the forums, (maybe a few every month) and would greatly thank anyone who shares knowledge and links to research and study into. I've currently been looking into security and networking for the past few months and I've been extremely interested into a journey of studying while at ITEC college. Although I love researching into as much as I find and learning, I also like to ask questions (may be stupid ones too! ). I would like to ask if this is okay to ask as many questions on my mind in the forums, maybe it'd be easier to PM people instead of filling up the forums, or asking questions on this topic. I've been looking into some qualifications to further my studies and was told from my college teacher to look at CCENT and furthering onto CCNA. (Also CompTIA Networking, currently looking into CompTIA A+ on Wednesdays with another teacher in the college, although not gaining qualifications, he said he is willing to teach people who are interested). So, I do enjoy reading books, I personally find myself extremely distracted so I like being away from my computer if I try to study for more than 3+ hours. I'd like your opinion on any books/pdfs I can look into and grab on my studies. Any people that are interested in talking and sharing knowledge/answering questions would be a great welcome to PM.

Since test season/craze is about to start for me (one test this weeks, then 3 tests/week for 2 weeks then 2 tests in a week) I've started studying for some of these tests and it got me wondering, what studying methods/techniques do you use/used? I personally like to listen to instrumental while I study and I study like this: 10 minutes of studying, 10 minute break, 20 minutes of studying, 10 minute break, 30 minutes of studying, 10 minute break, 40 minutes of studying, 10 minute break, and so long. To study I read the notes I took in class and my book, then I sum them up and condense them all into a group of written notes, then the day before the test I read them and do exercises/ask questions to myself.

I'm in 9th grade now and I have my first computing test. Everything that we have to know for the test I knew before I started this course and I'm even in the advanced group. Did any of you have similar experiences?

Here's the situation: I'm in my first year of economics engineering (which is a pretty high-level course in University) and last semester I did not do well. My first exam is next saturday and although I studied more than last semester, I feel like it's not enough because I get distracted soooo easy, my breaks usually are way too long and after a break I'm having a hard time getting back to studying. Right now I'm getting about 5 hours a day of actual study time, while I literally try to study all day long. The problem is not that I don't find the subject too hard (I am smart enough for this course, I know this for sure) or not interesting (I really like science, maths and economic/business matters), it's just that I'm an underperformer. If I manage to get at least 10 hours of actual study time these next few days and during my exams (I have 11 exams), I will manage to succeed at most of my exams. So I really need your help :) These exams are really important to me, because if I fail, my parents said I have to drop out of uni and get a job. I don't want to start working yet and all my friends are in my university, so any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Thib
