Subject: PC Shuts Down Unexpectedly When Playing Valorant - Need Help! Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to this community in hopes of finding a solution to a persistent issue I've been experiencing. Whenever I play Valorant on my PC, it suddenly shuts down without warning. This problem only occurs while I'm in the game; my PC works fine with all other applications. Here's what I've tried so far: - Updating my graphics card drivers and other drivers. - Monitoring the CPU/GPU temperatures (they seem normal). - Running a full system virus scan (no issues found). - Checking for Windows updates. - Moved Valorant to a different drive and reinstalled. - I've tested other games like Palworld and also ran Kombustor and Did not experience any crashes or issues. - Updated BIOS (Resulted in stuttering in games. I may have resolved it by disabling FTPM and turning Game Boost to auto in bios) My PC specs are as follows: - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor - GPU: ASUS TUF NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti - Motherboard: MSI B650 Tomahawk - RAM: 32gb 6000mhz - PSU: Deepcool PX850G - Operating System: Windows 10 I've checked the error logs in the Event Viewer, but nothing there points me towards a clear cause. The shutdowns are abrupt and don't lead to a blue screen or any error message; it's as if the power just cuts out. The image below shows the critical message for the restart. Has anyone else faced a similar issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Could it be a problem with the power supply, motherboard, or something else entirely? Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help! Best regards, Adnan

so my backstory was I was benchmarking my pc and apparently my ram wasn’t being used to its full potential, so I tried to run bios by spamming f2. And I got in but my monitor doesn’t display bios so I kept spamming f2 and escape. Now I can’t enter my account because when I try to set up my pin nothing happens. Any help?

I turned on the pc today and felt it really slow, turns out is stuck at 0.8 Ghz. I am researching hard because I use this pc to work so is extremely important. I removed the GPU, I reset the BIOS, updated to the latest BIOS, used the optimal default profile, apply correctly new thermal paste but nothing works. I am sure is not temperatures, at idle temperatures are ok: I use ThrottleStop program and it works (returned to normal speeds) by disabling BD PROCHOT but as soon as I restart windows the problem comes back The 0.8 is also seen in BIOS: What can I do, I can´t work, today I lost the whole day. My pc is: i7 10700k @ 5.05 Ghz Corsair H100i pro XT 240mm MSI z490 tomahawk 16 Gb (2 x 8 GB) Patriot Viper Steel - 4000mhz - 16-16-16-34 MSI 1070TI titanium

So I am trying to compress my documents using 7Zip so I can back them up. I usually encrypt them using AES256 because I don't want the cloud service I am using to scroll through my data when I upload it but I am running into the problem where 7Zips says it at 100% on the progress bar, got 00:00:00 time left but it does not show a completed screen as the speed slowly goes down for around 14MB/s to 7MB/s as shown on the screen shot. I have tried pressing cancel and opening the file but it doesn't work and I have tried changing the format for.7z (ultra) to .zip (fast) to see if that helps but it doesn't. Can you guys think of any solutions? Thanks

I bought an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X in 2020. A few months ago, I bought a Ryzen 7 5700X. I didn't try to replace my old CPU immediately because I had seen a lot of cases where people had their CPU come off with the cooler. So, naturally, I had to remove the previous CPU. . Since buying 3700X in 2020, I haven't changed the thermal paste for 3 years. It had the default paste that comes with the Wraith Prism Cooler. So, when I tried to remove the CPU a few weeks ago, it came off attached to the cooler. I had run 6 hours of stress test before trying to remove the cooler so that the paste would melt a little and be a bit easy to remove, but it didn't work. . I reside in the Asia region. Since, I am not an expert, I went to the official distributor of my region and asked them to detach the cooler from the CPU. Note: They used to be the official distributor of AMD CPU when I bought my 1st Ryzen CPU which was a Ryzen 7 3700X. Currently, they are no longer the official distributor. All CPUs of AMD are imported via third party channel. . After a week or two, they called me and told me that the cooler wasn't coming off from the CPU. If it were attached to the paste only, then applying some force would make it come off, but they suspect that the CPU body has been fused with the heat pipes of the cooler or melted a little and got stuck really hard because of high heat. If they try to apply more force, it might damage the top body of the CPU, and there is a risk of rendering the CPU dead or not working properly after the procedure. They asked me for my permission to try. I told them I would let them know. . Is there any way you would recommend that would detach the cooler without damaging the CPU? I don’t care about the wraith prism cooler. If they have to cut pipes in order to free it, I am cool with that too. But would it work? That is the question. Or would any method work? What do you recommend? Please let me know. . I am attaching a link to a few pictures. In those, you'll see some bent pins. It happened during the removal process. They told me that bent pins wouldn't be an issue and that they would be able to fix those. The main problem is detaching the cooler from the CPU.

My new HP laptop keeps rebooting into the HP diagnostics tool (f2) without ever pressing the f2 key, after hard shutdown by pressing the power button and smashing the escape button sometimes gets me into the startup menu from here I can select the boot menu, and boot to windows no problems. How do I stop my laptop from going into the diagnostics tool on every reboot?

when i see my bios splash screen kinda sit there for a few seconds, i press the delete key or the f2 key to make sure that we're stuck and if nothing happens, then thats how i know, and after that, i press the reset button and consistently, my pc has booted properly every time after the reset. i suspect this is a gpu issue or has something to do with the order in which my drives turn on, but i'm not sure. perssonally i don't think this is a huge issue but if there's an easy fix then i'll do my best if there is a solution. attached are my pc specs if it helps

Found this Solution for a weird Problem, so thought i would share by making a trouble shoot post so any unlucky friends can find this solution Computer says Bitlocker isn't on/Used Space Only Encrypted But it is active -Solution 1. Check status Open CMD/ Type: manage-bde -status 2. If says “ Decrypted “ or “ Used Space Only Encrypted “ but Bitlocker is enabled / blocking you from doing something to get it off…. Take these next steps……. 1. If it think bit locker is off, then enable it Control Panel/ System and Security/ BitLocker Drive Encryption/ Turn Bitlocker On/ ( Restart computer normally ) 2. Get the Bit locker key by repeating step 1 to get to the Bitlocker Menu in control panel Click Backup BitLocker Key/ Print or Save PDF/ Write down the Recovery Key ( Only Numbers No Letters ) 3. Boot Windows into Recovery Mode Hold Shift when click Restart 4. Once loaded follow goto Troubleshoot/ Command Prompt 5. Enter Recovery key when asked 6. Enter Command to Decrypt Enter: Manage-bde -off C: ( or whichever drive letter it is thats encrypted ) Notes: To check on Progress type manage-bde -status until encryption status is at 0.00% Then close CMD with the red X in top right and continue to boot into windows normally

I, i have a OMEN 15-ek1093nf laptop, and soon I'm gonna add a second ssd with more storage, because the current one i have is only 500G, and while looking around and try to practice a bit with my current ssd, in the picture below you can see my ssd is stuck to the copper, and i don't want to pull on it in fear of damaging the ssd. I've put it back in and it works fine, but I'd like to ask if i should try to seperate it or leave it stuck together. (I bought this laptop as my first pc a year ago so a I'm not very familiar with that stuff)

CPU: Ryzen 3700x MB: B450 TOMAHAWK MAX RAM: (title) So yeah recently I installed my new aio (NZXT kraken x53) and I thought okay maybe with my cpu being cooler I can do some over clocking. Then what had started happening was I tried booting after aio installation and the led on my mobo lit up to the RAM section and long story short, i had to take out and put in the ram specifically to boot back up and then stick back in and it was just a mess. Main point is that I tried turning on XMP on and tried both profiles but every reboot still had seemed to make it stuck at 2133mhz. Tried using CPU-Z and the others recommended in other threads but going back to the whole taking out ram part, 2 and 4 channel would work for XMP but crashed my apps like titanfall 2 or others. Any advice/suggestions would be cool thanks.

Hello, I have a laptop SATELLITE A350-122 , it’s really old , but it was working very well.. Few weeks ago, its behaviour changed suddenly to become really worst and instable as following: When i press power button , it turns-on and all leds lights correctly (HDD led, Power-On led, Wifi led), but here is different behaviours and steps i did/encountred while booting: First I have to mention that all this post steps are tested without laptop battery, it’s only tested with charger because my battery life ended. Sometimes, the screen is fully black (means: like there is no current on the display/monitor) but the laptop fans works well, also its leds turns on, and hdd works, i can hear its little noise, but it stucks there, i mean there is no thing to display. Sometimes screen/monitor lights, but without displaying any thing, no text, no boot screen no thing (means it’s not fully black as step 2), and also it stucks there. When i restart pc by holding its power button for several seconds, then press it again, it started, but one of the previous behaviour is encountred another and another times without any boot screen neither displaying anything. I let my pc off for several minutes (between 15 and 20 minutes) without turning it on.. But after these minutes, i turned it on, the monitor turns on and in that step there is two random possibilities i could encounter along testing times: Sometimes it boot and access into windows correctly and works normally without any problem. Sometimes it stuck after booting into windows and all keyboard & mouse stucks. Sometimes it stuck before booting into windows (after displaying Bios & configuration texts like “press F2 to bios” etc). When i encounter the previous stucking steps, i try to restart again my laptop, but in that case i return to the first two steps (randomly stucked black screen step 2 or step 3). To analyse my problem, here is steps i did: Removed two RAM’s from its slots, and plug the first one RAM into its slot and turn-on power (but no changes). Removed two RAM’s from its slots, and plug the second one RAM into its slot and turn-on power (but no changes). I swapped RAM’s from their places/slots (no changes). I re-tested step 1 & 2 with swapped places/slots (also no changes). I removed HDD and turn-on (no changes). I harded reset my laptop with long-press power button (~15 secondes), and turn-on it again (no changes too ). Finally, i plugged my HDMI desktop monitor cable to check if it’s a display issue, but no changes too, the problem of the random behaviours still the same as on the laptop monitor. I really did not understand what can make these behaviour, and i’m stuck to define which part is causing this problem. I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance

My GPU is stuck at 8200GHz Memory Clock please help! Sorry I wrote a lot, I just want to give a detailed inormation about this situation. Recently I overclocked my CPU, and with that my GPU too, because I needed some plus FPS to my new monitor (gaming on 2K instead of 1080p). I overclocked my CPU from 3,8GHz to 4,8GHz with +1,250V with XMP enabled to run my RAMs on 2666MHz. I did some stress tests then the next day I overclocked my GPU too. At first I got some impressive results than it fell back down the next day with the same OC profile. I was confused so I checked on my GPU Tweak software (I used MSI afterburner for oc, but i like the monitoring of the asus software). Here I saw that my memory clock is running at 9028MHz and my GPU clock at 1100MHz at idle, and my temperate was 54 Celsius while nothing was running. These are my gaming temperates so I was confused. I gave it 20% fan speed so it went down to around 30 but this isnt normal. I switched back to a basic gaming profile which is included but my memory clock only dropped down to 8208MHz, and stayed there. I switched my power profile in Nvidia Controlpanel to adaptive, updated my GPU drivers, fully uninstalled MSI Afterburner, turned off shadow play in Geforce Experience, turned off G-sync, lowered the refreshrate to 144 from 240 but it stays the same no matter what I do. Then I read that its completly normal, because my RAMs are running at 2666MHz and guad pumped. Im not sure what that means, or if this is the case because 4 * 2666 is not 8208 nor 9028. (Or Im just a complete idiot at this point and dont know what Im doing lol) I included some pics to help investigate this. My setup is: Intel core i5-7600K CPU 3,8GHz Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB using 511,23 driver 16Gb 2666MHz RAMs (using 4 slots) Monitor 2560 x 1440 240Hz G-sync

Hi to everyone, Recently I've upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 (I know it's not optimal), and I have a strange issue with the window management of Windows 11. I explain it : when I minimize to tray an application (e.g. clicking the X on Discord's window), somehow Windows manage to either create an image of the application which won't disappear, or the location of the minimized window will be covered black or white (see attachments before and after minimizing to tray). Has anyone encountered this issue ? Is it a known issue ? and can someone bring me a fix for it ? Thanks in advance.

Only 13GB Out Of 16GB Of My Memory Is Usable?!?!?!
Newfie Meltdown posted a topic in Troubleshooting
So a little while ago, I was looking at task manager to check out how my CPU was doing with some mods in some games, and I noticed that some of my ram is being reserved by hardware. But the thing is, it only used to say 94MB hardware reserved and it still left me about 15.9GB which was completely fine, but now it states that 3 whole Gigabytes are being used which has really REALLY been starting to worry me. I tried looking for answers but it's all either go to "msconfig" with (Win + R) and change your boot settings in advanced options which has NOT worked, or it was because someone had malfunctioning sticks of memory. I know it's not my RAM because I tested it in my friends PC and it worked perfectly, so it's something software related. (At least I hope..) So if anyone is able to reach out to me and help figure out what is going on, it would literally mean the world to me!! By the way incase anyone is wondering what memory I'm using, it's G-Skill Trident Z RGB in dual channel. :P
