Hi! I am looking for some new RGB strips for my PC. They must light up the inside of my PC, be able to be controlled by Aura Sync/Armory Crate, and not have to much RGB hotspots. I was looking at the Phanteks NEON strips, but they don't seem to light up the PC enough. I have also tried some Corsair ones, but they have to many RGB hotspots(and I hate iCUE) Thanks for any help!

I am planning my first ever PC build right, and I have chosen all the components but the LED strips I want in there. I am seeing a lot that say ASUS Aura compatible, but I do not have one of those motherboards. Can anyone recommend some good LED strips to use with my Gigabyte Z270 Ultra, it uses Gigabyte's RGB Fusion, rather than ASUS Aura. I need strips that can do 16.8 million colours, to match those built into the motherboard, and uses a RGBW connector (although I guess I can get an adaptor to make most strips work with this). It also need to be quite cheap, no more than £20 really. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I am completely stuck right now

I figure this is the right section of the forum for this kind of post. I'd like to add LED lighting to my desk. I'm not sure where or what are the best LED strips (in terms of quality:price:features ratio) for doing this. I don't intend to put them inside my PC. Just on the backside of my desk and maybe behind my monitor. Thanks for suggestions. I found this: https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/top-emitting/outdoor-led-light-strips-weatherproof-led-tape-light-with-18-smds-per-ft-3-chip-smd-led-5050/1622/ Which they look pretty good. Just checking if there are others I should know about. But these look good as well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QAX8YPY

Hi, I want am going to build a computer in the Phanteks Eclipse p400S and want to get the Phanteks LED strips that can connect to the case since it has strips on the front of the case. I was wondering, how much LED strip do I need just to cover the sides, top and bottom of the case?

I am thinking of getting aftermarket RGB strips for my case and desk. So, just wondering. If the RGB header on the AUS Z270 motherboards work with addressable/digital RGB strips. as in, if I go on the 'rainbow mode' will each individual led be a different colour? Or do i have to go out and spend an extra £20 for a strip that is 3x shorter and has its own controller and software? This is the kit im getting: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5M-Dream-Color-6803-IC-Chip-5050-RGB-LED-Strip-133-Effects-RF-Controller-New-/401115204488?hash=item5d64544b88:g:kTYAAOSwRgJXluFF Before you say: 'that is way too long.' I'm going to use this one strip for my desk and pc, it has 2 connections on either side. i just need to cut it to length.

I'm designing a custom case, and want to trick it out with a whole host of RGB components. Long time builder, but this is my first time doing custom RGB coordination in a custom case. My RGB components: 7 EKWB Vardar RGB fans, 120mm EKWB RGB monoblock (Intel) EKWB RGB video card block (RTX 2080 ti) RGB strip for external case features (36") RGB strip for the midplate (16") RGB strips for the inside of the case (2x 16") RGB SSD covers (x3) RGB video card backplate cover Asus Z370i mITX motherboard G.Skill TridentZ RGB RAM (x2) I have no idea what to select for RGB hub(s)/controller(s). I would prefer if I could run everything from inside Windows with a single interface, but realize this might not be possible. I also realize there might not be a hub/controller capable of handling everything all at once. I'm open to suggestions, I would really love to make this work.

Does anyone know what I can do with my led strips? What I’m trying to do is join two led strips together but I’m unsure what I have to do. (soldering, is there something I can buy to join them together, tape?) https://imgur.com/a/WVeOZXm

So my RGB lights i bought are have a pin order of + G R B, and so are the headers of my ROG Strix x370 motherboard, but when i line up the pins(arrow to arrow) the only color that works correctly is blue! Idk why this happens...I paid $1300 for this build and it's bothering the crap out of me!

I have a couple of Questions relating to Corsairs Commander Pro and there RGB Fans and strips. I am building in a Meshify C with the H115i Pro liquid cooler. I plan on buying 2x140mm, and 3x120 fans, plus the LED strips. 1. What Corsair RGB fan looks better? the HD series fans, Or the LL series? 2. Do I need the lighting Node Pro for all of the RGB stuff? Or will the commander be sufficient? 3. Is there Enough ports on the Asus ROG strix Z370-E motherboard or should I Buy a USB hub?

Hello friends, I'm looking to add a couple LED strips to my case, and I was hoping if I could get some help on compatibility. I have a corsair keyboard, and was wondering if the phanteks strips would be able to be controlled by the same software. If not, what should I be looking to buy? https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-PH-LEDKT_COMBO-Strip-Combo-Retail/dp/B01HUFMIZ2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1521682045&sr=8-6&keywords=rgb+strips https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qdhQ7W

Hello i am in a hell of hurt with lighting in my system. System specs: Asus Strix z370-f Msi GTX 1080 TI Twin Froze Corsair GT 110i G.Skill Tridentz RGB NZXT Hue+ NZXT AER x3 NZXT RGB Strips x2 The question is can i sync all this lights ? I dont have the cable for the strips that go in to the Hue+ , they are connected to the motherboard. So far i only synced the ram and motherboard. The strips are acting weird , only half of the lights are lighting up and are totally random.

Hi all, I am trying to use my computer, like aura sync to control my rooms and desk rgb. So i can do one of two things: 1. Use a spare 12v 4pin header and feed that to a rgb amp then to the rgb strips 2. Or, what id prefer to do is use a 3pin drgb header to go to a splitter then the strips But i cant find any good argb or 12v strips that are cheap, or a 5v ARB amp If you guys know any, pls tell me. Or a easier way, ideallry i dont want to spend more than 70aud

Hi, I'm looking to get some UV led strips for my new white gaming rig to make it stand out and need something cheap that will last a while. Any ideas?
-
I'm getting a new case, the Corsair Spec-02 and I want some cheap LED strips to go in it. I want the color to be red, so it matches that case, and I don't want anything like the NZXT Hue+. For my purposes, it's too expensive and not necessary. I really don't want to spend more than $30 on these. Also, if someone could recommend some cheap, red LED, 120mm case fans, that would be great too.

CableMod’s new WideBeam LED strips are pretty darn cool - I feel like they’re best explained through CableMod’s own words below: “Utilizing a unique transparent LED housing, CableMod WideBeam LED’s deliver a much wider beam angle – over 50% greater than traditional LEDs. Bright and vibrant with a much more even lighting effect, WideBeam LEDs look different because they are different. With the number of different case materials out there, we didn’t think one solution would fit all. CableMod WideBeam LED Strips come in both magnetic and foam adhesive to suit all kinds of cases on the market. The WideBeam Magnetic Series features multiple rare-earth magnets for a secure fit, and can be easily repositioned or moved to alternate builds. Those with aluminum or non-magnetic cases can choose the WideBeam Foam Series for a foam adhesive that is over 200% stronger than typical LED strips.” In short, these are freaking cool RGB LED strips that are fully chainable, utilize SATA power, and are designed to work with ASUS AURA for perfect compatibility with ASUS motherboards that feature an RGB header. Full information: http://bit.ly/240bLHP So, now that we know how cool they are, where can we get them? Fantastic question! And for 5 lucky forum users, the answer is right here! How do you enter this giveaway? 1. Comment below letting us know WHY CableMod should provide you with their new WideBeam LED strips. Give a brief explanation of your current (or future build) with pics and/or a PCPartPicker list. 2. Mention in your comment which LED strips you’d like (foam adhesive or magnetic) and in what quantity (be reasonable - any ridiculous requests like “I need 100 LED strips because lights” will be ignored). 3. Check back on the forum in one week to see if you were selected as a winner! This is a worldwide giveaway with no age restrictions. All fulfillment will be handled by Performance PCs - you can check CableMod out on their site now at http://bit.ly/1KeOuv5 The 5 (five) winners will be drawn on 2/19, 2016, and will be PMed here on the forum from this account. Disregard any other contact specifying that you were a winner in this giveaway. Thanks and good luck!

After watching Linus' video about using LED strips I went and bought these strips from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R5O5J46/ref=pe_385040_128020140_TE_3p_dp_2 They make my system look amazing but what I feel slightly bad about was I should have done some researching and ask how long they will last. Does anyone know anything about ATTYOU and what their quality is like? These are 5v USB strips, so do you think they will last a long time to come yet?

Or am I just completely off the mark altogether? I am dead set on getting these LED flex strips, but am not sure how to go about doing this mod. Thanks again!
