I am having a problem opening Spyder or Anaconda Navigator. Anaconda shell still works without a problem. Do you have any suggestions? I already googled a lot, but wasn't able to find anything that works for me. Thanks in advance! UPDATE: Creating a new env with python 3.8.2 allows me to open spyder, but the window stays a white Window and does not respond any more. Downgrading Python to python 3.7.0 (The last version I know of that it worked) results in the same ERROR from the beginning.

I bought a DataColor Spyder5 Express and calibrated all of my monitors and my laptop no problem but I need to calibrate a monitor that won't be connected to a computer regularly. I have a Decimator Dmon-Quad feeding some Acer monitor and I want to calibrate it using a laptop with and trial and error approach. However, since the laptop won't regularly be connected I need to calibrate it with the monitor's built in menus so it applies the color to whatever is plugged into that input. Is this at all possible?

I just bought a Lenovo Legion Y530 and I'm questioning the accuracy of the colours. Is it necessary to buy a colour calibrator like a spyder?

So I found a very exciting deal in my area for a Spyder4TV HD. It was listed for only $40. Never been used and still kept inside the box. Being a video and photo editor, can I use this to calibrate my monitor? Found out a few articles that it COULD be used. But any other insights on this?

Do you guys have a suggestion for a good colorimeter? I've seen some folks recommend the Spyder5Pro and the X-Rite Colormunki Display

has anyone used the spyder and if so what software i have the expres right now. i am using dispcalgui with argyl i see the difference from what it use to be. i just wanna know if its the best free software compared to the spyder software. i also downloaded hcfr which i might test next i just want some opinions and if any tips that be great too

I ask because my knowledge of cars is rudimentary, and I know quite a few people on this forum are into cars. The car has been regularly maintained and the convertable top is not leaking. the person selling it is doing so becuase he is moving away to college soon. The problems with the car are that it has very minor cosmetic damage to the rear fender (some striations in the paint, small crack in headlight casing) and the car is burning oil at higher RPMs. The oil burning problem was partially healed by using higher guage oil. the car will still burn it, but only when pushing it really hard. I'm hopeful that this problem can be solved using one of the rudimentary fixes, like that seafoam stuff or the "Italian hot-fix" I've read about. The person is asking $4,500 for it, which I think is acceptable as long as I won't have to rebuild the engine within the next year. Here are some pictures. Also, the odometer says it has 155K miles on it.

Hi, I have a question about what colour calibration device would suit my needs. Background: I usually calibrate my monitors by eye using test patterns etc. and while it gets my monitors looking good its obviously not going to be colour accurate, that's not a huge issue being I don't do professional art work or anything but I do find as time goes on the slight differences in the screens colours start to bug me and I tend to spend a lot of time tweaking and tweaking so I thought its probably worth while just dropping some cash on a proper calibrator to get the job done right and more easily. I am looking at either the Datacolor Spyder 4 express or Spyder 4 pro, because I have multiple monitors the pro would seem to be the way to go however I don't need the software to hold the colour profile which I assume is the only thing limiting multi monitor use. Question: Does anyone know if it is possible to export the profile on the express version or if Colour Profile Keeper (CPK) will recognise the colour settings and be able to save them because then I could just calibrate each panel one by one and use CPK to hold the profiles on each monitor in turn saving me a chunk of cash by not having to buy the pro version (the other added features I don't think are necessary for me). Or if anyone has any other input as to why the pro would be worth while it would be much appreciated.
