Howdy! Need some help choosing a part. I currently have a single DAC (Schiit Modi), and I'm wanting to split to 4 destinations (2 headphone AMPs, active desktop speakers, and to a receiver). Currently just using a bunch of Y-splits, and it's not pretty, lots of cable bulk, so I want a prettier solution. Ideally it's be purely passive, however I'm concerned with signal loss since I'm splitting to so many destinations (thus looking at a switch). Etsy seller: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1019976067/rca-splitter-box | This is likely what I want, but no idea on the internal connectivity, and no sales/reviews for this seller. TL;DR: Want a RCA 1 to 4 splitter/junction with quality components and no electronics involved (again, I'd go with the Schiit Sys if it had 4 out). Anyone come up with a good solution to this?

Hi folks I have a question about Fan Splitters. It seems to me the common way to make a Y splitter, would be a 4 Pin male to 4 Pin female and 3 Pin female, but I have a set of sleeved cables that have 4 Pin Male and 4 Pin Female x2 (I have a 3 way splitter too thats the same way). My question is, would there be any clash between PWM signals seen as they’re not missing that pin? Has anyone used cables like this? They are Cable Shack branded and cost me quite a bit, I just need to know so i don't wreck anything haha.

Hey everyone, i am in the process of building out a game room and was going to reach out to people to recommend some brands/or items in particular to help! Brief background, my gameroom will have about 7 gaming consoles/media playing devices, and three tvs mounted on the wall. i enjoy gaming but watching movies/cable/sports at the same time. additionally, my girlfriend likes to watch something while i game. right now i am looking for a 1. one 4x4 splitter, - right now i am looking at the monoprice, open to other ideas ( i would like one that is remote controlled to switch frequently and easily between what input goes to what output) 2. two 2x1 splitters- preferably ones that do not plug in and use the power from the hdmi cord( also would like a controller for these, but a button to press would be acceptable) 3. Alot of different lengths HDMI cords - i have three TVS, one is HD, the other are 1080 and smaller. the devices i have running are Xbox, Cable (through my xbox), apple tv, snes, wii, switch, blu ray player, and possibly ps4, havnt decided). looking for a recommended brand, versions or really any thoughts on the matter. i have attached a picture that i made with my wonderful artistic skills on paint to better demonstrate what i am trying to do. any advice on brands or certain products or versions of products would be greatly appreciated!! thank you in advance to any and all help!!

Long time Linus and Crew fan. This is my 2nd pc build and it has been a LONG time... 6 plus years I humbly request some input from you Gurus I'm using the In Win 301 Case that has two filtered inputs in the floor, 2 outputs in the front to the side, and 1 standard output in the back. ----The front fans output to the hidden right side of this chassis and is fairly choked with tight space and an octagonal pattern vent So, I bought a five pack of these fans... There are a few issues I have. I bought a ASUS B250G MOBO with only one chassis fan header. I was planning to use 1 splitter to hook the two intake fans to the chassis header (maybe this is wrong) and use a molex splitter for the other three output fans. Though this would leave them on all the time. The rated amperage of these fans is .21 amps. I have read that most chassis fan headers output between .8 and 1.2 amps. Theoretically, I could then use three and only three fans on the chassis header...but this would mix input and output. Generally, how would you guys or gals hook up your fans? including using the one chassis header, header splitters, and molex splitter/converters, and possibly an internal controller of some sort Also note: this case has no external drive bays for fan controllers I would appreciate any input anyone could provide!!! And yes, I should have gotten a better MOBO (probably) One last note: Its not too late to change some of this build if anyone has some general concerns with my build out...and no, I will not be changing the build to get overclocking. Yes, i know six fans might sound like a lot, but i wanted to have some good airflow in my case. In total, i will have 6 fans: 4 case fans (2 Noctua NF-P14s redux 1200, and 2 Fractal Design Dynamic x2 GP-12) [all of these 4 fans are 3-pin] 2CPU fans (Noctua NF a15 PWM) The total number of fan headers in my motherboard (X570 AORUS ELITE) is 4: 2 SYS_FAN headers, 1 CPU_FAN header and 1 PUMP header I've read online that generally the maximum amperage spread across all of the headers must be below 1 amp or it could damamge the board. The max. input current of every one of the 4 noctua fans is 0.08 amp, while the two FD fans have a 0,18 amp max input current each, so after doing the math, they should all add up to 0,68 amps, so it should be fine right?? I was planning on using Y-splitters to connect the 6 fans to 3 of the headers, leaving out the PUMP header; is this safe? Does having 2 fans connected to a single header make them go at half the speed? P.S. IF POSSIBLE, i would like NOT to purchase a fan controller

Heya! I’ve bought a strix z390-f and it has 4 fan fan headers, seeing as i want more fans, are fan splitters capable of powering rbg fans? Does the splitter work exactly as a normal header on the mobo? If not, any suggestions?

I need someone with landline experience to give me some advice. After Hurricane Flo hit NC (she was a bitch) I ran wire for my church so they could have phone and internet while the offices are being stripped and repaired. I ran two separate wires for internet and phone. Can I use a splitter for two phones to work at the same time or will I have to run another line to another jack? Also, these phones are desk phones with the ability to send the caller to another phone (for example the secretary sending the caller to the music office or the youth office). I have been asked to use a splitter since they have sprayed toxic mold killing chemicals that make you grow an extra arm or something in the main office.

Hi guys so I'm in a pickle here I want to add two more fans to my case but I'm out of mobo headers for case fans. Do I just pick up two splitters so I can add two more fans or do I get a Corsair Commander pro fan hub and just plug all my case fans into that. Any thoughts?

Im wanting to connect a few more fans to my mobo without having to buy a fan header if possible. is it safe to use a 4-pin fan splitter on one header and another 4-pin splitter on another header or would this overload the motherboard. the mobo is an msi z87 g45.

Yes, indeed, TimeSplitters is finally comming back into the ring whith its whacky, creative, arcady first person action. TimeSplitters has always been my #1 for shooters in general, I had played that game for years on my PS2, and never really had a need for any other game because of how fun it was. (Future Perfect being the version I had) It's sad there was never a PC version, but thanfully there's a remake that's gonna be a PC exclusive (And MAYBE comming to PS4) Here's some videos, there's already videos of the levels being made. It will appearently be called TimeSplitters: Rewind, one thing I noticed that will be off is the music (And obviously, visuals) appearently they lost all the files for the music and so they're remaking them, surely they'll still bring back legends such as Like a Monkey, but surely they're gonna use slightly different sounds and such. Anyone else excited? Any hopes/opinions? I hope they'll just keep the gameplay, I believe they confirmed the same old beautiful HUD is comming back. EDIT: Game will also be free IIRC.
