I was wondering if a SATA connector connected to the motherboard this way, maybe we can replace it with a M.2 SATA or M.2 NVMe. If that's not possible and NVMe should be connected directly to the motherboard, is that possible to move my WiFi Card over here (on the place of ODD SATA port)? so that I can connect an NVMe ssd there. Also Speccy says I have 3 PCIe x1 ports available. What are those and how I can utilize them?

Hello everyone. Since I searched for quite a while without any satisfying results, I hope maybe one of you can help me solve or at least detect the problem here. I recently managed to build a new PC with a ryzen 5800x. Everything works quite fine. (Except for the known high-temperature issues with the zen 3 ryzen models....) ' But when I try to monitor my system using Speccy, I get a result of having 16 one core once thread CPUs installed so it is almost impossible to check thermals, clocks and so on. Is there a compatibility issue with the most recent ryzen models and speccy or could I have messed up something? I updated every driver a week ago when I first installed the system. Would be good to know if someone has the same problem as I do. ~

Hi guys, Just upgraded my 1500x to a 3600 and its awesome, however I noticed one thing. Seems that now when I open "Speccy" to view all my system stats such as CPU temp, core clock, voltage etc. I get most info as I did before however can no longer see the CPU temperature? Also noticed that in the RAM section it hardly shows any info now where as before it showed loads of graphs the speed and clocks but now nothing. I have put a screenshot so you can see what I mean? Any idea why this is happening?

So I downloaded speccy to see my temps and so I noticed that my CPU was running at 90 degrees plus. I opened GPU-Z, Quick CPU and my motherboard BIOS and they all displayed my CPU running from 30 to 40 degrees. Is speccy displaying my CPU temps correctly or is it just a bug?

Just put together a system, everything works fine except speccy is showing 111 degrees on motherboard. Is speccy glitching or should I RMA the board? SPECS: GPU: Geforce 760 Ti CPU: I5-7400 MOBO: MSI B250M PRO-VD RAM: 8GB random ddr4

Speccy reports that my cpu is around 35 degrees however speed fan reports that it is around 127 degrees. For some reference this is while idle, my cpu is an i7 6800k with a hyper 212 evo in a mid tower with not great airflow. Also i have recently been having some crashing issues when playing intense games such as pubg or overwatch and my thoughts is that heat is the issue and specifically my cpu overheating.

My motherboard is reading at over 100 degrees as soon as i boot his new build, but i can touch the motherboard anywhere i please and its NOT hot to the touch, are bot programs getting bad data from the same spot? All the components for this build were bought used. Not sure if it's worth mentioning but when I put it all together and booted the fist time the PSU was switched to 230 instead of 115 and the computer shut itself off after I plugged in a USB wifi stick, windows said it was surge protection, so i flipped the switch back to 115 and it hasn't shut down on i's own since

So I've been having the issue with Speccy, after I did the holy trinity of upgrades (16GBs DDR3 to 16GBs DDR4, New ASUS B450M MOBO, and from a FX-6300 to a Ryzen 5 2600), and while I've been using it for a long time, it reads that my temperatures on the Ryzen 5 were in like the 90C° to 96C° but when I pulled up say MSI Afterburner or Ryzen Master it says its at like 30C° or something like that. So I'd like a good alternative for Speccy. I typically only use it when somebody asks for my specs or I'll check my underload temps from time to time, to make sure everything is okay and nothing is running hot.

Hi! Could somebody tell me if I have to multiply x2 the RAM speed given in Speccy? I have an AMD Lenovo Y700 Gaming Laptop with 8GB DDR3 Dual channel RAM at 1600 MHz . Speccy reports it at 798 MHz, though. Is that normal? Thanks! PS: task manager reports the speed as 800mhz. Am I still fine?

Hey everyone! I just built my first ever PC yesterday and I installed Speccy but this is what it looks like. Imgur Link and Link 2. Here is my PCPP list. Everything seems to be working fine except for the RAM section. It detects all 16GB of RAM, but not the actual ram sticks name or anything.

It's time for a speccy thread, post away!

Speccy is an awesome program made by the same dudes that made CCleaner. It spits out every single detail of your machine (Excluding sensitive info), and an awesome tool I love to use. You can also upload a "spreadsheet" of your PC to their servers (it's like a formatted pastebin), and share them with the world; so lets make a speccy thread! 1) Get Speccy [ http://www.piriform.com/speccy ] (It's free, the pro version does NOTHING special) 2) Run it, and after it's done collecting all of your rigs data, go to File -> "Publish Snapshot" 3) Done! Share the link with us and we will see what you guys are running Here is my rig: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/PUBtAWfJChPXS42NJadGgxd The ram settings are a bit off in the bios, but I'm too lazy to fix it. (They run at 1600) Note: I suggest using bit.ly or tinyurl since the link is long! Post your speccy results below! Its nice to see what you guys have, and for you to see what I ( and others ) have so we can help each other!

Windows (And all OSs) detect 2/3GB of RAM, but not Speccy.
VG Docs posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Firstly, here are my specs: Computer (Model Number?): Emachines T6212 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (Yeah, I know, crazy old and huge bottleneck) RAM: I have 3GB DDR RAM Motherboard: MS-7093 (I tried to update the BIOS, but all links that I can find are dead links) Video Card: 9500 GT 1GB GDDR2 PSU: Bestec ATX-300-12E Everything is set at stock settings The Problem: Everything detects my computer as only having 2GB of RAM except Speccy, which detects the full amount (3GB). I have a 64-bit OS, and even if I didn't, I have 4GB of RAM in total anyway (Including VRAM) so it should detect it anyway. I've installed Windows XP, Linux, and Windows 7. Every single time it detects me having 2GB of RAM. Even the task manager only sees my system as having a total of 2GB of RAM. Fixes I've tried: Clean installs of Windows XP, Linux Mint 15, and Windows 7. Making sure the Msconfig Boot.ini setup allowed enough RAM. I looked this up, so I tried it. I unchecked the "Maximum Memory" checkbox (Both in XP and 7) and restarted. Nothing changed. I even tried to increase the maximum memory, but it won't let me go above 2048. I attempted to update the BIOS. I used Driver Booster (Which didn't detect any updates for the BIOS), and I tried to search online, only finding dead links. Change the order of the RAM sticks. Afterwards nothing seemed to change. Additional Info: My system info says I have 2.00 GB of RAM. This might not be useful, but here's a screenshot on my page file size. As mentioned before, task manager only seems to detect 2GB of RAM. All screenshots: Msconfig advanced boot options Page file size Speccy System Info Task Manager -
I wasn't sure where to ask this question so I think I'll go ahead and ask it here. My PC has been getting some BSODs (blue screen of deaths) recently. They appear to happen when playing games in full screen. When they began to become more frequent, it was around the time Watch Dogs launched and it started to become more hot outside, and given that Watch Dogs is terribly optimized for the PC, I never really thought anything of it, as even playing the game on low settings would put my GPU under 100% load and make my GPU temp 84 degrees Celsius. However, I am beginning to think that maybe there is something wrong. The only other time my PC blue screened when not playing Watch Dogs in full screen, it was in the winter (~ 3 months ago) and I was playing BF4 fullscreen on Ultra. However, I had a heater on, and many applications open in the background. So I just thought that maybe it was heat that was the problem. But for 3 solid months of doing the same thing, minus the heater and the applications, I was able to run BF4 Ultra settings no problem. Absolutely no crashes at all. Just yesterday, however, I was playing Halo 2 in full screen, and I got a blue screen. This is when I began to wonder. I tried to discover a pattern. I'm pretty sure all of the times the PC has blue screened while playing Watch Dogs, it was in full screen. And if it wasn't in full screen/borderless, Speccy was open in the background (Speccy may have been open in the background while playing in full screen too so I calt Alt + Tab out of the game to check temps). I am 90% sure every single time my PC has crashed Speccy was open in the background. I have since uninstalled Speccy, and pretty much any other software that could have been triggering these blue screens. I uninstalled AI Suite (Some Asus motherboard software that shows me temps of the motherboard and everything connected to it), Speccy (as stated before), and Samsung Magician (for my SSD). I might be forgetting something and if I do I'll edit this post. I haven't had a blue screen since I have uninstalled all of those programs, but then again, I haven't really played any games since then. I played Halo 2 today for maybe 5 minutes, but that was it. I have ran a Furmark burn in test for ~ 15 minutes. My GPU temp leveled out at 83 degrees Celsius, sometimes reaching 84, but that was the highest. PC never crashed in those 15 minutes. My CPU temp was safe at about 50 - 55 degrees Celsius. I haven't ran any CPU stress tests, but I sincerely doubt that is the issue since all of the times my PC has crashed, I am pretty sure it was because of heat from the GPU and my CPU hasn't gotten that hot. And since it is just starting to get into summer here in east coast US, I'm pretty sure it is heat related. I also ran Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool and it detected no problems. Only thing I haven't done (other than a CPU stress test) is a hard disk error check but it prompts me to dismount the volume because Windows cannot run the error check while it is in use. I don't really want to mess around with dismounting any hard drive because I have my games and files on that HDD. I don't know if it is safe or not or if I'll lose all my data either. Any proposed solutions would be appreciated. I'll also attach a DxDiag .txt file in this post. My specs are in my signature if you need them. Thanks in advance. (And sorry mods/admins, I'm pretty sure I posted the OP in the wrong forum section. I accidentally posted in General Discussion but no one was there to help. I decided to move it here since I'll probably have more luck here. Again, sorry for the double post.) DxDiag.txt DxDiag.txt

Hi there, I'm a little confused about the APU temperature readings on my HTPC. This is the setup: AMD A8-5600K (3.6GHZ + HD7560D) Corsair HYDRO H60 (1 - SP120mm exhaust rear fan, pull configuration) GIGABYTE GA-F2A55M-HD2 4GB Mushkin Enhanced 1600MHz DDR3 WesternDigital SATA2 500GB 2.5" 5400RPM CoolerMaster 500W Extreme Power CoolerMaster N200 (2 - 120mm inTake front fans) Both AMD OverDrive and CoreTemp detect the APU's info... cores, frequencies, loads, etc. Everything but the temperatures. Both Speccy and HWMonitor show the same temperatures, 43°C at idle and 78°C at load. And EasyTune6 shows 25°C at idle and 45°C at load. It might be useful for you to know that the 3 programs show 25°C as the Motherboard/System temperature. So, which are the most accurate or "correct" readings? Tnx!
