Hi, I've been trying to find sleeved/braided power cables for a while now and it seems I'm either bad at searching or out of luck. I want to find a power cable that is: 1. Black, grey or white 2. Sleeved or Braided 3. 3m long 4. has a C13 (female) to TYPE F (male) socket The only place I've found is cablemod and their cables have been out of stock for over a year. Please post link if you've bought somewhere else! https://eustore.cablemod.com/product/cablemod-modmesh-power-cord-2m/ (also only 2 meters) CLARIFICATION ON SOCKET TYPE https://www.arp.nl/webmedias/prb/460x460/5ca5c5092f5ba9014e862db7.jpg

Hello everyone, i'm about to buy some sleeved cables to make my pc look better, but i have a doubt The 2 bitfenix cables look like they are the same color as expected because of being of the same brand, but the silverstone one looks like it is closer to white, when the bitfenix ones look like they're kind of white/yellow... The reason i'm not buying everything from bitfenix or everything from silverstone or any other brand, is because they are the only alternative i can order and get delivered to where i live... any help ? i dont want to buy them and have 1 look different from the other 2. thanks

Hi LTT forum, I recently changed from a bigger Phantek enthoo evolv itx case to an Ncase M1 V5 case. I want to reuse my extension cables which I got but they're male to female so I can't use it with my corsair SF600. Any ideas?

Huge apologies if this is utterly the wrong sort of place to post this... Today I recieved my Cablemod Cabled for my RM650X, custom sleeved through the Cablemod Configurator. I ordered a 24 pin ccable, 8 pin CPU power cable, and 8 pin GPU cable. After opening the packaging, I noticed something immediatley... a few of the cables have large areas of shrink wrap halfway down (which appear to have some sort of resistor in them), some pins don't have any cables going into them whilst some have two, and one end of the cables have a different colour pattern to the other which must mean the cables are crossing over. Also, the packaging they came it does not seem to be what unboxing videos have got - a box. Mine came in a bag... How much of the stuff I have listed here is normal to have with cables from the configurator? I'm sorry if this is a stupid bost, but I spent a lot of money and I am very unsure of what I have recieved. EDIT: The First picture in teh 8 Pin EPS cable is actually the pcie cable, but they are still the same. One end perfect, then the other end has something weird.

I tore my old system apart yesterday to clean out all out the dust balls. I though maybe my 5 year old H60 was end of life as well. Long story short and a $300 trip to Microcenter later, I have a new H100i V2 and a NZXT H440. Now I have a finishing touch problem. The old cabling for my PSU is red and black and it doesn't go with the new white case. The MB always had the blue on it but it was covered up by poor wire management in the old system. So I have a Semi modular EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B. I know I am going to have to do some custom sleeving with the 24 pin but I have plenty of leads on the PSU for Extra Video card leads and CUP 8 Pin leads. Question What is everyone thoughts about buying a cable set just to disassemble for the presleeved cables and swap out the cables one by one? https://cablemod.com/product/cablemod-modflex-sleeved-wires-black-16-inch-4-pack/ This product on the cablemod site made me think of it. I can seem to buy them anywhere.

I have a corsair AX1200 psu from 2012. I would like to replace the cables with the likes of cable mod but it would seem it is somehow special in regards to the 24 pin. There are a bunch of in line caps or some such that make it incompatible with other cable kits. Is it possible to get it from cable mod?

Hi! I'm looking to upgrade my PC with some custom extensions, and have searched high and low for a coupon to get rid of that $20 shipping. Has anyone got a code they can pass along? I would really appreciate it, and if it knocks out the shipping I'll send a few steam keys your way to show I appreciate it. Thank you!!

Hi guys, I'm looking for a cheap way to customize my build and I saw the https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/VF4NnQ/cablemod-individually-sleeved-extension-cables-set-with-combs-1x24-1xeps-1x8-1x6-pin-white Anyone ever used those or heard about those cables ? A complete kit of sleeved cables is around 120$ cnd and these cost about 30$. Thanks P.S I know its extensions cable but the only sleeved parts I really need are the gpu and 24 pin connectors to give my build a nice tidy look.

Don't Know What Colour Cables I Should Go For
Randomizer23 posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
So my PC looks like what it does in the pictures, and ive been wanting to pickup some sleeved cables, but don't know what color to choose. I was thinking black or white but I really don't know. So I wanted to ask you guys what you think would look better. Ill be replacing the cpu cables, 24 pin and the pcie cable. -
Umm so like, I was thinking about trying out custom sleeved cables and I've heard some gud stuff bout CableMod. But I've seen some photos of the cables and they seem to look different depending on the light. I want to know which one of these cable configs would look better irl. if u have photos I would love to see these color patterns in different lighing :3

I'm looking to buy some custom sleeved cables for my PSU, Corsair RM750x and I'm between CableMod's custom sleeved cables and Corsair's one. Which cable set shall I prefer? Shall I go for the Corsair's one as they are the PSU's manufacturer and they also use built in capacitors or CableMod also uses them and there are actually no difference between them? Corsair's sleeved cables are type 4, generation 4, what about CableMod's? Which are a better choice. I also use NZXT H700 case, is there anything I should be aware of regarding cable management and especially for the 24pin ATX cable which might interfere with the metal cover which is included with H700? Kind regards Hopefully @CableMod can help me out directly Thanks in advance

Hi, and welcome to my review of the BitFenix Alchemy cables, from BitFenix, a brand that I had never actually heard of prior to buying these cables, so I had a wide range of expectations when I first read on Amazon about these cables. This was my first time experiencing custom cables - and combs - but I had watched plenty of custom cable guides so I knew what I was doing in terms of how to use cable combs, and most importantly how to correctly use the extensions properly and not just insert them straight into the power supply! I got the 24-pin and 6-pin cables for £8.99 and £6.49 respectively, from Amazon UK. The combs from UpHere I got for £3.99 also on Amazon UK. First off, the 24-pin ATX cable. It's a 45cm custom sleeved cable, that I bought in white obviously to match my build! It was honestly cumbersome to stretch out straight, since in the package, it came bent into a half, so straightening it out was a pain. I did however thankfully buy myself combs on top of the cables, so the combs were my saving grace in my time of OCD need. I was surprised to find the cables and combs were an exact match, but I'm too uneducated on custom cables to know if this is the normality for every custom cable set. It's a nice coincidence since the combs were a huge benefit in getting my 24-pin straightened up and looking fabulous. The cable was extremely hard to bend and I was honestly thinking of taking the easy way out and bending the cable around the watercooling resevoir bar of the NZXT S340, but I wanted my build to look as clean as I could get it, and succeeded using blood, sweat, and tears to get that damn 24-pin cable bent where I want it. Next up was the 6-pin PCIE cable, the second and last cable I ordered. This cable was more of a pleasant experience since it was relatively easy to get a 6-pin cable done up. ... At least, that's what I thought, until this cable also had the same problem as the 24-pin, and refused to bend in the right way. Once again, cable combs to the rescue, and once again, my beautiful vision of a custom cable job was saved. This cable was super easy to set up, simply connect it to the existing 6+2-pin - stock Corsair PSU cable - and insert the extension into the GPU, and then proceed to stuff the rest of the 30cm extension into the PSU shroud because it was honestly the only way. The combs once again saved the aesthetics and now my GPU suddenly looks like a superstar with all that matching white. Closing with some final thoughts, and I have to say immediately that these cables are excruciatingly tought to bend and get straightened up, but thankfully I was smart enough to buy some combs which I will reiterate are a perfect fit and I'm not sure if that's on purpose or if it's a happy accident, but I'll take it! The cables were also so cheap yet they feel so high quality. Both cables were under £10 a piece and they do their job, so I have absolutely no complaints about the pricing of these. My one complaint, as I've mentioned before, is with how rigid the combs are. The cables have a severe case of viagra, they are far too stiff and rigid, and without the help of combs, they would be lost and I would have probably returned these and asked for a refund. The cables overall are a great pick-up, which I honestly bought on impulse due to me wanting some aesthetic upgrades to my build. BitFenix did a great job on these particularly since the price stands out a lot, even if, once again, they take a heavyweight lifter to bend into shape. Would I recommend these? Hell yeah I would, if you want something low-budget but visually empowering for your build.

So I am waiting on my paycheck to come in so I can breakdown and buy individually sleeved psu cables. I am going with white and black. I want to get combs, but I am not sure which I should I go with. Should it be white, black, or transparent combs?

I want to switch out the 24 pin, and the 2x 8 pin cables that run to my mobo and PSU. I saw that Phanteks makes extensions, and they sell a kit with what I'm looking for, but I heard that extensions reduce efficiency due to the longer length in cable (more resistance- but C'mon, how much more in a 500mm cable?), and that would mean that the basement of my case will get pretty messy with the extra length of cables shoved down there (it won't be visible, but I'll know it's there...). I don't want to spend a metric ton of money, the Phanteks cable set is just under 25 euros, and I live in Greece, which means cablemod is out of the question (both for shipping and financial reasons). Can anyone recommend a different set of cables, or should I go with the Phanteks ones? I'm planning on purchasing off of this website: http://www.e-shop.gr/

I've been looking for sleeved cable extensions for some upgrading I'm doing. Right now, I've found a kit from CableMod, but it doesn't include SATA power or data. CableMod also sells SATA data cables, so now I just need some SATA power extensions. I've been doing some searching, but I cannot find anything. I would like them in red. Thanks for the help!

Is there any issues using sleeved PSU Extension Cables? They are much cheaper than individual Sleeved PSU Cables.

I'm considering upgrading to a 1000 watt power supply if I get a second 970 graphics card. However, I wanted a modular power supply that is white and I was also after white cables. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My friend's getting a new pc and he needs it looking good with cablemod. Whats the cheapest power supply thats compatible?

The CableMod Sleeved cable kits have taken the pre-sleeved cable market by storm, competing directly with the Corsair replacement cables as well as the Bitfenix Alchemy extensions. Currently, they are being made only for the Corsair AXi, HXi, and RM series' power supplies for $99, as well as the Seasonic XP2, XP3, KM2 and FL2 series' plus the EVGA G2 and P2 series' for $89. If you read my review of the Corsair RM1000 (link) you would remember that the most love-hate relationship I had was with the included black ribbon-style cables, so I ordered these as a replacement. Cables Included: 1 x 24 Pin ATX Cable (600mm) 2 x 4+4 Pin EPS Cable (700mm) 2 x Dual 6+2 Pin PCI-e Cable (750mm) 4 x 6+2 Pin PCI-e Cable (600mm) 1 x Quad SATA Power Cable (850mm) 1 x Quad SATA Power Cable (700mm) 2 x Dual SATA Power Cable (500mm) 1 x Triple 4-Pin Molex Cable (750mm) 2 x Dual 4-Pin Molex Cable (500mm) 1 x Molex to Floppy Adapter (100mm) Pros: They look absolutely amazing. I have the black and red ones, and they make my system look stunning. A ton of cables, with Molex and SATA cables for every circumstance. The sleeving is very high quality. You cannot see the cable inside the sleeving no matter how hard you try. No visible heatshrink. None. They even beat the Corsair kit in this regard; on the SATA and Molex cables there is a ton of heatshrink visible with Corsair. Cables are plenty long, even the 8 pin CPU cables. Cons: Don't fit well with the E22 Cable Combs. I was disappointed here, but the Combs are designed for a thicker braid.Overall, this kit is absolutely amazing, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Are they worth it? Simple answer: YES. The quality of these cables are unmatched. Think about it, your paying $100 for something that another "professional" cable sleever would charge close to twice that, when you'd probably be getting one of the colors offered by CableMod. How could you turn that down? really happy I made this purchase. EDIT: If you want to see what a complete build looks like with the kit installed, here's mine:

Hi I recently built a PC, which looks great and all, but the stock PSU cables on the Corsair CX600M don't appeal to me. The cause for this may be that my PC has a black and red theme, but the cables for the cpu and gpu are not very fitting. I was wondering which sleeved cables would work with my PSU. I only need the GPU cables and CPU cable because that's all you see, as the 24 pin connector is not modular. Companies like Bitfenix and Icemodz have some nice cables. Corsair also has some cables, but you have to buy full kits, while I only need those two.
