Anyone out there who has 3d printable fan shroud for this card? Preferably 92 or 120mm. I found someone on ebay that sells them but shipping is like $60 to my country. And i cant really find anything compatible on thingiverse, i would design it myself but there is no trial and error here because i don’t have 3d printer myself, so i would send it out to 3d printing company. If someone can help me out, that would be great.

Hello, I have a Corsair 760T and want to make a custom psu cover for it to hide all the cables from the psu and my NZXT Hue+. I would like it to extend all the way to the front of the case just so that it looks clean and not like i just put a box in there all out of place. But I have a 280mm rad in the front intake and dont want the psu cover to interfere with that in any way. I tried searching on google for days for pictures of custom psu covers and could not really find that many for this case. Has anyone on here done something like this before or could chime in with some suggestions? I plan to use acrylic as that is easy to obtain. I will do the build this week(most likely on monday)

Here is my case: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/NTyFf7/nzxt-case-phan002gr I've been looking around for trying to find a PDU shroud. It seems many of the mid towers all have aftermarket shrouds if they don't already come with one. I haven't been able to find one for my case, and I don't really have any fabrication tools to make my own (not the skill required as well). I do have a friend with a 3D printer though. I didn't know if anyone might now a site that does sell them or have a resource that may have a 3D blueprint for it. Wasn't sure if this should go into the modding subforum or not. Please feel free to move if applicable. Thanks again in advance.

Hello, I'm currently working on my build and I was not really liking the fact that I could see my ugly basement cable mess that was coming straight out of the PSU. I have fashioned a makeshift cable shroud out of an old cardboard box (see below), but I would like to make something (or get something made for me) that is more permanent out of metal. The case I'm using is the CaseLabs Mercury S8 and is made out of aluminum and I would like to have the shroud made out of aluminum as well to keep everything consistent. I am going to upgrade to a custom water cooling loop in the future, but that shouldn't affect the shroud in any way, I don't think. I am wondering if anybody knows where I can go, (preferably online, but I'm not limiting myself to that) to get something like this made. Or is it easier just to get some aluminum and do it myself. I don't have any major tools to work with, but I'm not opposed to getting any as I would like to do more modding on my own in the future and they come in handy. Additionally, if anyone has any ideas for something to put on the side of the shroud as it looks pretty bland right now, I am open to suggestions. Any help with this would be awesome. Or if I'm going in the completely wrong direction with this and there is already something made that would fit my purpose.

Source: The Verge Michael Grzesiek, known as Shroud, has joined Mixer in an exclusive deal, leaving Twitch in favor of the new streaming service. Shroud will be joining fellow former Twitch megastar Ninja in the Mixer exclusivity deal. In the Verge article in source, the Verge has reported that the reasoning behind Ninja's original move was due to Ninja and Twitch's disconnect and the inability for Twitch to grow his 'Ninja' brand. Thus, he moved to Mixer to expand upon his growth, citing that money was the last thing on his mind. Shroud joining Ninja over on Mixer is a clear sign that Twitch is beginning to lose their touch. I can't see any other reason behind Shroud with his huge Twitch fanbase moving over to Mixer beside what Ninja quoted regarding his own move from Twitch. Makes me wonder if anybody is next to join Shroud and Ninja over on Mixer, and for what reasons. Also since Shroud is supposed to be featuring in a high refresh rate monitor video sometime later this year (or next?) on Linus Tech Tips, that he'll talk about it, or link to his Mixer instead of Twitch.

What's the point of using a game where fast motion isn't that commonplace to test whether or not 240fps makes a noticeable difference or not? If Linus wanted to really determine whether or not it does he should have used a much faster game with a lot more constant motion such as Quake. Get a hold of Rapha, Paradoks, Cooller, Garpy, K1llsen, and have them put the setups through the paces. Higher FPS is really only more noticeable and more advantageous in faster paced twich shooters like Quake and if you want an easier game UT. Not grandma camp with hitscan weapons noobfests like CS.

My MSI OCV2 Single Fan Gtx 1060 6GB card's fan stopped working a while ago and Ive made do with a case fan and zip ties, but no longer shall I be held down via the shackles of the stated case fan! I want to sell it pretty soon here as im planning to upgrade and I have a 1050ti to hold me over until it gets here. I was wondering whether anyone would know if this fan ( https://www.ebay.com/i/184451829683?rt=nc&_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D225086%26meid%3Da90544e594984ba38c3f564c5d32f6dd%26pid%3D100677%26rk%3D8%26rkt%3D30%26mehot%3Dnone%26sd%3D174214742463%26itm%3D184451829683%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2386202%26algv%3DDefaultOrganic%26brand%3DMSI ) will fit, as im not really familiar with replacing shrouds on cards (Although I do wanna try out water cooling on the card im planning on getting). I have tried to find the actual shroud that it came with online, but to no avail. If anyone could help me, that would be great! Also, if other cheaper shrouds fit on it, or a dual fan one does, I would really like to know! Im totally down for getting this old girl something nice before I send her out unto the world yet again. Thanks in advance

Hey, this is my custom pc with a custom psu cover/ shroud. Instead of replacing my case, I have decided to make it myself. This psu cover cost me about $50 to make but I ordered 3 different shrouds ; aluminium, stainless steel and steel. Unfortunately, I don't live in America or Europe ( sorry ). Anyway, Hope you enjoy PC SPECS Cpu : i5 6600k Gpu : gtx 960 Ram : 16 gb ddr4 Water cooler : H100i GTX Motherboard : Z170- A Storage : 1 TB HDD, 128 GB SSD Case : Nzxt Phantom 240 Psu : Cooler master V750 ( semi-modular)

So, I decided to ditch my ghetto cardboard (painted black ) psu cover and make proper one. First I pictured how it could look like, then I started to paint down some sketches and a day later found myself with work clothes, gloves and goggles. Marked up and cut pieces out to form the thing I need, then I just bent it on a bench. Constantly testing with my PC if everything lines up the way I need it and it did go quite smoothly. The GPU cable hole was cut with a plasma cutter, filed it and went over with the paper. Painted it matte black to match the R5 and it's like 1:1. The cover attaches to the rear slot. Overall, I am really happy with it, turned out nearly perfect.

Hi guys. I have a Fractal Design Define r5 with a window and want a PSU cover. It should be on top of the PSU and shield all my cables and mess in the bottom. Secondly I want custom cables from the GPU to go straight down through a hole into that shield to the PSU. And lastly I would like to mount 2 SSD's on there to show them off so that you can see them through the side panel. What would be the best way to do that? Would you recommend building a little stand for the SSD's like in this mod (First picture http://www.bsmods.com/gallery.html)? What material can i make a cover out of and has anyone a material list with dimensions? Also which tools will I need? I'm pretty confident I can do the painintig part and drilling holes for SSD's but i'm not sure about the metal itself and bigger holes for power cables.. Any tips and materials such as which colour you used would be great and suggestions how I could showcase my SSD's would be awesome!

My target color scheme for my PC is black with blue lighting, but my Sound Blaster ZX has extremely bright red LED's light that are throwing off the whole scheme. I could just remove the LED's but I was hoping I could replace them with blue LED's that compliment the rest of my case. Problem is, I can't seem to find the specs for the LED's anywhere and I don't want to risk damaging anything by using the wrong LED (if that is even possible). In addition, I was considering painting the metal shroud black for further color-coordination. Is there any specific type of paint I should use? I was just considering covering the window with tape and spray painting it black. Any thoughts? This if my first foray into component modding so this is all new territory for me.

For those of you who has a EVGA Hyrid GTX 980, GTX 980 Ti, or Titan X. EVGA is now offering a free shroud for your gpu. The shroud is has a slightly different design than the one the gpu has come with and even has LED. To get it, just sign up and go through the verification process, once it's done, they'll send you your free shroud. But you'll still have to pay shipping and handling. http://www.evga.com/articles/00962/EVGA-HYBRID-Face-Off-Program/

Hey guys. My pc is an SFF OEM build by HP (z200 sff). It has an i5-760, 4gbs of RAM and a newly installed GALAXY 750 ti low profile graphics card. I got the new card because I wanted to play Crysis, and I can - but my card runs very hot (peaked at 83 degrees Celsius) and due to the SFF case, I cannot add any new case fans to go alongside the single fan in the front that's got an airflow director adjacent to the CPU heatsink. The fan draws air into the case from the front and through the CPU heatsink. Hot air is currently just passively leaking out the holes at the back of the pc and heating the top panel up. My questions are: Would I get better cooling If removed the shroud directing air into the CPU - and how much hotter do you guys think it would make my CPU run? Would I get better cooling if I reversed the fan so that It drew hot air out of the case instead of drawing cool air into it. Any suggestions are appreciated! The manual is found here: http://h50146.www5.hp.com/lib/doc/manual/workstation/hp_workstation/z200sff_maintenance_and_service_guide.pdf The three images show the front, top and front-top. The fan and shroud can be seen on the bottom left, with the graphics card on the top left and the CPU between them. The power supply is a propriety one and there is little to no room for cable management.

Hello everyone, I hope i chose the right subforum I am planning to switch from ivy-bridge to skylake soonish and would like to populate the PCI3-Lane fed M.2 slot with a Samsung SM951 M.2 SSD. Sadly I'm in love with the specs but not the looks of the M.2 powerhouse. Would it be possible to 3d print a shroud to hide the M.2 drive? Do you guys have an idea how I could probably mount it to the motherboard without making it so permanent so that I couldn't replace the drive should it fail on me? Its also my first time in contact with M.2 drives so would there be problems with heat generation maybe? The actual printing part wouldn't be a problem I could print it at a local college for a small fee. -Cheers Zaros

So I don't hate looking at my PSU or anything BUT I think my case (Corsair 350D) would look even better with a PSU shroud. What material should I use, and how should I go about making it? Edit: also looking for a clean look, with a matte black finish to match the paint of the case.

So I'm looking into making a custom PSU shroud for my Define R5. I'm trying to have a metal fabrication shop handle the initial bending and cutting, but they don't do intricate stuff, so the small cuts, grommeting, and painting is up to me. Basically I need to know if it's difficult to make precise measured cuts in aluminum sheeting with your standard Dremel. -Is there a specific attachment I should look into for cutting aluminum? For cutting, for sanding down? Rudimentary plans are below. These don't show it, but I plan to have two parallel grommeted cable holes on the right side of the top piece for GPU and motherboard stuff (Case, USB, etc..) I also want to cut out a very small nook in the top left of the "top" piece for my audio cable to route through to my mobo. I'm also open to suggestions for how to mount this thing in the case. My initial thought was to attach some 90° flat corners onto the inside bottom of the shroud, and put velcro on those and the case, but I'm not sure that'd be the best option here. *EDITED* - replaced images with final dimensions, now in good ol' inches Sorry this isn't the most specific of questions, but I'm open to any and all suggestions from anyone who's done this kind of stuff before.

I was looking at NZXT cases one day and I stumbled upon their H440's psu shroud. I thought It looked really cool so I looked around to see if there were any other cases that have a psu cover. I created this topic to see if any of you guys make or know someone who makes psu shrouds. I looked on mod bunkers website and saw that they were out of stock.(http://modbunker.com/shop/custom-products/power-supply-cover/) So I am now looking for an alternative. I am using the CM Storm Stryker case and plan to buy the psu cover from them if possible. Thank You!!!

I have a MSI N560GTX Ti: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560GTXTi_Twin_Frozr_IIOC.html There is a fan that is getting a little rattly when spinning at lower RPMs. I am considering replacing them completely but I would prefer to avoid having to remove the whole cooler just to swap out the fans. From examining the cooler, there seems to be some screw points that mount the shroud on to the heatsink but they are in weird and awkward spots. Anyone with experience with working with this cooler have some advice to provide as to the possibility of removing only the shroud? Will there be certain tools that will make the job easier? Thank you
