One of the main things I need to change is the cooling on the main gaming rig which I plan to do full custom water cooling on in the near future if I can fix the cable problem. The issue I'm having is that I've got too many cables connecting the PC to the desk, and the desk is too cluttered with wires. I've started work overhauling the horrifyingly bad wall covers and desk, but the length of the cables is giving me significant issues. If I didn't have a sit/stand desk I feel like this would be easier to manage, but I do work at this computer for extended periods so having the ability to stand/walk is a huge quality of life improvement. I actually had given up on this setup and was trying to sell off all the hardware for around 2k (without selling the monitors), but the only thing anyone wanted was the ducky keyboard. So now I'm giving this a second try and seeing if I can make this the setup I had originally set out to make. Any help on this would be amazing. And again, I know there's problems with lighting, wall poster/paint, and desk. These are all being improved as you read this. Also the third PC is my laptop (not pictured) which has brackets and is sitting on the left wing now. Summery since I didn't do a good job asking anything: What would you guys recommend to connect the two computers to the desk? Is there a way I could use two thunderbolt 3 cables to connect to two thunderbolt hubs that would sit under the desk to connect everything that way? The only thunderbolt 3 hub I have can't drive both the 144hz monitor and the 34" wide 1440p monitor. Are there better and longer cables then what I've found to connect both computers to the desk?

Hey y'all! After years of dreaming about building my own PC, and watching countless LTT videos, I've finally built my first PC. Technically built this in mid-2021, but never got around to posting about it until now haha. Being in India, PC part prices are MUCH higher than in the US, so that might explain why the specs don't quite match up to the price tag haha. Anyways, here are the specs. Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450M-A II RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3000Mhz (8x2) GPU: Asus ROG Strix 1070 (Used) Storage: Crucial P2 1TB PCIe M.2 Power Supply: Silverstone Viva 650 Bronze Bronze Case: Deepcool Matrexx 40 Fans: Ant eSports Superflow 120 (x3) Monitor: ViewSonic XG2405 24" 1080p 144Hz Keyboard: Redragon K552 RGB (Outemu Blue Switches) Mouse: Regragon M606 I've very creatively named this build "IceStorm" since, uhm, the white / cyan RGB lighting looks good on it, lol. Here's a lil' highlight reel I shot of the build! Hope Y'all enjoy :")

The three vertical fans on the front face are pulling in, the two fans right behind them are pushing out through the 240mm Rad for the cpu, and I've got the one on top above the cpu and the one at the top rear both pushing out. Just wondering if there's a better way. Might be worth mentioning that my gpu seems to exhaust straight out its back plate but I haven't noticed any performance hit since putting it in the vertical mount. Also, let me know what you guys think of the build in general. It's a frankenstein born out of piece by piece purchases in attempts to burn gambling luck somewhere other than directly back into the site, here's the list. MSI Z390-A Pro i9-9900k 5.0ghz All Core 1.32v Rosewill (I think) P240-RGB AIO Asus RTX 2060 Super comfortably at 2100Mhz 4x 8gb GSkill Trident RGB 3200Mhz DDR4 Samsung 970 EVO 1TB V-NAND NVMe m.2 SSD Samsung 860 EVO 1TB Sata SSD (mounted behind the motherboard) Toshiba USB 3.0 1TB External HDD Corsair TX650 PSU (taken from an my previous ROG build) All wrapped up in a Thermaltake Level 20MT ARGB Case. (Featuring Tesla Model 3) I suppose, technically speaking, this is my first actual build that I myself chose hardware, funded it, and put it all together all on my own. I look forward to absolutely any sort of feedback, be it function, aesthetic, ridicule, or declaration of love.

I keep hearing of people having to remove interior parts in mid ATX cases or doing crazy things to get the Asus Zenith Extreme motherboard to fit. I know it's not a huge huge board, but it is oversized. Can someone post pics or give me a clue how the install went for them in a be quiet! Dark Base 700 case?

It has always been one of my dreams to build a pc. I am not a hardcore gamer or editor at all. I am just building the pc to fulfill my desire. It is going to be my first build so I would really like some suggestions/improvement. The theme is White and Black. Custom liquid cooling is the idea in the long run but for now these are my selected parts http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/pWqXgs I would also like some suggestions for triple quadhd monitors setup (budget is approx1000 euros) Any feedback will be much appreciated

Why are you upgrading? I had a hp dv6-3200 laptop. They are prone to overheating. Unfortunately, recently my dedicated gpu died on me. After i fried dedicated gpu, performance in programs i use on daily basics dropped down, as to as low as getting couple of frames per second in showcase. I'm a member of one of the University Rover Challange - and guess what? As a mechanic, I'm doing most of the modelling and simulations, also my CAM fu*ks up on integrated card so i cannot write programs for my CNC mill. So I'm looking for a cheap way to get back into working, asap. I'm not think about getting new components. All used. Budget: Poland, budget of maximum 1200 PLN (currently about 300 USD), but want to go as low as possible. Aim Mostly Inventor modelling, stress FEA in simulation mechanical, rendering in showcase (not final quality, but for a decent preview). I also do some video editing in premiere, but its like 1080p, so it's not so heavy comparing to showcase rendering. Peripherals I need nothing. I already have a couple of spare monitors, keyboard and a mice, speakers with woofer. Build: CPU: Athlon x4 860K Quite sure about that, i can buy one for 72$ Mobo: MSI A68HM-E33 That something I'm not quite sure of - i want it to have at least 1 USB 3.0 port, additional RAM slots would be an advantage, as well as OC ability. As for now, it's about 35$. RAM: whatever cheap 8gb DDR3 stick will come cheaply, im thinking about 26$. I don't want to buy 2x4, so i can quickly upgrade. GPU: Now that's what's troubling me. I was thinking about: ASUS HD 7790 DirectCU II 1GB GDDR5 OC XFX Radeon HD 6870 2GB AMD Radeon Gigabyte Windforce 3x HD6970-2Gb Each one about 75$. PSU: Not worried, have some spares. Same with the case. Guys, Im not a "build custom pc all the time guy", but a mechanic - so can you help me? Appreciate it big time.

Hi there, all, Although unrelated to this site in regards to technology, I just thought that it may be a fun idea to begin a topic that provides an area for artistic individuals within the community and those who appreciate art to thrive, focusing on user submitted artwork, showcasing artistic ability or imaginative designs. Consequently, I will begin by posting one of the latest conceptual pieces that I have produced utilising a mixture of mediums from pencil and pen in the early development stages to 'Adobe Illustrator' and 'Photoshop' in the final stages. Unfortunately, I have had to scale the quality of the file down exponentially but it still retains most of the detail. Feel free to upload your own designs so that we may simply admire or provide constructive feedback on your artwork.
